The food was delicious, and everything was exactly as it was at the mukbangs. The service was very friendly, and the location is great, right in the middle of all the shops in Amsterdam, so you have a beautiful view. I 100% recommend their homemade ice tea as a drink; it's super delicious. Wowcrab is truly the place to be; don't miss out!

Love this place, rushed over for our last night 30 min before close time and they refused to sear us, we’re just two people, we would’ve been in and out in 30min, everyone respecting everyones time. But just change your closing time to 21:30.

Food was ok, but not great. Did I sense the margarine instead of butter in the Cajun sauce? I hope I am wrong. The crab was fine, fresh. The "standard" boil ingredients are not freshly cooked, so the green shell mussles are like rubber. How can you spoil the green shell mussels in this manner, I don't get it. Shrimps are also overcooked. That happens when you precook your shellfish. I understand the plastic bag, the metal bucket under your table and plastic gloves, but there is so much trash produced, unnecessary. You can actually solve this in a more sustainable manner. American style dining is fine, but jeez, just make it enjoyable on all of the levels, we are still in Europe. 1. No tap water. 1 litre of mineral water is 10,- euros (that's 10x over the original price) 2. QR menus. Still you have to ask all questions personally, and then get your nose back into the phone. This is so cheap. 3. Not enough special cutlery. You are expected to SHARE your crab crackers with your party, like sit there and wait til your friend is done. 4. Way too loud music. 5. Personnel was bored and not loyal to their boss' policy on water (which I totally get, but hey, you don't want your personnel gossiping with customers, because these customers will never return). All this for a lunch of at minimum of 50,- euros (without alcohol).

We tried the Lobster, and it was good but moderate overall. The food was flavorful, the shrimp mussels though not quite the Cajun style we expected. Service and atmosphere were fine, but the experience was average.

The seafood at Wowcrab is fresh, but unfortunately it really lacks flavor and the meatiness is quite low compared to the high prices. On top of that, they weren’t responsive when I tried to reserve a spot, which was disappointing. Overall, the experience felt underwhelming for the cost, and I wouldn’t plan to visit again

A very strange establishment, it was of course interesting to pick at the food, which is dumped directly on the tablecloth without plates, with your hands, but we will definitely not come here again. I think that we are simply not the target audience of this restaurant 🙃

The trick is added extras can take the price up. Our order combo 2 with almost 70 Euro and then ended up paying 116 Euros . Never buy Thor mocktails as the flavors are bad and tooo sugary. Bad experience and overpriced

The food was delicious! But it was still spicy even when we took mild. There was so loud music, that we could not hear each other. To of the young boys just talked right beside us, when we needed help. But then i got my eyes on another waiter and he help us.

We went for garlic butter Shrips corn and potatoes and every piece of the food was extremely flavourful I have never tried sea food that tastes this good. Comes with everything you need toothpicks aprons sanitise wipes and plenty of tissues! The gay who took our order was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcomed! Would 10000% recommend and will definitely be coming back!!!!😋😋

not the best experience for me, its to messy to eat like this imho, the prices are a bit on the tourist trap side, and the toilet was like a swimming pool, the seasoning sause is not the best and me and my date got an upset belly afterwards, room for improvement

The food was delicious and the staff was welcoming! The tables are quite close to eachother, which can feel a bit awkward, but I cannot expect something else from a restaurant in the city centre. To add, the drinks (ice tea) are very expensive for the amount you get :) In total, it was great!!

I decided to book this place intrigued by the fish menu, especially considering that in Amsterdam there is not much if you do not want to eat the usual burger. The place is very nice, it offers a menu with fish soup to share. The table is set with a paper tablecloth on which the fish is turned out. So you eat with gloves. We tried a portion of fried calamari, very good and shared a soup for 1-2 for €60 and it was really very filling. I recommend it!

Usually I’m not a review kind of person. Made a reservation for 3.30pm, went there and the whole place stunk like toilet. Tried to sit there but couldn’t take the smell and left. For a restaurant to smell like that is not acceptable!

Very disappointed from our arrival to our departure. Super rude waitress, terrible welcome. The website to view their menus was under maintenance. We waited almost 30 minutes without being able to see what we were going to order. Plus, there was a mistake in our order: crayfish instead of crab. A special experience, very good food at a fair price with good service.

The food is good, and the options are also good. You can choose from different sauces and create different combinations. However, the place has some issues. For example, the menu is only online, and the problem is that there are areas in the restaurant where you don't have internet access. So it can take a few minutes to view the menu. Please bring back physical menus and stop making them digital when the network is bad. On the other hand, not only is the menu online, you also have to order online, and that somewhat ruins the dining experience, at least for me. They also give you gloves to clean yourself, but for example, a sharing platter for four people only gives a minimal portion of rice and doesn't provide any cutlery, which I feel is necessary for rice. We arrived without a reservation and were sent to the corner of the place when it was empty.

The vibe was not it, staff was bored and disgusted, they got our order wrong (which you place on a website?), after waiting for the staff to notice me, the waitress came and took a picture, dont know how to feel about that. We had the combo for 2 with garlic butter sauce and lobster, which was very chewy and overcooked. The sauce was very yummy 12/10 as well the shrimps. For the price they could put more corn and potatoes, which were delicious as well. Overall nice food but experience not as nice.

Was a really cool experience. Food was delicious and the service was very helpful....the only downside I personally found were the crayfish (I think it was)...they tasted fine, but there was just very little meat on them...still 5 stars on all points because everything else was perfect! I will definitely come back!

Best seafood boil in Amsterdam. It’s easier to book ahead so you’re not queuing for too long. Good portions and can book everything via app and then pay at the end. Highly recommend!

We've been three times already, and we just love the seafood and the whole fingereating experience. We always order extra potatoes and corn. The large stone wall is the eyecatcher of the restaurant, but the rest could maybe do with a slight make over. All the same, the eating experience immediately overshadows any shortcomings in the decor. The staff are always friendly, very helpfull and always help us out by cracking the lobster, explaining stuff or swiftly getting us whatever we want. We will be visiting again coming weekend. I can't wait.

I've been wanting to go to this place for a very long time, so I'm a little disappointed. I didn't like the atmosphere in the restaurant at all, like in a cheap diner. The toilets are ugly. We didn't like the service very much, we didn't have time to finish eating, wipe our hands, as everything was immediately taken away from us, even napkins. The menu is great, the selection is good, the food was very pleasant, but the atmosphere ruined everything.

Coming here is a experience. The place is nice as is the staff, the prices are not cheap but on average for Amsterdam. We spent 60 for 3 people , with tip, it's not much. The idea of the boil is Curious, but it takes a lot of patience to clean the fish. I believe that the food is not fresh but frozen, of medium/good quality. Be careful with the pepper, because the sauces are very spicy and garlicky. They also provide you with gloves and apron, in case you get dirty and various cutlery to clean lobster/crab . will come back with other friends who want to try it! is a very abundant dinner, nice to share with friends and not on the first date 🤣 I recommend the prosecco CARMELA Really sweet 🫶🏼

i only gave the service and the atmosphere 5 because it was not possible to give 10 out of all the restaurants i’ve been in amsterdam definitely the best when it comes to service and the atmosphere. the food was also quite nice we tried both the lobster and the north sea crab the lobster was definitely better. definitely will come again

An absolute highlight for seafood lovers. Wowcrab is known for its bucket packages. Depending on the number of people, you also have more choice of seafood. The garlic sauce was a great combination for the bucket. It would have been great if the crab was a little cleaner inside too. We recommend everyone to visit this restaurant!! Go and enjoy 😉

The food was delicious and the quantity was good. We ordered shrimp with corn and rice. It was external. The quantity is enough for two people. It was very excellent and the staff were good and everything was ordered and charged from the barcode 👍🏼

It wasn't worth the 60 euros. It's all the hype, the crayfish had almost no meat in it. Fish is not cleaned so there are still intestines in everything. And I walked out and I'm still hungry. It seems nicer than it actually is on the internet. It is cheaper to make your own seafood boil with stuff from the supermarket. Disappointing

Visited WOWCrab recently and had a mixed experience. The service was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. However, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The interior felt neglected — paint peeling off the walls, wobbly chairs, and cheap-looking tables gave the place a rundown vibe that didn’t match the prices on the menu. Speaking of prices, the seafood portions were quite small for what you pay, making it feel overpriced. On the bright side, the seafood sauce was flavorful and complemented the dishes well — probably the highlight of the meal. Overall, while the staff did a great job, the lack of maintenance and value for money made it a disappointing experience. With some updates to the decor and more generous portions, it could be much better.

Overall it wasn't bad, but the sausages were a bit too much in the dish, and you can skip the crayfish because there wasn't much meat and it didn't have much flavor. But the food was delicious. I didn't like that they started clearing the table very quickly and asked if I had finished my drink. It was like they wanted me to leave. But I recommend trying it.

Really excited to try. Got a taxi there for 9pm and was refused service as the kitchen had closed. Closing time online is 10pm. I get the kitchen may close a little early but an hour before is a joke. Really disappointing and from the UK so will not be able to try again.

Dined here last week and got poisoned. We had mixed plates so cant tell what exactly it was. I had nausea and vomited for 2 days.

Ate yesterday. Ordered a bag for 2-3 people. Wasn't enough for the 2 of us. We have been here before but this time we were shocked at how bad it was. The lobster was completely soft on the inside and inedible. Seemed like it was completely overcooked or just broken. Really never had anything like this before. Super shame because it's 150 euros further.

Location Amsterdam: Take-way order ordered. Called to check if it had arrived correctly, due to... lack of time for collection. They had not received the order, called back and forth and texted with proof (email confirmation of order, bank debit, etc.). Solution from Wowcrab, cancel order and reorder. The problem is theirs, but I can solve it. Asked several times to speak to the manager, because how do I know that I will get my money back? But then you have to pay twice for an order. There was not even a cancellation option in the email. The final score was only confirmed in the restaurant at the time of collection. Compensation: bag with fries and mayo. Oh yes, and the sausage was missing from the order. Very disappointing, the appetite was gone after 45 minutes of calling back and forth.. it went away again. Hardly able to really enjoy the food due to the frustration.

Easy order through scan. Nice ambiance with view through window. Smiley staff. Ordered combo menu and I choose mild spicy. Which was toooo spicy xD Can’t imagine how spicy spicy tastes . So be mindful on that when you order

Excellent experience. Delicious shellfish with a spectacular sauce. You have to be prepared to get your hands dirty, but it's worth it. After a first experience we returned and got a really good combo with giant prawns.

A fun experience for the kids eating with your hands.we thought the portions were small. We had a combo for 2-3 people and a snow crab meal. My 12 and 13 year old ate most of it and I only got to taste. For the price, we expected more. There are not really options if you don't like seafood. My husband had the chicken wings that were an appitizer for his main course. We didn't like having to order with your phone, would have preferred a menu to look at. The music was way too loud.

A pleasant and special experience. But compared to the other locations I have the impression that this is not the best. Price quite high for what you get. We were seated in the 2nd section, but the setup at the front is a bit more pleasant to sit in.
