Delicious, flavorful food. Highly recommend the meat platter. All the meats were well seasoned and tender. The fries were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The salad was good too.

Doner meat comes cold from a container and is heated under the grill. That has nothing to do with fresh doner. Very bad.

Terrible ordering experience via Thuisbezorgd, waited 1.5 hours, and ordered 70 euros worth of goods, of which 10 euros was ice cream, and not even the right thing we ordered. The fries were cold and the Lachmacun too. Extremely bad experience! And on the phone, they were curt and hung up almost immediately.

The phone was hung up on. Subsequently, I was served a kapsalon with way too much garlic sauce, had to wait a long time, and was not served in a friendly manner. A waste of money and effort.

We both ate wraps. 1 with hot wings, and 1 with falafel>>both highly recommended. The wraps were fresh, the chicken was nice and tender, and it has been a long time since I ate such delicious fresh falafel.

A restaurant that holds a special place in my heart. A place where you can get the tastiest doner box in Amsterdam, and a drink with it too. Friendly staff, good service, and right next to Artis to boot. You can have a whole day of fun within a 100m radius.

A great little Turkish shop that is open late everyday! Chicken burger was pretty good but nothing too special. Chips and the salad cup were nice.

Live around the corner from here and sometimes get the wraps or a Turkish pizza. The owners are kind and welcoming, and this has been my go-to when in need! When you have your food dine in, they bring you extra garlic sauce.

We ordered here. The burgers were delicious. Only the fries felt like they had been fried twice and were old. I would definitely order the burgers again, but not the fries.

Authentic Germany doner experience. I got the doner box and it is almost comparable to the Doner boxes in cologne, Munich, Frankfurt, and Berlin. I almost cried as the whole experience of the staff to the food really reminded me of my time in Germany! 10/10, would come back if I was local

Pretty nice staff, pretty good pricing. I asked if they had a broodje kroket (a Dutch classic) and they said yes, so I ordered it. I was served a kroket that was lukewarm on the outside and cold/frozen on the inside, inside a plain cut open pita bread. They only said yes to my question to get my money but didn't actually know what I ordered, and then even managed to screw up a simple kroket.

This place will save your life deep into the night, without having to sacrifice on taste. They use fresh ingredients and know how to make amazing food. These guys are not playing. As to the haters, this is not the kind of place to expect sit-down restaurant service. The people are respectful and dedicated to serving good food. This is above and beyond any of the hundreds of shoarma or döner places in Amsterdam. The difference in taste is clear.

I asked for the bathroom while i was looking at the menu and he says “ok 1€” then i told him that i wanted to order so i didnt pay… but asking 1€ for the bathroom??? I call it alienation. Then i order a wrap with falafel and the only ingredients he has are salad and onions (not even tomatoes😭😭). Falafel were good tho, thats why the second star

Good kebab although maybe a little expensive?

Ordered a döner wrap, and they brought it with pita bread. They simply put it on the table even though we told them we hadn't ordered it. The pita bread was incredibly dry. The sandwiches weren't very filling. I wouldn't eat here again.

Prices are not right Turkish pizza that is colder than the cans in the fridge while I bake it I have eaten more sauce than Turkish pizza and antisocial seller who is just in Dutch and does not even speak the language I will never eat here again

I bought Turkish pizza here recently and I ended up with more sauce than Turkish pizza and the pizza wasn't crispy either while I clearly stated that I wanted it crispy. The employee was also very antisocial in this experience.

I am going here a lot (probably more than I should ;))! The food (in my case Turkish pizza) is always fresh and delicious and I am always greeted with a smile and warm hospitality. If you crave for a nice Kebab or Turkish Pizza, you will 100% enjoy 👍🏻

The food was really good, and the place was quiet when we sat down and stayed that way through the entire experience. My family had Döner type foods, except for one of us who had a burger. The staff served us quickly, and they spoke English quite well.

1) The kebab was not there and the meat was not cooked in some places 2) the kebab man has already cut the meat off the spit, even though there is no customer 3) the bread was not warmed up/crispy 4) there were no real sauces 5) the fries were so bad that they even tasted better from the supermarket 6) the food does not swim to the digestive tract

Staff do not care about service. Food is not what is advertised over priced would never go there again came away very disappointed very small portion for the price we were served the 2 shrivelled up kebabs and less than 10 chips and some chopped up lettuce advertising as salad They are clearly just money grabbing from travelers who go in and order food expecting a nice meal so I would not go there again did not take a photo which I should have done sorry

A solid four. Dressed up like a warm galley. Shawarma slides well into the throat tube. Free coca cola classification. Ketchup = sambal, possibly brown rain in the toilet universe. Long waiting time, night bus almost missed. You watched Kebabland the World of Meaty Wonders again, which kebab place should we try next (Argentinians are also allowed this time)? I don’t even want to give any single star because the dining experience was too awful. I just went for dinner tonight, at the beginning, everything was ok to me until the server who wear black shirt gave me a bad attitude. When he served the food to me at the table, I just asked whether I need to take the drinks by myself as I ordered a meal with a drink. However, he misunderstood me, he thought I was going to take away, so he took the food back and going to pack the food to takeaway package. So when I saw it, l realized he misunderstood, so I went to the counter to stop him and said again my question, but his face looked like angry and pretended he didn’t hear it because he said nothing and taking my food back to the plate. So I just tried to say again, and he answered me with a coldest face and tone and took the food to me at the same time. Because of his bad attitude, it made the food worse that I would never ever go back again.

The food was amazing with extremely reasonable prices and the people working there very friendly and always with a smile. In a lot of Central European countries you can find Turkish style restaurants and they almost never disappoint. Would recommend for sure!!

Awful they did not take the right order charged me 30 euro for nothing I asked for complained and was ignored stay away!

Unfortunately the first and last time. 1 sandwich not included and could not be delivered. Then they just hung up. Lost 8 euros. The Turkish pizzas were drenched in sauce, half of them was thrown away. Next time back to the best in the middle!

Don't go there! 21 euros for a fried chicken burger from the snack bar, outrageous. They use the cheapest ingredients and then place a piece of watermelon and orange on each plate, as if that makes the food tastier. Interior is old and it doesn't look like a real restaurant. In short, save your money and find another location!

As an American, I now know the magic of a late night donner place.
