We recently had dinner at Meat & Fish in Leimuiden, and it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. The menu offers a good mix of options, but two dishes really stood out for us. The spicy chicken burger was flavorful with just the right amount of heat—tender chicken, well-seasoned, and satisfying without being overwhelming. The entrecôte was also excellent, cooked to the right temperature and full of flavor, making it a highlight of the meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. While there are a few areas where the restaurant could refine things a bit, overall it’s a solid spot for a good meal in Leimuiden. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re in the mood for a hearty burger or a nicely prepared steak. Boat views are also great.

The service itself was fine, but there weren't enough people, so we sometimes had to wait quite a while for our food or drinks. It's still a place we enjoy visiting, and we hope the owner can attract more people soon.

The food was very good, but sometimes too salty (according to several people dining together). The staff was a bit forgetful, especially when it came to the language. The tables were a bit too close, though it wasn't as intrusive as people coming in from the boats. The menu was very unclear when ordering through the SD app.

It took a bit of finding the perfect location, but it was a very pleasant experience. The food was fantastic! We booked through Social Deal, which saved us a lot of money, but it was a huge success.

On Tuesday, July 22nd, we had dinner here with nine people. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, it took a very long time to arrive, over two hours. This really needs to be improved, as it will put me off coming back. The service, however, was very friendly.

The wait for food was far too long, and the side dish arrived afterward. The main course arrived between 6:30 and 8:30 PM. It wasn't busy. A family group of 10 people and 3 tables occupied. We didn't get any drinks between 6:30 and 8:45 PM, two at most after asking!!! No baguette. We were so hungry that after waiting an hour for a starter, we asked for a baguette. No, it was 8 minutes max. It ended up being 30 minutes. Things can always go wrong, but this is absurd.

Very nice and clean place. The food was really delicious. Only the service was very slow with taking orders and we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food. The table was only cleared after 30 minutes when we asked for it. We had to ask ourselves if we could order something, you don't really feel seen by the staff. It wasn't full, so it lacked something in terms of service for us.

Nice service, but sat for over 2 hours before we had something to eat. If you ordered a drink it took at least 20 minutes before it was on the table.

We thought we would have a bite to eat here. Made a reservation at 18:30. Although it wasn't very busy, it took a long time (21:00) before the main course was served. If you want to eat quickly, I would tell them. Luckily we had the time. We had a very nice meal and will definitely go back.

The service was a bit lacking in attention to us at first (but that was also because the terrace and restaurant were quite full), so we just had to accept that, but otherwise we enjoyed ourselves at Meat & Fish at the harbour.

Because we had once had a good lunch here, we invited friends for dinner today. There was hardly any service tonight. Only young people and no organization. They only came when you picked them up. Furthermore, they deliberately looked past you so as not to have to help. Let alone that someone would proactively ask if you wanted something else to drink. Zero customer focus. If you had ordered something, it was immediately forgotten so we usually had to get it from behind the bar to order again. Heard many excuses but saw no improvement. The food was okay for 2 people and very substandard for 2. The Tournedos was a very cheap steak from the supermarket and overcooked. The pork tenderloin was completely overcooked, snow white on the inside, tough as foam rubber and no taste. The knife just got stuck in it. The chef knows that because he cuts it into pieces in the kitchen. Sorry but that was the last time. Doesn't fit in at all with the otherwise very premium marina. We had invited guests and I was quite ashamed.

We had a great meal here. We got it as a gift from the daughter of a friend. Mustard soup / tomato soup It was very tasty. Then a pulled meat sandwich and Carpagio. This was also very tasty on a crispy roll Nice staff. So Definitely recommended to go there.

Nice hidden place in a marina. It is called Aalsmeer, but is just outside Leimuiden. Nice terrace. Friendly and this time nice and attentive young service (which is often much less elsewhere). Great meal. I'm not a dessert person, but Love at the Haven is delicious. Excellent entrecote, delicious asparagus soup. But oh…how expensive it all is! If I get my main course after 1.5 hours, I don't feel like having dessert anymore. But still, dessert was worth the wait!

Let me start with the location. This one was really great. But it could be even better if the service had paid more attention to the guests... The very young ladies still have a lot to learn... First of all, we had to wait way too long for the (lunch) menu! So long in fact that at a certain point I took them myself (we were sitting inside and the ladies were mainly busy outside. Then I waited a long time until the order was taken (fortunately we were served drinks a bit more quickly). After almost 45 minutes the soups finally arrived. An asparagus soup (which tasted more like a chicken soup, including two stray pieces of asparagus in it) and a lobster soup (which unfortunately cannot be chopped! Far too strong and no taste! jes and grass Parmesan. Fortunately, when reporting that the salad was not completely complete, it was quickly replenished, but with the comment that this was all there, but just a little too little of everything... Excuse me!? Well I can tell you that the missing ingredients were definitely not there (from the beginning), but oh well! Finally, when paying, I was asked again if everything was to my liking (well, unfortunately not really...) but that didn't really bother the lady in question, because I could still pay for the extra supplements from the card. And because it was Mother's Day, I saw that all the other previous ladies received a beautiful rose with an envelope when they left. But not us... A bit of a shame! Conclusion: NOT worth repeating!

A bit of a quiet night but we had a wonderful meal and great service here.

We had Christmas dinner here with our company and even though we arrived much later than booked, due to an accident that meant no one could cross the bridge, the staff took care of everything fantastically. They waited politely and were extremely understanding. The food was delicious and the restaurant looks beautiful. A truly great experience! Thanks for the great service!

Beautiful terrace on the water, the table we sat at was not cleaned. The menu shows a whistle of beer or a vase, both are not tapped, but an intermediate size, while the price for a vase is calculated. The bitterballen were put down without a napkin, which was a pity because they were very greasy. Tried here 3 times. 3x is a charm, we won't come here anymore.

We ate here for the second time and it was really good. Good and extensive menu, very friendly staff, clean, when the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace under a parasol and behind glass. Also nice to sit inside. An absolute must!.

The restaurant has been nicely renovated, but the food has deteriorated considerably. Limp mealy fries, dry prawns, old bread without butter, mushrooms from his grandmother and an HB from here to Tokyo. Once, never again.

Catastrophe. We ate here for 2 days, everything was great and mega. Our waitress had the day off and it was a huge failure. Ordering food only works after a special request. Food comes......, but only for 3 and not 7 people. Operation can be forgotten if the correct operation is not there. The taste of the food was perfect today too.

What a pleasant discovery! We moored our boat and reached our reserved table within 10 steps. Delicious food. The dishes are served with great imagination and style. Just right amounts. My partner thought the vitello tonate could have been cut a little thinner, but the taste was great. Worth repeating.

Gen standaards carpaccio maar 1 met smaak en aandacht. Kleine aanpassingen aan de basis en daardoor zeer verrukkelijk. Ook het voorafje met rivierkreeftjes was heerlijk. Weer allerlei smaken in 1 gerecht. Het was echt smullen. Geen bizar grote porties. maar perfect pas. Jammer dat we niet in de buurt wonen anders waren we hier veel vaker geweest. Complimenten!

Heerlijk 3 gangen menu gekregen voor 50 personen op ons trouwfeest. Fijne bediening. Maar zomers komen wij ook vaak aanvaren (jachthaven Kempers) voor een heerlijke brunch of lunch op hun buiten terras. Iedere maand hebben ze een wisselend Jeff en Steve 3 gangen menu. Wil je ruim zitten. Rustig tafelen met vrienden of zakelijk. Laat je verrassen.
