Today, 25/9, enjoyed a delicious lunch on the sunny terrace of 'Het Tuinhuis'. The welcome and service were very friendly (as always). Had a delicious meal, steak sandwich and orange juice.

Atmospheric spaces and super friendly waitresses, and the food was delicious. The cheesecake is highly recommended!

A nice place in Aalsmeer to enjoy a cup of coffee or something tasty to eat. Definitely recommended!

This isn't the first time we've had lunch here, and we're very satisfied. Every time, the selection is extensive, and the dishes are very playful and tasty. The scones, to finish, were also absolutely top-notch. We sat outside this time, but the interior is always very atmospheric too. It certainly wasn't the last time we were here... keep up the good work!

Great food, great service, just the price is sometimes a bit unnecessarily high. Charging for a little ketchup on your toasted sandwich and a glass of tap water alongside a large lunch order is really outdated.

Had delicious mussels in the garden. Friendly, fast, and efficient service. Nicely decorated both inside and out. Easy to get there from Amstelveen by tram, stops right in front of the door.

A pleasant place for lunch, with a lovely terrace on both sides outside and plenty of tables inside. It is noisy inside, though. If you want to be sure of a spot, reservations are recommended.

This restaurant is beautifully situated, accessible via a small bridge. They have an extensive lunch menu. The homemade warm waffle with banana is truly delicious. Welcoming staff.

I visited you for the first time with a friend for lunch. The location is lovely, the surroundings are very uninviting, but the terrace is fine.

We had a High Tea in early July and everything was perfectly arranged and everything was delicious! Definitely worth repeating.

What a cozy spot by the water. We had a super tasty lunch. Everyone is friendly and helpful, top-notch service! A nice detail is that the delicious, crispy bitterballen with mustard mayo are served in a wooden block. A 10 for everything from us!

The food was delicious and the high tea was excellently prepared. Unfortunately, the service left us with a bad aftertaste. On a day of 38 degrees, we were sitting in a greenhouse, while one of us was 37 weeks pregnant. We therefore asked if we could sit outside. According to the wait staff, this turned out not to be possible for high tea, whereas regular food was served outside. All kinds of excuses followed: "we never do that," "everyone will want to go outside," "the food will spoil," "we can't get past there easily," and "everyone is struggling." At that moment, a maximum of four tables were occupied, so it didn't seem as if moving was impossible. We had actually expected that with this extreme heat and a heavily pregnant guest, there would be a bit more consideration. Being forced to sit inside when it's 38 degrees is downright scandalous. It's a shame, because the food was really good. Due to the rigid attitude of the staff, we will unfortunately not be returning here.

Tasty food at reasonable prices. The only thing they really need to change is the reservation system. I really got a flashback to what happens at some hotels abroad: reserving sun loungers by the pool with towels. If it's full, it can easily happen that you end up eating at a side table while several tables around you remain empty for a certain period because they are reserved 🫣

For Care Day (May 12), our employees received a voucher for the garden house so that they can enjoy a moment for themselves.

I specifically drove here for breakfast and initially had a very good impression of this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and the staff seemed friendly at first. I was even thinking about bringing my friends here next time. Unfortunately, the dining experience turned out to be very disappointing. I found a hair in the yogurt, but I politely smiled and informed the staff, simply asking for a replacement. Later, while I was still eating, a staff member suddenly asked me to change tables because the table was apparently reserved. However, nobody informed me of this when I was seated, and there was no reserved sign on the table either. When I tried to explain the situation, the staff responded very impatiently: “If you don’t want to move, you can continue sitting here.” There was neither an explanation nor an apology. What disappointed me most was not the table change itself, but the attitude and lack of basic respect toward customers. It completely ruined the positive impression I originally had of this place.

Picked this restaurant sight unseen for a client lunch. I had made reservations the day prior. The restaurant is cozy & cute. The food was delicious and filling. Several vegetarian options. Even a couple vegan items. Great atmosphere.

Street fair day in Aalsmeer, so busy, busy, busy. Perfect weather, table was ready at 1:00 PM after reservation, Els Mooyekind was there too. It was fun, beautiful weather, and the fact that it took a little longer due to the extreme crowds didn't spoil the fun.

Received very kindly upon arrival. We were allowed to sit outside. It was a sunny day, but it is also nice when there is a parasol. Service: you are served quickly, friendly and correct. Food very mediocre. I had a salmon salad. Little salmon, lots of lettuce, and little dressing. Asked for more dressing. I got it, but it was wasabi mayonnaise.🫣 funny in terms of presentation though. I had lunch at the tea house with a friend; we’ve been here often, so we were in the mood for a nice lunch. We reserved in advance because it’s always busy and lively. We sat at a small table, which made sitting awkward, so we sat opposite each other... the waitress wouldn't allow that because then she couldn't get to another table... it was noticeable, though, that she didn't use the space where we wanted to sit even once... we enjoyed the food and had a nice chat... when paying, we weren't allowed to split the bill but had to be paid per table... super inconvenient... she told us we just had to sort it out amongst ourselves via Tikkie... I didn't think this was polite... a shame...

Cozy, beautiful location. Incredibly busy on Saturdays; often the only spot on the terrace for spontaneous visits. And it closes early, but that's the case everywhere in Aalsmeer, really annoying. Saturday is a day when people like to go out and want to sit somewhere nice, but everything in Aalsmeer closes early again.

This is a lovely lunchroom with delicious sandwiches. The high tea is also very well-prepared. The location is beautiful. During the winter months, you can enjoy the lovely ambiance indoors, and in the summer, it's lovely outdoors for those who prefer. It combines well with a visit to the Historical Garden and the Westeinder Canal Cruise. So, besides lunch, it's also a great option for a wonderful day out.

This place is gorgeous, it has a magical, cozy atmosphere that invites you to relax and have a good time. Their food selection is quite limited but it is good. Their scones is a must have and depending on the time of the day you are visiting, usually the "Stevig Ontbijt" and their soups are quite nice. Make sure you reserve ahead cause they are usually full. The staff could do better, but in general you will have a good time there.

I had a reservation for three people at 12:30 today, and our food order arrived 15 minutes later. At 1:30, still no food. I asked how long it would take, and it turned out there were four more notes for us, and it would be another half hour. Unfortunately, we couldn't wait any longer and left without lunch, which was a real shame, as we were always satisfied before. This is not the kind of service we're used to.

The service is great: the waitresses are kind, smiling and really friendly. In addition, the restaurant is located right on the water, in a lovely little village, which makes the place even more charming. Honestly, it's one of the best brunches I've ever had, I 100% recommend it!

We waited an hour for the sandwich to arrive, and then it turned out to be a mistake compared to what we ordered.
