Agabi Santa Maria in Nieuwmarkt/Lastage

I passed this restaurant alot, when I'm on my way from and to the city,when I stop on Waterlooplein, and now my wife and I decided to try it out. The welcome was friendly, there is a good choice of dishes, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We both choose the enchilada, and it was really tasty and nice. Further there is not much to tel about it, then it was a pleasant place to eat.

No estaba seguro si este restaurante estaría abierto para NYE '25. Reservado en línea y mesa segura de última hora. Llegamos para encontrarnos los únicos comensales a las 5 - 6 pm. Lo que es un restaurante maravillosamente presentado y el servicio del personal / propietarios. ¿Te preocupa por qué éramos los únicos comensales? La comida estaba servida y era absolutamente fabuloso. Muy sabroso. Nosotros (los australianos) encontramos este restaurante mexicano / argentino para ser uno de los mejores que hemos comido. Tal vez este restaurante prospera en las cenas de Ballet & Opera y en NYE no hubo espectáculo nocturno, por lo tanto, por qué podemos haber sido los únicos comensales. Recomiendo encarecidamente Agabi Santa Maria para satisfacer su antojo de comida mexicana mientras está en Amsterdam. Este restaurante merecía más clientes.

the food was really tasty, the waiting didn't take too much time especially looking at how much we've ordered. the atmosphere was cozy and the service was really nice and sweet!

We haven't eaten so well in a restaurant for a long time. Everything was fresh and delicious, great service and our daughter was rewarded with an ice cream sundae on the house! Highly recommended when visiting Amsterdam

Amazing Argentinian steak. Got there really delicious tender meat and nacho's. Closed the night off with the most delicious Margarita cocktail. close to the city centre and the public transport. Highly recommended!

We had dinner here yesterday, we were helped very friendly, received a clear explanation about the food, he talked about his dishes with great passion. We both had a rib-eye 300 gr medium rare. This dish was very tasty. Only personally I thought the fries were not well done, the fries were done, but not crispy. For me it was really about the meat, rather than the fries. All in all, you really get your money's worth! Now we also had one advantage that we could sit outside, which made the atmosphere extra good for us. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! I will definitely visit again!

The staff was always attentive to my needs and made sure my experience was as pleasant as possible. Ahabi Santa Maria has - in my opinion - the nicest steak that I have ever had in my life. We were recommended Ahabi Santa Maria's steaks from Google, as we were in the area we thought why not, upon entering a lovely lady greeted us and took us to our table, she was delightful throughout. Took our orders promptly. The food was delicious, the best steak I have ever had by miles. The dessert was delicious too, and the prices were reasonable. The customer service here is unlike anywhere else. Truly brilliant.

The food is well prepared. It tastes great and is of normal quality. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. The drinks are great! Jarritos soda! Texel beer, especially the Texel non-alcoholic beer. Lots of choice.

Op loopafstand van Carré. Beetje rommelig restaurant. Te luide en drukke muziek. Vriendelijke bediening maar matig eten. Spareribs erg klein en duur en zonder friet. Kipfilet erg mals en lekker. Sobere borden.

Ci siamo state ieri sera io e mia madre. I proprietari davvero cordiali e carini. Abbiamo mangiato due piatti davvero gustosi e la carne davvero molto molto buona. Consiglio vivamente soprattutto perché i proprietari adorano l'Italia e con gli italiani cercano di farsi capire. Sicuramente per il prossimo viaggio lo terrò in considerazione perché ci siamo proprio trovate bene. Molto consigliato. Top notch steaks, soft and tasty corn on the cob, served by the authentic and likable owners. Price/Performance absolutely ok. Ask for the VIP-Tequila to start and have a Margarita (or two).
