Friendly staff. Durum chicken was tasty, but not filling. €10 for a durum is a bit steep, and that's understandable, but I think it should at least be filling.

Last night, my boyfriend and I both ordered a doner box. He ordered veal doner and I ordered chicken. Last night, he got severe stomach cramps and started vomiting. He got very sick. We're definitely never going back.

I think it's one of the best restaurants in Deventer! I've heard from many people that it's not good, and yet I've seen them eat there several times! 🙈 For that price, such a portion is truly excellent! 10-15 minutes at most and it's ready! There were no problems with the staff, either by phone or in person when picking up!

We ordered two Turkish pizzas. After a long wait, we finally got them, and... they were just cold when I asked. I took them back and threw them on the grill with the salad still in them, wrapped in foil. I wanted to get up and leave, but my son stopped me. I think the kebab skewers are delicious here. But there were three people in the kitchen, and you can't even serve a lachmacun.

Small place, in the middle of a residential area, but what quality! The Adana kebab looks incredibly fresh in the display case and tastes perfect. I didn't expect it to be this good.

I ordered online, opted to pick it up myself, and made an appointment. When I went to pick up the order at the agreed-upon time, I was surprised when the chef told me he hadn't started on my order yet.

The durums were okay. But the chocolate dessert was moldy. Afterward, I just felt disgusting. I won't be back. I returned the dessert and got a refund (though with some difficulty). Besides, €54 for 4 durums and 2 desserts is like eating at Harbour Club. It's ridiculous.

For kebab, Ayf is the place to be. People complain about the unfriendly staff. Some will talk to you, others won't. Come here for the good food, not to socialize.

After a promising YouTube video comparing Ayf Kebap to a Porsche among kebabs – but even worse, far below Dacia scale – we took the plunge. What followed was a culinary nightmare. Food: The meat tasted like it had been ready for hours: dry, tasteless and not at all grilled in a traditional way. The durum had nothing Turkish about it – it was more like a tortilla from Aldi. No authentic spices, no balance. Bad meat, bland bread and a sauce that didn’t even come close to real Turkish quality. Service: The staff showed no interest at all. No smile, no enthusiasm, not even simple politeness. As if we were disturbing them with our existence. Hygiene & atmosphere: The place looked outdated, dusty and sloppy. No fresh interior, no clean impression – as if time had stood still here. Conclusion: A big flop. It’s been a long time since I regretted a meal so much. Better save your money, because this is no Porsche, this is no Dacia – this is nothing you ever want to experience again.

It was really delicious! We have eaten at quite a few doner/kebab places, but this one is really good. We had a lahamacun with chicken fillet. Delicious grilled flavor, the chicken was tender and well seasoned. Good combination with salad. We come here more often!

Been there a few times before and had a great meal. This time with 3 people ordered 2 durums per person. The food was ready quickly. And the first durum was very tasty When taking the first bite of the second durum I noticed that there was a dead fly in the durum. Stuck between the bread and meat. Because of that my appetite unfortunately disappeared and I could not continue eating. When we told the chef about this at the end and showed the dead fly between the durum we got a quick apology and we were allowed to withdraw the full amount. (Yes, also for the uneaten durum and the ayran) At first I understood that something can go wrong by chance. And that it can happen to anyone that a fly ends up in the food. However, when you are addressed about this, you expect at least some form of compensation, such as an adjustment in the price or offering a new dish. So we at least expected it to be said, "3 ayrans on the house, or would you like us to remake your durum for you?" In addition, the chef clearly saw that the durum was not eaten after the first bite. At least it could have been said: that durum that was not eaten does not have to be paid for. Furthermore, a nice place and good food.

Had dinner on site last night (April 19). A small chicken fillet dish. Helped by a friendly man. I understand that it was busy there with telephone orders. The food is of very good quality. Delicious chicken and salad. And delicious bread. For a small dish it was quite adequate in price. If I'm ever in the area again, I know where I'll go.

I always drive 2 hours there and 2 hours back to pick up the chicken dish. That's all you need to know :)

Amateurish in settlement. The nine of us had dinner. They charged for 1 extra dish and did not believe us that they had charged 1 dish too much. 9 people will never eat here again!

We tried raw meatballs and kebab. The raw meatballs were very soft, unnecessarily spicy and very tomato paste. It didn't taste good at all. Kebabs were dry and unsalted. They use raw meatball lavash, thin lavash, in kebab wraps. No sauce is added to your order. My overall rating is very bad. I was surprised at how it got 4.3 stars in the comments. Not recommended

For the best adana you have to come here

Always good food and friendly people, but ordering sometimes takes too long here. If you are unlucky you will have to wait 2 hours or more. Good to take into account if you place an order hungry.

Kwaliteit was goed maar nu belabberd slecht!!! Vlees wordt niet meer op de traditionele gril bereid. Salade niet meer aangekleed met extra ingrediënten. Knoflooksaus en rijs niet geleverd. Rijs kunnen we krijgen tegen betaling terwijl zij iets goed te maken hebben omdat ze de saus zijn vergeten. De dame aan de telefoon moet een opleiding communicatie volgen!! Bestel hier niet.

If you want tasty BBQed meat like chicken, beef or lamb with excellent rice and salad, then this humble but authentic Turkish café is the place to be. Be aware there is only about 6 places to sit and eat, but the Turkish tea is free and so good. It's a nice clean place, it really resembling an Turkish grill. The atmosphere is great and you will greeted nicely and they will ask you want you want. Everything is done on a charcoal grill, while you wait you can get a tea or get one when you are done eating. They also have ayran (yoghurt drink) freshly made and kept cool in a dispenser. The place self is somewhat small and not family friendly but that's okay. The food is top notch, the charcoal taste really stands out and the quality is just the best you can get. I always eat chicken there and my preference is chicken but I also had the beef and it's as great as the chicken. If you eat for the first time go with the beef. That's really their signature food and it will blow you away. Friendly people that care about food. It's like the Ferrari under the kebabs!

Every week I get beyti kebab in a lahmacun with salad. Delicious! 1 of my favorite dishes.

After a show at the Burgerweeshuis, I was looking for some late night food. Options were rather limited, so, against my better judgement, I went to Ayf for a broodje dõner. I have had some bad luck in similar situations (hungry, late. after a show) and VERY rarely opt for the kebap shop. I was really hungry, though, so I decided I would give it a go. The service was a bit terse, but fast, and the food exceeded my expectations by a wide margin. Everything was fresh and tasty. Better than the average in my opinion.

Wat mij betreft de beste kip & (Turkse) rijst van Deventer.

Heerlijk eten en goed en netjes te woord gestaan. Kleine zaak, dus niet veel zitruimte, maar het heerlijke eten is een genot om mee naar huis te nemen en daar iedereen mee blij te maken.

Zelf bestel ik vaker de Beyti schotel, lekker gekruid gehakt met rijst en een kleur van diverse groenten. Zeer smaakvol en een topper. Ik raad het je aan.

De laatste keer viel de adana tegen. Het kan ook komen door dat ze geen kolen meer gebruiken maar elekt

Klein tentje, maar lekkere kebab, niet te verwarren met doner kebab. Hier maken ze de echte kebab uit lekker gehakt en stukken vlees. Heerlijk gekruid. Zeker de moeite waard om een keer af tezamen als je in de buurt bent

Great dishes - the meat is tender, the rice is great

Sinds we deze hebben ontdekt, komen of bestellen we bijna wekelijks een schotel met op houtskool gegrilde lams- of kipspies; je krijgt er heel veel gemengde rauwkost bij en naar keuze wel of geen rijst. Je krijgt er ook steevast plat brood (soort pannenkoek) bij. Het is altijd weer verrukkelijk en gezond eten. Hier rijden we voor om.

Turks eten. De beste, niet te evenaren spiezen met op houtskool gegrild vlees (lam, kip) krijg je hier bij Ayf. Grote, middelgrote of kleine schotels. Ter plekke nuttigen (kleine ruimte), meenemen of thuis laten bezorgen. Verrukkelijk!

Goede kebab, de beste in Deventer en omstreken, en uitstekende prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ayf Kebab aan de Rielerweg was de eerste vestiging en volgens ons beter dan de nieuwste vestiging aande Keizerstraat (centrum, vlakbij de Brink).
