McDonald's in Wijk 00 Centrum

This McDonald's is basically the same everywhere. If you are coming from the train station, just walk straight ahead to the center of Maastricht. It is located on the right-hand side in De Wijk.

Completely unacceptable treatment at McDonald’s Maastricht. We had already ordered and paid for our food and were eating inside with a four-year-old child when she urgently needed to use the toilet. Despite explaining that she was only four years old, the staff refused to allow her to use the restaurant’s toilet. They sent us to the public toilet in the parking area, which was already closed. It is shocking that a restaurant serving families can refuse basic toilet access to such a young child, especially to paying customers who are eating inside. The staff showed no compassion, no understanding and no effort to find a solution. This was not a small inconvenience it was a humiliating and distressing situation involving a four-year-old child. Management should take this complaint seriously and ensure that no other family is treated this way.

Returned food twice because it wasn't right, the tables were very dirty, and the toilet could also use a bit better cleaning.

The fries were served in a cardboard box, strange... The burger, a McCrispy, was indeed crispy, but the Scottish origin—suggested by Mc, at least—completely escaped me. The mayonnaise dated back to 2024. Admittedly an excellent vintage, but still slightly less so for the mayonnaise. The toilet was closed, as was the upstairs area. As a result, we lost our panoramic view, which is surely THE attraction of this 'quality burger restaurant'. A missed opportunity. Nevertheless, a successful 30-minute meal.

Frappuccino makes me happy, also very happy employees, like maybe the happiest fast food employees I have ever seen.

1 star is too much bad service. My girlfriend and I were just there. I still feel nauseous. My girlfriend just went to the toilet 3 times after taking 2 bites of a cheeseburger. We wanted to see if we could get another burger, but that wasn't possible. I don't know if he was blind or didn't know, but the place should be closed. We didn't even get our money back. After walking around Maastricht all afternoon and having enough money left over to eat at that McDonald's, we are never coming back here either. I hope the franchise owner has something sensible to say about this.

The food is fast-food . However due to the Andre Reiu concert and being at the entrance they closed off the restrooms. So if you eat here you can’t use them!!!

The stuff wasn’t very friendly. There were no seat downstairs and the stuff did not let dine upstairs. Instead a rude girl sent me outside to the 32 deg. Heat.

Apologies for my Dutch vocabulary, but this is simply ridiculous. Peeing only at 12:00 and 20:00..? What kind of times are those? The top display window is only open on weekends..? When I asked just now (Friday 23:55) if I could use the toilet, I was laughed at and talked to. Ridiculous place. On top of that, the food is cold too. My company and I took a seat outside… Remarkable view

Completely overcrowded, hardly any space, trash lying around. Ice cream was ordered. It took an astonishingly long time to arrive. Upon asking, it turned out that it had already been prepared and was sitting there without being handed out. It was completely melted, so we asked for a new one. They simply made more ice cream on top of the old one and handed it out. Fantastic!

A typical chain restaurant. Fast, high-calorie, and relatively cheap. I just don't understand why the restroom is open from 11:00 a.m. What's the point? After all, if I have a cup of coffee in the morning, it's normal to need the restroom.

Chicken wings were overcooked and small, food was cold. We had to pay extra for the toilet each time we went, 3 people even tho we paid like €60 already.

Five stars are given for the security and attentive staff. As a traveler, I chose an outdoor table near the Paradise Bookstore where there would be no disturbance. Suddenly, two teenagers approached us, looking at us and saying they wouldn't steal our bags. My companions and I immediately became alert and tightened our grip on our bags. Seeing this, the staff immediately stepped forward to drive them away. Soon, six or seven more delinquents joined them. Two security guards immediately came out, collected all the unused seats from the teenagers, and watched them leave. Because of the bravery, attentiveness, and willingness to risk retaliation from the staff and security guards, we avoided danger. We are very grateful! There are such brave heroes in every corner of the world!

We bought food there specifically so we could use the restroom. When I went downstairs, the restrooms were blocked by wheelchairs, making it impossible to get through. When I asked if I could please use the restroom, I was rudely told "no toilet" and the employee walked away. I have no idea what the problem with the restrooms is there, but denying paying customers access is just unacceptable. And no, they weren't broken. Therefore, 0 stars.

Very kind cashier but there's an unpleasant server

What an unforgettable experience at McDonald's again. We went to get a nice caramel iced coffee – a simple request, right? Apparently not. Caramel was sold out???? So we got a mocha version that can't really even be called coffee anymore, more like chocolate milk… But I wouldn't call it that either, because it was BARELY drinkable. No, not because it was THAT gross, but because it was nothing but ice cubes. If I feel like drinking ice cubes, I'll go on a ski holiday to the Alps. So if you don't feel like getting exactly what you want or a surprise menu, you're in the right place here, but otherwise you might be better off throwing some water in the freezer. Otherwise, tasty burgers.

I ordered chicken nuggets here the other day... well, they were brought to my table very quickly, the only thing was that the chicken nuggets were super tough. I think they must have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.

As a paying customer, you're denied access to the restroom. You've paid a significant amount and urgently need restroom facilities, but the restroom opening hours don't match those of the store. This is incomprehensible. The restroom closes at 8:00 PM. Surely staff should be able to use the restroom, but a paying customer is denied access? This is simply unacceptable.

Received a cold order through Thuiszorgd, and they only want to refund €7 even though everything was cold and I waited an hour and a half. McDonald's doesn't do anything about this anymore. Never order from them again and never eat there again!! Disgraceful!!!

While consuming a hamburger you provided, a hair was found in the product, which should be considered not only aesthetically undesirable but primarily hygienically unacceptable. This circumstance raises serious doubts about actual compliance with applicable food safety and quality assurance protocols. Furthermore, it should be noted that the treatment at the checkout was characterized by a striking lack of professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to provide service, which gave the impression that basic principles of customer service were not, or only to a very limited extent, being applied. Finally, it was found that the potato products included in the order were cold and unsalted, which justifies the conclusion that the preparation and delivery of the order were not carried out with the required care. Given the above, it can only reasonably be concluded that your establishment falls short in several fundamental respects in guaranteeing quality, hygiene, and service. The undersigned therefore considers it advisable to reconsider future visits to your business with the utmost caution.

I got a McFlurry here at 3:30 PM on December 17, 2025. I paid €4.25 and received a shamefully small container of ice cream. I worked at McDonald's a long time ago and know they have an official standard, but this container only contained one layer, and it was less than 100 grams. So I asked at the counter if everything was okay. The manager immediately responded with irritation, pointing to the line on the side of the container. She looked inside, saw that it wasn't filled to the line, and started to hesitate. She refused to admit she was wrong and returned the container in irritation. It's a shame this manager's ego overshadowed the hospitality I learned at McDonald's back in the day.

Worst McDonald's I've ever been to. I ordered a McFlurry Everything on the screen... When I picked it up, after waiting 5 minutes, they deleted my order. Then they didn't know what kind of McFlurry it was and were rude.

First, I went to the bar and asked the woman behind it if I could use my McDonald's points here, as I was from Belgium. After asking three times to confirm, I activated my points (500 points). She then tried to scan them, but after a few tries, she gave up and said it wouldn't work because I was from Belgium. She called another colleague, who gave me the same answer: "So, what about my points?" She said, "Yes, they normally appear in your app." You can probably guess that this isn't the case... and the best part is, I called McDonald's today, explained my situation, and they simply hung up mid-conversation. It's also scandalous that the items we ordered and paid for were incomplete, cold, and delivered with poor service. The message is, never come here!

The Korean chicken burger was dry...and definitely not Korean. Tables, chairs, floors were dirty and sticky. Ughh

Always quick service, and the order is almost always correct. The fries are crispy, the burgers hot and fresh. It's usually clean inside, even during peak hours. The staff remains friendly, even when busy. The music can be a bit loud, but the service is fast. It's great that there's ample parking.

Personally, I always find the proportions of fries to be too little.

Just been there everything was cold when I got it they forgot to add sauces and they don't even answer the phone if you call you'd better go to Geuseld or Wyck at least you'll get hot food.

We only ordered two ice creams over the screen and waited inside. After five minutes, we asked where the ice cream was. It was ready-made by the ice cream machine, but no one had called our number. Behind the counter was a woman in a white blouse who appeared to be the team leader. She was picking at her fingernails and then ended up chewing them. That can really ruin your appetite.

When it is crowded, all is lost. The order machines will not proceed without table beacons, but there are none. Trash bins pile out despite numerous staff members passing by.

The store opens at 10am but the toilet doesn't open until 11am and they won't open it no matter how bad you have to go.

Terrible McDonald's and delivery!! I ordered and paid for a whole list for 5 people. I received 3 ice-cold containers of chicken nuggets and a Coke... After calling for ages and being constantly pushed away, they finally decided to answer. The conclusion is they don't want to help, so I have to call home delivery to file a complaint🤷🏼‍♀️ The service at this McDonald's is getting worse and worse. If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would!!!!!

We were allowed to leave a review via a QR code for a free milkshake, but it could only be a 9/10...

During our visit, a customer with a disability was laughed at and stared at by the staff without being helped. We found this very disrespectful. Furthermore, the kiosk wasn't working, so we couldn't pay, and the restrooms were extremely dirty. Afterward, we were asked to write a review, but we were only allowed to give a score of 9 or higher. When we refused, we were given the impression we should leave. So, we ultimately left. This is absolutely no way to treat customers.

Very dirty restaurant, with only one self-ordering station in use and many unavailable items. The upstairs dining room was closed despite the lack of space downstairs. Unfriendly staff: aggressive response and refusal to help. Very disappointing for a McDonald's.

The chicken nuggets were not warm and quite tough

Staff on the counter were fine but the woman in the white shirt 'guarding' the toilets should really consider a new career, she was a sour faced misery. And charging customers €0.85 each for the toilet is a joke, especially when one of the customers was a child. And they were filthy with toilet roll blocking the sink. Mistake made going here but lesson learned and won't use it again.

You walk in to the front and discover those horrible ordering machines, yes, but sometimes you can't adjust them to what you don't want, such as not ordering a pickle. I ordered at the cash register under the watchful eye of the manager from a novice employee of McD 2 happy meals 1 Crispy hot meal and 1 quarter pounder no meal and whatever drink I wanted that was included - of course I was very surprised!? ... and the one who was with me was especially shocked afterwards when it turned out that I had to pay around € 42!? ... Clearly too much in retrospect because I only wanted a quarter pounder burger no meal unlike what the others did order! ....

Toilets are 0.85€ per person, even for the customers of the restaurant. Burgers are even smaller than in German McDonald's.

Been here multiple times and every time something wrong with my order, today I didn't even get half an order and because my receipt was handed in they don't want to fix my order either. Edit: After contacting McDonalds I got a voucher for the missed part of my order. That makes my experience with McDonalds better but this location still remains the same.

We ordered 20 chicken nuggets with 3 sachets of sauce and fristi, we received 1 sachet of sauce less and fristi was finished so we got a smoothie that we were not allowed to exchange

we found chewing gum in the fries and tried to tell the staff about it. Apparently its ‘IMPOSSIBLE’ for them to have done it since their staff isn’t allowed chewing gum in the kitchen. they were rude during the whole conversation and the manager didn’t apologise nor acknowledge the fact her staff is chewing gum in the kitchen.

Imagine, you go for a Big Tasty menu, late at night, with a large coke. After that cola, you can imagine that your bladder also has something to say about your choices. So after a bit of back and forth in your seat, waiting until everyone has finished eating, you can finally go for a pee. Well, not here, you can't even pee after 8 o'clock at night. Even after you've just spent $20 on artery-clogging crap. Shame on you

There is very little space, too many people come just to sit and there is no place to sit down to eat. I don't recommend it. The client also has to pay for the toilet.

After sending a message to the restaurant and home delivery, we hear nothing more from either, so handling the complaint there is done by not responding. Scandalous! 1 week ago now. It's not that this is cheap food at this fast food chain. Our food took almost 1 hour to arrive, and was stone cold upon arrival, (from the time receipt to the doorbell time) for 3 people, complete menus went straight into the garbage bin, Mc Vrijthof will never happen again for me...

Toilets may not be used in the evening (!). Food is like any McDonald's and actually too expensive for price/quality.
