Rubbish staff with no idea of customer service, bad food! Do better Burger King

The service was very slow and it was very cold inside, and I didn't like it there at all, I'm sorry, but it's the truth!!! My advice is to speed up the table service, etc.

Dirty...the floor was sticky everywhere and the staff were unfriendly.

Did you know that now you cannot go in the toilet if you only order something or not even only if you just pay for it? Now you have to pay and order something if you want to take a piss, I have no words

We were wearing beanies at the entrance due to bad weather and all of sudden security guard scolded us to not to wear them. Maybe not treat people like criminals just because of wearing beanies

The security guards were very aggressive. He raised his voice at me while I was taking off my hat. It was raining outside and I had just entered. I went in and came out; I don't want employees like that making money off me

The bathroom costs money; they should have a customer system where people with a receipt can access it for free.

Trash bins full, return bottles not working, took ages to get your food. They either need more people or faster ones.

Burger King is expensive these days. But this one was really bad, and you have to pay to use the toilet. Plus, it took forever.

We were cheated out of €1 at the toilet and €1 for the (non-activated) reusable cup!

Fries were excellent. But the Whopper…?! It had a very thin piece of meat in it. Like a hamburger. Are those the new sizes? Next time, I'll just get a slice of ham. I won't be eating here again. Back to McDonald's then.

Rude staff, they don’t understand English and they just ignore you if you try to ask some questions. I asked where can I find an outlet at the table and that person just turned around and ignored me.

Don't go here around 10:15. While they can obviously expect a peak in the evening hours, you'll be yelled at and shown the door.

Great branch with quick service

This burger king is in an area that views an open space with a beautiful building across the street. Amsterdam is a great place and haThe food is like any other menu at Burger King everywhere I have visited. It is good for a quick bite and it is quite affordable for being in this city. You get your food and the view from the second floor sitting in amazing. Sometimes I just come here to relax, have a bite and people watch. Great location overall.

I want to pay cash which they allow btw, but they say go order at the machine and just ignore me afterwards which is rude. Even when there are no other customers (?)

You cant buy a drink here unless you spend €1 on a plastic cup.

We were satisfied, you can charge your phone and eat here. The toilets cost 1€, which is a bit scary. They use a returnable cup for drinking, so when you return it, you get a receipt with 1€, but you can only withdraw it if you have a bank account with euros. So bad luck for Czechs and pretty useless

The attitude of the staff at this location is always bad, and often Indian? They're not helpful, usually rude to customers, but then laugh amongst themselves. Probably the worst Burger King I've ever seen, not sure why there aren't more complaints.

The female employee took everything incredibly slowly. Some people even wanted their money back because it was taking so long! There was also little to no communication between the employees. The food was cold.

My crispy chicken was very good, as were the fries. But a total no-go is that you have to pay an extra €1 for the restroom. 👎It would be ideal if you received an access code with your order.

With the discounts on the app, I was able to score quite a few menus.

We tried their Whopper Jr. burger offer, and it was pretty good. It was also one of the few small meals you could get in this budget. Overall, it was a great experience for our first time there. And the best part? They have plenty of seating!

Open til late and very conveniently located in Leidseplein.

The fries were delicious but a bit too filling because they were so greasy. The fries are thicker here than in France or Switzerland. You have to pay extra for the cup, which I find problematic: €1 for a reusable one, €0.10 for a cardboard cup. The Coke was good, but unfortunately, there are far fewer options for configuring fries and drink sizes than in Switzerland or France. I still recommend the BK.

Toilet hygiene level not worth 1 €.

Food are good same as all BK but It's always busy, tables are not so clean , you have to pay to use toilets.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this Burger King. After paying for food, I found out that you actually have to pay again just to use the restroom. This feels unreasonable — if a customer is already paying for a meal, basic access to a restroom should be included. The food itself was fine, but this policy left a very negative impression. A restaurant should prioritize customer comfort, not nickel-and-dime people for something as essential as using the bathroom. Until this changes, I’ll be choosing other places to eat where customers are treated with more respect.

You have to pay €1 for the toilet (card payment is also accepted), for drinks you have to choose the reusable cup + €1, and the fries taste like cardboard. Some menu items that are available at other branches are also not available.

Don't order a milkshake at this Burger King. They serve you ice cream with a straw. In fact, while they were preparing it, they looked at each other like they had no idea what they were doing, and with good reason. When we went to complain, they laughed and said that was the milkshake. We told them that it wasn't like that at any Burger King in Spain, and that it's like ice cream with a straw. The manager told us, "You're in Amsterdam," and we clarified that in Eindhoven, they don't serve it like that either. It wasn't a problem of location, it was a problem of not knowing how to make it. I'm still giving it two stars because we resolved it without any problems and got our money back.

Burger King is a total disappointment. In addition to charging for the included drink, they charge for bathroom breaks. If the company's founders, James McLamore and David R. Edgerton, were to visit this place, they would leave horrified and wouldn't recognize the brand's policy, which is conspicuously absent here. Not at all advisable.

It's quite expensive in comparison, it has steps that are difficult for older and older people to climb, and they even charge you for using the bathroom when you're a customer. My son also says :-) that the seats are very hard...

the worst burger king i've ever been to. not only the food was disgusting and undercooked (i doubt the bacon was even heated before put in my whopper) the portion size seemed to be smaller, the staff was extremely rude and the toilet was paid extra. this part would've even been ok, but the price on the gate was one, what was charged me on my card was another. i doubt that's even allowed by the law. and on top of all of that, the store was extremely dirty. i'm not a huge fan of fast food so i only eat at this type of restaurant once or twice a year. burger king is by far my favourite and the one i mostly go to. this one was terrible, truly genuinely disgusting.

Ordered food, an hour later it still wasn't ready. No one answered the phone. The staff here really don't take their jobs seriously at all.

I have never been to a worse Burger King, the staff was nearly purposefully unhelpful, to say the least, the miss didn't give me a proper reusable cup (no lid) even though I payed for it, took my receipt (I need that and should keep it, normally) crumpled it and tossed it in the garbage immediately. I then went upstairs only to find the bathroom was paid (even though the food is already quite expensive given the amount and quality) and not a normal price, €1!!!! You pay, enter, and the tap was broken, the bathroom stunk and there was no toilet paper in my stall. Plenty of wet dirty toilet paper all over the wet floor. WHAT DO YOU EVEN PAY FOR ANYWAY?! Never coming back!

Incomprehensibly bad and sloppy service. Bad smell. The drink cup return machine didn't work, no one was interested. Getting ketchup for your fries cost extra and ordering one ketchup ended up last in the (long) line. Ridiculous restaurant.

Smells bad, no free soda refills, paid restroom, ketchup is expensive, bad reusable cup machine. I do not recommend, worst Burger King I have ever been to.

If you’re a vegetarian like me, and just leaving a coffee shop at 2am and the munchies attack your half-fried brain but everything is closed, your existential crisis is solved right here. Vegetarian chicken, Oreo chocolate ice cream and French fries just saved my life. Good veggie burger too.

You go there for a quick bite, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, you order via a screen that everyone touches with their fingers, after which you eat your hamburger with your hands... Restroom use is very expensive, even for paying customers.

Wouldn't eat here. Today watched a staff member use the trays to stuff down rubbish in the bins then return the trays for immediate use without washing them. Also observed staff total my bill as 11 euro and put in 40 euro. Never changed it. Absolutely don't give a care about health and hygiene nor the business

Visité este establecimiento para tomar un batido de vainilla y me horroricé por lo que presencié. Debajo de la máquina de batidos, había una taza que recogía los residuos de las fugas. Cuando el miembro del personal comenzó a preparar mi batido, inicialmente trató de tirar esa taza que era lo correcto. Pero entonces el gerente, Maggie, intervino e insistió en que viertan el contenido de esa taza en mi batido antes de llenarlo de la máquina. Sí, en realidad agregaron residuos viejos a mi bebida. Observé cómo tres empleados flotaban sobre mi taza, y uno de ellos seguía mirándome nerviosamente, claramente consciente de lo equivocado que estaba. Esto es más que inaceptable. No es solo un mal servicio, es una seria preocupación de higiene. No recomendaría este lugar a nadie, y espero que la gerencia tome medidas para abordar este comportamiento.

MANAGER MAGGIE Disgusting establishment. I went to get a vanilla shake, and under the machine was a cup collecting all the leaking residue. The guy who went to make my milkshake tried to throw it away, but then the MANAGER, MAGGIE, came and insisted they add it to my shake before filling the cup from the machine. The three of them stood hovering over my milkshake while they poured the old residue into my cup. One of the guys kept nervously looking back at me.

Taste and quality as you would expect it would be...no more no less. The specific branch had terrible service. I had to go to the desk to place my order, and , they didn't give me the options they had available. And when I wanted to wash my hands in the toilet, they wanted me to pay €1. Awful experience.

Great burger, took too much time for fast food but enjoyed it

Hasta 19 pedidos estaban esperando ser preparados sin sentido de urgencia. Vimos nuestras hamburguesas sentadas en la mesa de preparación durante 4 minutos mientras el miembro del personal lentamente se movió para hacer nuestro pedido esperó 15 minutos en total. Como resultado hamburguesa fría. Eso fue a la papelera. No hay batidos aparentemente fuera de servicio o tal vez el personal no entrenado para usar la máquina. I'm a foreigner, and Patricia, a foreign employee, threw me money. I speak little English, but I was as cordial as I could. I'm really taking a bad experience from this trip.

The food is good, much better than the other brnches in centrum. The only problem is air conditioning. No fresh air inside, and always very hot, which makes it impossible to sit and eat there.

I was kicked out because I had a cup. I was about to pay the ridiculous 1 EUR for the bathroom as well as order something from the menu. I had a cup in my possession and I wanted to go to the bathroom. The ‘bouncer’ told me In had to leave the cup and I told the “bouncer” that I would leave the cup outside. He told me no and I was escorted out of the building saying, they don’t care allow the cup, I should leave the store, I am not allowed in. All this because I had a cup and wanted something to eat. I was told I couldn’t return although I just asked for the bathroom.

It’s one of the better burger kings, but location is kinda sucky to reach because of traffic. Free parking is nice.
