I never write reviews, but this was truly awful. The service was terrible. They delivered the wrong orders several times. The starter had just been served, and then the main course arrived. The prices don't reflect the value for money. 40 euros for a mixed grill, while the local Asian store is better and half the price. Finally, I ended up sick in bed because of the food.

I visited with a group. The service was very poor, and we were charged for items we did not receive. When we raised this issue, the only response we were given was that they would check the camera.

Thanks for all the effort. We went to dinner yesterday with a team of 24 women. The table was already set, and the boys worked hard to get everyone's meals quickly. The food was delicious 😍

Following a visit a week ago, the shared dining area was considered very spacious, and we, in a group of seven women, ordered a shared dining option for four, including two extra boreks and squid rings. Unfortunately, the mezzanines were served just as often as last week, and the hostess was very curt and not at all hospitable. The food tasted average, not exceptional, and the portions for €50 per person were truly tiny. Never again.

We had a lovely meal here before seeing a show at the Meervaart Theater. There were many vegetarian options to choose from. The seemingly unexciting grilled vegetable salad was delicious with a nice dollop of feta cheese. The lentil soup and two eggplant dishes were also fantastic. We capped the meal off with yummy baklava. My wife’s passionfruit mojito was heel lekker and she could drink those all night.

This was a new experience for us. We really liked the food and the service was great. The prices were reasonable compared to the quality.

Worst service ever, the staff were grumpy, scammy, and not friendly at all. We came for dinner with family, and a staff member explained that we could share a meal for two people for €49. In the end, my father paid because he couldn't speak the language and didn't check the receipt. Finally, I saw that they charged €49 per person! I called them, and they said that wasn't the case and didn't admit they were wrong. Ultimately, I was ripped off and overcharged €100.

The service is simply terrible. Our reservation hadn't been processed, and no one greeted us. We were ignored several times. Serving meat AND fish when a vegetarian option was requested is a serious mistake in my opinion. Mistakes were also made with the rest of the order. One of us had to wait a long time for his main course even though we were all already eating. We sat at a table with empty bottles for ages and eventually had to ask for attention to get tea and coffee. Getting the bill wasn't easy either. The food is delicious, but the service, with one exception, was extremely inhospitable. When one of us went to the restroom, he noticed the waitstaff were preoccupied with each other and not looking around the room. The chef does a good job, but the waitstaff isn't managed properly. Who's in charge here? How are they supposed to survive financially with that attitude? The place wasn't exactly full.

We ordered mixed grilled meats for 2 people, which were listed at €49.95, and we ended up paying €49.95 for 2. The bill was very expensive: €99.90... The menu should be clearer; it doesn't make sense to put a price per person when you're ordering a dish to share for 2!

No warm welcome, just pointed to the table. It wasn't busy at all, but not everyone got their dish; we had to ask twice for it for two courses. I found the hummus tasteless and not soft. The bread wasn't cooked properly. The lamb chops had a strong lamb flavor, like some kebabs. It was an aroma where you could still smell the raw meat, let's put it that way. The sea bream was good, as was the lentil soup.

We go to Amsterdam every four summers, but this restaurant is delicious, whether the grills or the salads, it's all wonderful together, and the staff are all respectful without exception. I would like to thank Mr. Shady in particular for his excellent service.
