Why all 3 burgers I buy , been cold ? I came here to eat tasty , freshly maded fastfood, but get 3 cold burger's, witch been prepared long time before my order. Never comming back here. If this is how you run this business, every day , Less and less people will eat there.

Well, what can I say about this? After my visit today, I can understand why fewer and fewer people are visiting the establishment. Why do the people who do visit this branch leave negative reviews? At 11:58, I was still standing in front of a closed door. I found this a bit strange, because the Google page said open from 11:00, while the branch itself said 12:00. So this was odd. So I thought, I’ll just take a quick stroll around the weekly market. After my walk, I returned and entered the establishment. I wanted to place my order at one of the kiosks, but after trying a few times, it didn't work, so I just went to order at the counter. After a few minutes, I was allowed to receive my food, but what I experienced from that moment on was completely beyond me as a former hospitality manager. In about twenty minutes, approximately 15 to 20 people came in and left again because they received no service or assistance. First, a number of these people tried the kiosk; several of them left after just a few minutes. Then there were a few people who still wanted to order; these went to the counter. A person who didn't even acknowledge the people, simply saying 'Hello' or 'I'll be with you shortly.' When there were customers, there was only one cashier present. When there were no customers, three or four of them stood there watching the people who couldn't place their order at the kiosk. At one point, there was a staff member who, after a number of young people couldn't place their order via the kiosk and decided to leave, felt the urge or the spontaneous idea to suddenly sing 'Goodbye and Thanks'. And then just laughed nonchalantly at the situation. I fear that this generation no longer sees the seriousness of the situation. When about 15 to 20 people come in and leave again within short spans of time, surely, as staff, you have to think: something is wrong. No, just laugh it off and keep talking amongst yourselves. I can also put it into numbers for a moment: of these 15 to 20 people, the average consumption is €13, maybe even more. That leaves €200 to €300 that people aren't leaving behind; that is the wages of yourself and your colleagues. People chose to come in here and leave this behind. If this weren't a large multinational chain, but a small independent business, this owner would eventually have to close his business. I used to have fond memories of this establishment, but unfortunately, after this visit, I don't know if I will ever return. To end with the words of that cheerful colleague: goodbye and thanks.

Only 3 tables available in the dining room. Upstairs not accessible. Restroom not accessible. No tables on the terrace.

To begin with, the fries were as salty as if they'd been dipped in the Black Sea. I had to remove a ton of salt for every single fry I wanted to eat. Secondly, the burger was awful, so bad you could easily win the one-bite burger challenge with it. The chicken was so undercooked you'd think it was still alive. Above this, frankly, terrible food, the place is incredibly gloomy, especially upstairs, which feels like something out of a horror movie. And I'll add that the upstairs sofa was so broken they had to hold it up with tape. The staff treat us like we're bilingual in Dutch; it takes at least five minutes just to explain what we want. So, my advice is: don't go there for your own good.

My experience was awful because I came here excited to eat some fries and it turns out it's closed. Even though all the lights are on, there's nobody there.

Our health is not a commodity, and everyone has the right to food prepared according to proper hygiene standards.

This place is always closed even though it’s listed as as open it’s super annoying

The fries were raw, the ice cream is always sold out, and the benches are completely worn out; also, the staff is very uninterested.

What a place…. Not a single member of the staff seemed enthusiastic. Customers were snapped at and received one sigh after another from the staff. Additionally, they had closed off the seating/dining area before 7:00 PM…! The food itself was just as disappointing as the staff.

The restaurant was dirty and had no atmosphere. Hardly any customers, no music, and the staff seemed to be in a bad mood. Everything looked filthy, the floor was sticky, the food was disgusting, and we didn't even eat half of what we ordered—or rather, what the cashier ordered, with mistakes in the order. In short, a real money grab designed to make you sick.

All the staff are dry, the food is extremely expensive, and we also get the wrong food. Everything is very dirty; the toilets are the icing on the cake of filth. Not recommended!!!

The overall rating is salvaged thanks to reviews from three years ago, but currently it's a disaster. Avoid it unless you enjoy the gloomy atmosphere upstairs, the ripped-out benches, the sticky floor, the lack of music (it's present on the ground floor ^^), and the equally appalling toilets. A place that's abandoned but still open; it's truly mysterious.

The food was cold; there was very little sauce on the burger. Very little effort was made for my fries; they were cold even though I ate them immediately after receiving them, and they were sticking to the walls, floor, and chairs, and were uncleaned/dirty. The staff can't even help because they don't even speak decent English. Really a terrible experience!

Disgraceful management, they package the drinks for takeaway like they pay me not the other way around, every time i takeaway they spill. Before it was my favorite place.

This is without a doubt the worst Burger King we've ever visited. The place is neglected, the furniture is completely outdated, and despite ordering to eat in, we received a takeaway meal. In short, we'll never set foot in there again.

It is filthy and disgusting there. The staff don't care at all. Groups that insult and harass people and behave like pigs. And they just let it happen. My wife and son were harassed there. They should be glad I wasn't there myself.

The table was not clean and no one cleaned it for me. I also had to stand for a while before I could order, even though they saw me but didn't come to take my order. I had to clear things off the table to be able to sit down. Only after I had finished eating did the waiter come to clean the table. My rating for this experience is only one star.

I had been trying to order for a while because I wanted to try some of the vegetarian options, but delivery is simply too expensive. I visited the restaurant and ordered a burger, fries, and nuggets for around €12–13, which seems reasonable. However, when trying to order the same type of meal online, the total can easily exceed €20 due to added fees and the fact that you are often required to select extras and pay for items you may not even want just to complete the delivery order. The price difference is significant. To make things worse, even when I ordered in person, the nuggets were somehow not included in the final order, so I ended up paying €12 for just a vegetarian burger and curly fries, which is not particularly cheap but I get it. The location itself is small, and compared to McDonald’s, which always seems busy, this place looked almost empty. It suggests that McDonald’s may simply be executing its marketing and positioning more effectively. In addition, the opening hours listed on Google Maps are incorrect (it says 11:00, but the restaurant actually opens at 12:00), which can be inconvenient if you plan your visit accordingly. The online ordering process is also not very smooth or intuitive, it feels unnecessarily complicated and their "available" hours are just a few. Not the best city for delivery. As for the food, it is what you would expect from the brand: I tried the ultimate cheddar, which is lacking flavour and already cold within 10-15 minutes of ordering. Curly fries are fine, but as any frozen curly fries. That is disappointing, especially since their vegetarian menu is actually more interesting than McDonald’s. However, they need to improve pricing transparency online and update their store information to avoid frustrating customers.

After a long time, I ordered from Burger King again...and it was also the last time...we had rotten black lettuce on all the burgers. Unfortunately, I can't upload a photo. The one star is because it was delivered quickly.

Update February 13: Customer service has forwarded my complaint to the franchise manager(s). I'm curious to see what they'll come up with. Update February 9, 2:30 PM: I was standing in front of a closed door, even though it was supposed to be open according to their own website and Google Maps (I assume they manage this themselves). Unbelievable action by BK. Complaint filed. Depending on their response, I'll change this review or the star rating. This is absolutely worthless!

I came here yesterday around 8pm and it was closed. I came again today around 3pm and it was again also closed. It says it's supposed to close at 10pm, but it's closing random times.

Completely disappointed. The fries weren't hot, the Coca-Cola was practically watered down, and the service was incredibly unfriendly. The decor is outdated and the atmosphere is completely impersonal. For the price we paid for three people, we didn't eat well at all. Frankly, compared to other Burger King locations, it's an experience to avoid.

I can only agree with what others are saying. Dirty place. Full trash cans, empty napkin holders. Toilets with half a centimeter of water on the floor. Staff that doesn't speak Dutch. This place also isn't designed for the number of people who come. You can choose to eat in, but you have to pick it up yourself. The reusable cups are a plus, but making the large version so narrow and tall is asking for trouble. Next time, I'll just get a sandwich or a salad from one of the many other places on the market.

The food is good and in my opinion it is reasonably priced for Maastricht, the big flaw I unfortunately found was the lack of cleanliness at the tables and secondly the speed of service (even if on this I would say they are not too slow)

I was unhappy with my visit to Burger King. The burgers were bland and arrived cold. They had no flavor, tasted of nothing. The drinks tasted almost like water. Furthermore, there were about 15 orders ahead of me, which meant a long wait. For me, this wasn't a good experience.

What a terrible restaurant. The staff at the counter were disinterested. The restrooms were incredibly dirty, and the restaurant area wasn't clean either. The food was lukewarm.

Then you're astonished to see that more than 20 orders after yours are delivered earlier. With exactly the same contents... staff that can't crack a smile, and when you politely ask how this is possible, they shrug their shoulders with complete disinterest. The worst Burger King in the Netherlands is in the market square in Maastricht. The restrooms and the floor were a mess. In short, save yourself the frustration and eat somewhere else.

Expectations are not huge.. but this one is by far the worst BK ive ever visited.. the Franchise owner should understand not cleaning wont magicaly make it better over time. Lady behind the counter was friendly..

Today I had a great experience in this BK. Food was warm and tasty, everything was clean (didn't test the toilets tho). I spilled my drink by accident and they instantly remade it for free. Thank you for the great service and food.

We waited a long time for our order. Why doesn't the staff have their hair tied up or don't they have any hats? Also, when there was a big queue, the girl at the cashier turned her back to the hall and was doing something on her phone. I don't know if this is normal or not?

Don’t go there. I lived next to this place and watched it being run down over the last 13 years. No chairs and broken dirty interior, and it looks like the work is done by teenagers only. License should be revoked. Posting the review to ensure the rating goes even lower than 3,5 which is misleading. Haven’t gone in the past year and will never ever visit again.

Never again an option for me. A woman behind the counter named Yasin, who didn't speak Dutch, treated me like some kind of prisoner. She rolled her eyes, provided poor service, and didn't even have the decency to say "bon appétit" or anything else. Everything was just shoved in my hands.

The floor is extremely dirty. The tables aren't clean either. You can't even sit on the toilet because the toilet seat is in the trash. The upstairs seating area was closed even though it was busy, and people had to stand to eat.

A small, somewhat dated Burger King branch. The food is good, the staff is friendly. A bit annoying about Burger King is that you're always addressed in English. I think that's just policy. I think Maastricht is still in the Netherlands, and the main language should be Dutch. If you notice someone doesn't speak Dutch, you can always switch to Dutch. I don't have a problem with English myself, but being routinely addressed in English in Dutch restaurants and shops is just incredibly annoying. Speak Dutch to me in the Netherlands, except, of course, for people who don't speak it.

Waiting more than 20 min for 1 burger

One of the dirtiest Burger King restaurants I've ever visited. The floor was sticky, the upholstery was badly damaged, and about half the menu items were marked "sold out." Outside, there were only two broken tables and barely three usable chairs. Since there were only two ordering kiosks, wait times were inevitable. This restaurant desperately needs a thorough cleaning and a comprehensive upgrade. We ultimately decided to go to McDonald's instead.

Had to wait 25 minutes, fries were still raw, hamburger was overcooked, cola was watery, service was also far below normal, tables were dirty. A waste of money, unfortunately, that was the worst I've ever experienced. I don't understand how this is still allowed by BK. Unfortunately, I can't give negative stars at any point. Such a shame.

It takes them 5+mins per order to make, fast food at it’s best

I love flame-grilled, so plenty of choice in that area, but at this address I have often stood in front of a closed door because the manager opened too late. Too bad, if you have a busy schedule and want to grab something quickly after your morning work. Also, the vibe is clearly a bit more simplistic than at McDonalds.

Worst burger king ever eaten. Kerkrade much better. Staff not friendly at all wanted to order only answer I got was not now. Finally able to order after 10 minutes later. Fries had a very strange aftertaste burgers were also not what you are normally used to. very dirty place everything is just really filthy. Benches where you are allowed to sit completely worn out and dirty. After the toilet you better not go there either.

Ehhh... It's mediocre, at best. Service is fine (they did mess up with giving me single-use cups instead of reusable, but were quick to fix it), but the food is just too pricy for what you get (as with most fast food nowadays). Only get from here if you got a coupon from the app that REALLY brings down the price, but even then, it still feels like you're paying more than you should. You'd be able to make a burger and fries and home for a fraction of the cost, and it'd be way better in every aspect too.

Overall poor experience. The service left much to be desired: the employees seemed unmotivated and unprofessional. My glass was sticky, half filled with ice cubes – so not much soda – while my companion's contained none. So-called “reusable” glasses did not inspire any confidence in their cleanliness. It is impossible to order at the terminal then pay in cash at the counter: you have to repeat everything orally. The terminals, moreover, only offer two languages: Dutch and English, which is not the case with the competition. The worst Burger King I have ever visited. Roof was leaking onto the tables, floors and chairs in yne upstairs seating area, NO DINE IN OPTION. Basically takeaway to table. Really not what you would expect from a Burger King franchise. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Crazy tactic for such a big chain. They offer a coupon for 20 nuggets (regular or vegetarian), but you can’t actually order it because the item is marked as “unavailable.” However, you can still order the same nuggets in smaller portions without any issue (just without the coupon). On top of that, the place was also dirty.

Burgers were very greasy and bread was very wet. Place was not cleaned at all. Seats were worn, pieces of leather were missing and the bottom fabric was full of stains, so much so that I didn't dare sit on them. Top floor table was full of dust and floor was not clean. I won't go there again!

Burger King: the place of soggy hamburgers. I give the staff plenty of credit, the same goes for the food. I especially like the discount codes, especially compared to those of the yellow M. The layout of the store is debatable. I think they are trying to go for a minimalist look. All the tables upstairs have been demolished and the walls have been stripped bare. The benches seem rotten, perhaps because of the many king farts left on them. You can also see places in the shop where something should once have hung/sat. Yet the business also has an unexpected advantage: it is an oasis of peace, because the music is not present. For me it's just bite, swallow and go.

Fast service and a standard Burger King experience. The burgers are as you would expect, tasty and freshly prepared. The location is easily accessible and there is sufficient seating space. Sometimes it can be busy, which makes the waiting time a little longer, but in general the service remains smooth. A great place for a quick bite in Maastricht!

When I go to a fast food restaurant, expectations are not very high, but anyway, Burger King is usually a good option. However, the location on the Grote Markt Maastricht was a culinary disaster of apocalyptic proportions. First of all, the bacon was cold, and when I asked them to resolve the situation, they put the burger in the microwave with all the salad, bun and everything in it, and completely destroyed it. Total incompetence, not only as a chef, because there are certainly no chefs there, but logically any thinking person realizes that such a thing cannot be done.
