Very cool vibe! Came during sundown on a Thursday night and I got to say one of the best Negronis I’ve ever had. The gal got a grapefruit drink and it’s perfectly balanced. Love the atmosphere here

The negroni and espresso martini were fantastic. The service and atmosphere (music selection) was what we needed.

I've been to many of the "Top 50 bars" in the world, and I would argue this was the best cocktail lounge I've ever visited. The level of execution was next level, with interesting flavor pairings that don't stray into off-kilter for the sake of being different. I tried simple and complex drinks and everything was A+. The service was excellent and not stuffy considering the luxury vibe. The food was also quite good.

Beautiful space and location, the staff is very nice and attentive – you already feel at home once you enter the building downstairs. I had the bloody Mary and it was very refreshing and interesting. However, 75% of the glass is filled with a massive ice cube. I saw the same at my friend’s cocktail. Bit disappointing, given the price.

Walked in without a reservation one afternoon and had such an amazing experience! Louis and Joan made me feel like an absolute VIP even took the time to explain some of the finer points of how to make my favorite cocktail - the gin martini. I would recommend a reservation maybe after 6pm? The place really started to fill up with the before dinner crowd.

Quality of cocktails is good. I had the Caroni, fermented Daiquiri and the bees knees. Some kaarage too (very juicy!). The drinks where good, but I didn't get why they but the huge ice cubes in the coupette glasses? The bees knees was really good. All in all, not an extraordinary cocktail experience, but a good one. Still I'd recommend some other (hotel) bar right over the streets if you are looking for the extraordinary!

The atmosphere is nice, the service exceptional and the place is very accessible but I find the cocktails were a bit underwhelming for the price. Well prepared, but the bloody mary was too sweet and hot and had lost the moderating factor of fresh unclarified tomato

We only had the chance to visit Bar TwentySeven on our last night in Amsterdam, and we wish we had stopped by sooner! Even on a Monday night, the atmosphere was fantastic, and thanks to Marcelo’s amazing drink suggestions, we had an unforgettable evening. The cocktails were top-tier, the service was impeccable, and we even ended up closing the place down! Next time, we’ll be sure to visit more than once—highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional bar experience in Amsterdam.

PERFECTION. Quiet, reserved, elegant. This place is like an oasis from the chaos of the streets of Amsterdam center. It was recommended by the American Express concierge and it was definitely the best choice. People in Amsterdam (in general) are very kind and they offer very good service, but here you will find another level.

The place is nice and clean but I find it a bit boring. The staffs were good and friendly but I didn’t liked the approach of the female waitress. She was a bit rude sorry

Stopped in after a long day of exploring and glad I did. Absolutely delicious cocktails. Everything was very well thought out and certainly not something I could have made at home.

Best cocktails, amazing service, wonderful ambiance!! It is worth it! As a couple, we drank 7 cocktails and all of them were excellent. Also some bar bites. The waiter was so attentive (thank you Joseph🤩) and they were all very kind: entering the building, taking my coat, bringing us up with the elevator, and giving us a great seat. Lovely kind people with 5 star service quality. Loved it! Each cocktail costs on average ~€20, and absolutely delicious.

Super vibey spot, definitely an upscale lounge feel with dim lighting and some super fun cocktails to choose from! The bellman was very welcoming and attentive, he took our jackets and gave directions to make sure we found the bar easily upstairs. When leaving, he asked how we enjoyed it, and helped us put on our jackets - above and beyond service! At the bar itself, the staff was very friendly, and welcoming as well. They were always around but gave us our space to enjoy our drinks and chat We had a great time!

Beautiful elegant bar. It's just a shame that the music is played very quickly. No match at all with the ambiance of the bar.

I meant to write this review when I was there around September 2- 7! I want to start by saying the service was outstanding. I’d searched endlessly for a martini and found the most perfect one right at this bar! Anything you needed they made it! All while being amazing, felt like I didn’t need to go to any other bar. Hence coming back but more importantly the people the people there were phenomenal and I think it would be insane for me not to give them a round of applause as the team effort to make it such an experience! special people mentions to Josze, Nathan, Brent, Francesca, Francia, Marcelo! (I hope I spelled everyone’s name right! ) You guys are so brilliant and talented at what you all do! I can see why this place was rated by Michelin guide. I can’t wait to see what more this team offers in the future! Thank you guys so much for making my stay in the Netherlands memorable and for my short time there making me a repeat client! Cheers to everyone on the team!

Service is top notch, the drinks are more art than gastro and the ambience hits the spot. Love it, and it's one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam. They have a wide and top shelf selection of several types of drinks. I tried the different variations of clase Azul with them, along with some of the finest cocktails you'll find in NL. If you feel too decadent id suggest a liquid dinner which you can thank or punch me later for. Prices are top shelf but I find the experience including the amazing service worth it. I'll be back again soon and keep up the good work.

Love the private room with a view of Amsterdam square from the window. The signature cocktails great especially the truffle old fashioned and chocolate rum. Located in the hotel on the 3rd floor quite a decor 🖤

We went there for the second time and this time we were very satisfied. The service person explained to us all the cocktails very well and also even helped and allowed us to move chairs so that we could sit together and be comfortable with our friends. Very nice bar, i fully recommend..

There is a fantastic menu of custom cocktails. The bartender talked to us about what we liked and then made some recommendations and he was spot on! The service was incredible which is really why you come to a cocktail bar like this. The drinks were excellent. They have a very high quality liquor selection as well, if you prefer your drinks straight up.

The people who work here are fantastic. Utmost respect & quality cocktails.

Some of the best cocktails I've ever had in my life!! The cocktail with the japanese whisky and tea (omikase?) just unbelievable. And pornstar #2 was also very good. Service is AMAZING. The absolute nicest people are working here. They made the experience so much better especially since I spent much of the days sitting in the bar working. Alex, Jose, and Marcelo you guys are the best!! The place is also beautiful.

Bar TwentySeven, is renowned for its luxurious yet casual ambiance. Nestled within Hotel TwentySeven, the bar offers stunning panoramic views of the city, including iconic landmarks like the Royal Palace and the De Bijenkorf department store. It has a great cocktail selection, developed by a top-notch team of bartenders and it offers a luxurious ambiance, and exceptional service even during busy times.

After consultation with the owner, it was handled very neatly: something had gone wrong and we received the bill from the neighboring table. This was more than neatly resolved afterwards and the review adjusted accordingly. We think the limoncello Fiorito in the Netherlands is the tastiest, the freshest, and therefore good. The place is a bit pricey, but you might expect that when you look at the location and design.

We were looking for some vintage speak easy inspired bar and got this tacky little bar with horrible music and ugly neon decoration. It feels like a cell phone/electronic shop. The waiter was very friendly and explained everything about the cocktails but they were just average and expensive.

On Monday May 6, my girlfriend and I had an unpleasant experience at the bar, but after contacting management the problem was resolved quickly and professionally. Thank you for the good service and compensation.

I went only to the bar, twice, not the restaurant: Awesome drinks, very helpful and nice staff, and atmosphere is also great, at the third floor of this fancy hotel, right by the side of the Dam. All this has a bit of a cost: it's on the expensive side. Since drinks are the star of the place: besides great craft in the making and BEAUTIFUL presentation, drinks are also very creative, with all sorts of unexpected flavors and ingredients (they are even able to re-distill things, making a coffee drink that's totally transparent, or a bloody mary that's translucent and pink). great place for starting the night, and for drink lovers! Every drink I tasted was great, particular highlight to the impressively-served Margarita.

My friends and I were scolded by staff no less than five times for not having a reservation in their otherwise empty bar. I would not go back.

This was the bar where they had a Remembrance Day arrangement. With a snack and a drink you could experience Remembrance Day up close.

Unique cocktails, great hospitality.

Trying to make a profit on Remembrance Day, wow. Everyone come to our roof terrace for a drink, ticket only €50, we will all be quiet for a moment at 8 p.m.! Then apologies on Instagram that amount more to "we regret the fuss" than to "we regret our blunder in wanting to make a profit from commemorating war victims".

This is the place for a good Remembrance Day party!

I have been to so many cocktail bars in Amsterdam but my favourite is here! I absolutely loved it, we had more than 3 twisted margarita or bee knee (I guess). Also, I do recommend Bohemian Rhapsody, strong and elegant! It is a piece of art. ( not to mention the Dj was really good! Good job guys!

I love this place. Sometimes it takes a while until you get your cocktail or something else, but the cocktails are gorgeous and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxed.

Absolute stunning bar, a great menu, and staff who really know what they are talking about. We had 3 cocktails each, and they were so well balanced!! Super tasty!! Not cheap, but worth it. Best cocktails in Amsterdam for us! xx

Wonderful service and amazing cocktails!

Very nice bar at Dam Square. The hotel staff were super nice but the bar servers were surly and seemed overly annoyed to serve our group. One of them actually said they would not let us pay separately WHEN THE BAR SAID WE COULD, because according to him, “it’s less convenient for him”. Not the kind of person who should be working in a service job. And I understand that service can be difficult. We were a nice crowd spending money and being polite. The servers (all except one) seemed like they just hated their jobs and hated dealing with people. One was flat out rude. For this kind of bar with their prices and the image they present, a rude server who acts like it’s such a bother to do his basic job and tells customers he won’t do what the bar promised because it’s “less convenient” for him, is not acceptable. There are many nice places in Amsterdam with much better service than this.

Attentive and lovely staff, I was sitting at the bar and Matteo took good care of me and made me lovely drinks even though the bar was quite busy. The cocktails are inventive and tasty, I would recommend!

Juan and Ziemowit are like a bit of an Abbott and Costello act behind the funnest bar in Amsterdam. Most importantly, an unbelievable level of care for their cocktails. Level 12 out of 10 here. Pick one from the menu and trust them to take you on the ride after!

While looking for a good cocktail bar, I came across Twenty Seven. We went there completely unprepared and with normal clothes. (I should have looked at the pictures 😜) But we received a very warm welcome. The ambience is simply great. Something Gatsby style. The staff are very helpful and know their stuff very well. We trusted their recommendations and were not disappointed. The cocktails were very tasty and met our taste exactly. The food was also super tasty. Definitely a recommendation.

Well…. What can I say? The cocktail I drank was delicious! But the rest… it took ages for the cocktail to arrive. Even when I ordered a glass of wine after 2 cocktails, pouring a glass of wine took ages. In general, I thought the atmosphere was mostly fake rather than chic. A wannabe beautiful cocktail bar, with over the top “funny” -only male- staff... no, maybe nice for tourists... but not for people who live in the city and are looking for a special night out.

Visited for a Friday night drink. Staff was lovely, the DJ ambiancing the room, and of course the cocktail (Gold Digger) was fresh and delicious. Lastly, the cost vibe, comfortable seating and dim lighting made the experience even better. Would recommend, and I'll be back.

The guys behind the bar are always super helpful. The ambiance it’s great, just makes you want to stay for hours. Super cozy! And the cocktails are just superb, one better than the other… if you are hungry, also very good food available. Highly recommended

Nice atmosphere, although crowd is fairly touristy. Cocktails are good. Service when we went was abysmal. We went on a Monday evening before dinner. There were maybe 3-4 other tables occupied and it still took close to 40' for our drinks to arrive - we had to take our drinks with us to dinner next door. We saw the bartender walking around the lounge & chatting with staff, not doing anything - quite frustrating. Otherwise, staff is friendly and polite, not particularly active (e.g. didn't refill water)

Welcome to the best cocktail bar in Amsterdam. I love that this bar not only has my favorite cocktails, but also has a nice arrangement of virgin cocktails. For the alcoholic range I can greatly recommend the Great Gatsby (refreshing), Fermented Daiquiri (sweet-sour) and the White Truffle Old Fashioned (sweet). It pains me that the Geisha is off the menu, but I’m sure one day I’ll be back to get another Last Word in ;) or a New York Sour.

I've been to this bar several times, and every visit has left me delighted. The cocktails and service consistently reach a commendable standard. I particularly appreciate the experience at the hotel lobby entrance, where the courteous porter warmly welcomes you and helps with your coat – it truly enhances the overall vibe. "A Disappointing Dive into Fake High Class: The Bar of Twenty Seven Hotel" ⭐ As an avid fan of high class cocktail bars, I was eagerly looking forward to my visit to the bar of Twenty Seven Hotel. Unfortunately, I can say with great disappointment that my experience was anything but pleasant. Upon arrival we received a super nice welcome from the new F&B manager, a very nice and attentive lady. Unfortunately then contact with the bald bartender with a beard, who behaved more like a bouncer than an attentive waiter in a refined cocktail environment. His unfriendly attitude and lack of hospitality made me feel more like I was in a slum bar than in a so-called high class cocktail bar. The cocktail experience itself was nothing to write home about. The mixologist seemed more interested in his own beard care than in creating refined flavors. The drinks were mediocre and lacked the finesse you would expect in an establishment that prides itself on itself. What bothered me most was the general fake vibe the bar gave off. It seemed like they were trying to impress with a luxurious look, but in reality it was just a facade without any depth. I started to feel like I was being cheated by Twenty Seven Hotel's marketing. My advice to would-be visitors: save yourself the trouble and go to renowned cocktail bars like Waldorf or Pulitzer, where the staff actually understand how to deliver a high-quality cocktail experience. Twenty Seven Hotel's bar still has a long way to go before they can compete with the real best in town.

Beautiful place, nice atmosphere and nice toilets. Service very helpful and caring. They automatically give free water for drinks.

When we arrived at the hotel, our jackets were collected and stored in a cloakroom. The staff also called the elevator for us and briefly explained how to get to the bar - very attentive. The first impression of the bar was really good. The design of the furniture and the rooms is very high quality. In addition to a main area where the bar is located, there are two smaller rooms in case you like to enjoy more privacy. The drinks were very good and on point. Many of the drinks had that certain something. For example, the Gold Digger cocktail is not only an outstanding drink, but also stands out visually with its glittering and moving gold in the drink. The mixologist was very well trained and always had an eye on all the guests. He was able to tell a short story about many of the cocktails, which significantly enhanced the cocktail experience. As soon as the cocktail was almost empty, he came over and brought the menu. Small snacks were refilled several times. This bar really is very high quality and the mixologists work at the highest level. I can therefore say that it is one of the best cocktail bars I have ever visited what made it really hard for us to leave. The cocktail menu is also regularly updated, which invites you to come back. We will definitely do so when we are in Amsterdam again and can recommend this bar to every cocktail fan and people that like to enjoy drinks in an upscale atmosphere.

Great (cocktail) bar hidden in a hotel. Luxurious and soothing; you feel like a millionaire for a moment. The entrance and reception is overwhelming. In the building of the Royal Industrial Groote Club (for history lovers). Not for the small budget...

Had 4 cocktails, each of them top 20 I have ever had. Knowledge of bartenders, have to try the White Truffle Old Fashioned, and the Great Gatsby!
