The pistachio latte is truly amazing and staff are always lovely. My only feedback is that it opens too late!

Nice coffee, a variety of coffee beans, and you can choose to brew your coffee with either Chemex or V60.

One of the few (if not the only) places to get filter coffee in Zuidas and it's phenomenal.

Come here for overpriced coffee, wait 10-15 min in line, then get asked to leave a tip at the self-order kiosk. Choose the ‘eat here’ option, but get your drink to go anyway - because there isn’t enough staff to handle dishes. 👍

Wow, what a brilliant café. I loved the atmosphere and vibe about the place, including the WiFi password written on a paint spray can. But more importantly, the quality of the coffee and hot chocolate we had was excellent. Delicious 👌🏻

Black Amsterdam Zuid has a great atmosphere, very welcoming and well-maintained. The baristas are experienced and friendly. We tried an espresso macchiato and an iced latte—both very good! A great place for a quality coffee break.

This man does not just serve coffee. He _Likes_ coffee and then serves it to show others.

Not really a coffee drinker, but I love this spot. They let you select from a variety of beans of different origins - Rwandan, Brazilian, Colombian, you name it. Absolutely delicious and a rich taste in and of itself. No need for milk or sugar at all!

Coffee is fine I just wish you could also order with the bartistas instead of only the display

My favorite coffee place in the Zuid area. Have been coming here for years. Really good coffee with a great selection of beans and types of coffee: from espresso and americano to filter coffee, aero press, etc. They also have nice desserts and even food, although I normally just come for the coffee itself. Really like the batch brew and V60

Edit: not even Starbucks makes me order using a kiosk. Sorry you lost me when you put that in. Im not paying the highest prices in the area to have no personal interaction. One of my all-around favorite coffee places in Amsterdam. Very good and consistent coffee. Attentive staff that takes pride in their work. And overall great atmosphere

What a fantastic gem this place is . The coffee is fantastic . Had a Brazilian blend double espresso and than a slow drip . The Barista is professional snd very friendly and can help you decide to your taste . We also had a cheese toasti that was lovely. Highly recommended

If you’re into coffee, this place is definitely worth a visit. They usually have great beans and know how to bring out the best in them. The quality is consistent, and you can tell the focus is really on the coffee. It does get quite busy around lunchtime.

Amazing coffee, barista and atmosphere

Picked up a cappuccino with hazelnut syrup and croissants. Fantastic cappuccino, the best I've ever had. The staff was very friendly. The croissant was delicious and you could taste that it was freshly baked. It's a bit tucked away due to the current construction at Amsterdam Zuid station.

Nice coffees, good in this area, but overall okay-ish

Their matcha is pretty bad quality... no flavor, green brownish color. It was not good at all. Do not recommend for matcha*** Don't know about coffee so take my comment if you're a matcha drinker. Also very expensive matcha for the quality... no balance in price/quality

Once you have coffee there, then all other coffee is ruined for you because it just doesn’t taste the same. On top of the unbelievably amazing coffee, all the staff are super friendly, and always take the time for a little chat. Surprisingly kid friendly as well! Great vibes, and even better coffee - you won’t regret coming here. Hope to come back again soon!

I always came here because I think the coffee is lovely but after waiting more then half an hour to get the wrong order twice I don’t think ill come here for a while.

I ordered the pistachio special and it was really delicious, nicely served too. And a friendly barista!

Best coffee we tried in Amsterdam, the perfect cortado! The service was amazing, the place is really nice and would recommend it any time.

Tried a super nice Ethiopia from Archers roasters (Brasil from Archers on the second grinder been available as well), batch brew filter coffee from my homelad's Beansmith, and met awesome people running the place. If you are at Zuidas, a must have place to go for every (specialty) coffee lover.

Amazing coffee place to wind down after a hard day of work.

I work nearby, so this has become my go-to spot whenever I have a bit of time to enjoy a coffee and take a break. The barista here never fails to make a perfect oat milk cappuccino, it’s always smooth and has just the right balance. I usually can’t resist grabbing a slice of their brownie or banana bread, both of which are super tasty. I think that what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. The wall art and overall vibe make it feel unique and personal, not like your run-of-the-mill café. It has a creative, welcoming energy that I really enjoy. The only thing I’d say is that it can get a bit noisy at times, so it’s not always ideal for working, but nothing a good pair of airpods can’t fix!

I am a coffee lover through and through. So if I don't like a coffee, I just throw it away. This was one of the best latte oat caramels I've ever had. I recommend everyone to stop here if you are in Amsterdam South. Love love love

We accidentally ordered extra tosti, asked them to cancel it, they did not! How hard it is to cancel the order! Other cafe does it all the time. On top of that, they gave us cheese tosti when we ordered tuna melt. Not the best service. Not coming back for sure. 👎

Great coffee break on office days

I ordered a flat white, a cheese sandwich, and a blueberry loaf. Everything was delicious. The sandwich came with crisps and ketchup. The loaf was moist and tender. The coffee was smooth and had a good flavour.

I was surprised to be charged €0.50 extra for oat milk here — especially in Amsterdam, where plant-based options are so common. Let’s break it down: most cafés use barista-quality oat milk like Oatly or Minor Figures, which cost around €1.80–€2.20 per litre wholesale. Dairy milk, even with EU subsidies, costs about €0.80–€1.00 per litre. A flat white uses roughly 200–250ml of milk, meaning the actual cost difference per cup is about €0.20–€0.30 max. So a €0.50 surcharge isn’t just covering costs — it’s boosting margins. Especially considering you don’t need to buy the most expensive oat milk. In a city known for sustainability and progressive values, it feels out of step to charge more for a climate-friendly option. Many cafés in Amsterdam (and across Europe) have already dropped the upcharge. I hope this spot will reconsider too — small changes like this go a long way in aligning with the values of your customers.

Coffee is great. Service at Kassa very good, but waiting time varies

As an Italian I feel like it's my duty to call this place out for being absolutely awful. A couple of things here: 1. 2 large cappuccinos @ €10.40 is an insane price tag - I get that you have to pay for your rent and that people in AMS Zuid have high disposable income but come on. 2. You have 2 people working there and can't produce more than 4 coffees in 10 minutes There's other issues like the blatant cultural grab of playing hip-hop music and fake graffiti walls, (which is ironic given it's the whitest place in the whitest part of Amsterdam) are less egregious than the 2 above. For the love of coffee, hire one person who actually knows how to make coffee (top tip: plenty of Mediterraneans who know how) and use the reduction in staff to pass on the lower cost to the consumer, charging something more reasonable. Christ.

A nice cafe to meet friends or have a coffee chat! But maybe a bit too loud for studying or working there. I had a good flat white and my friend had a pistachio latte! We both enjoyed it!

I love visiting this coffee spot for their delicious cheese sandwiches and refreshing açai bowls. Pairing them with a perfectly made cappuccino always makes my day!

I can't understand why, in the middle of winter, the café's doors are left wide open the entire time I was there (almost 4 hours), especially when it was only 4 degrees outside. It's super cold inside, and it also seems like such a waste of energy. To make matters worse, there's construction happening right across from the café. The open doors amplify the noise, making it even more unpleasant. And with the super loud music inside, the whole experience becomes quite nightmarish. It's a pity because the coffee is actually good. The café might be okay for grabbing something to go, but it's not comfortable to stay inside. I definitely won't be coming back.

Live near by within 250m and like to come here for a cup of cappuccino with oat milk. Coffee is always great, croissant and cakes are tasty but too pricy.

The coffee looked great but was average at best and sadly uninspiring. Milky with coffee flavor. Once you go blck, sadly I won’t go back. The toilets were clean.

The raspberry coffee is very delicious. We stayed for 3 hours and the atmosphere was very impressive. The staff is also very friendly.

Although I appreciated the coffee and the sleek urban aesthetic, I did somehow not find the place inviting for a longer stay. However, be sure to check it out if you need a break before taking a train from Zuid or coffee on the move.

Interesting design with graffiti in the middle of Amsterdam financial district. Good quality coffee, but I missed a lot. It lacked the wibe / ambiance and nice crowd, both in the working day after lunch and on the weekend. The baristas did not give me confidence as passionate coffee lovers. Black mugs for large cappuccino were appropriate for my taste, I like it is an original large porcelaine or clay coffee cup.

Visiting Amsterdam for 2 months and was looking for a good cafe to visit. Came across BLCK and instantly became my weekly visit. Great service and drinks. I really enjoy the design and atmosphere or the place which is why I kept visiting. They even have an arcade in the cafe which is pretty cool.

Terrible coffee and service for the price.

Definitely the best coffee in Zuid (I’ve tried them all), and one of the best I’ve ever had. Can vouch for the oat latte and cappuccino.

I was passing by on my way to work and stopped for a cappuccino with a nut milk. When I looked at the reciept there was an additional charge for a plastic top which I did not have on or was asked if I wanted (didn’t need). When I asked the man making my drink he said the charge was for the nut milk which is when I mentioned the plastic top charge. Dude looked away, didn't offer my money back. I felt embarrassed him and walked out smh. Sometimes Amsterdam really sucks.

Their special coffees ( whether it’s pistachio, red velvet or Spanish) are sooo good !! And the coffee they are using is amazing, I always like to go for an extra shot when going for the special coffees.

Matcha is in the iced coffee tab but there is no coffee its just milk matcha. Smoothies and juices are bottled and not fresh. Twice i ordered and twice i did not get what I expected

I used to visit this place occasionally during the past 2-3 years to grab some sandwich and coffee. And sadly my favorite smokey chicken sandwich not so good anymore - not “smokey” at all, some spices are missing, also feels like less filling… Was disappointed. Hope you can fix it!

This café is one of my favorites in Amsterdam. The coffee here is exceptional, and the baristas, especially Dani and Polli, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere feels very cozy, great to unwind and enjoy amazing coffee, and the food is incredible too (Note: I really love their açaí bowl).

For Jazzy Hip Hop Lovers and good coffee is the place to be in Amsterdam. Chill vibes inside and amazingly tasty coffee!

My favorite specialty coffee bar (by far) in the Zuidas. I come every morning when I'm working in Amsterdam. They are a team of well trained baristas that understand coffee/milk proportions and deliver outstanding whites everytime. They also serve fresh pastries, granola bowls and other lunch bites. The place is usually busy. Great seating too.

Nice pistachio latte. I think the only store of the town has pistachio/red valvet latte. Good to get them a try.. both are very sweet and delicious drinks💚❤

Been coming here since day 1 two years ago and can certainly say this coffee place is a wonderful asset to Zuidas. The coffee is delicious, the staff are all wonderful, the music is bouncy and the seats comfy. Great place to get some work done, have a chat and enjoy the chicken/cheese toasted sandwich! I usually drop by for a nice (batch brew) filter coffee or a flat white either alone or with friends. But their cold drinks are super tasty too. One of the few places at Zuidas that feel like a second living room.

Great service by Dani and Joe. I spent the whole day working there, environment was great and the coffee was great. Dani recommended a filtered coffee that turned out excellent!

If you're in a hurry, you better go somewhere else. Taking things slowly is being generous. They take their time to serve, to pay, to serve... yes, the coffee is incredible.

It was a premium cafe in the Zuid district of Amsterdam but it was worth every penny. My wife and I got some hot drinks, a juice and some granola here and the atmosphere and the refreshments were both exceptional. It was one of the first times in Amsterdam where we got more value than the price I think. Lovely place, lovely helpful staff who were kind enough to talk us through the options and really understood their coffee as well.

I can assure you you’ll always get your coffee right here 😙👌had been a client over a year now. So guess that already says something about it. The food is also good specially the crunchy sandwiches! The place itself is cozy and cool 😎.

With the sudden departure of the entire core staff from the past 1-2 years, wait times have increased in a fairly empty cafe and coffee quality has dropped significantly.

Really nice service from the bar staff and felt immediately welcomed. We tried the “Spanish” iced coffee (based from Dulce de Leche ) and it was great! The seats are plush and comfy.
