In principle nice place but my husband had a pebble in his food and chipped his tooth, the staff didn’t even apologies. Food was tasty otherwise but nothing special, there was a huge spider above our table and the non alcoholic drink tasted artificial and it was supposed to be natural based beverage.

Excellent food, with amazing service and cozy environment.

i really loved this place and in my opinion is one of the best Lebanese restaurants in amsterdam.

Coming from the Middle East I might be slightly biased, but I didn’t like the food at all. Clearly there was no love in the falafel. The salade consisted of some sad lettuce, one sorry slice of tomato and a strange-colored dressing. The hummus was a downright insult to hummus lovers. The wine…don’t get me started. Again, I might not be the most objective person to write a review, but there are other places in Amsterdam where delicious Middle Eastern food is served and for a MUCH fairer price

Very cosy Lebanese restaurant with a very home-like feeling to it. The food is delicious and ordering a mezze set to share with Arti'fris (rosewater lemonade) is something I would strongly recommend!

Amazing food for a very good price. The personnel also was very very kind. I was suffering from pollen allergy when i arrived and they offered me a orange blossom remedy...that worked!!!!

The food was very good. The restaurant is in a quit place with seats inside and outside. What really stands out is the kindness of the owners & personnel…something not to be taken for granted these days. We’ll come back for sure!

Onverwacht hier terecht gekomen, op aanraden van vriendin. Het eten was zalig, zo smaakvol gekruid! De eigenaar heeft ons een waar feestmaal voorgezet!! We komen daar zeker nog eens terug!!

Zanimljiv restoran koji po ambijentu kao da je iz nekog drugog vremena, za nas koji smo odrasli na balkanu sigurno će vas podsjetit na onu ćevabdžinicu gdje je vrijeme stalo. Usluga je pristojna i pristupačna, konobar će rado s vama prokomentirati cijeli meni a i pića. Hrana je dobra, posebno nam se dojmio meze dok je glavno jelo bilo li-la.

We had such a great meal here. We were so stuck for what to have and our lovely host said, 'I'll just make you some food.' So he did and it was amazing. Lovely hospitality and very friendly.

Probably the best restaurant I have been to in all of Amsterdam, or even the Netherlands. The staff was very friendly and funny, and the delectable, delicious and heavenly food was served unbelievably fast (within 20 minutes of ordering). This is a must-know place, for sure.

Hele prettige en huiselijke sfeer. Authentiek Libanees eten geserveerd door een familie die het restaurant meer dan 40 jaar runt. Was er vandaag na een aantal jaar weer met familie en de sfeer is nog steeds heel fijn en het eten erg lekker. De eigenaar, Simon, een lieve man die ook nog steeds altijd in het restaurant aanwezig is. Ik zie dit graag ipv elke zoveel maanden weer een andere werknemer. Tot snel maar weer!

leuk, aardige bediening maar fors over priced. eten was prima maar staat niet in verhouding tot menu prijs van 65 euro voor 2 personen.zou aanraden om zelf gerechten te kiezen.

I heard this is an Amsterdam institution for Middle Eastern food and we came to try it out. A main course plate costs €20. Food was good, I found the hummus too light in flavor but the shish taouk was just incredible. Epic!

The food was good, as was the service. Ordering the mezze menu will fill you up! Looking at other similar restaurants I think the prices could be a little bit lower. Especially the baklava/halva desserts were in my opinion a little overpriced (€7,00) when looking at the portion size (2 small pieces (but still delicious)). I think €4,50 - €5,00 would better reflect the dessert. One thing I really liked was the dolmades, which were hand-made; most restaurants take them from the can. Overall I had a really good experience!

You cannot pay with card/ pin, but they don’t mention this till you need to pay. A broken pin machine apparently also means that there is no till because the bill was also handwritten. They overcharged us with the wine and then said it’s because we got a special bottle that’s not on the menu (sure!). When we asked for some tap waiter w the red wine they said they don’t serve it “because of covid”… The food was okay, the interior is cozy, it could be a great place if the staff wasn’t petty and try to scam guests for €5 extra. We would have returned if it wasn’t for this but now we surely never will.

Geweldige avond gehad! Ontzettend vriendelijke en persoonlijke bediening in dit authentiek aanvoelende restaurant. Het eten zelf is ook erg lekker, alleen de kruiden waarmee de gerechten zijn bereid zijn al een reden om hier terug te komen. Ik kan zeker aanraden om hier te gaan eten!

Vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk en eerlijk eten

This is a nice and cosy family-owned restaurant. Situated right in between the Sarphatipark and the Albert Cuypmarkt, it has a nice outside terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding. Had a great evening here. Only point of critique: try to make the terrace a little more attractive with some decoration and better furniture. Recommended!

My sister, grandmother, and I had a great time at Artist! The host was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. It was our first time eating Lebanese food and the host gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Amsterdam. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Super Essen, lecker und authentisch. Gemütliches kleines Lokal :)

Heel mooi interieur, goede sfeer. Eten was prima. Ik vond de porties van de menu's een beetje klein.

Gedateerd en het eten niet vers. De kip was wel lekker.
