The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Alfredo with chicken and cream, and I also had grilled chicken with my breakfast. The food was wonderful and definitely worth trying; I'll definitely order again.

We were a group of four with a total bill of around 45 EUR and were asked to leave because this was considered too low. There was no information about a minimum spend anywhere, neither at the entrance nor before being seated. The staff member was rude and unprofessional. Sending guests away due to a low bill without prior notice is unacceptable. If a restaurant expects a minimum spend, this should be clearly communicated in advance. I would not recommend this place. There are many Italian restaurants in Amsterdam that treat their guests with respect.

I was pleasantly surprised by Casa di Sergio. The location and cheap price make it seem like it would be a tourist trap, but the pasta was actually excellent. The lasagna gratinata is a must try, and the wine was really nice too. Definitely worth coming for a nice bite of Italian food

First time eating here before. A quaint little place, cosy with unbelievable vibes. The service staff are incredible making jokes and almost feels like an immersive experience… and the food, whether before or after a smoke it tantalises your tastebuds

A busy restaurant accommodating reservations and walk ins. Great food, everything we had was very tasty, I’d recommend the Lasagna Gratinata with Gorgonzola and the focaccia. The service was excellent, would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is outstandingly good. The service is friendly and efficient. The quality of the food and the expertise of the chef create delightful dishes. The atmosphere is great; friendly and convivial without being at all loud or oppressive. I've eaten in 4 and 5 star restaurants across Europe and I would recommend Casa Sergio to anyone.

They want to know every order upfront if not you cannot sit . I am not sure why they can’t say that upfront . Waiter was very rude he just does not know how to talk to customers . I would like 0 stars for the service

The guy waiting tables made us get up and leave after we sat down and tried placing our order for drinks. Apparently they don’t let people order just appetizers and drinks! Extremely rude!! Place was really empty when this happened. Better restaurants close by.

I tried the Pizza Diavola. The dough was great and the cheese on top was very delicious. It wasn’t as spicy as you’d expect from a Diavola, and overall it was a bit mild. It was also a little oily/greasy, but still tasty. You could say it was a good pizza, though it could’ve been better. The staff were nice and friendly, and the toilet was very clean.

A delightful little restaurant at a very affordable price. We ordered garlic bread to share, two homemade lasagnas, ice cream, tiramisu (excellent!), and two Cokes for €63. It's very inexpensive, the atmosphere is very cozy, and the servers are very friendly.

Had a drink and desert last night. Its the only place I went in an Italian restaurant in Amsterdam where they actually spoke italian. So I went back w my wife and adult daughters who have been to Italy many times. Short version is the staff is really friendly and the food top notch. We had grilled fresh anchovies, 2 different ravioli, bolognese, punta nesca, 3 deserts . All keepers. Try it.

This place is seriously underrated. The best thing is the service. The guys immediately put you at ease. They told me about the menu, the wine, and Italy, and even offered to take a photo with the restaurant's name in the background (my name is Sergio, after all). We ordered two appetizers and two pastas. The portions were very large and delicious. I also loved the red wine. My wife loved it. We'll definitely be back.

We originally were planning to go to the other Italian restaurant a couple of doors down, but they turned us away for not having a reservation even though there was not a single person dining inside OR outside at that time. We ended up at Casa di Sergio instead as the manager was outside who warmly welcomed us in! Not only was the food and wine delicious, the staff were even entertaining and chatted with us as well. We got pizza and pasta, both with burrata on top. This was the best meal of our 2 week trip and definitely worth a visit. I haven't stopped thinking about it since we went and had to come back to write a review!
