Woods35 in Landelijk Gebied

We wanted to eat there. The website didn't have much information about opening hours. We called three times and got no response. We finally just took a chance and drove there, but it was dark.

A lovely little restaurant where you can enjoy a cheese/meat fondue early in the evening. It would be nice if there were an option to order something to go with the fondue. One starter or dessert would make the meal more complete. Now, you'll be done with the meal quite quickly, which isn't what you expect with fondue!

We had a lovely evening at Woods35. We received a warm welcome from the hostess. We came for the cheese fondue and chose the truffle version. It was served with a flatbread, vegetables, and fruit. The atmosphere was relaxed. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

What a fantastic restaurant!! We love cheese fondue and try as many restaurants as possible that have it on their menu, but so far, this one is clearly our favorite. The truffle is especially delicious. And the service is superb: personal and authentic. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal on a Saturday evening. The only downside was that we'd already consumed a lot of alcoholic drinks, but that was manageable considering the deliciously prepared dishes.

A fondue restaurant, not sure that is the way I would have gone with it. We replaced it with raclette many years ago. It was fun, the food was good, the portions were generous. Went again, we ordered several days ahead, got there, the meat fondue we ordered was not available. Ordered the truffle cheese instead, I liked it but my dad definitely did not. Very disappointed.

Nice spot on the edge of the forest. Otherwise, nothing special. We were called to say they were out of schnitzels, and there was only one goat cheese salad left. Not a good idea if you already have a reservation. The service was friendly, but busy with other things, and we had to wait a long time before our plates were collected. The hamburger was delicious, as was the steak. But there were a lot of fries, not much meat, and not much salad. The decor wasn't special, and a cushion on the chairs would have been nice. In short: nice place, friendly staff, but the food and the selection are just meh. I won't go there again.

We loved the rustic ambiance. The service (was it the owner?) was very friendly and attentive. We had a blue cheese fondu (vegetables, bread) and a steak with fries. We really enjoyed the combination – it was delicious, exactly what we wanted! Good beer! Price for 2: €115

No better place for having a lazy drink outside. Pet friendly. Beautiful drive to get there. Well priced food menu as well.

Excellent food and pleasant staff.

On a Sunday at 6:30 PM we were the last (and only) guests. The first thing I noticed was that it was not equally clean everywhere. The napkins were gone and so was the cocktail sauce after 1 container. The fondue pot was very low and very open (without a protective insert), so my entire shirt was covered in grease splatters, not just the shirt; I also had several grease splatters on my hands and in my face and on 1 eyelid. The pan couldn't really be softer, otherwise the meat wouldn't be cooked. Unlimited meat fondue for four people (32 euros per person), a small bowl of fries and reasonable quality meat, plus a very large bowl of bread, as well as 2 salads and watermelon. After serving, they had also started cleaning the kitchen, so we were able to enjoy the clean air. We had to specifically ask for refill of the meat ourselves (bread, wine and sauce were asked if we wanted more) and that was only 4 small pieces of steak and some mini meatballs, that's all we got. The service was friendly and personable, but unfortunately this could not make up for the overall impression. Not again for us.

The cheese fondue was tasty but not very special. Too bad you have to choose 1 flavor per table. What was special was the lack of dessert, there was still some vienetta in the freezer. If you accept reservations, purchase your products accordingly. Or at least put some chocolates or an affogato on the menu...

Van buitenaf had de eetgelegenheid een beetje trieste aanblik. Binnen was het niet veel beter. Herentoilet zonder bril. Bordjes op de WC deuren hingen allemaal los en met veel kapstokhaakjes was het niet veel beter. Binnen was er weinig sfeer en alles was erg gedateerd. De man en vrouw die ons bedienden waren alleraardigst, maar na binnenkomst moest alles snel. Snel drankje, snel eten. De kaasfondue smaakte prima alleen was het niet echt veel wat we kregen (niet genoeg voor twee personen) met stokbrood en groenten uit de diepvries. We hebben ondanks alles lekker gegeten, maar hadden nog wel een beetje honger. Helaas niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Nice location if you arrive in the evening. The venue is not very big but that did not matter in this case, it made it even more fun. I was invited by a friend who wanted to celebrate her birthday in a small circle (24 people). She had chosen a BBQ with buffet, super fun!! In this case, the meat was prepared for us by the house outside and served inside on the buffet table. So we could grab something delicious! I thought it was a shame that we had to eat from disposable paper plates and that there was no satay stick and steak with the BBQ, but I am only a guest. That should not spoil the fun, it was super fun with the group that evening. But THEN, the next day, at least half of us, including 3 pregnant ladies, started vomiting, diarrhea and fever, including the birthday girl herself. I myself am now starting to recover after 2.5 days. So this is FOOD POISONING!! I heard from the birthday boy that nothing is happening from the restaurant, hence this review. As the owner I would at least say: birthday boy would like to come by with his friend and children so I can make it up to him.

Leuke gastvrouw maar daar is alles mee gezegd. 2 kazen had ze niet. Frikadellen had ze niet. Dessert maar 1 keus. En er moet echt schoon gemaakt worden. Kan niet door de ramen kijken. Spinnenwebben aan plafon. Geen aanrader. 2x geweest maar nu is het klaar.

Omdat wij graag wilden wilden vlees fonduen zijn wij naar Woods35 gegaan. Als je aan komt rijden is het een beetje een trieste aanblik. Het ziet er onverzorgd en rommelig uit aan de buitenkant. Binnen eigenlijk een beetje hetzelfde. Weinig sfeer terwijl je met een beetje kaarsjes en simpele vrolijke items het eenvoudig een leuk boshuis achtige uitstraling kunt geven. Ook zou er wel eens goed schoongemaakt kunnen worden. De vleesfondue was erg middelmatig. Vlees was ok maar niet lekker mals. De olie wilde naar ons idee niet echt goed warm worden waardoor het langzaam gaarde ipv lekker in de olie bakken. De sausjes werden op drie schaaltjes uitgeserveerd maar kwamen direct uit een kant en klare tube..... De bediening was erg vriendelijk. De gastvrouw deed alles alleen en had een goed overzicht over alle tafeltjes. Lof daarvoor maar om een etentje echt te doen slagen is er wel meer voor nodig.

Leuke tent maar wat je krijgt is bar weinig glazen wijn zijn 3 slokjes en kaasfondue voor 2 personen was echt veel te weinig echt jammer

Wat een slecht eten, waren met een groep van 30 pers. Wat brie, kaasblokjes, rauwe ham, meloen en voor iedereen 1 stukje stokbrood, koude smaakloze gehaktballetjes (zonder saus), kipkluifje dat was wel lekker, voor elk 1 per persoon 4 bakjes friet voor 30 personen en dan nacho chips. Geen gazpacho, geen wrap, geen pinchos. Veel mensen hadden nog honger. Je betaalt niet veel, maar zelfs dat is nog teveel voor hetgeen je krijgt. Mij zien ze hier nooit meer terug.

Had dinner with 30 people. No gazpacho, balls cold and without sauce. At most a few warm chicken bones. Pure salad without the option of adding any oil or sauce. Staff was friendly but clearly could not cope with being alert to drink supplies. Prices for drinks were not known, so it was an unpleasant surprise to have to pay 11 euros for 2 soft drinks and regular coffee. Unfortunately, the tapas menu was not really successful... Hygiene in the toilet, etc. also requires more attention, for example by cleaning better and placing toilet rolls on the holder, not on the floor.

Super really super bad we fad example menu very nicely written but received super bad. Ate with 30 people, all thumbs down.

Had a dinner here (meat fondue) for my parents' 65th wedding anniversary. They enjoyed it and the fondue was great!

Absolutely great, despite the complaints from other visitors at the same time. The lady of the house wanted to solve it properly and this solution was not honored. You will be taken care of down to the last detail and will have a nice short chat afterwards, if possible. (due to crowds). I recommend everyone to experience this unique experience.

What a wonderful evening it was, which we look back on with great pleasure. All I can say is that everything was perfect! We decided to try both the cheese fondue truffle and the Classic cheese fondue, and both dishes were delicious. I'm starting to feel like it again now.. :p. The wine was also very tasty. For dessert we had a delicious Chocolate Fondue, absolutely great! But it wasn't just the food that made our visit memorable. The service was top notch - attentive, friendly and oh so cozy :). It was really a party for us!!! From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were well looked after. We would love to come back again and will definitely recommend this restaurant!

Fantastic location and great service! This Woods 35 provided a great BBQ for our group of about 30 people. The location is completely surrounded by the forest, which really gives you the feeling of a private location.

Nice location and very cozy inside. Cheerful hostess. Truffle cheese fondue tasted very good. The quantity was disappointing. Huge basket of bread, and a meager bowl of fruit and vegetables (four grapes). Ordered extra salami: 3 slices for €4.50. Dessert was simple, nothing could go wrong with it: pieces of strawberry with whipped cream from a can. For more than €80 on the final bill, we expected a little more

This was a really delicious cheese fondue, delicious vegetables (nice and crispy) and lots of bread and a super owner! Just nice and relaxed and friendly, as it should be. I recently celebrated an anniversary party at Woods35. The space is very cozy. Parking spaces on site are somewhat limited, but there were plenty within walking distance. Chantal is an excellent, cordial and good hostess, invisible yet present. She had delicious snacks and although there were more than 60 guests, the party afternoon (with a friendly young lady as extra help) was extremely relaxed. Cheers!

We ate here in December, but it has been on my 'to do' list for a while to write a review of this great restaurant. A real surprise: cozy, great location (parking lot, but also easily accessible by bike), delicious (!) fondue and fantastic, personal service. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

What a very nice place. When you arrive you are already surprised by the nice location. I'm also very curious about the summer. Op een koude zaterdagavond hier op dit fantastische plekje beland. De locatie in het bos en het enthousiasme van Chantal maakt het dat jeje meteen welkom voelt en opwarmt. Wij kwamen voor de aangeprezen kaasfondue en die was geweldig! Wat hebben wij genoten hiervan en wij gaan hier zeker nog meerdere keren voor terugkomen! Dit verborgen pareltje in het bos is een aanrader en mag niet gemist worden als liefhebber van lekker eten. Ga zo door! 5 sterren dik verdiend

Een heerlijke kaasfondue (op aanraden van de gastvrouw met truffel) en een gezellige plek met een super hardwerkende gastvrouw. Wij begrepen dat er sinds kort volledig is ingezet op de kaasfondue zodat de gastvrouw niet afhankelijk is van derden en alles zelf kan behappen. Ze werkt ontzettend hard wat niet ten koste gaat van de humor en nette manier van omgaan met de gasten. Zeker een aanrader!

Wij hebben vanavond heerlijk gegeten! Wij hebben op aanraden van de vriendelijke gastvrouw de truffel kaasfondue gegeten en dat was een zeer geslaagde keuze! We hebben de kaasfondue ook nog opgevolgd met een heerlijk chocolade fondue als dessert en ook dat was een feestje! Wanneer je in de buurt bent ga dan zeker even langs bij dit leuke en bovenal gezellige restaurant!

Super lekker, in een mooi bosgebied

We hebben gisteren een feest gehouden bij Woods, heerlijk gegeten en gedronken. Alles was perfect, de BBQ en de Oesters vooraf. Onze gasten zijn tevreden naar huis gegaan.

Heel erg mooi restaurant met vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk eten.

Wat een gezellige plek eten was heerlijk!! En de service was top we hebben genoten !
