Bar Claes in Museumkwartier

Would highly recommend. Best cocktails we have found in Amsterdam and came across this gem by accident! Hats off to Chris and the bar team for the hospitality and cocktails. Definitely one of the best we have had from our travels!

Quick stop while on the way to dinner.

Just stopped in for some cocktails and beers before heading out for the evening. Nice atmosphere. Welcoming spot if you are in need of a drink in the area.

Discovered this gem of a place through Google search. The bar is inside the hotel foyer. Great atmospheric lighting and beautiful patterned floor and walls. Had a pool table. Friendly Bartender service. Came up to where you were sitting and recommended cocktails based on previous ones. Quality white Russian and Negroni with smokey twist. Had very good Manhatten and Margherita too

We only went for cocktails and wine, but it was delicious. They made the best old fashioned I’ve had in quite awhile.

Mediocre cocktails, terrible service, idiots blasting a laptop speaker in the corner, and a sub blaring with a bunch of house speakers off so it was just bass lines blaring. Far better available than this faux-cool poseur club.

Great atmosphere with a fireplace and great drinks. The bartender really knows his craft.

Great cocktails and a nice little bar. Has a pool table you can play although it’s seen better days. Better cocktails than some of the other places I tried nearby.

Un bar magnifique, très design avec beaucoup de goût. Les prix sont correctes par rapport à la qualité des cocktails. Par contre, et je n'ai pas envie de le juger uniquement la dessus car ca dépend de la personne, mais le serveur qui sert les cocktails sur une table sale, qui ne la nettoie pas, qui dit qu'il revient avec des cacahuètes et ne revient jamais... bref... problème d'employé. Mais je répète, superbe cocktail et l'endroit et à tomber.

The drinks were delicious. Friendly, talented young bartender. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. We will definitely be returning during our next visit to Amsterdam.

Cool spot and fun atmosphere but the service was not good. We ordered a Manhattan and got some sweet cherry syrup in a cocktail glass. Cloyingly sweet and almost difficult to drink. Might try it again before leaving this city, but there are definitely other bars to try.

After a day of exploring the city and museums, stopped by this place for a drink and to regenerate. Large, nicely appointed bar as soon as you walk into the hotel. Dimly lit, great vibe and great drinks.

The staff and interior were really nice. I guess if someone likes strong cocktails it is a good place to visit. However for me the taste of vodka in my cocktail was unbearable. I felt like I would be drinking shots and not a cocktail.

Wat een mooie plek, fijne bediening en heerlijke cocktails. De classics met een twist, creatief en smakelijk. De sotol-negroni mag je zeker niet missen!

We met up with some friends and shared two bottles of cava in a comfortable, sophisticated setting just a stone's throw from the bustle of Museumplein.

Lovely relaxed bar at hotel Park Centraal, to have a really good cocktail! The bartender Lotte taught us a lot about flavours and combinations. She is very passionate about her work, super friendly and sociable. Needless to say, we tried almost every cocktail on the menu. Piece by piece they were delicious, well dosed. Definitely recommend stepping inside this hidden gem that sits very close to Vondelpark and Leidse Plein. The Sotol cocktail is a must-try:), very exclusive. Thank you for the nice experience:)

Un très joli bar, très classe et cosy avec une déco magnifique. Nos cocktails étaient succulents. Le meilleur Dark n Stormy que j'ai bu de ma vie. Je suis encore embêté avec la note car tout était parfait, sauf que nous avons attendu 25 minutes avant qu'un serveur vienne vers nous.Nous ne savons pas si c'est quelque chose de courant pour nous laisser nous détendre tranquillement ou si c'est un manque d'intérêt du barman et de la serveuse alors que le bar était presque vide... Les toilettes ne sont pas dans un état de propreté parfait.

Genuinely some of the tastiest drinks/cocktails I've tasted. Barman is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend for the newcomer and experienced drinker alike.

Este bar es una joya escondida dentro del hotel, lleno de todo tipo de espíritus increíbles que han sido cuidadosamente seleccionados por el gerente. Si disfruta de un cóctel magistralmente elaborado, vale la pena visitar este lugar solo, o antes o después de una visita de MoMo (se encuentra al lado). Un gran agradecimiento a Peno, que fue increíblemente amable y lleno de sugerencias. Los camareros hacen que este bar sea genial.

Eenmaal door de deuren van Park Centraal bevind je je direct in Bar Claes. Deze bar straalt iets unieks uit, een waanzinnig mooie ruimte waar vriendelijke en enthousiaste medewerkers je een warm welkom geven. De inrichting is te gek, een pooltafel aan de ene kant wat zitplekken voor ontspanning en fijne stoelen die je uitnodigen aan de bar. De kaart bevat een leuk assortiment aan kleine fijne gerechtjes om te bestellen en uiteraard de cocktails worden geserveerd zoals je ze hoort te drinken, gemaakt met passie. Een gemis als je deze locatie nog niet bezocht hebt!

El bar era un lugar muy agradable, los lugareños eran muy amables, al igual que el personal, y el cóctel era perfecto, realmente disfrutamos de nosotros mismos.

Pasé una tarde encantadora aquí con una bebida, un aperitivo y mi libro. La tostada de gambas del barrio chino fue divina! Terminé con media botella de vino y mi bocadillo frente a un fuego de efecto de registro y fue tan navideño. El personal era de primera clase, no podría calificarlo más.
