I rarely write reviews, but our experience here was honestly ridiculous. We used the self-service kiosks, which already started poorly: when ordering tea, the system forced us to pay a €1 surcharge for reusable cups. We accepted it, thinking we’d get a proper setup. The issues started immediately at pickup: The Tea Fiasco: After a long wait, the staff member simply handed us two tea bags—no choice of flavor offered. Worse, the hot water was served in disposable paper cups. We had to specifically demand the reusable cups we were forced to pay extra for before she finally handed them over. The "Fry Pile": When we got to our table, we realized the staff hadn't put our fries into individual cartons. They had simply dumped all the fries loose into the bottom of the large brown paper bag. We had to sort out our own portions by hand. Food Quality: We tried the vegan burgers, but they were a massive disappointment. They looked burnt and tasted like cardboard—3/10 at best. Between the forced surcharges for items they don't even provide voluntarily and the messy food preparation, this was a waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

I have always eaten there well for a very long time, today very bad, no sauce, dry, no taste, never again

We got severely sick after eating here. I was vomiting the entire night and my friend also became ill shortly after the meal. It completely ruined the last day of our trip because we could barely leave the hotel. The hotel staff told us they had heard similar complaints before. I’m know no one is gonna do a thing about it, but if at least one person reads this before it’s too late, it’s a success.

Very unpleasant staff, zero cleanliness, very long wait even at 7pm

Burger King is supposedly fast food. Definitely not this one. I've been to many, and absolutely no other restaurant has such lazy and slow service. The fastest worker was a small, elderly woman. It was obvious everyone else was working there as a punishment. Add to that the dirty tables and sticky floors. I don't recommend coming here for any reason. Even if you're pressed for time, it's best to find a restroom elsewhere.

The taste of the burgers is okay, but the burger size is disappointing compared to other Burger King branches.

Understaffed place, only a couple of workers taking dozens of orders, moving slow, bad vibe and no hygiene. On top of that, I had to wait more than 30mi for a simple Happy Meal for my kid.

The food is getting terrible day by day. Ordered the loaded fries and could barely see any beacon inside. The Oreo ice cream is nothing like the one advertised.

The chubby one at the bar provides terrible service; I don't know how they allow people like that to work with the public. On the other hand, the little one near the kitchen is much more polite.

Arrived promptly at 2:45, but the place was already closed. So I just went to Febo.

We went in for a quick bite and got a cold burger with uncooked onions and a slab of cold cheddar on a thin patty. The fries were great though, and a young couple gave us their coke that they didn't order, which somewhat restored my faith in the next generation - just a little.

Nice little meal, the service was a bit slow, but a good time overall.

The service was bad; it took 5 minutes before someone took your order. I am never going here again in my life; I hope no one in my bloodline goes there. The portions were small and it was way too expensive. This Burger King is stingy.

The cleaning lady was rude, it's no longer fast food but slow food, the Whopper was cold, and the cheese isn't melted, the cola tastes like water, you have to pay €1 for the toilet even if you are a customer, the meat is too dry and the chicken tastes like tofu.

Every Friday evening, I go out with my friends at Leidseplein, and we always end the evening at the Burger King there. The last few times, I was constantly served cold food, although it was handled well by the staff. So, the service could be a bit better. Last weekend, my friends and I were harassed by a group of boys. The security handled it really well, ensuring we could eat in peace and walk back onto the square quietly. One of the few times I've had such a good experience with security at eateries. Plus points for the security. Otherwise, definitely recommended!

The staff was unbearable; I spent 10 minutes trying to prove that my order was mine because the machine hadn't given me a ticket.

I suffered violence in that place. I bought my food and sat down to eat, but they asked me to eat outside. I got up and started to leave, but for no reason, the security guard threw me down the stairs, and I hit my head on the door. All my food fell on the floor. I was left without food and injured by the security guard. Everyone who saw what happened was incredulous at what I was going through. I had the worst experience in that place.

Had to pay a euro for the toilet only to find it in a disgusting state. Understaffed and only able to purchase drinks in a “reusable” cup for an extra euro, to be given it in a paper cup. Convenient location

Having to pay an extra 2 euros for using a flithy and stinky toilet is absolutely ridicolous.

They make more money cheating with deposit cups (not registering them, then making a fuss at the counter) and toilet use (€2 + isn't even kept clean) than on their mediocre food. On top of that, they forgot to put half of it on the tray.

It's unbelievable that you have to pay to use the restroom. Even for children, and even after buying a meal. Thanks to the employee who helped me take my son to the restroom, as it's on the first floor and the only way to access it is by stairs; with a stroller, it's impossible to get up.

It's supposed to be 'fast' food yet we waited almost 40 minutes to get our order.

I wish I could give this less than one star because this place probably has the worst service I have ever come across in any fast food chain anywhere. You’ll be waiting 20mins for small fries and staff don’t seem to care at all. Also portions are small and overpriced.

Terrible. Waited half an hour for the order. (10 orders ahead of us) Finally received it and everything was cold. We didn't feel like going back to complain. Should have waited another half hour. Never had such a bad BK.

The service is incredibly slow and the staff are extremely unpleasant; you get the feeling you're bothering them as soon as they have to work. The food is what you'd expect from a fast-food restaurant, nothing exceptional. I definitely don't recommend it!

Once you've seen one, you've seen them all. But it's always good to have one nearby. This one charges you €1 for the cup, which you can then return. It's a plastic cup; you can return it or keep it as a souvenir.

Went in here yesterday evening (27th) . Waited over 20mins for our order (1 burger meal and one chicken burger meal), took it upstairs to sit down, wife took one bite and food was cold so when and asked for a refund as didn't want to wait over 20mins again and she was rudely told you've eaten half of it. One small bite doesn't equate to half. A chicken burger. The rather LARGE lady (sorry didn't get her name) was incredibly rude. The food was awful and the customer service was even worse. If I was you as a customer I would go and order else where, the restaurant is too busy and they can't cope with the amount of customers. Also if you are English don't order to eat in as you have to have a reusable cup with you are told you can get the 1euro refund but only if you have a European bank account. So order takeaway.

Friday evening a no go. To many ppl, not enough staff. We had to wait 45 minutes (after asking, otherwise longer) for our order. And of course it was wrong. Catastrophic!

The service is terrible; the purchase doesn't include the bathroom, meaning you pay for the food and you also pay for the bathroom, how absurd.

I waited over two hours for the order to be canceled. That's very disappointing. I would like appropriate compensation in addition to the refund. That's polite, but clear.

The staff on the counter have excellent customer service, they are friendly, helpful, polite and go the extra mile to make sure the customers are happy. The cleanliness of this restaurant is exceptionally good, and is the main reason I always come to this branch of Burger King in particular. The food is so much more enjoyable in a spotlessly clean environment.

The food was terrible, and I waited over 50 minutes for 3 burgers and 2 fries. The staff were also awful. It's a shame, I'm used to better!

I am very disappointed. The working guy with this shoes was very impolite. Make sure to avoid him. He insulted me because I wanted to secure and sit while waiting my order.

Too many people behind the counter and it's a hard time to order a meal everytime

I had the worst experience at this restaurant. The employees provide terrible service; they look like they don't want to live anymore. Whenever I place an order, they always make it wrong or do whatever they want. I just happened to order and had to wait half an hour for my fast food. The employees gather in the back every five minutes or so, no idea what they're doing. But they refuse to prepare the food. It's way too slow. I'd like to ask the management of the Burger King chain in the Netherlands to do an inspection or something. Because it would be a real shame if I couldn't go there anymore. PS. There's currently only one male employee who's doing a great job!

Making this a highly negative review for you to take back to uber eats. I ordered food. It spent 65 minutes going to two separate locations before getting to my place. Arrived ice cold, stale and wet.

I had a deeply disappointing experience here. I calmly waited behind the line, yet security confronted me harshly. Meanwhile, another person from a different background, who was loud and intimidating, was not addressed similarly. I expect consistent and fair treatment for all customers. Due to this treatment I will never return

You can't sit downstairs anymore. The staff doesn't speak Dutch. The food takes a long time to be ready.

The bathroom costs extra. We went around 10:45 PM, but they didn't tell us they closed at 11 PM. We started eating, and they rudely kicked us out. They never told us it was until 11 PM; they only told us when we were eating, after we had already thrown away our bag, that we had to ask for another one. And even though I was polite, the staff was very rude.

Understaffed: the screen had 25 orders queued while the front staff was giggling and joking while only processing one order every 5 minutes and the takeout area was full of paying customers. In my case it took 20 minutes to get a single burger out. Things started moving when somebody who I assume was the manager started giving food out.

We had to wait over 20 minutes before we finally got our order. (We had two simple menus.) Finally, when we asked where it was and if possible, if they could cancel it, they didn't even start preparing it. We almost arrived late at the theater. From now on, we'll go to the Febo around the corner; they know what service is all about.

The service was very slow and it was very cold inside, and I didn't like it there at all, I'm sorry, but it's the truth!!! My advice is to speed up the table service, etc.

Dirty...the floor was sticky everywhere and the staff were unfriendly.

We were wearing beanies at the entrance due to bad weather and all of sudden security guard scolded us to not to wear them. Maybe not treat people like criminals just because of wearing beanies

Attention. Toilets. Fee applies. Even if you order a meal. Or perhaps we haven't understood how it works.

Trash bins full, return bottles not working, took ages to get your food. They either need more people or faster ones.

Burger King is expensive these days. But this one was really bad, and you have to pay to use the toilet. Plus, it took forever.

We were cheated out of €1 at the toilet and €1 for the (non-activated) reusable cup!

2x6 chicken nuggets, 1x6 chili balls, 3 small fries, 1 medium cola and 1 water €35.00 🤯 The price you pay for a few fries and chicken nuggets these days is truly ridiculous.
