This is not like what review say, the owner may looks like they arent happy or has a poker face but they are definitely welcoming and give good service. The food is great and the chef cooks really well. Good price for portion and good taste also!
A new year off to a bad start!đĄ
This New Year's Eve, I was looking for a tasty snack to satisfy my relentless hunger. I thought I'd finally struck gold with the City Snack, but to my surprise, the atmosphere and service were utterly rude and shoddy. I still thought maybe the food was better than the people working here, but no, it was utterly disgusting. So, if you're a self-respecting person, don't go here.
What a terrible bakery!
If you have no taste, go to Vonken! What cheap, factory-made junk.
And then there's the often grumpy staff.
Honestly, it couldn't be worse.
This place should close, the food is very bad and the service is non-existent, it could be better with New York Pizza. With new staff, the pizzas taste like junk, there is clearly no love for this place.
Great food&service! We saw too late that the online service was exclusively take away but got a call back from the employee. She then came over personally to bring us the food, which was extraordinary nice, really appreciate that! Pls go there and enjoy!
This place is inside market 33 it's like a food court. Walk to the end.
First time visit. We both love Thai food and were pleasantly surprised. One of the better Thai food places in Amsterdam. Very busy round lunch time. So prepare for that. But it was worth the wait. We ordered some meal to take home for dinner also.
One of the worst food experiences Iâve ever had. I ordered a âhamburgerâ and they charged me âŹ19 for something that wasnât even close. When I questioned it, the guy pointed at a random picture on the wall and insisted that was a hamburgerâeven though it clearly isnât. The picture even shows tomato, but I didnât get any. When I asked why, he literally said, âWe donât put it.â So why show it then? Completely misleading.
The food was awful, the attitude was worse, and the whole thing felt like a deliberate scam. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs.
On a scale of 10, it gets a 7. We ate with 6 people, and 2 of the pizzas were rather blandly seasoned. All 4 pizzas were tasty. We personally like the thin crust. The staff is friendly. The pizza price is relatively low.
It used to be a good bakery, but now it's a complete mess (not even worthy of being called a Moroccan bakery).
Several times, the little children who work there (among others) gave me stale bread. Once, I even bought 10 loaves for a special occasion. When I tried to serve it, it turned out to be stale bread from the day before (I was mortified). The next day, I complained to the owner, and his response was: "Sorry, those kids are making a mess of things here."
A while later, I went back, but this time for pastries. When I got home, they were inedible and looked like they were from a few days ago (the smell of the refrigerator).
A while later, I went for the cookies. It was a jackpot. I paid for them, comparable to other cookie shops. When I got home (had a visitor), they were so soft they fell apart, and I was mortified. After a while, I thought I'd give these guys another chance today. I got two loaves of bread and was helped by a kid around 15 years old. There was no bread left on the shelf, so he went inside. After a few minutes (which I thought was taking too long), he returned with a stack of loaves and put them on the shelf. I got my two loaves, and when I got home for dinner, it turned out the one was from yesterday. It had fallen apart and had clearly been in the freezer all night.
Disgraceful.
I tried calling, but no one answered.
Never again at this stall; it's not worthy of a Moroccan bakery. It should close.
