This bar is fantastic- very unique and delicious cocktails with very knowledgeable and personable bartenders. As an operations consultant for Michelin restaurants I would recommend this to anyone high or low brow. Will absolutely be back next year.

Great service but cheesy atmosphere

We went to the bar for the first time and it was fantastic, we loved it. I highly recommend it; it's very centrally located and they have a wide variety of cocktails and other drinks. We were impressed that It's inside a very stylish and elegant hotel. The bar staff is very dedicated and friendly, and they recommend drinks based on your tastes and preferences. Luis, in particular, accompanied us throughout the entire experience and recommended the perfect cocktails. Every single one he recommended was excellent. In conclusion, all the bartenders were very friendly and professional.

My favorite bar during my trip to Amsterdam. I was here before my meal at Bougainville and I came back for the incredible drinks & staff. Specifically Jose & Joan. They made each drink perfectly and made me feel at home

An absolutely stunning place—so luxurious, so ridiculously expensive. I mean, they’ve got a diamond vitrine right by the staircase and gold-plated tableware, which is clearly essential. But a wheelchair-accessible restroom? Oh, heavens no, that would just ruin the 'aesthetic.' Who needs basic human rights when you have gold-plated cups? You guys definitely need to upgrade your priorities, not just your decor.

Really delightful cocktails. Cosy and comfortable setting and atmosphere. Menus must have been brand-spanking new cos they were stiffer than I am in the mornings. We thoroughly enjoyed the drinks and service, the food left a bit of room for improvement. Pizza is a bit small and awkwardly cut for the even distribution of toppings. If you know how you're going to cut and portion the slices, the toppings should reflect that. The food menu in general needs a few more interesting additions because nothing really inspired us to order. We were quite ready and looking forward to tuck into some bar snacks but struggled to make a choice. Was really professionally welcomed at the entrance downstairs, it was a warm first impression. Lovely decor and design of the entire space. Although the entrance opening to what looks like a room service preparation area was kind of weird. Made us think we had gotten off on the wrong floor.

TwentySeven is a beautiful and stylish place with a luxurious atmosphere. The staff is friendly and ensures a pleasant service experience. Coll bar on a 3rd fl inside a hotel. Attentive staff , yummy drinks. They have signatures cocktails & classics. They also give you nuts & water with the drink. I was there for one drink only around 6 pm so not many plp. Looked more for a night out kind of place with a dj booth. Has a view to the Dam square.

The classy ambient combined with the warm colors makes the whole experience unique. We are welcomed downstairs and led to the lifts. Upstairs passing the entry you get into a very comfy place, with chique decoration. The selection of cocktails with the descriptions are very varied and tasy. We were sitting next to the window to enjoy the views. We will definitely come back, probably also to stay at the hotel.

Great atmosphere - super friendly service - fantastic craft cocktails. I would go here every week if I lived nearby for the atmosphere alone - we felt so welcome due to not only the seating layout and decor but also the incredible staff. We had such a great time we came back the next evening. Luis (bar manager who will be in charge of the bistro expansion coming soon) recognized me and my wife right away and said that it made his day that we returned. If you want genuine people surrounding you - Louis is spot on when it comes to making you feel included. Our bartender, Jose (aka Se’) struck up a conversation with us as he was crafting drinks better than anything we have ever had. (which is plenty). He has worked with some of the best and his level of attention to detail in craft cocktail making is unmatched. He just made a ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ champagne cocktail that is perfect if you like complex drinks with a backstory ( why and how the staff created the drink, etc). And if you get a chance, talk to Luca (from Italy) who was also always there for us with a witty comment and a pat on the back. Seriously- if you want to have the best craft cocktail experience of your life - go here.

You'd never guess there's such a great bar here just by walking past. If you happen to find out about it and take the elevator through the hotel lobby to the third floor, you'll end up in a very expensive, but absolutely beautiful bar. The drinks are just as wonderful as the view.

Their signature old fashioned coctail is strange, l regreted the drink. It is supposed to have hazelnut and you definitely do not taste it. It also has truffle oil, which leaves a strange taste in mouth. Although a classic old fashioned is my fave coctail, this was rather disappointing. They are not cheap either. The hotel looks nice and bar on a lively night must be cool but it was dead empty when we were there (weekday) and coctails were a let down. We’ve found much better bars in the city with better drinks so would not recommend.

We went for a few cocktails and I highly recommend it. The view is lovely, the decor is very elegant, and most importantly, the cocktails are excellent. There's a lot of creativity in the preparation of the cocktails, using very high-quality ingredients. The staff is exceptional, and I want to thank Luis, who gave us great advice and served us very well.

You can taste that they take their cocktails seriously here. No syrupy stuff, just real flavors. The bartenders know what they're doing and even ask about your preferences. The music is pleasant, the crowd is mixed. Sometimes a bit too crowded, but that's understandable when it comes to quality.

We wanted a cozy ambiance to celebrate our friend in the Dam area and Bar TwentySeven was the best decision. Matteo was very friendly, and gave great recommendations for my drinks and we loved every bit of the service. 🤗🤗

Popped in here for a pre-dinner cocktail. I absolutely loved the place. Situated on the third floor of a five star hotel, I received five star treatment from the minute I arrived until the minute I left. Upon entering the stylish building, I was greeted by the concierge who took my jacket and directed me to the lift. The cocktail bar itself is very stylish with great views over the Dam. The choice of cocktails is great with prices ranging from about €18 to €600 (yes, that is correct: it contains a very, very special alcoholic drink). I opted for the Pornstar Martini #2, which contained white chocolate as one of the ingredients. It was delicious. The staff could not have been any friendlier. I will definitely be returning there.

Celebrated my friend’s birthday and we had Mateo serve us, excellent service, great atmosphere, nice music, amazing ambience and lots of picture spots… The cocktails are to die for, came here based on others reviews and it was everything and more. I will definitely be coming back 😁

This bar could be considered one of the best in Amsterdam. The customer service is impeccable, the staff are very friendly, and when you ask for recommendations and they explain the cocktails, you can tell they really know their stuff, which inspires confidence. The cocktails were delicious.

Extremly nice atmosphere and incredible staff that handled me being a little rude extremly well. My first cocktail was not tasty at all and I choose to not finish it which the staff instantly reacted to and tried to give me recommendations to other cocktails which i tried and they ended up being pretty good but still not anything to extraordinary. They even ended up not charging me for my first cocktail which i found surprising. The location is great with nice bathrooms and AC which kept their bar at a nice temperature. Their cocktails could be better but they definetly make up for it with everything else. Great place for a date.

We enjoyed the bar nuts they provide to all customers; we didn't order food in the bar. The drinks were made to perfection. These bartenders are experts! The atmosphere is perfect. Very cool vibe! Came during sundown on a Thursday night and I got to say one of the best Negronis I’ve ever had. The gal got a grapefruit drink and it’s perfectly balanced. Love the atmosphere here

I've been to many of the "Top 50 bars" in the world, and I would argue this was the best cocktail lounge I've ever visited. The level of execution was next level, with interesting flavor pairings that don't stray into off-kilter for the sake of being different. I tried simple and complex drinks and everything was A+. The service was excellent and not stuffy considering the luxury vibe. The food was also quite good.

Beautiful space and location, the staff is very nice and attentive – you already feel at home once you enter the building downstairs. I had the bloody Mary and it was very refreshing and interesting. However, 75% of the glass is filled with a massive ice cube. I saw the same at my friend’s cocktail. Bit disappointing, given the price.

Walked in without a reservation one afternoon and had such an amazing experience! Louis and Joan made me feel like an absolute VIP even took the time to explain some of the finer points of how to make my favorite cocktail - the gin martini. I would recommend a reservation maybe after 6pm? The place really started to fill up with the before dinner crowd.

Quality of cocktails is good. I had the Caroni, fermented Daiquiri and the bees knees. Some kaarage too (very juicy!). The drinks where good, but I didn't get why they but the huge ice cubes in the coupette glasses? The bees knees was really good. All in all, not an extraordinary cocktail experience, but a good one. Still I'd recommend some other (hotel) bar right over the streets if you are looking for the extraordinary!

We only had the chance to visit Bar TwentySeven on our last night in Amsterdam, and we wish we had stopped by sooner! Even on a Monday night, the atmosphere was fantastic, and thanks to Marcelo’s amazing drink suggestions, we had an unforgettable evening. The cocktails were top-tier, the service was impeccable, and we even ended up closing the place down! Next time, we’ll be sure to visit more than once—highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional bar experience in Amsterdam.

PERFECTION. Quiet, reserved, elegant. This place is like an oasis from the chaos of the streets of Amsterdam center. It was recommended by the American Express concierge and it was definitely the best choice. People in Amsterdam (in general) are very kind and they offer very good service, but here you will find another level.

The place is nice and clean but I find it a bit boring. The staffs were good and friendly but I didn’t liked the approach of the female waitress. She was a bit rude sorry

Best cocktails, amazing service, wonderful ambiance!! It is worth it! As a couple, we drank 7 cocktails and all of them were excellent. Also some bar bites. The waiter was so attentive (thank you Joseph🤩) and they were all very kind: entering the building, taking my coat, bringing us up with the elevator, and giving us a great seat. Lovely kind people with 5 star service quality. Loved it! Each cocktail costs on average ~€20, and absolutely delicious.

Super vibey spot, definitely an upscale lounge feel with dim lighting and some super fun cocktails to choose from! The bellman was very welcoming and attentive, he took our jackets and gave directions to make sure we found the bar easily upstairs. When leaving, he asked how we enjoyed it, and helped us put on our jackets - above and beyond service! At the bar itself, the staff was very friendly, and welcoming as well. They were always around but gave us our space to enjoy our drinks and chat We had a great time!

Beautiful elegant bar. It's just a shame that the music is played very quickly. No match at all with the ambiance of the bar.

I meant to write this review when I was there around September 2- 7! I want to start by saying the service was outstanding. I’d searched endlessly for a martini and found the most perfect one right at this bar! Anything you needed they made it! All while being amazing, felt like I didn’t need to go to any other bar. Hence coming back but more importantly the people the people there were phenomenal and I think it would be insane for me not to give them a round of applause as the team effort to make it such an experience! special people mentions to Josze, Nathan, Brent, Francesca, Francia, Marcelo! (I hope I spelled everyone’s name right! ) You guys are so brilliant and talented at what you all do! I can see why this place was rated by Michelin guide. I can’t wait to see what more this team offers in the future! Thank you guys so much for making my stay in the Netherlands memorable and for my short time there making me a repeat client! Service is top notch, the drinks are more art than gastro and the ambience hits the spot. Love it, and it's one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam. They have a wide and top shelf selection of several types of drinks. I tried the different variations of clase Azul with them, along with some of the finest cocktails you'll find in NL. If you feel too decadent id suggest a liquid dinner which you can thank or punch me later for. Prices are top shelf but I find the experience including the amazing service worth it. I'll be back again soon and keep up the good work.

There is a fantastic menu of custom cocktails. The bartender talked to us about what we liked and then made some recommendations and he was spot on! The service was incredible which is really why you come to a cocktail bar like this. The drinks were excellent. They have a very high quality liquor selection as well, if you prefer your drinks straight up.

The people who work here are fantastic. Utmost respect & quality cocktails.

Some of the best cocktails I've ever had in my life!! The cocktail with the japanese whisky and tea (omikase?) just unbelievable. And pornstar #2 was also very good. Service is AMAZING. The absolute nicest people are working here. They made the experience so much better especially since I spent much of the days sitting in the bar working. Alex, Jose, and Marcelo you guys are the best!! The place is also beautiful.

Bar TwentySeven, is renowned for its luxurious yet casual ambiance. Nestled within Hotel TwentySeven, the bar offers stunning panoramic views of the city, including iconic landmarks like the Royal Palace and the De Bijenkorf department store. It has a great cocktail selection, developed by a top-notch team of bartenders and it offers a luxurious ambiance, and exceptional service even during busy times.

After consultation with the owner, it was handled very neatly: something had gone wrong and we received the bill from the neighboring table. This was more than neatly resolved afterwards and the review adjusted accordingly. We think the limoncello Fiorito in the Netherlands is the tastiest, the freshest, and therefore good. The place is a bit pricey, but you might expect that when you look at the location and design.

On Monday May 6, my girlfriend and I had an unpleasant experience at the bar, but after contacting management the problem was resolved quickly and professionally. Thank you for the good service and compensation.

We were looking for some vintage speak easy inspired bar and got this tacky little bar with horrible music and ugly neon decoration. It feels like a cell phone/electronic shop. The waiter was very friendly and explained everything about the cocktails but they were just average and expensive.

I went only to the bar, twice, not the restaurant: Awesome drinks, very helpful and nice staff, and atmosphere is also great, at the third floor of this fancy hotel, right by the side of the Dam. All this has a bit of a cost: it's on the expensive side. Since drinks are the star of the place: besides great craft in the making and BEAUTIFUL presentation, drinks are also very creative, with all sorts of unexpected flavors and ingredients (they are even able to re-distill things, making a coffee drink that's totally transparent, or a bloody mary that's translucent and pink). great place for starting the night, and for drink lovers! Every drink I tasted was great, particular highlight to the impressively-served Margarita.

My friends and I were scolded by staff no less than five times for not having a reservation in their otherwise empty bar. I would not go back.

This was the bar where they had a Remembrance Day arrangement. With a snack and a drink you could experience Remembrance Day up close.
