Nice, old fashioned pub. Good Guiness. Didn't eat but the menu looked good with plenty of vegetarian options. Will be back soon.

Nice restaurant where you can still get a decent meal for a good price. Very diverse selection of beers for the beer lovers. Only thing I didn't like was the mice in the restaurant.

A super cozy Irish pub in the center of Eindhoven, just a one-minute walk from the station. They have a delicious Guinness on tap, of course. The food is also delicious, and they regularly have great specials on the menu! All in all, a super cozy, traditional Dutch pub to visit.

Located on the main drag, you're spoiled for choice! We stopped here for a beer. There's not much choice despite it being a pub, which is a shame. The prices, like everywhere else in Eindhoven, are very high!

On the recommendation of our cousin, a local, we had a bite to eat here. The price is very reasonable, and the menu is varied, featuring British classics as well as other options. The pub itself is incredibly cool; we sat in the back garden, which was also very nice. The food was incredibly delicious. Schnitzel with delicious green beans and a generously filled burger on a fresh bun. Despite the heat, the young woman serving was friendly and cheerful, yet efficient and quick. We will definitely be back!

De bediening heeft heel erg zn best gedaan...de glazen Guiness waren vol en lekker. De hamburger daarentegen was klein, erg doorgebakken en magertjes van garnituur. De friet was meerdere keren teruggegooid in het vet, hard en taai. Het kaasplankje werd zonder brood geserveerd en was erbarmelijk in uitstraling. (zie foto) Kostte wel 14 !! euro. Al met al niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Amazing pub! Excellent drinks, food and especially attentive staff. In 15 years this place never changed except for a great new vegan burger. Ask for the "under the counter" whisky to try something special.

If we have a concert in the area, we always eat here in advance. Delicious affordable food, nice service and very hospitable.

Met 14 personen een tafel gereserveerd. Keuze voor diner was zeer beperkt. Ontzettend lang moeten wachten. Calamares waren taai. Weinig saus bij de kogelbiefstuk die wel lekker was, prima sla er bij maar met 4 personen een kommetje friet delen is wel erg mager.

The best food and drinks in Eindhoven. If you are homesick for England, all you have to do is step inside and you will feel like you are back in England. The excellent dishes and delicious drinks always leave you wanting more. This also includes very nice service, the people who work here do it with passion and love for the business. Always a real pleasure to visit the Trefalgar Pub. I'm getting thirsty again while writing this review.

Great atmosphere, our base before we go to PSV. The food is of excellent quality.

Nowadays you often get those sad plates with beautifully arranged frot pieces of meat on a bed of wet vegetables with a dollop of fennel puree or something, but here you get beautiful full plates and also the sheppards, which were very generous and tasty. Starter (shrimp with gorgonzola) was also delicious and different than usual. It's all so neat that I took the time to write a review. That says something. Thanks, I'll be back!

We had drinks and snacks on it. The 8 piece appetizer with sauce was very tasty. They sell Jupiler and Duke Jan beer. I also had magner which was tasty too. She is a nice Irish pub in Eindhoven.

A nice pub in the city center not far from the station area, where upon entering both the atmosphere and the decor make you feel like you are in a pub, but still welcoming. Very good food and drinks, slightly slow service, normal price.

Just fine. If I'm there again I'll visit the pub again. The food is very tasty, the portions are sufficient, the atmosphere is excellent, the service is simply great and friendly and the prices are right. I was very pleased.

Bloody amazing pub. I would recommend anyone to go here for a drink or a bite. The amount of times I've left this pub fully fulfilled I can't even reckon anymore. The Guinness from the tap here is like some godly fluid and the Pies will leave you filled untill the next weekend. Staff's bloody brilliant too 10/10 would eat and drink here again. I don't care much for judgmental comments from a waiter. I had a scotch, and while having it I decided to have a pint of Old Speckled Hen as well. After ordering the pint, the waiter (middle-aged man) looks at me and goes: "so! on a Tuesday eh?!". Yeah, it's the Summer break.. so what? "Well, it must be really nice to have a scotch AND a pint as well at the same time! Wow!". Dude....

I never thought I would ever write a negative review about The Trafalgar pub but unfortunately the place seems to have deteriorated considerably since my last visit. We had to wait 2.5 hours for our food from arrival, which is simply too long. When my food, the round steak, arrived I was a little disappointed. My small piece of meat was surrounded by a crust of congealed unnaturally beige mushroom sauce (there were like 3 whole pieces of mushroom in it). To make matters worse, it was not medium-rare as I had requested, but medium towards well done. Neither the steak nor the sauce had much flavor. In summary: slow service, disappointing food and a decor that could use a lick of paint. Very unfortunate because I have always thought "de Traf" was a very nice place, but now it is starting to smell of faded glory.

I wanted to give 5 stars since it was such a good food (I ordered shepherds pie). I also ordered 2 0.5L beers - leffe bruin and hoegaarden, which if you see on the menu it would cost 5.50 and 5 euros per pint. However, that is not the case! The menu is misleading and you would have to pay 10 euro for those beers per pint !!!! since that price only reflects the small beer (vaasje). Manager did change the price since I noticed these prices and did say that those are ridiculously misleading prices. Overall good shepherds pie and good atmosphere. However, the restaurant should amend the beers on tap prices for customers not to overpay.

Met ons team hier heerlijk gegeten. Gezellig druk en super lekkere pub food maar ook andere gerechten. De Sheperds Pie werd gretig afgenomen. Een behoorlijk grote portie waar wij thuis met z’n 2-en mee zouden doen. En ik had de Surprise in pastry die vegetarisch was en ook bijzonder lekker met een dakje van bladerdeeg. De voorafjes met geitenkaas en calamares werden ook met smaak verorberd. Alhoewel we behoorlijk vol zaten toch nog een toetje genomen en zowel de Dame blanche en de Vanilla fudge werden tot de laatste schep opgegeten. Dus wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

The pumpkin lasagna was superb. The vegetarian shepherd's pie was ok. I don't think a pie can be good without meat juice. Pints are good with food.

Delicious food in a cozy pub. With adults and a baby in a stroller. Asked in the reservation whether this could be taken into account. And they did. There was plenty of room for the stroller next to our table and the table for 2 people next to our table was kept free. Absolutely great. Staff very welcoming and friendly. To be repeated!

In de afgelopen twee jaar de Trafalgar Pub verschillende keren bezocht voor diner en een drankje. Keer op keer uitstekend. De sfeer is zoals dit hoort in een pub, de keuze aan met name bier is zeer ruim en de prijs kwaliteit is ronduit perfect. Het eten is heerlijk en de bediening is zeer attent. We blijven hier zeker met regelmaat terugkomen!

Mid-to-low quality pub. Supposed to be a British pub, but the designers don't appear to have ever been to a pub in the UK! Tables set out, with individual table lights; no real bad. Atmosphere dead. Unfortunately, food was poor. Moreover, I ordered a veggie burger---even had a joke with the very friendly waiter about the name. Food took quite a while to arrive, and they brought a meat burger. I'm not actually veggie, but try to eat less meat. It had already been cooked, so I just had it; would've taken ages for a new one to come. It was very poor quality. Four of us had mains which came with chips, but they only brought us one pack of chips, and put it in the centre of the table. Come paying time, they complained that we wanted to pay separately. 2*, rather than 1*, because the beers were good

Yesterday we had dinner here again with friends after years. Used to be an iconic place for us. Pretty busy. Warm and soft interior. Lots of nice beers. Excellent food menu. The only thing that disappointed me yesterday was the level of the staff. Previously, we had older ladies and gentlemen with skills present. Now they were slightly younger people who still lacked some experience. It does not matter. They certainly did their best and were up for some fun. Food was just good and the beers were fine. I would love to come back again

Fish & chips I had was delicious. Paired with a good beer, it was one of the best dinners I had on my 4 week business trip. Service is warm & friendly. A very nice Irish pub! Ik kom hier al 15 jaar en gisteren was het ons ontzettend tegengevallen. Ik had een paar dagen van te voren gereserveerd en er waren toen nog diverse tijdsloten beschikbaar. Toen we aankwamen kregen we de boodschap dat we maar 1,5 uur de tijd hadden. Dat hoeft geen probleem te zijn maar de bediening en service was erg traag en we moesten steeds seinen om geholpen te worden omdat het personeel te weinig oog had voor onze tafel. Zo kwam pas laat iemand om ons eten op te nemen en duurde ons hoofdgerecht uit de keuken zodanig lang dat er geen tijd was om nog een toetje te bestellen of een thee. We hadden nog 20 minuten te tijd en de rekening werd onsubtiel op onze tafel gezet wat niet echt leuk was voor de sfeer. Mijn vriendin legde net haar bestek neer en ze stonden direct klaar om het mee te nemen, terwijl we nog ruim de tijd hadden en ook nog een hele schaal met frietjes voor ons neus. Het eten was goed en de prijs / kwaliteit ook. Maar dit was echt een sfeer verpester. Enkel de man achter de bar was erg vriendelijk.

I have enjoyed coming to The Trafalgar Pub in Eindhoven for over 25 years. It is one of my favourite places to meet up with good friends. It is extremely cosy, the food is simply good (the Shepherd's Pie is my favourite) and you have a huge range of tasty beers on tap. In all these years, virtually nothing has changed. It's always full house. Quite honestly, I missed a few old familiar staff after Corona but was pleasantly surprised again last time with really friendly employees who have mastered the art of hospitality.

Prima eten voor een goede prijs. Erg gezellig ingericht en ook goede sfeer. Ik kom er graag!

Decent pub grub and beer. A cosy dining experience, with helpful service. The food (1 schnitzel and 2 burgers) was tasty and was served fairly quickly. The only minor minus point is that it was quite loud due to the acoustics of the restaurant. This made it a bit challenging to have a dinner conversation.

What a great find!! Visited for the first time last night just for drinks...from the outside it looks like a tiny quaint place but when you get inside...wow! Absolutely stunning place, atmosphere is great and the staff were super friendly, attentive and professional...choice of beers is awesome and the prices are average for a city centre bar. Would highly recommend this bar and we are so glad we found it. Thank you Emo for a fantastic evening.

Tip is om te reserveren, vooral in het weekend. Altijd gezellig en heerlijk eten. De boontjes zijn echt een aanrader!

We zijn gisteren een salade gaan eten bij de Trafalgar Pub waar we al jaren komen. Het eten is ons nog nooit zo tegengevallen. De bediening was al niet om over naar huis te schrijven en de salade was een bord vol met grote stronken sla en daarop een beetje tonijn met 4 tomaatjes en 4 plakjes komkommer. De serveerster stond bij het restaurant aan de overkant te kletsen we moesten haar roepen voor de rekening. Er werd totaal niet gevraagd of het gesmaakt had en of alles naar wens was. Is na 30 jaar wellicht de laatste keer geweest dat we daar hebben gegeten. Aanvulling: Trafalgar Pub heeft de klacht prima opgepakt, waarvoor dank. Zo ken ik jullie weer.

Een gezellige pub annex eetcafé. We hebben hier lekkere biertjes gedronken en zagen overal in de grote pub veel gezelligheid. We komen hier nog eens terug. Personeel jong en vriendelijk.
