It was my first experience to try Lebanese food. What a great experience to try in this restuarant. Restaurant was full house but the smile of people who are working there was in their face the whole time. Food was AMAZING. All of it. Thank you Beyrut restaurant team.

Great Lebanese food, and we were impressed by the kindness and professionalism of the waiters.

What a lovely restaurant! I personally love the concept of a few small dishes, allowing you to try different things. There were a few things I could skip, like the potatoes, but the fried dishes, especially the kibe, were truly delicious. The service was friendly and helpful, explaining in detail how everything was prepared. My favorite dish was dessert; this small dish with rice and rosewater was to die for—one of my favorite variations on arroz doce :)

I have eaten at many different Lebanese restaurants over the years so I have a good basis for comparison. The mezza platter that my spouse and I enjoyed at Beyrouth last night was easily amongst the best. The mezza consisted of 10 different dishes and every single one of them was delicious. The service also was very friendly and timely. A local elderly woman sitting at the table next to us remarked that she first came to Beyrouth Restaurant 30 years ago at the insistence of a friend. She said that she enjoyed her experience so much that she has returned to dine here twice a month ever since.

The food was excellent! And the most honest persons are working there too! I forgot my phone with my hotel card into the phone case and not only they confirmed they found it but they even deliver it to my hotel before we got the chance to go back to the restaurant. They wanted to be sure I got it before going back home to Canada. They are going the extra mile and I will recommend them not only for the foods (which again is excellent) but for their humanity! Thank you so much!

Best falafel I’ve ever had! The host is incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the tabbouleh is excellent too.

Authentic, lighthearted, and beautiful restaurant. A family owned business with nothing but warmth and friendliness to offer. Jean-marc had the best way to welcome us and explained the food in a very amusing, professional and engaging way. The food was authentic, it felt homemade, healthy and incredibly tasty. I recommend this place for sure!

The best authentic Lebanese food in the region, very homey atmosphere and the family in charge is the sweetest. Tabboule, batata harra, mixed grill, sambousek , kebbe and much much more made the traditional Leb way. Don t forget to order the rezz b halib(rice pudding) tastes like heaven

The food here was very good. Best falafel I’ve had in a while. We got all the food very fast and for Amsterdam standards it’s affordable. The staff is also very calm and polite. I will definitely come here again! I recommend getting the 10 piece Mezza.

Absolute rip-off, insanely expensive. DO NOT GO. The food was ok, but for a couple of starters for 4 people, which really was not a great deal, we paid almost 90 EUR. We wanted the starter set for 2, but he said they only had 3 of each, and he would prepare 4, so each could have something. And then he made us pay 2 x 45 EUR. Insane

Delicious and authentic. My 3rd time here now. I also came here with a friend from Beyrouth and he confirmed that the food is like a good home cooked meal. Ignore any negative reviews. I am rather picking and it's great here. Highly recommend them.

Beautiful family owned place with delicious middle eastern food that tastes like home. Ordered the Mezza and the grilled Kofta which were really tasty and filling. Would come back again.

It was such a disappointment to come here after having someone recommend it. I had high expectations for the restaurant. We were so hungry and came here for dinner at 8pm, we waited over an over for food and it came out like it was the last scraps for the day. One of us had 5 pieces of meat on a plate and got told that the rest would be coming out as a special. By the time it came out we had already eaten the food. I made sure to get that amount take off for the extra meat that was supposed to be on the meal already. It felt like they forgot about us and it was upsetting. The owner was nice however it doesn’t make up for the lack of love in the food, the amounts and the burnt meat that came out. I’m sorry to review so low but it felt wrong to not mention how this ruined our first night in Amsterdam and it was overpriced for what we were given. We went to go and eat food elsewhere due to being underfed.

A high 2. We had a mezzanine. It was tasty, but nothing special. You're really paying a lot for it. And the price-quality ratio isn't good. That's a real shame.

The location is clear. The place is small. The service is fast. The food is considered very good. It is worth trying.

The food is excellent and the owner is very friendly!

The food is delicious and clean. I ordered shish tawook with potatoes and salad. I also ordered samosas with minced meat, lemon juice, and tabbouleh. I liked all the food and the place has two floors. There are separate bathrooms for men and women, as well as sinks. It was clean. The person who took our order was named Tariq, and he was kind, helpful, and cheerful. The prices are considered average for the country, but the food is worth it.

Nice place, went with some friends and the staff was super nice. Food was decent, we mainly got some appetisers and they were nice. Overall, a decent place to grab some food if you want some Lebanese food.

I have been to this restaurant with my Dutch in-laws, everything was delicious and plentiful. The Lebanese wine was also delicious. Fast and attentive service. The owners were very kind and friendly.

As a Lebanese person, I can honestly say this is the best Lebanese food I’ve had in Amsterdam. It’s a real family business, and you can taste the love and authenticity in every dish. We had the mixed grill and the mezza, and everything was super fresh and full of flavor. The meats were perfect, and the mezza reminded me of home — simple, tasty, and exactly how it should be. If you’re looking for real Lebanese food, this place is a must!

Host/waiter was super nice. However food was disappointing. Lentil soup was ok but kinda bland & needed more spices. Lamb chops were super gamey and fatty. They didn’t have much taste. The Kafta Meshwe also was bland, needed more spice. The host comped us a baklava which was very good not super sweet. Would not go back.

Delicious food, sauces are not all fresh and portions sometimes small. That is not a problem, but the prices are comparable to a restaurant where everything is freshly prepared.

Hands down the best and most authentic Lebanese food in Amsterdam. The personell is incredibly kind and always ready to help, and the prices are very fair. Something that made me smile is that, after an amazing dinner, the waitress came up to us apologizing because the food was only "90% like the one that you can find in Beirut", and I think this says a lot about the high bar they keep in terms of quality. TLDR: A must-try.

Too bad, the cooking was good but the price is truly a scam. Indeed, we paid 69 euros for a vegetarian mezze set for 3 people. It was 44 euros for two people, and 25 euros more for an additional person. However, the quantities were tiny for 3 persons: it was at most for 2. The additional person is more expensive than the 2 persons initially included in the mezze set, but when we compared what we had to the table next to us where they were only two, the quantities were almost the same for every dish (humus, baba ghanouj...). So basically, no difference in the food between 2 and 3 people, except it was 25 euros more (so a significant difference). I advice people to avoid this place, or at least carefully look at the quantities. We really felt scammed and that's shameful to sell such little food for such a price (even with a smile).

What a scam. We ordered the menu with 12 dishes and only got hummus, beans out of a can a parsli salad and some bread from the supermarket. We paid 60 euro for a small appetizers.. next time I will just go to the supermarket and buy this myself

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very outdated, old curtains, everything needs a lick of paint or a total transformation. In short, you don't need the atmosphere, but the food tasted good. For the price it was also fine in Amsterdam

We had a really delicious meal here. The extensive mezze menu was certainly extensive, all tasty and fresh and fortunately ready quickly. The service was friendly and relaxed. The wine was also very tasty. All in all very satisfied. Only the interior is a bit outdated. I would say: go there for dinner together, then there will certainly be money left over to give the restaurant a makeover!

Went here for dinner to show a friend Lebanese food and I couldn't have been happier with it! The staff are so charming and nice, and the food is really great too. We got the meat platter mezze (for one person) and the 6 kebab plate and it was a good amount of food for us. I definitely recommend this place!!

The authentic libaneses food! From the family business that host you with warmth till the dishes that’s has a “grandma” touch. The flavour was really there, the baba ganoush, falafel, labneh and more, well balanced. We choose to have tapas and we tried a bit of everything and was delicious. And they have many vegan options

That was disappointing, such a shame. So many wonderful memories, but this time it was very disappointing. Flat flavors, no difference in taste between humus or baba ganoush to name a few. Dry chicken. Main course was expensive and really not tasty. The oil for the fried dishes was old, oil even squirted from a meatball. QR code to order, so no paper menu. When I said something about it at checkout, a particularly aggressive chef came rushing towards me to start a discussion. There really is no accounting for taste. The bright spot was the man who served us all evening, who was great

Very expensive for what it is. Inside it is dated and not very attractive. Irritating that afterwards they insisted on paying in cash instead of by debit card.

In the Netherlands, it is very rare to find a spot with authentic food and genuine top service, it’s usually either or. Kamal and Tony and their precious father and everyone working there are amazing people. As a Palestinian/Lebanese this is my go to spot when i miss my grandma’s food. It is absolutely delicious. I recommend everything on their menu, but my personal favorite is there Samke Harra 🌶️ 🐟 and there Taboule 🥗 and batata harra 🌶️ 🥔 . The best of the best. The owner of the restaurant is extremely sweet! He cooked some special gluten free food just for me so I could eat mezze with my friend! I'm a celiac and didn't get sick! The food was delicious!!!!

Authentic Lebanese restaurant, the owner is a very kind man that serves you his food very proud and also makes good recommendations. We were 4 people and we had tapas to share. We tried different dishes, all of them AMAZING. My favourites, the hummus, the little "empanadas" (can't remember the right name) and the roasted cauliflower. We will definitely come back.

More than bad and very disappointing what I got for almost 26 Euro. (Online order). I would be very ashamed to offer this (like this). Almost used the word scam. Apart from the delivery (I can still see through that), the food was cold, uninspired, dirty and greasy and paid far too little for the money. A lot has to happen if I ever order here again.

Really original Libanese restaurant in the city center of Amsterdam! We had the 12 Mezze platter which was full of different and very tasty small dishes and a mixed grill portion!We really liked the falafel , hummus and baba ganoush! The owner of the restaurant was also very friendly and hospitable! The atmosphere of the restaurant could be better though.
