One word to describe this place: AMAZING! We’ve had such a lovely service by a group of great servers. The food was incredible, we were really amazed by the quality of it. 10/10 would recommend here, and I will definitely be coming here quite often now whenever I crave good Italian food!❤️

Friendly service and we had a delicious meal.

I had high expectation for this place cause of the reviews but the food was bad. The carbonara was extremely salty and the tagliatella al ragu was blend and not amazing .what made it worse was that when we told them politely that we didn't like the food they weren't at all open to a slight criticism and treated it as if we don't know good food.

Cozy authentic Italian restaurant with correct and friendly service

Extremely overpriced for how small the portions are. I finished eating the main course in under 3 minutes, which is ridiculous for 25 euros. The food is good, but unfortunately nothing special. They brought us some bread with olive oil when we arrived and at some point they asked us if we want some more bread. The food took over 1 hour, so I assumed they wanted to make up for it, but no, we were charged 5 euros for 5 tiny pieces of bread. Very disappointing experience overall.

A top restaurant! There is a cozy atmosphere and the service is very good. The staff is competent and friendly. The food is very tasty, I can definitely recommend the pasta carbonara and dare to say that I have never eaten such a tasty carbonara. The lava dessert with pistachio was also delicious. We sat at a table next to the door, but we were not bothered by that at all. It was nice and warm inside. The portions are not very large, if you are a big eater I recommend going for three courses. I will definitely come back here again!

The carpaccio and olive oil was delicious. The service was also fantastic. But DO NOT order the pasta in the parmaggiano wheel. That tastes purely like SPIRITUS. They were very sweet and offered us new pasta, but it tasted purely like spirits. Normally this type of pasta is made with sherry or another type of alcohol, but they made this pasta with spirit. Very dirty. But again, the rest was very tasty and the service very good.

Had dinner at Bar Gallizia this week with a group. Everything I tasted was tasty. Compliments to the chef. Don't order another wine after a bottle of Amarone, seriously, don't do that. That Amarone was/is too good!

The food is not bad but overpriced. Especially the starters! And by the way, it’s not Italian at all. Don’t be fooled! It’s a marketing trick … for most Dutch it is great, but what do they know about food?

A truly delicious meal, but the service was still a bit messy. We had to repeat our order a few times, the food was half wrong, the receipt at the end was also incorrect. They were nice too, but it was really too chaotic even though it wasn't full and they seemed to have enough staff.

Nice quiet and cozy place. the food is good. we ate fresh fish and a delicious tuna tartar. A tasty pistachio cake. Everything was very good and the waiters were all kind.

We tried the calmar salad and the tuna tartar as a starter. Both were delicious and fresh ! We had the grilled octopus, and the ravioli. Portions are not big but the quality is there and you can feel that there is some creativity and work on how they combine the flavours ! It was really tasty ! Deserts we had the Panasonic cotta and the Tiramisu. Again delicious ! Highly recommended ! I'll come back for sure !

Attention Business Men: In this restaurant it is not possible to split a bill into 'business' and 'private'! I lost €50 in cash because I couldn't submit the invoice to my client.

Surprisingly good!!! Food was great, a lot wines by the glass available as well. Maria is very knowledgeable about all the wines and has a good sense of humor. We will be back for sure!!

We’ve been on business dinner in this restaurant. It looks fancy even though location is not very central. Service was nice, but unfortunately food didn’t impress me. We had preordered meal with meat, fish or vegetarian option. For meat option there was beef but unfortunately waiters didn’t ask clients if meat should be medium rare or not and everyone got medium rare so many people just didn’t eat it as not everyone likes it this way. I chose fish, it was sea bass but unfortunately it was probably the worst sea bass I ate in my life, not sure how they managed to spoil it but it had no taste at all. Dessert was quite ok, it was tiramisu, not the best but not the worst either. So maybe it was because of preordered food but unfortunately I would not go there again.

One of the best carbonaras I have ever eaten - very delicious! Followed by the chocolate soufflé which was also amazing - highly recommended if you are in the area. I found the single glasses of wine a little small in volume - but great wine.

This is a nice little bar and italian deli shop during the day. The owner and his staff are such nice people, they sell great coffee and make delicious paninis. Great selection of italian products like different types of pasta, also fresh pasta, wine and balsamico etc.

What a delicious meal we had! We received a super friendly welcome too! Really enjoy! A restaurant with a heart for the customers and the food, highly recommended!

We just went for a walk around our neighborhood then found this restaurant so we gave it a try. The atmosphere is really cozy and the staffs welcome us warmly. The menu was only in Dutch and maybe Italian but none of us understands neither of those languages so we used google translate. The staff saw how we struggle to read the menu and she was kind to translate and explained us the menu. We both love all dish we ordered. The pasta is very good and meat is so tender. The beef steak cooked perfectly and I finished everything on plate (even try to finish the sauce!). The salad is so fresh and goes really well with dressing. We will definitely come back again to try other dish!

This restaurant is way overpriced for what you get. The ambience is somewhat nice with a nice open kitchen, but could use a bit more love, especially in the back of the restaurant. We ordered the ravioli for 18,50 euro but all we got was 6 small ravioli which I finished in 2 minutes, bruschetta was very small and not very special for 9 euros. The meat (maindish) was alright but also very small for the price you pay. We left the restaurant disappointed, hungry and with 67 euros less in our pocket. We went for a doner kebab opposite of the restaurant after we left. When you charge those prices, please deliver accordingly. We were not even asked how we liked the food or if we want a desert and we waited in general very long for everything, all these things are very basic things for a restaurant of this price class. Not to recommend :(

Heerlijk gegeten maar jammer genoeg de bediening was niet attent. Duurde lang voordat we ons eten kregen. Daarnaast al wij wat vroeger werden we genegeerd. Jammer! Want het is een leuke plek.

Heerlijk eten en super vriendelijk personeel! Zeker een aanrader en een super avond gehad! Lang geleden dat wij zo mooie avond hebben gehad, dankzij de serveerster Maria een fijne dinner gehad! De scropino zijn erg lekker.

Ik vond vooral de voorgrechten heel erg lekker. Als hoofdgerecht heb ik zwaardvis genomen, was ook prima. Bediening was vriendelijk, zeker een aanwinst voor de javastraat, we komen zeker terug.

Hoofd gerecht biefstuk zonder groenten. Toetje -tiramisu- ik heb een stukje plastic gevonden. Heb aan de ober gemeld, de antwoord was dat hij kan niets aan doen. Zal nooit meer daar extern

Recommendation from Viking host Kevin and he also made a reservation for our dinner. Great ambience and authentic food. Open kitchen concept that puts out amazing dishes. Also, had a great wine selection as well. The owner came to the table to express his gratitude for us dining with him and he began to talk about the family history associated with the restaurant. Great to see a family tradition continue. Even though we were visiting tourists we were treated as though we were family.

A lovely cozy place on a bustling street! The burrata was delicious! The carbonara supreme! Wonderful patient staff that answered our million questions! Great wine list and the music was nice as well!

We've been twice, as well as frequenting the deli next door several times a week, and the service and quality consistently deliver. The wine list is as amazing as the food, although small it is well curated and pairs masterfully with the dishes.
