This is the mercure restaurant. It has been renamed to 'at west'
I am giving this place a 5 star rating just to bring the average up. It's probably worth 4 but certainly not 2 stars! Food was solid and the drinks were nice. The staff were friendly. This is no Michelin star but cmon, it's not a 2 star 🤣
If you're staying at the hotel, I would go here with no hesitation.
Bunch of losers. Ordered 26 oliebollen, the lady puts a whopping 21 in the bag. Great job. And yes, paid for 26. By the way, they are tasty oliebollen.
Decent cafe in the sports hall, good price.
A major downside is that the man behind the bar has absolutely no desire to do his job. He is rude to customers, and his own colleague doesn't think that's okay either.
Here you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea in a peaceful setting. Cake is also available. You can enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee or tea, or enjoy a piece of pie or cake.
They used to always open nice and early. Now it says 6:30, but that's incorrect. The point of a location at the station, I think, is so people can grab a sandwich before work. This is no longer possible for early workers.
Edit: It seems to be opening earlier again in the last year or so, so it's only fair to update my review accordingly. The staff is also friendly and they're always quick. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up considerably.
with my son, they were rude, they don't want us in their bar, the boss make me pay a lot and without receipt, the only bad place i visited in Amsterdam
