All was good until the point where my friend tried to find his jacket and he could not. Someone made a mistake I told him… but later on I went searching for my jacket and I could not find it. Our jackets where stolen. With all valuables inside. When I told the owner he did not look surprised at all. Don’t go there

Good food and a beautiful location. The only downside: the staff who act like they are better than you. They don't seem to know the meaning of 'the guest is king'. A shame, because being nice is free!

I came to this place again today, which I visit every week, but I was asked to leave because of a private event. If there is going to be a private party, it should be announced in advance on the official website or Instagram. I’m usually happy with the music and service, but this is the first time I’ve been disappointed. Unfortunately, without prior notice, regular customers may be turned away at the door.

What a fantastic place! I celebrated my birthday here, and it was a huge success. Delicious pizzas and Italian snacks. Great atmosphere and a good DJ. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful evening! Super fun atmosphere, delicious Italian food, especially the pizzas! Later in the evening, the tables are pushed aside, and you can dance for hours! It's also great to combine with a movie. Everything you need for a great night out!

Delicious drinks, pizzas, and tasty snacks in a fantastically atmospheric location! After dinner, the music kicks up occasionally, and you can easily stay for hours. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun evening in the Houthavens.

Great pizza, nice vibe. I think they have italians running the kitchen, that understand what tomatoes can do. The yellow pizza with yellow tomato sauce is the best. 10/10 recommend

We came upon this bar on friday night, drawn by music thumping and enjoyed it - great electronic music, people dancing and having fun, helpful staff!

Warning: this is not your average review. We got married at Yellow House and honestly? 11/10, would marry each other here again. The food—incredible. Guests wouldn’t stop talking about it. They picked natural wines we actually love (no sad Chardonnay here) and poured custom cocktails during cocktail hour like it was their life’s calling. Planning was almost suspiciously chill—staff were laid-back in the best way, somehow managing to discuss every detail without making us feel like we were negotiating a UN peace treaty. Day-of? Everything just… happened. Perfectly. Like magic. The venue itself? Modern, hip, already gorgeous—zero extra decor needed. Saved money, looked amazing. The sound system slapped, the staff kept everyone happy, and we stayed late drinking and boogying like it was the last party on Earth. If you want a wedding venue that’s beautiful, cool, and run by a bunch of stand up people, Yellow House is it.

Cool place, very yellow. Party of 11 and the service was quick and the food was great. Bread with dips, fried chicken and corn. All the way at the top of the yellow stairs.

The atmosphere was great – really had a nice evening. Extra nice that all profits went to a good cause, that gives the whole experience something extra. Unfortunately we had to wait 40 minutes for our burger and fries, and the burger was a bit burnt on the outside. Fortunately the taste made up for a lot; the food was tasty after all. The beautiful lighting and good music contributed to the nice atmosphere. I will definitely come back!

We had a pleasant evening, the terrace atmosphere is great, service was okay but I was disappointed by the food and wine selection. They all were mediocre with the exception of the main dish with the bird but that was also a small portion. I was also disappointed how low effort the appetizers and dessert was :/

It’s a unique place in Amsterdam not know by many, definitely worth to try the Friday & Saturday parties. The only downside is the place shuts down at 3 o’clock but still amazing!

Amazing place with extremely accomodating hospitality and staff, they help you and consider all your requests whenever possible and make you at ease. The place has good views, perfect terrace for a sunny day and made my bday very special. A big thank you. I will recommend this place everyone to check out.

Quite far away but this place has a great vibe

The location is nice, but the music way too loud during dinner. We had to shout over the table the entire time. The food was ok, but pretty basic. The club part was also not my vibe, perhaps it’s a better location for summer when you can enjoy the terrace.

Finding Yellow House in Amsterdam was a bit of a challenge, as it is upstairs of a plaza and the sign is not readable at night . Once inside, the ambiance seemed promising with its unique decor. However, the experience quickly turned underwhelming. The food was passable - nothing to write home about but decent enough for a bar setting. Sadly, the wine selection left much to be desired, bordering on awful, which was disappointing for an establishment in a city known for its eclectic food and drink scene. Additionally, the upstairs area had an unpleasant odor that detracted significantly from the overall ambiance. Considering the price point, which was steep relative to the quality of food and drink, the value just wasn't there. For the cost and the effort to find it, Yellow House unfortunately falls short of providing a satisfying experience.

What a cool place. Super nice bartender/host, very tasty food, relaxed atmosphere. Not just a place to eat, but also a place to simply enjoy yourself. Too bad I live far away, otherwise I would definitely come there more often.

Unfortunately had a bad experience this summer I had booked a wrong day and then right after I called up and the guy on the phone told me it was okay andto just remind with an email the name and. Later few hours later I saw I got charged anyway. I sent an email asking about that to Yellowhouse following that never got a reply from them.

I reserved a standing snack menu dinner for 27 people and was only given a tiny table in a corner. Do not recommend for large groups!

An after party Bar, the music is loud and there is a constant mist in the environment, love it 🔥. FLORIS show me the place and where to go for a VIP feeling. He is the man in this place to hang with.

The waiters were really lovely but some orders were mixed up / forgotten and I did get my wine in a water glass which was odd. My food order was forgotten, so the rest of my party has already eaten when my dish arrived. The falafel burger was decent. Afterwards the place is quite the booming fun club!

Cool atmosphere and nice music. Even though the volume was high for the music it didn’t interrupt the conversation since the speakers were top notch.

Just wanted to say that the birthday dinner at Yellow House Amsterdam was absolutely amazing! The tables, food, and service were all incredible. They were so helpful and the food was super tasty. Plus, starting the music at 7 really set the perfect ambiance for a night of partying. So glad we shared our special moment there! I went for a quick bite during my lunch break. Cool terrace to eat outside if there's good weather. The staff is friendly. Simple menu yet suitable for both, vegetarians and meat eaters. I tried the chicken spicy burger and it was nice, however the dishes are on the pricey side, as burgers i.e. don't come with any fries or side dish at all, it's just the plain bun.

Vanmiddag een fantastische cheeseburger met friet, twee bier en een yellow cocktail gedronken. We zijn ontzettend hartelijk opgevangen door de ober. Het is ook mega chill om even een rondje te lopen langs de kade. We zijn met een lach binnengekomen en met een glimlach naar huis gegaan… net vakantie dit. Ga zo door!!

Diner review: The location and decoration inside are nice, staff was friendly, and good burgers BUT the loud music during diner time is really not necessary (turn it down a bit!! We all had a sore throat after a while ...and anyway at 8pm, there was no-one on the dancefloor) And when counting the booking of 10 euros per person, it ends up a 35 E/ person for burgers and fries!! - really expensive
