Great quality Italian food along with great service. We had burrata, carbonara and ravioli. All were excellent but the ravioli with eggplant was my favourite.

I really like the food and the service is very attentive. The octopus is a must.

On the pricey side for the portion size but obviously quality ingredients and lovely flavoured food … if your hungry will need deep pockets 😜

The best Italian experience of my life, exquisite food with a twist, the dishes are beautifully presented, the carbonara is great, the panna cotta is marvelous, delicious cocktails, the staff is extremely friendly, the bartender Marcos is the best in the world, I would return without hesitation!!

Hands down the best meal we ate in Amsterdam. We are so lucky to stumble on this quaint restaurant near our Airbnb during our time in Amsterdam. Ended our trip with an amazing meal and SERVICE! Highly recommend. Veal was my favorite along with the Falso Limone for desert. 10 out of 10!

Oleg was amazing and took such good care of us! The food was incredible and the restaurant is in a great location! Definitely a must-go-to if you are visiting - we felt if we lived here we would come all the time. We sat at the bar and absolutely loved it. So charming but high-level of service!

Four of us ate here for a special 60th birthday meal for my friend, we are long standing friends from university. We had the most fabulous fun evening. The staff entered into the celebrations, brought a fountain candle in a dessert along with happy birthday music and then gave us vodka ice creams gratis. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the scallops and the lemon dessert was fabulous. Well done Assaggi. Thank you.

Letizia is very welcoming and sweet. She provided great service and was very welcoming. We were vegetarian and Letizia was accommodating. I would highly recommend this place.

In the cutest neighborhood with lots of greenery but a quieter feel compared to the busy parts of Amsterdam. Food menu was small but delicious, and the frozen limoncello was amazing!!

Friendliness, very good Raviolis and the Tiramisu was the best I've ever eaten.

Came here with family. Had the bread, the ravioli and the carbonara. Really good food, beautiful olive oil. Ended with a tiramisu, it was beautiful. Our waitress was this lovely lady with the name Leticia. She was very warm and courteous. Helped us out with the menu and was very sweet to us. Would come again.

A good looking restaurant, but seems to be more of a tourist trap than quality food and service. Ordered starters and mains. Starters took about 20 mins to come out, which was normal. After finishing, the plates were left on the table clearly finished and ready to be taken away for about 30 mins whilst staff served other tables and ignored ours, walking back and forth. After giving the benefit of doubt and waiting for 30 mins I had to catch a staff member and ask them to come over and clear the table for our mains. After waiting another 40 mins for mains, we started to think we were completely invisible. When it did arrive, one plate was served cold. IMO, not worth the 4.7 stars it’s currently rated. Over priced, terribly slow service. Won’t come back. One thing we liked was it looked sophisticated and nice, but that’s were the pleasantries finished.

We popped in on a Wednesday night and had a great time. The service was friendly and attentive. Really enjoyed our time there.

Amazing food in a lively setting. Sat outside on the terrace. Fabio and Oleg’s service was absolutely spotless and the guancia was beyond expectations (and I’m Italian!). Will be back! Don’t forget to try the octopus carpaccio.

Visited on a recent trip to Amsterdam with my girlfriend. The beef and octupus carpaccio's to start were amazing. Both pasta mains cooked to perfection. Will definitely return on next trip to Amsterdam

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Assaggi, and it was by far the best meal we had in Amsterdam. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It you’re craving authentic Italian food, Assaggi delivers a great experience. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Nice quiet meal here on a Sunday night after king’s day. Mostly Americans (like us) while we were in there. Eggplant appetizer, beef cheeks, and ravioli. All were very good as was the wine. Also a pic of our neighbors octopus appetizer.
