Good food, but it does feel like a take out store with all the people from thuisbezorgd.

The food here is absolutely amazing, we had a beef massaman and a tofu massaman which were delicious. I think it's more of a takeaway place, there are tables to dine-in but you can tell they prioritise the takeaways, which is understandable!

Good portions, curries nice and thin (authentic), but tasted rather bland. The red curry was just as mild as the Massaman curry. The Massaman curry tasted very similar to the red curry. It had four hard, factory-made potatoes in it. So I'll skip the Masaman next time. Too bad.

Mixed feeling for my first time at this place. Great reviews, excellent feedback by some regulars met while there. But once in the restaurant, what a chaos! We arrive at 18.05 and have a table. There's immediately a long line of delivery guys picking up food and it's not clear who had the priority, them or the other guests. We order a beer and a starter, then 2 main dishes. After nearly two hours we only have received the starter -while having other drinks- everyone else have been served, and the driver are uncontable. I complain about the missing food and only then the order makes it to the chef. Not even some courtesy chips to apologise, although explecitely suggested as we were starving. Finally the food arrive: one dish out of the two we ordered. Deliciously tasty, by but can the good quality be enough when everything in the logistics fails?

Zap za Thai doesn't even need my review, but it absolutely has to be shared. While eating, I immediately thought: my brother has to come here. Funnily enough, he's the one who traumatized me with Thai food during our first vacation with our father. Because of that, I've hardly dared to eat Thai food since then. I already know First through work; she brought me food once, and it was delicious. She encouraged me to try the Thai fish cakes: "I think they're really good." And she was right! They were just the right size, small, and perfectly seasoned. You can taste the freshness immediately, even the long beans. On my way to a facial, I happened to pass by, and the temptation was too strong to pass by. No regrets, on the contrary! I even tried the fried ice cream, which I'd never done before, and what a surprise. The sauces are homemade, you can taste that immediately; nothing bottled. The fish cakes were gone so quickly that I felt a pang of regret... not because they weren't delicious, but because I craved more. Next time, it won't be just the fish cakes; there will be a main course and that fried ice cream again. The visit was spontaneous and completely unplanned, but sometimes those are the best experiences. When my brother hears I secretly went without him... it almost feels like he's been cheated on. Hahaha! In short: highly recommended. Until next time, First!

I don’t get the good reviews. Ordered Phaneang curry and got runny, non spicy and bland red curry with tough chicken that tasted off. Even the rice was overcooked and bland. Soup also lacked flavour and herbs. One of the bad thai places this city has!

Most Thai dishes come with pre-included shrimp paste, hence that makes veggie options limited. But they accommodated our request and made some veg dishes without shrimp paste. The taste was out of the world!! Definitely recommended

First address in sight if you want to eat Thai in Amsterdam. Wide choice of meals, very hearty. I left the restaurant with a more than full stomach, it was clearly indulgence. Top service 👍🏼

Flavors are mild but pleasant. More protein can be added to the dishes. The curries are extremely watery. Too little coconut milk is used, or it is diluted too much with water. It's like eating a soup instead of a curry. For the prices they charge, over 65 euros for 3 dishes, you can really expect better food.

Do not order at this restaurant. I had to wait for 1,5 hour before the food got delivered and it arrived cold.

Surprisingly good thai food. The restaurant is small and looks like it was an office space previously thats been converted into a restaurant. Ambience wise there not much. But service is very friendly and the food quality price and taste is great. Flavours are more authentic then most other thai restaurants. The green curry actually has flavour and isn't super sweet!!

Great neighborhood place for take away or a cosy, no frills dine-in experience. Ingredients felt fresh and I had the best Pad Thai (outside of Thailand) that I’ve had in years. Service was attentive and kind.

Amazing food! Cute little place, nice staff and cozy atmosphere. We had the Phad Thai Talee and the Tom Kha Kai and it was delicious. Authentic and delicate flavours. Really loved the Thai milk tea too!

Go for it with your eyes closed! I chose this place by looking at Google during my 3 day stay in Amsterdam. And after visiting it I couldn't not give it a 5 star and a comment. It's a small family restaurant. Pleasant service, the dishes are very very good and very well served! I recommend 100%!

We're "out of towners" but wanted something small and local. The host/server was so kind, not just to us but all patrons. My son was impressed by her memory and I loved that she offered thai spicy for my meal. The restaurant was warm, inviting but can fill fast as there are just a few tables (very typical/understandable). The food was delicious, so flavorful! Even though the portions were generous, it was so good that we ate it all. I definitely recommend! And thank the staff for an enjoyable meal.

We had the Phad Thai, laab Kai and the seafood red curry….all were great! Friendly service too. Restaurant is cosy and I love that it’s my neighbourhood!

Divine massaman meal, super sweet staff, highly recommended

Came with 3 colleagues for dinner. It's good to have a lovely restaurant away from the center and more in the southern part of Amsterdam. It was a very pleasant dining experience. The food was good but I think it could use a bit more kick with spice. But that may be because I am Asian and used to stronger flavors. But it was just perfect for my Congolese and Australian colleagues. Appreciate the warm and efficient service too. I encourage everyone to check it out.

A first for us and quite frankly GO FOR IT! A wide choice on the menu offered. Fast (we were surprised) and the food is really tasty and delicious. Amazing experience I highly recommend it; you will not be disappointed. Good value for money.

Ordered on their own website. It was fast to pick up, I arrived early and was already there for me. The packaging was also in foil so kept perfect heat. The flavours were really great and authentic in both the dishes I ordered, I got the prawn pad Thai and chicken cashew nuts. It was a cute cosy place, would definately order again! Perfect portions, maybe can save a couple bites for the next day too!

The most delicious Thai food I’ve had in the Netherlands! We found this quite by mistake as it was getting late and this was close to our hotel. I come to amsterdam regularly for work, so eat out a lot and Thai food is my favourite, and this was really the best. We had Tom Kha, Pad Thai, Phanaeng curry and tofu satay and for two people it was a lot, very good value for money, but so delicious we finished it all! The waitress was also really lovely. We will definitely come back. Thank you so much!

Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. First and foremost the food is the best Thai I’ve ever had, secondly the delivery driver was super delayed and they made my food again to make sure it was warm. 10:10 would recommend to anyone! Only reason I would ever give bad remarks is so it doesn’t get too popular so I can keep going:)

It is a quiet and cozy place to have a delicious meal. We ordered the Pad Thai and Red Curry. The quantity of a dish, is a good portion, sufficient for one person, though my husband and I could not finish our order. The lady was kind to let us opt out the shrimps from the Pad Thai; and choose our preferable meats instead. The food was served pretty quick after our order. The restaurant felt very homely. Will definitely go back for more.

Really small new shop with amazing authentic thai food! Absolutely recommend to stop by and try some! Tofu Pad Thai couldve used a little more flavour the shrimp pad thai was perfect! All in all absolute recommandation.
