Even they did not have any wings, wrap and fries serve great as snacks! Rich flavour wrap maybe was to spicy.. The best thing about this place is coctails and hospitality. From coctails descriptions in menu to barmens suggestions everything was beyond expectations. Full of taste, great served and most importat strong! :)

I have been here multiple times and it takes about 30 minutes to get a cocktail because they have one bartender (who is honestly very good). The wait time is far too long. However good cocktails so worth going on a less busy night!

Cocktails arrived late. We learned that they forgot 45 minutes after ordering. and there was no apology or compensation. "Do you still want it?" they asked arrogantly. we will never go again. Answer: Also, We drank cocktails because we came to drink cocktails. You also brought chicken to the table, brought napkins and plates after the chicken was finished. I understand the delay, but unfortunately you know nothing about customer satisfaction.

We had not reserved online, but we saw that it was fully booked, but at 1800 there was still room for us. It was great that we could just go there. The atmosphere is chill, the food is amazing, the kitchen is open, which I personally always like. The cocktail menu is very large, so lots of choice.

We were visiting Amsterdam from California and brought 9 people to Labyrinth on a Saturday night so we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately, there were three dishes unavailable for dinner (jerk wings, oxtail stew and something else). That was ok until we ordered and then found out there were two other dishes unavailable (regular wings and curry chicken) but the service staff took our orders first before finding out. Dishes were brought out one or two at a time often with 10 minutes or more between them so others were close to done while some hadn’t yet eaten. Upon getting the bill we learned it included an entree we never ordered and higher drink prices than was listed on the menu. We were told the QR code menu had the correct prices but the service staff said nothing about this before or during the meal. We loved the ambiance, the music, and the food we did get was good (except for the beef patties, which were dry). It’s a shame our experience wasn’t great because of the other factors.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious cocktails, fantastic service. The bar reminds me of a Jazz Club. Fantastic!

Such good food!!! Great portions and amazing flavours, would 100% recommend. The cocktails are also amazing, with such a cool selection as well. The lady that served us was also super attentive and very kind, can't wait to go back!

Great experience! Very cosy environment and friendly service! Went to have dinner now that Reggae Rita is serving up Jamaican food here - it did not disappoint, absolutely delicious food. I also got a cocktail and it was really tasty and beautiful. Love the metal straw as well, way better than a soggy paper straw :)) Will definitely be back for the events and to try more cocktails.

I was very good with the food and service at this restaurant. My only suggestion is to add the time the kitchen closes to the pop up that allows you to make your reservation. The kitchen hours are listed on the website but it isn’t until after you make your reservation that you see it

This place is a vibe. Went on a Monday and signed up for the open mic and everyone was so nice! Will be returning when I visit Amsterdam again.

Super friendly service 😊 Cocktails to start with were super nice. We had the shared dining with chicken wings baked bananas (ordered twice) spare ribs (my favorite) bakeljouw crockets (outstanding). A perfect place to have tasty bites and signature cocktails.

Food - - cocktails - atmosphere - staff ; all of it , a lovely experience . We had the jerk chicken wings (must try), cod fritters, spare ribs , stewed okra , fried cassava (must try), and momma kenya samosas (must try) True comfort food.

This is among the top 5 best places in Amsterdam. It's the vibes mostly, the music and poetry nights, it's just incredible. Service is soul, the vibe is soul, and the food is soul... and very original (carribean fusion). And to think I haven't even mentioned the cocktails hahaha! Just a great place people!

After dinner, we craved for a last cocktail and ended up at Labyrinth. Well, a Labyrinth it was. It's interesting to analyze how everything connects at this place. We were too late for the bites, but judging from the menu it could be right up my alley, Caribbean fusion. The staff, judged by their appearance, looked like their own movie in totally different genres. The Labyrinth was like the Netflix, where they all came together. Then the music. It didn't fit any of the characters. Saturday night, almost empty establishment, mellow music, relaxed vibe. Waiter knows his way with eyeliner, because that was on point. Forgot to ask where he found a pigmented white eyeliner like that. Just as the cocktails. 'Boogie Woogie' and 'The Dragons Tale' was the nightcap we didn't know we were looking for. Will we be back? Yes. I want to try the foods and wander through this Labyrinth again to see what comes up to the surface next time.

The food and atmosphere is amazing! Very cozy vibes with nice performances. The cocktails are tasty but quite watery. The glasses are filled with ice and it’s way overpriced for the little amount of alcohol.

Throughly enjoyed my dinner on Sunday night. And meeting the owner Sam, and his lovely wife. Food was delicious and the cocktails were so impressive and perfectly balanced. I'm definitely a fan and will be back on my next visit.

I was looking for a black owned restaurant to support on my travels and I am so happy I found this place, amazing food & cocktails! This was my first ever solo dinner and what a phenomenal experience. There were only few people in there on a Thursday night but we all ended up connecting in conversation and drinks with the sweet waitor and bartender. Can’t wait to visit again. Much love y’all 🫶🏽

Really great atmosphere complemented by unique, tasty cocktails and yummy bites of food. You can probably improve on this place but I sure can’t think of how! Highly recommend!

This place is one of my favorite in the city. The food is always good (albeit a bit pricy) and the drinks are spectacular. My only qualm is that it used to be possible to get any drink on the menu non-alcoholic and now it seems that there are only 3 drinks that can be made that way; which is super sad and disappointing. I would love to see Labyrinth be more accessible to folks who don't drink alcohol; especially because everything else is so wonderful.

Black owned. Great drinks. Great service. Sadly I got there too late to eat but the drinks were fire! I had the Boylesque and Le Vagabond. Both were amazing but the Boylesque just blew me away. I definitely will be back to Amsterdam and when I do I’m coming early enough to get food and drinks!!!

The Cocktails are at a very low level, and I really wonder why the cocktails' rating is very high. Nice place, the music is not so loud, and nice ambiance.

Amazing cocktails and food. I recommend the drink Bonobo’s gland. Asked for more sauces for my nachos and they provided with no extra charge.

So I went here for an open mic and was blown away by all the talented ppl who showed up. The food is good, drinks are great, staff is super friendly. Definitely worth it if you want to explore Amsterdam. I will be going back!! UPDATE: It's been almost three years and Labyrinth is my local. Sam and Lincie are the most wonderful people. The food is still fantastic. The people are wonderful and the events are the best in the city. Yup!

Het is is een geweldige plek. Het eten is te lekker, de sfeer is echt top en je wilt vaker terug komen. Neem in ieder geval de gebakken banaan, de zoete aardappel, de chicken en de samosas. Heel eerlijk, bestel meteen meerdere posities banaan

Nice atmosphere and good cocktails. We tried the samosas which were nice and a great salad with spinach and grilled vegetables. I also got some shrimps which were fried and I wasn't impressed with them but overall it is a nice spot and we will go again !

I went for food and drinks. I can absolutely understand why others love it but it simply wasnt for me. The food is tapas style and you should absolutely order 3+ items per person. I thought the cocktail was ok and I was hungry when I left. At one point we waited for over 20 after a drink was ordered to get it. The service wasnt amazing. Im honestly not sure that I would return again. Again, I get why others love the place but it simply wasnt a hit for me.

Great small bar near the bottom of Vondelpark. Tasty, well balanced cocktails with interesting combinations. Orpheus, Le Vagabond, Swahili Spice, and The Full Severity Of Compassion are great drinks to try. The place offers poetry readings (the owner is a poet himself) and the menu has beautifully chosen poems. Small bites are very tasty and different from the usual fare. There are vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly service and great atmosphere.

Food was decent, limited menu. Cocktails we had were good as well. Staff/Owner are very pleasant.

The place is such a gem! Located in a lovely neighborhood of Vondelpark, serving great selection of unique signature cocktails, prepaid by the owner of the place himself! The food is amazing too, very rich in flavors and tastes: especially we enjoyed fried plantan (sort of banana) and coconut shrimps. All of these goes with a quick and friendly service! Will come back again for sure!

Amazing Cocktails and food really worth the visit

I enjoyed the soul food (the steamed okra dish and cassave fries are recommended ) The highlight is definitely the cocktails which were really good and beautiful decorated. I will def come back to try out their other cocktails! The restaurant is also nicely decorated, it’s a shame they don’t offer outdoor seating which would be a plus!
