Small, busy lunchroom. The food isn't particularly special, the menu is average. I found it quite pricey. Unfortunately, they don't offer sweet white wine.

Nice place to eat; friendly and tasty

A cozy brasserie within walking distance of the station. The interior is charming, a healthy mix of classic and modern, and it features an open kitchen. It's great to watch the chef at work! I really enjoyed the carpaccio salad, paired with a glass of delicious Merlot. It's a great place for lunch!

I visited with a neighbor and it was clear that we were not welcome. The waiter never came to us until the right type of people sat next to us and they first walked to these new guests to get their order. We would not advise this spot for POC.

Food is delicious and price/quality was okey and well plating but the wine was expensive and it was less than normal portion! Forgot to say: cosy, nice and clean place!

Lunch was delicious, with a very friendly young man serving. The ice cream had probably been sitting in the kitchen too long. It was already half melted.

A super fun place to eat in the middle of Eindhoven! My sister and I had a delicious meal and we will definitely come back here more often. We had a nice table right in front of the open kitchen — nice to see how everything was freshly prepared. As a starter we enjoyed a tasty lobster soup, followed by a delicious sandwich with asparagus. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Highly recommended!

An unexpected visit with an unexpectedly great experience. Not only because we were with super good company but also because of the great service. The chef who repeatedly let us taste delicious things, gave a nice explanation and also ate deliciously. I would normally not choose calf's liver but it was incredibly delicious. My girlfriend who never likes lamb because of the special taste and now licked her fingers. A great experience where you could see that the staff was working with pleasure. Tip: reserve table 7. Right by the kitchen where you have nice interaction with chefs and staff! Next time we will go back for the château Brian!

Super nice little restaurant in Eindhoven. A small but very good menu for eating. Everyone is very friendly here and it offers a very cozy atmosphere. We felt very comfortable here and the food was simply delicious.

Simply tasty burgers, friendly service. It's a pity that I had to open and pour the drinking bottles myself. Cheese board was also a bit limited in terms of cheese types. But otherwise just fine! Children received another bag of Skittles and were completely happy.

I specially loved the atmosphere, a cozy brasserie, the chef - Rene is sooo nice person! So lovely and cozy place with homecook food style. Just ask for recommendations from chef, or read the menu board(I noticed it late 😅) I took pea soup- very Dutch, and I kinda like it, I loved that chef explained which ingredients he used and how he cooked it, and I also loved to watch him while cooking, since brasserie is in style of open kitchen. It’s lovely to see someone loves what they do and that vibe makes your experience with that place unforgettable and u wish to go back there again. Very tasty meal. We had the chateaubriand with pepper and red wine sauce. Highly recommended. With nice and warm greetings. The meat was perfectly cooked and nice and tender. The service was very friendly and made sure we didn't miss anything. Fantastic.

Nice tent and friendly service. Food is meh, so price-quality is not ok either. E.g. 2 slices of bread with goat cheese and 3 walnuts for 15 euros?

Had a nice lunch on the terrace. After a latte macchiato we ate a delicious goat's cheese salad. I got some (brown) baguette with a delicious herb butter. Friendly service!

We were in Eindhoven for the first time and had been to the Bijenkorf and wanted to have lunch somewhere in the center. Because of the good Google reviews we went to Brasserie van den Berg. The sun was shining, there was a nice holiday atmosphere, and we received a warm and hospitable welcome. Delicious lunch for the three of us, a fairly standard recipe in itself; goat cheese sandwich, but they still made a delicious creation and the caramelized walnuts gave it a nice bite. The omelet dish was also tasty and the necessary attention was paid to the presentation. Friendly service and we received our food really quickly. All in all a good experience, which we can really recommend. ❤️ Thank you again.

Delicious food and served quickly

We had lunch here with our 2 dogs and 2 children. The food was very tasty and the staff was friendly. The table next door has been moved so that our dogs have enough space behind us. Really highly recommended. We Bavarians just have to get used to the small 200ml drink bottles 😅

The club sandwich with salmon was delicious. The current asparagus menus feature generous portions of asparagus.

Never had such a good carpaccio sandwich, price-wise, definitely worth it, which turned out to be that they cut the carpaccio fresh themselves, delicious, enjoyed it, will definitely come back!

We had lunch here and both ate the grilled chicken club sandwich. Very tasty and tender chicken. More than enough too. Friendly staff.

The best meal we had in Holland. The Lobster Bisque was like returning to France. Wuaw. The pieces of chicken in the cedar salad were superb. Excellent service and a very nice wine. Thank you for giving us this experience on our last day before returning to Copenhagen. 😘

Hyggelig mindre lille restaurant/brasserie. Vi spiste sandwiches. Rigtig lækkert lavet og serveret. Stedet ligger centralt. Kan anbefales.

Toen Eddy vd Berg nog zelf eigenaar was, kon je de beste hamburgers krijgen van Zuid-Nederland. Nu niet meer dan een smakeloze hap zonder gevoel voor smaak. Geen herhaling. Zonde.

Aangename brasserie in het winkelhart van Eindhoven. Klassieke keuken en dus geschikt voor alle leeftijden. De verwarmde overdekte buitenruimte met zicht op de winkelzone is extra gezellig bij kou of bij nat winterweer. Franse chansons op de achtergrond vervolledigen het fijne plaatje.

Beetje krap maar wel sfeervol. Lekkere koffie specialiteiten.

Great experience. The restaurant is small and has a nice atmosphere. The staff was super helpful and had great tips for us to help choose our dinner. The chateaubriand was super tender, it was a nice plate to share with two people. The chef also came to our table to talk about the food. Overall a super nice experience, we will come back here for sure!

Prima geluncht bij deze brasserie! Zo'n goede uitsmijter kaas heb ik lang niet gezien. Ook de toast classique en de twee kroketten van mijn gezelschap waren zeer goed. Bediening snel en attent. Prima tent!

It is the best restaurant in Eindhoven. They know the tastes. Chateaubriand tasted fantastic, and the chef came to us to ask our opinion. I also liked onion soup. And the dessert:))) Ask the waiter to help you to choose! I’ll be there again soon.

Heel erg lekker gegeten en gedronken. Ik had een bisque van kreeft die erg smaakvol was en bovendien leuk gepresenteerd. De Warsteiner was precies wat je van een tapbiertje hoopt: smaakvol, verfrissend en verslavend. Niet onbelangrijk, het personeel was erg vriendelijk en vlug, en ook de locatie is prettig. Al met al een aanrader!

Bit more expensive, but the staff was amazing and friendly. Well prepared food, it tasted amazing. The restaurant looks nice and you can look into the kitchen because they made it part of the restaurant. Not a lot of pedestrian traffic. So perfect to get a cup of coffee and enjoy the sun.
