Server was a bit rude, but I guess she was stressed. Food was okay, quite tasty but not great quality/freshness. Portion was way too small for the price. There are definitely better places to eat around the area imo.

Have experienced Lebanese food in many places in the world. It was great to try the dutch version. Was one of the best meals I had while in Amsterdam.

As Lebanese, we were excited to try Dabka Restaurant, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. The food was average, and the service was even worse. The waiters were rude, and we had to ask for basic things like pita bread and ketchup instead of them being served with the meal. Lebanese hospitality is just as important as the food, and sadly this restaurant failed on both. We expected a much more authentic experience and wouldn’t recommend it.

As Lebanese customers, we were very disappointed. I specifically asked if the chicken was charcoal-grilled, and the waitress said yes. What we received was clearly gas-grilled chicken. When I pointed this out, instead of apologizing or offering a solution, she simply said, “Come next time and order something else.” Misleading customers and dismissing their concerns is unacceptable. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Everything was seasoned perfectly according to the recipe, and the meat was incredibly tender. We especially recommend the "Mezza Mix" (appetizer platter) and the Shish Taouk (grilled chicken marinated in yogurt). We haven't eaten this well in a long time! You sit right in the city center by the water. The service was excellent, and the food arrived quickly :) If you want good Lebanese food, you have to go to Dabka!

During Amsterdam visit we find this amazing restaurant behind the St Nicholas Church and the Lebanese food was great, we had the chance to taste multiple dishes, and for us the best was the meatballs with tomato, however every other dish was also taste great. The portions big expect a hearty plate. The atmosphere nice with the canal, and by the welcoming family who runs the restaurant. Service was excellent. During our Netherland visit out of ten restaurants so far the best experience. We wish the best to the Restaurant and to the family from Hungary and hoping we can visit again some day.

Had a great experience at Dabka Amsterdam! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I had the grilled chicken with rice and salad, and everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Definitely a great spot for authentic Middle Eastern food in Amsterdam. I’ll be coming back!

The restaurant staff are very classy, ​​the food is clean and well-organized, and despite the small size of the place, it is spacious and beautiful. It is best to book a table before coming. In the end, it is a wonderful experience and worth not missing.

We came from Miami to Amsterdam and we found this amazing lebense restaurant close to the train Amsterdam central, very fresh a great price in front of the canal. We LOVED IT ! Also the hummus and babaganush was spectacular!! .

Hands down, this is one of the best Lebanese restaurants I’ve visited in Amsterdam. Everything tasted homemade and prepared from scratch, and you could really tell that care went into every dish. The hummus was absolutely incredible—silky smooth, full of flavor, with just the right hint of nuttiness and perfectly balanced seasoning without being overly garlicky. The freshly baked bread was outstanding and paired beautifully with the hummus. We also ordered the mixed meat platter, which was cooked perfectly and offered a great variety of authentic flavors. The staff were warm, welcoming, and gave excellent recommendations that made the meal even better. If you’re looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine made with passion by people from Lebanon, this is a restaurant you shouldn’t miss. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in Amsterdam.

I was honestly desperate for good, flavorful food when I found this place — and it ended up being one of the best meals I’ve had in Amsterdam. The canal view already makes the experience special, but the food is what brought me back again. The first time, I tried the shish tawouq with their absolutely insane tabbouleh. Fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor in a way that instantly reminded me of home. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I came back a second time and brought my Turkish friend who was also desperately craving proper tasty food. This time I had the kebab — and of course, we had to order the tabbouleh again. The portions are generous, everything tastes fresh and well-seasoned, and you can really feel the care in the food. On top of that, they offered us coffee and tea on the house, which made the whole experience feel even more warm and welcoming. You know a restaurant is special when you leave already planning your next visit. Highly recommended if you want authentic, comforting Lebanese food with a beautiful canal-side atmosphere.

I had never tasted meat this good before! It was my first time visiting, I was really surprised by how soft and tender the lamb was. Everything was perfectly grilled, and the salad was amazing too. Meat was tender and juicy. Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Toum was flavorless and had consistency of coconut oil. Not a big fan of fattoush so I won't make any comments besides it was edible. Ambiance outside is perfect. Not a huge fan of businesses that support the occupation, and colonialism -ask me how I know. Probably the first and only business in Amsterdam that asked for a tip. Pricey for what it is (chicken and rice).

We ate at "dabka" today and were absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere was fantastic; we sat outside right by a waterway. The food was incredibly delicious. We had several of the appetizers, the mixed meat platter, and feta cheese. The portion sizes were generous, and we all left feeling full, satisfied, and energized. Highly recommended!

Very good Lebanese restaurant. Good sized plates. My husband had a grilled vegetables dish with salad & chips. I had a halloumi cheese, cheese salad & chips dish. Both very tasty! Our friends shared a mixed grill with salad & rice (they are on Ozempic so didn't need a large meal each). I would recommend this place.

We tried the restaurant upon arriving at Amsterdam Central Station and again upon departure, and both experiences were wonderful. The restaurant's location overlooking the canal, the excellent service from Abu Daaboul and the young Syrian man, and the food were delicious and generously portioned. Authentic Lebanese food should come from authentic Lebanese hospitality. Unfortunately, this restaurant markets itself as Lebanese while none of the staff appear to be Lebanese, and the overall experience did not reflect Lebanese cuisine or culture. The food quality was disappointing, lacked authenticity, and did not meet expectations at all. Service and atmosphere were average, but the food itself was the biggest issue. I would not recommend this place if you are looking for a genuine Lebanese dining experience.

Today we had lunch at the Lebanese restaurant DABKA, a very nice place near the central train station. The staff was very welcoming. The chicken was excellent, and the falafel was very good for a reasonable price. Keep up the good work, it's perfect! It should also be noted that the bread is made in-house, whole wheat with less salt and sugar.

It is one of the best mediteranean restaurant, located in the city center, and in the summer they have a nice outdoor seating. Meats are good and they have a good fresh bread made on the spot. They have also excellent service.

A Lebanese restaurant. The owner is usually present. The food is fresh and delicious. We ordered lamb chops and kebabs (they gave us meat skewers instead of kebabs), falafel, hummus, and tabbouleh. My rating: The food was very delicious except for the meat skewers, which were just okay. The tabbouleh was very fresh and delicious with the hummus. Overall, the restaurant is delicious and worth trying; I recommend it.

*Got send away* Me and my friend got send away because we wanted to drink a lemonade, the woman waitress said ‘hmmm no…’ when we said what drinks we wanted. It was a total rude way to say. Outside this restaurant I saw plenty of people with drinks only, it was bizarre we got send away.
