Bar Boele in Zuidas

Okay place, quite pricey for a university.

This is the bar where you go to treat yourself after a hard day of studying or an exam period. It is located on VU grounds and offers a wide arrange of beverages for a fair price. A must visit if you are a student at the University.

If you're a carnivore, this isn't the place to be. Not much choice. Fries with stew and a hamburger bun are all you can order for meat. Lots of hipster food. This place is also quite expensive. There were five of us, but we had to go to the bar several times for drinks. The fries with stew were quite good. We ordered nachos but missed the small print below the text. We got oven-baked chips with mashed "doperten" snot. The staff doesn't speak Dutch. Or maybe I just didn't encounter them. It doesn't look professional either.

Bad service, disinterested staff

€3.80 for a sparkling water is a bit steep. Especially for a university bar.

Couldnt get a drink at 11.30 pm after the movies even though theyre supposed to close at 12.

A chill hangout place to have drinks and snacks.

I went here for a few cups of tea. The service wasn't very attentive or fast. But otherwise, it's a great location for an appointment.

wow what a revelation, fries are wonderfully fried and beers are wonderfully poured. the staff really makes this place, think his name was cosmo.

Cosmo is truly a great employee. If I were manager a raise would be too little. Honestly, a Michelin star for the bitterballen alone should be given. Come check it out and tip for the great service. Look at that happy customer.

Great service, great draft beer

You will not be helped, there are 2 tables around us that are not being helped. Nice just before the performance. Very bad service.

What poor service, ordered twice and bar employee walks away to get glasses... not seen again for 5 minutes ordering second time from the same employee... he hung up glasses again and walked through the shop to clear tables...

Nice place for a drink before or after a show at Griffioen or Rialto. Lots of choice in specialty beer!

A cozy, peaceful and nice spot to gather over a drink. Reasonably priced, convenient location, friendly and quick service at the bar. Will definitely be stopping here more often!

Very friendly service that works hard. Cozy atmosphere and wide choice of special beer and (vegetarian) snacks. It's great that you have to order at the bar, you will be helped quickly.

Nachos are the worst. They use lays chips with cheddar which is a very bad combination and the guacamole isn’t made of avocado and wasn’t nice at all. Wouldn’t recommend the nachos.

Messy company, where the music is way too loud. And the tables could also be cleaned a little better, they were dirty and sticky.

I really don't think you can serve a cheese board without apple syrup. Mixing cultures is fun, but this is really not possible. Bitterballen were delicious

The location is good inside the VU campus. The selection of food and snacks is very limited.

As I go to the cinema in the VU a lot, I often stop by at Bar Boele for a drink after (to discuss our takes). Solid selection of tap beers, love the music selection. Staff have always been friendly and relaxed.

Fascinerende tent, personeel wat enigzins verloren achter de bar staat. Soms service aan tafel soms niet. Opzich een leuke inrichting maar weet niet precies wat ik er van vindt noch vlees noch vis zullen we maar zeggen.

Net even een drankje doen voorafgaand aan de voorstelling. Druk maar alsnog vlotte bediening.
