De beste restaurants in Amsterdam

It's a shame that a lot was already sold out at a normal time. Besides that, the service was really great.

I come here every year for ADE. Great vibe, friendly and fast service despite the crowds. The doormen, coat check, and cleaners do a fantastic job! I also come here regularly for drinks. Wonderfully peaceful spot in the busiest part of the city. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for delicious cocktails (shhh...don't tell anyone ;)

Too bad that if the sandwich of the day isn't available, they'll sell you a more expensive one...

I was visiting from New York and happened to stumble upon this gem on their Salsa night! The bar tenders were super friendly and made great conversation. The music was on point and I even got to chat with the owner for a bit, lovely person. If you’re in Amsterdam and want to catch a vibe, I would definitely check this spot out!

Personally, I enjoyed the ice cream, but the price on the sales board is quite misleading. It clearly says €4.50 for two scoops, but it turns out to be €0.70 more for many flavors... that's what it says in small print on the bottom right of the board. MISLEY.

Posh and quiet bar/bistrot with an amazing italian bartender. Must taste his own signature invention: the thyme spritz!

Excellent service, delicious food, 100% recommended

A very nice, quaint, and cozy pub. We received a very friendly and welcoming welcome and immediately struck up pleasant conversations with the owners and locals. We didn't eat there, and due to the weather, we couldn't use the outdoor terrace by the water.

Bravo for this superb place designed with children in mind! We had a wonderful time with our children, who were able to choose and cook their own food, and play both indoors and outdoors. A real gem! ❤️

Ordered again this week and it's just like old times. Babi pangang, tjap tjoy, foeyonghai—so delicious. Generous portions in the usual containers, and this time with a surprise. Delivery was excellent and fast. We'll definitely be ordering this again, and Orient has another regular customer.
