Brasserie-Bar X-press in Centrum

We wanted to order two milkshakes. This wasn't possible because we didn't want to order anything else with them... A bit strange, of course.

Exceptional experience, staff very friendly to kids.

Bizarrely bad place, ordered 3 pizzas at 18:20, called after 1.5 hours to ask where they were, and were told they were in the oven. Called again half an hour later and they said 'yes, they're on their way in 2 minutes' even though it's a 10-minute drive... called again after another half hour and suddenly nobody knows where our pizzas are! Never order here unless you order 4 hours in advance 🤡🤡🤡

Although a children's menu is listed, children are absolutely not welcome here. When we entered and asked for a table, we were offered one. When our children (4 and 2 years old) then took out their toys, a car and a horse, we were asked not to use them on the table. We understood that. However, when the children then went down to the floor and continued playing there (quietly, mind you), we were told that wasn't allowed either. We canceled the order we had just placed and left the restaurant. As we left, we naturally said that we were very disappointed. The owner said that children make noise. Ours weren't any louder than we adults were, except for our baby, who cried when we entered the restaurant but had already quieted down by the time we had taken off our jackets. I asked how the owner had been raised. He said, "Not in a restaurant." I replied that I felt very sorry for him, and then he subjected me to a barrage of insults. Very disappointing! And especially below the belt!

Good and reasonably cheap sandwiches, coffee is good, friendly staff, clean place
