What a pleasant surprise, this Christmas package from St. Tropez! Delicious dishes to share with matching wines and drinks, all included in the price. The Grand dessert was truly grand 😀. The service was very friendly, cheerful, and attentive. I would definitely book the next package; highly recommended!

A waitress named Janine approached us, we asked her to pick up the empty plates because we had already finished eating and needed a place, but she refused to say she would not do it because another girl had not yet finished eating. The question is for you, waitress: what difference does it matter to you whether someone milked or not, why did you leave these plates? The second question is, why did we count 3 bottles of wine if we only drank 2?! We were very frequent your customers, but now there is no desire to visit this institution!

Had a wonderful and delicious experience with the Merry & Magical menu. The French lesson in the restrooms was also fantastic.

The atmosphere is cozy. The food is decent. If you order a vegetarian poke bowl, it only includes salad and rice. That's really subpar. Otherwise, the dishes are decent but expensive. We were with seven people and sat in the back. The sofa is comfortable, but the tables are too small, and the chairs are uncomfortable. The service is good and fast.

Beautiful establishment. No hospitality whatsoever. And this is what hospitality is all about. No chatting with your guests. Cleaning is a priority over the guests. You're not greeted with a "good evening." But what do you expect? You might as well go to McDonald's...it's a shame that hospitality entrepreneurs like these don't understand this business, yet they do know how to impress and make a good living. Such a shame! Do something about it.

Unfortunately, only one star. I've been there twice. The first time with two friends just for drinks. The waiter was quite arrogant and pushy and kept asking if we wanted something to eat. That didn't feel very customer-friendly. The second time was today. I went with my in-laws for drinks and ordered some snacks. Unfortunately, the snacks didn't arrive for almost 30 minutes. That was a shame, and after we mentioned it, the response was quite unfriendly. The waitress said she didn't appreciate our tone. We apologized, but it's a bit strange that you're not allowed to criticize. She also asked if we wanted extra drinks, thinking we'd get them for free, but they didn't. There's absolutely no approachability or customer service here. That's a real shame.

I just put the menu back on the table. The staff immediately grabbed it and put it back in a particular position. It was a fan, so they wanted it fanned out. Fine, but don't do that when we, their guests, are still at the table. I ordered apple pie with whipped cream. It was very tasty, but I find the price of "apple pie" a bit steep, as it looked more like applesauce in an aluminum container. The whipped cream ran out in no time.

The chef's surprise menu was delicious, and the service was good. When they saw that my mother needed a walker, they immediately found a suitable seating option.

A lot of money for mediocre food. For 50 euros, we had two chicken satay skewers, a 75-gram piece of pork belly, a small portion of fries, a small bowl of salad, and two soft drinks from the shared dining menu. We left hungry.

It's ridiculous that I get the same fries twice at different prices. And it's worth it, too. (The smallest portion of fries I've ever seen for five or six euros, depending on whether they select French fries or fries, same size, same flavor, different prices.) It was tasty, but it makes no sense. How can you sell the same fries under two different names/prices? I've never been so surprised. Otherwise, the drinks were fine, though there was a lot of ice. The service was a bit confusing at times, but it was fine (just as soon as we ordered, someone came by to ask if we wanted anything). All in all, a good experience, but the fries are a bit of a scam.

It was okay! We sat outside with a patio heater and a blanket. The menu was displayed in a fan-like format, which was a bit confusing. We asked the waiter for a recommendation. It was fine. Prices were reasonable. Again, it's an option, but not a must-try.

The service is sometimes a bit pushy and over-the-top, but always friendly. A nice touch if you need to use the restroom... you get French lessons 😀

We wanted to eat here, ordered a beer, and spent 45 minutes trying to get the waiter's attention for a bite to eat. We asked four different waiters, each time promising someone else would come, but they never did. Finally, we asked for the bill, which also took a long time. The beer was good, but not special enough to warrant a return visit.

I went there for the first time ten years ago with what turned out to be my wife. And we still see the same people we saw back then. The team that works there is always friendly and they know their job well. We love coming here, especially the terrace with the heaters is highly recommended.

This time we didn't sit outside, but inside. We received a friendly welcome; the weather was nice, so it was busy, and we had to wait a bit. There was a nice round table in the corner at the back, which we were able to sit at. We had a delicious lunch with a beer. It was busy, but you still had a comfortable seat at your table, without being bothered by other people. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is pleasant.

I made a reservation online and added a note that I was bringing a birthday boy or girl. Upon arrival, the birthday boy or girl was congratulated. There was a handwritten card with congratulations, a balloon, and a ribbon on the table. With our first drink, they brought an ice fountain. What a fantastic experience! The food was delicious, and the service was incredibly attentive and friendly. We had a fantastic evening and will definitely be back.

Poor service, arriving at your table every 5 minutes. Felt rushed. Dishes arrived far too quickly. We had 3 courses and were out in less than an hour and a half. The quality of the food wasn't great either. One container of cold fries with two main courses.

A fantastic place for dinner or drinks! My boyfriend and I went here, and right from the start, the service was fantastic, and the lounge/restaurant looked beautiful and atmospheric—everything was perfect! The food was also delicious! Fast and friendly service, with some delicious cocktails and other drinks on the menu! If we're ever in Deventer again, we'll definitely be back. Highly recommended :)

Today I celebrated my birthday at St. Tropez Gastrolounge in Deventer – what an experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was perfectly taken care of: the reserved table was decorated with an orange balloon (my favorite color!), a greeting card, and a long orange ribbon diagonally across the table. A beautiful and heartwarming gesture from the hospitable staff. To my surprise, the first drink was served with a burning star – a festive detail that immediately made the evening special. The food and drinks were excellent, and what immediately struck us was the staff's exceptional friendliness and customer focus. The price-quality ratio is excellent, and the atmosphere and new decor complete the picture. In short: a fantastic experience – warm, tasteful, and stylish! 🎉

The food was fine, but not what it used to be. The atmosphere was very loud, and the acoustics made it quite shrill (we were with young people, and they felt the same way).

I had a great meal. The carpaccio was excellent, and they were quick. I had a prawn burger for my main course, which was a bit of a disappointment. It was a fried item with some shrimp in it. But when I think of a burger, it's grilled. And that was a shame. Friendly service, and otherwise a very nice place. Definitely worth a visit. I didn't take a picture of the front because it was raining heavily and I still had to get to the station.

Due to a mistake we made, we even got a nice surprise at the table: a balloon and a card, so they definitely think carefully about such details! I do think it would be more fun to have drinks and snacks here. The food was fine, but nothing special. The carpaccio didn't taste very fresh to me, and I have to say it's quite pricey. Cocktails and mocktails are their specialty, though! In short: the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff made this a pleasant experience!

The new restaurant decor looks nice, but we were seated in the front section (a table for two). Our table was quite small, and the chairs were uncomfortable. Our biggest complaint was the poor acoustics, which made it impossible to have a normal conversation in that area. The food is still good, but honestly, I preferred the previous layout (with more spacious seating) of your restaurant.

Friendly but sometimes pushy service. You've barely finished your glass or plate before it's taken away while others are still eating. We're asked too often if we'd like another drink. At first, we thought this was only done during Deventer's uproar. But it's happening again tonight. The terrace will probably stay full, but we're looking for a different spot. We feel too rushed here. "Everything finished? Then get out!" seems to be the motto. It's a real shame, because it used to be more relaxed here. Why this change?

Always enjoy a relaxing meal at St. Tropez. On an ordinary weekday Tuesday, during a special Valentine's dinner or on a busy King's Day: the atmosphere is always good, the staff always friendly and helpful and the food always delicious.

It's become so beautiful after the renovation. Because there are now separate alcoves for dining everywhere, you can chat undisturbed and no longer hear the other guests' conversations. The food and drinks were, as always, delicious.

After dinner, we were still craving cocktails, so we ended up at St. Tropez. There wasn't a low table available, but there was a high one, and one of the waiters offered to arrange chairs for a low table. Unfortunately, these chairs went to three other guys, but I managed to get a low table myself when two people left. The cocktails were fine. Went back later for sushi and the drinks platter. The sushi was fine, though a bit pricey at 18 euros for 8 pieces. The drinks platter was also okay. Legend 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't be back. 3) Okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, nice for a one-time visit. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

We made a reservation here in the early afternoon, and upon arrival (Saturday evening at 6:15 PM), the weather was beautiful. We clearly indicated in our reservation that we were there for drinks. Upon arrival, there was no place for us outside. According to the waitress, reservations are strictly for indoors (you couldn't select this anywhere). She also couldn't tell us if a spot would become available soon or if we could rebook. She did ask for the name of the reservation so she could cancel it, which she was obliged to do, and there was no apology. All in all, we and our group ended up sitting next door. 😐

We sat outside on the terrace and had a delicious meal. It was a shame, though, that when I asked for another Malbeck, it was gone. They didn't bother borrowing a bottle from, say, the neighbors. St. Tropez was renovated a while ago. It looks very nice outside. Inside, we didn't find it inviting. It felt cold and the seating was very cramped. Not inviting. Definitely not cozy. Luckily, we were able to sit on the terrace. We all found it much better than inside; we didn't want to sit there. And that has nothing to do with the weather. Such a shame. For us, St. Tropez is only suitable for the terrace when the weather is nice.

I had delicious, thick burgers with a nice juice. I definitely recommend it, and it was pleasantly busy, yet the service was fast. I'll definitely go back there again soon when I'm in the area.

The food and drinks were also delicious. Deventer isn't around the corner for me, but I'll definitely be back for St. Tropez! Bonus: I learned some new French words.

What's served here as "medium" would be classified as shoe sole elsewhere. The steak was tasteless and overcooked, a sad, lifeless piece of meat from which every trace of flavor seemed carefully removed. If this is the result of "craftsmanship in the kitchen," then you should seriously think twice. Besides, they failed twice; the second attempt was just as terrible as the first. The meat was probably frozen before it went into the pan. Just take a good look at the texture. Perhaps the most frustrating thing is that this place gets away with it. Apparently, the lack of competition is so great that they don't have to bother with quality here. The locals seem to be okay with it, but for those used to better restaurants, this is a huge disappointment.

Wow, what a transformation! What I especially love is the great acoustics, small spaces for cozy seating (within a large space). I don't like sitting next to a table, and here it's fantastic! So far, I've just enjoyed two beautiful seats for a few glasses of wine, and I hope to explore the menu further with my boyfriend soon. Fantastic spot! Highly recommended!

Had a reservation but were put on a table that was too small. After asking we were allowed to go to another table that was better. Took a very long time before you could ask something to a waiter, there was hardly any attention. The ice tea tasted like water, we got a new one but that was also more watery than lemonade. Burgers (shrimp and regular, I forget the name) were great! But for 2 burgers we only got 1x fries while you were supposed to get 2. We felt like we had been nagging enough so we left it... actually wanted to order something else but it took too long so we wanted to pay but this was also forgotten and we had to wait a very long time. Furthermore, the place looks nice but not really recommended

Nice dinner, just a shame about the crème brulee dessert. This looked very tasty, nicely garnished, but the cream was like custard and unfortunately not a firm cream. That was a shame. Maybe we should have said it right away when we took a bite and sent it back.

I mentioned that I was going outside to greet my friend. He happened to be at the front of the square (Brink). After that I was no longer allowed in at the door. My girlfriend and daughter were waiting for me at a table inside. We had placed an order there. Sasha (?) at the door who had seen me 3 times in a short time no longer recognized me. While I explicitly said that I would be right back. Only lasted 4 minutes. We grabbed our coats and went. Really downright bad! We don't come here anymore. Sitting next to it together... Take advantage of it. Tip for St Tropez: Take a training course to refresh your short-term memory. It wasn't that busy at all.
