Last night, we enjoyed a fantastic 5-course surprise menu at Bij Vrienden with friends. WOW!!! We discovered a gem in the restaurant world. The dinner is truly fantastic in every way and flavor. With a service that showcases the kitchen team's outstanding performance with spontaneity and enthusiasm, Bij Vrienden embodies the quality of a Michelin-starred restaurant, but at fair prices and a pleasant, informal atmosphere. The wonderful hostess is a fantastic woman 😉 who makes everything a truly wonderful experience.

Exceptional place. A greenhouse and a garden area. Friendly service. We ate a delicious vegan burrito and delicious vegan aioli.

We don't often write reviews, but we wanted to share this experience. Upon arrival, we had brought our own drinks (three cans of Steltz), which we briefly placed on the bar while placing our order. Shortly after, they suddenly disappeared. When we asked the staff where our things had gone, they looked at us as if nothing had happened. They then said the drinks might have been taken by a group of girls sitting at a table outside. A little later, however, a staff member came out to inform us that the cans were suddenly back on the counter. We felt utterly ripped off.

The ice cream is fine, but wow, the scoops are small and expensive.

We got pastries here twice during our vacation. And they were absolutely delicious!! Truly the best pastries we've ever tasted. And everything is homemade. The service in the shop was also incredibly friendly. A business Vlissingen and Zeeland can be very proud of! We'll definitely be back when we're on vacation here again.
