21/07/2025 Very nice atmosphere. Great selection of Italian cuisine from multiple regions. The sea bass and lasagna were delicious. Loved the tiramisu. Our server Francesco was so pleasant. He did a fantastic job. Grazie Francesco.

I have traveled for 20 plus years, I travel internationally and I would highly recommend ROBERTO’S AMSTERDAM for a great Italian dining experience…the food the atmosphere and the service are world class… nice wine selection

Delicious food, Eugenia and Joran helped us fantastically and very friendly. The food was sublime! Too bad about the guitarist, who was too present. It was not background music, the guitar sounded just too loud, so you could not hear the singer well and that was a great pity.

It took us almost 2 hours for a cutlet and 5 pasta dishes to arrive. The burrata was not with buffalo mozzarella and it wasn't anything else either. But the carpaccio and eggplant were delicious. The atmosphere wasn't bad but I think a 4\5 would have been worth it. Overall the rating for this mediocre Italian restaurant is 3/5, or rather 3.5/5.

Beautiful restaurant located inside Hilton. Atmosphere was gorgeous and staff were very professional. My husband went with Ultimate Italian Feast which came with one starter, one Maui and one dessert. That was a great value! Carpaccio Cipriani was so well prepared! I’m not a fan of beef carpaccio but i thoroughly enjoyed it. Red prawn tartar was dressed with gold flakes on top- so fancy! It had similar texture like having sashimi ebi and it was great. My daughter had a beet salad and that was the dish to remember. As for entree, my husband’s lamb was tasty and well cooked. Side dish was well seasoned. My linguini a la vongole was tasty but way too salty. That’s the only reason for 4 stars, others it would have been 5! Overall we enjoyed our dinner at Roberto’s.

We had a very lovely dinner in Amsterdam at Roberto’s at the Amsterdam Hilton. Our server, Gugōnia was especially attentive and helpful with the menu. My wife and I had the Sea Bass which we found to be delicious and expertly presented. Highly recommended for a romantic evening!

I love this hotel restaurant. The food is exquisite. I was able to have a zero proof sparkling rose! Also Eugenia was a lovely server, the whole staff was incredible. I decided to have a birthday dinner for my girlfriend and it was an excellent decision. All the staff, especially Franceso, welcomed us fantastically and made sure we always had everything we needed. The place is very pretty, very nice and harmonious atmosphere.

The service here is top notch. The food delicious. But the musicians played way too loud, out of tune and messy and after 30 minutes blood came out of our ears. We won't be coming back here for a while

We had a very nice evening at Roberto’s with an excellent dinner. The plates were served in Venetian Carnaval style which is very colourful. Roberto’s has a very consistent quality of food and pays special attention to the ambiance and to your well-being. Their aim is to create a very nice experience. Their service upon entry and at the table is always so friendly, they have a way of making you feel very welcome and comfortable. Tonight we had Francesco and Anastasiia at our table, who explained the nature of our dishes and made sure we were able to enjoy the culinary surprises. Would recommend Roberto’s any time.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere with a warm and inviting vibe. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. However, the vegetarian options were quite limited. That said, the food I did try was enjoyable and well-prepared. A great place overall, it would be even better with a broader veg selection.

I would definitely recommend eating here. Went here for an fantastic valentines dinner. Every dish of mine was absolutely perfect and tasted as if I was on holiday in Italy. The staff was very polite and helped us good with decisions. The only downsides were that the portions of my partners plate were on the smaller side so unfortunately he was still a little hungry after our meal. And we were sitting next to the lovely live music, but it was just a little too loud.

The food and atmosphere at Roberto's are great, although the service could be better. My partner and I went here for Valentine's Day and enjoyed some options from the special menu options that were available, including Foie Gras. The menu was great and very interesting, and wine recommendations were on point. We will definitely go back here.

Roberto’s is a lovely restaurant at the historic Hilton Amsterdam (where John Lennon and Yoko Ono had their bed-in). The three set menus are a very good deal and you will be well looked after by the enthusiastic, charming, and attentive servers Francesco, Vitto, and Anastasia.

The food was good, but the staff was rude and highly unmotivated. It's a pity for a place like this.

Francesco was a very good waiter this evening. A real Italian who has a lot of knowledge about the food and wines and gave a lot of attention to his guests. In terms of setting, you expect to pay more, but the prices on the menu are very reasonable.

We were there for New Year's Eve dinner and unfortunately a bit disappointed with the service and the food. It started well, we were warmly greeted and shown to the very cozy table by the fireplace. After that, no one cared about us anymore, we had to signal to the waiter ourselves that after almost 15 minutes we would like to have at least some water to drink. Everything was then recorded at the same time, so that we had a forest of aperitif, wine and water glasses on the table. Bread and starters were really good, both pasta dishes were unfortunately rather boring and have been eaten better elsewhere. So unfortunately nothing special, but we decided on a high-class restaurant for New Year's Eve. Two ladies from the service (manager and supervisor?) helped us very nicely with questions and contributed a lot to making it a nice evening overall.

Vito was very impressive. He suggested great-offerings. Good was delicious and a very friendly staff.

During our stay at the hotel, we couldn’t get enough of the wonderful breakfasts at this amazing restaurant—it will always hold a special place in our minds. There are plenty of healthy options for kids, and the dinner is guaranteed delicious too.

Food was inconsistent, one plate of linguine tasted terribly salty while the other wasn’t. Service is rather slow and unattentive at times.

The steak and clam pasta are very delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the surrounding environment is great. It's a very good dining experience.

Quality of service Since our arrival, we have been welcomed with great professionalism and warmth. The staff were incredibly attentive, making sure our every need was met. Their preparation and commitment to ensuring a high quality experience is evident and made our evening truly special. Great Food The food was simply divine. Each dish was prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and presented impeccably. The flavors were well balanced and each course was a taste discovery. I highly recommend trying the swordfish, simply delicious! Friendliness of the Staff In addition to their expertise, the staff proved to be extremely friendly and helpful. The waiter who served us was very pleasant and made the atmosphere even more pleasant with his friendly and professional approach. Beautiful Location The restaurant is located in a truly fascinating location. The environment is elegant and welcoming, with decoration taken care of down to the smallest details. Whether for a romantic dinner or an evening with friends, it offers a perfect setting for any occasion. Wine at Wrong Temperature, but Excellent Timing of Staff The only small downside of the evening was the wine, which was initially served to us at a less than ideal temperature. However, as soon as we pointed this out, the staff reacted promptly and professionally, replacing the bottle with one at the right temperature very quickly. This further demonstrated the restaurant's attention to detail and customer satisfaction. In conclusion, it is a restaurant that I highly recommend. The combination of great food, high quality service, friendly staff and a beautiful setting made our evening unforgettable. I can't wait to go back!

We had dinner at Alberto’s on our last night in Amsterdam and it’s the best place we’ve dined in while in the city. We ordered the t-bone steak and it was fantastic. The meat was tasty and perfectly done to our liking. We also ordered the carpaccio which was nice and the gluten free chocolate cake which was also great. Wine was of good quality at a decent price. But above all, the service was impeccable and Andrea did an amazing job making sure we are looked after. When asked about where the t-bone meat came from, he was knowledgeable which was impressive. We’ve stayed in many Hilton hotels and dined in many Hilton hotel restaurants and this is easily the best we’ve been so far. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely return when we are back in Amsterdam!

We went to Roberto's for the first time to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and enjoyed a beautiful evening. The food was delicious and the wine recommendation by Matteo was superb. The staff went above and beyond not only with a little birthday surprise dessert, but even arranged for some off the menu scroppinos. Again, delicious. Overall, the staff was incredibly attentive and exactly as you would expect from a restaurant of this level. Thank you so much for the evening, Leila, Elisabeth, and Matteo! Food left much to be desired. Service was excellent- they even brought a special bag of things to keep our 3 year old busy while waiting dinner.

The expectations were quite high, the food was quite good but not what we expected, everything has to happen very quickly and communication is a problem, no one speaks Dutch here and if you start asking questions as a wine connoisseur you are going completely wrong. at the end I ordered an averna and a limoncello, but only if they were ice cold, the limoncello from the refrigerator which is not tasty at all and the averna was at room temperature! They took this back with them and of course we did not charge for it. It was a nice evening but unfortunately for us there will be no next time.

I don't usually like hotel restaurants very much, so my expectations for this restaurant weren't particularly high. I have rarely been so positively surprised. The restaurant seemed authentic to me in terms of the food and the service. I ate very, very well. It's a shame it was closed on Sundays, otherwise I would have liked to eat again.

Nice restaurant in Hilton with a beautiful interior. The waiting staff is quite friendly. We didn't like the food though and it didn't feel like the chef was professional. As someone who has lived in Italy, I might be biased about good quality food but this food felt like it was made by an amateur chef. The pasta sauce is definitely not good and we hated the desserts. I had requested a table near fireplace during reservations, which I was assured I have. However we were given a very bad table next to a wine closet and stair. Spent money to only get dissatisfied. Very disappointed. Won't go back again.

Ambience is good but food is not lekker. I was unimpressed. We went for valentines dinner and found the food to be below average. The only dish we enjoyed was the risotto with mushrooms. One more thing to add is that the toilet in this restaurant is like half a mile away. By the time I went to the toilet and came back, I was hungry again. And it wasn't because I spent time in toilet doing anything more than take a piss

Holidays in Amsterdam, my bf booked Roberto’s for my birthday. Everything was perfect, the service, the food and the atmosphere. We took tuna tartare, carpaccio beef, Risotto porcini mushroom, spaghetti caccio Pepe, tagliata beef, tiramisu of course, and the kitchen for my birthday came with an amazing cheese cake. The wine list is incredible as well ! Thank you so much to Alessandra, our waitress, she was really professionnal and kind. We recommend 100% this restaurant !

Wanneer je verrukkelijk met uitstekende service en comfort in Amsterdam Italiaans wilt gaan eten, dan is Roberto’s nog steeds de plek hiervoor. Ober zijn is een vak, iets wat in Amsterdam toch al te vaak wordt onderschat, en Matteo laat je voelen als een koningin, waardoor de restaurant beleving onvergetelijk wordt. Het is werkelijk een pas de deux tussen keuken en bediening en zo’n verwennerij is af en toe heel goed voor een mens.

Eten was op zich goed, hoewel sommige gerechten wat tegenvielen (carpaccio, tonijn tartaar, tiramisu) of wat karig waren. De prijs-kwalititeit verhouding vonden wij scheef. Een aanrader was het voorgerecht La Loren en ook de prijzige Prosecco Setage (€69). Erg attent was het felicitatie toetje!
