I work at McDonald's myself, but when I arrived, I was disappointed. The employees just walk around while the order screen is full, they're joking around, they're not in a hurry, and the floor is incredibly dirty. There are only three people working the service desk; it's terrible.

Good seating and friendly staff.

Edible, that's all. Looking at the pictures on the menu makes it look good, but the reality is different. I had to search for the pickle on the cheeseburger. The fries were lukewarm and pale. It did arrive quickly, though.

Keep an eye on everything, because the order is usually wrong

It was quite busy, making it difficult to find a spot away from the draft. December 25th. Second visit. Not too busy today, and service was prompt.

Got the breakfast, little expensive but really good!

The staff are trying their best, but there was no structure. A lot went wrong, orders were issued incorrectly, and our order wasn't even processed at all. It only got made after asking twice. It also got very busy.

Sucks. In all the stores I’ve been to, whenever a delivery rider needs a bit of water, everyone is always happy to give some. This is the first place that told me, ‘If you want water, you have to buy it,’ even though I was there to pick up an order from them. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. The manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Honestly, her attitude was so lacking in basic compassion that she could have been the kind of person who handed vinegar to Jesus on the cross when He asked for water. The staff are incredibly friendly and service-oriented. It's nice to see some older people working there instead of just young people. You really notice that throughout the entire staff.

We arrived at 17:20, super busy, so we waited a bit for our food. We had order 53 and 54. €30 approximately. There were 16 orders on the board, but that is the maximum there were more. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was okay, I had waited longer. I got a hamburger instead of a Mac wrap, so I exchanged it. The lady who helped me grabbed the box and pushed the Mac wrap into my hands, she didn't even look at me. What a bummer I think. I should have kept the hamburger because it was warm, the Mac wrap lukewarm. Back at my place my daughter misses the gravy, I go back and say that I miss the gravy. She asks (branch manager?) who helped me, so I point to the lady with the bale of day. She says to her, that gentleman misses his gravy. Then the lady with the bale of day grabs a bottle of gravy with a visible and audible sigh and gives it to me. Okay I can eat and find out that my wrap is lukewarm. Must have been sitting too long. My fries, oops they are cold, brr almost hurts my teeth. The kids' fries are also cold. But the sweet potato fries (separate order 54) were crispy and warm. So the 4 of us shared them. In the meantime even busier, lines almost outside (all from the pool?) no courage to complain at the cash register about the cold food. The salad was tasty my wife said, well that should be cold... Staff clearly lack motivation, also with cleaning. Trash can full and floor and tables were sticky. update 7-7-2025: went to the drive through. Coke without ice still had ice in it and literally all the sauces were not included. thanks!

This McDonalds is a lot cleaner than the one in Gronsveld and the people are a lot more friendly. Going here from now on. 😅

Very bad experience and very bad service, staff can’t communicate and always they make mistakes

Today, to celebrate my birthday, I had a delicious meal at McDonald's! Besides the birthday deal in the app, I got a McFlurry and a little later, a brownie with a balloon! The staff sang and came to congratulate me. It was truly so sweet and very special. Thank you for making this day even more beautiful. ♥️✨

Neat, well-maintained establishment

No complaints about the burgers. But this afternoon I got ice cream: I had a sundae, my daughter a pistachio McFlurry (€2.95 and €4.15). However, they were only a quarter to half full. My sundae was gone in two bites – I've never had so little ice cream before; even my spoon looked disappointed. Definitely not going back!

Multiple mistakes; order errors, dirty tables everywhere, filthy floor, incredibly cold inside, and the restrooms were so filthy we didn't dare use them! Poo, vomit, toilet brushes on the floor, tampons on the floor—it was so disgusting!

Last night I went to get a Mac & Flurry for €4.30, only to be given a small ice cream base. When I approached an employee, he showed me some kind of line on the container. What a waste of money to pay for a small ice cream base. You won't see me again. I've heard this from several people. Such a shame!

I went to the McDrive, where I had to repeat my order eight times because the man at the payphone didn't speak a word of Dutch. It took the car in front of me 10 minutes to place my order. I only wanted nine chicken nuggets with two mustard sauces. It literally took the man five minutes to correctly guess what I wanted.

Far too greasy fish burgers and fries. Much greasier than in Belgian restaurants. Spent the whole night on the toilet. Very uncomfortable sauce packets, where you don't know where to put the contents. At least in Belgian restaurants, you get sauce pots to dip your fries in. No table service, unless something wasn't ready when you ordered it. The atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant are minimalist and cold. A large restaurant with a terrace, so plenty of room to sit. There's also ample parking across the street. There's also a separate charge for plastic waste, specifically for the packaging of the sauces. As if 0.85 cents wasn't expensive enough for a tablespoon of mayonnaise. You can get half a jar for that at Albert Heijn. So, a very bad experience at this McDonald's in Maastricht.

Excellent and fast help at the mcdrive

Well... the food... we've come to expect from McDonald's and Burger King that it doesn't look like the menu photo. The restaurant isn't clean, the tables aren't clean, and the restrooms aren't clean. Just cross the border to Lanaken/Maasmechelen and go to McDonald's or Burger King. It's a completely different experience; the price and quality are truly bizarre.

Doesn’t have all menus like double fish. Service is poor they forget to put your cola. The prices are expensive comparing to Belgium and France.

Depressing place. Taking a McDrive order takes excruciatingly long, and preparing it takes even longer. It took a total of 25 minutes, and even then, it's still incomplete; you still have to go inside. The burgers are thrown together and pressed into the paper without looking. It's as if the staff is absorbing the atmosphere of the place—sad and depressing.

45 mins from order, items missing from kids meals and fries like rocks (had to be exchanged) … Ronald would be very disappointed

Thinking you can grab a quick bite at 1:15 AM because everything else is closed? You'll end up waiting 15 minutes for your order. Only good if absolutely nothing else is open and you have a few teenagers to feed.

Well, this was quite a culinary experience. Cold fries that had probably been waiting since the last shift, chicken nuggets so tough I briefly thought I'd accidentally ordered a bubblegum version, and burgers that reached that charming room temperature that no one ever asks for. In short: a meal that tasted exactly as if no one had put a single second of effort into it. Once and never again. This restaurant is the Michelin star of disappointments.

Mc drive was fine but it took too long to take order but food was fine

Ordering went well but the order was very bad, the fries were soft, all sauces were forgotten (2 sweet and sour, 4 fries sauce, 2 mayonnaise), 1 hamburger without anything for my brother, which had pickles on it. Went back and got exactly the same thing, a hamburger with pickles.

Most of the time it’s a bad experience, orders missed or mixed up, upstairs always closed, where it would be at least to some extent enjoyable. I never left a review but this time it really got me, and I even took a picture. Came there for breakfast, mine and my son’s McMuffin at first mixed up then looked as if someone had slipped on it, literally flat as a pancake. How can someone think it’s ok to serve to another human ?

Disappointed with the McDonald’s Sundae at Maastricht Geusselt. The portion was about half the size of what was advertised, and the dessert was melted and unappetizing. I asked for a replacement or a refund, but there was no success. For nearly €3, the portion is well below what is shown. I would not recommend this location until the portions and presentation match the visuals and the description.

Late night and breakfast is good place. Close to ours hotel.

I don't know what it is about this McDrive, but they're incredibly slow here. A half-hour wait is standard. A snail can work faster than this staff.

McFlurry wasn't even half full, a small lump of ice cream - well, I paid the price, of course. Too bad...

Friendly service and even polite communication. This was also the very first time a McDonald's in the Netherlands delivered a complete order.

The food was okay, it was very dirty inside, trash bins full, cold air conditioning was way too cold. Seems like there is no staff.

Just went to McDonald's, and I was charged twice. I had to wait until it was properly settled. It wasn't even compensated with fries or a drink.

I ordered food today and had to wait 20 minutes for my order, which was quite long in itself. When I got home, I was frustrated to discover that my chicken burger—which I had paid for—was missing. This is a real shame, especially since I only realized it was missing once I got home. I would have expected more care and attention when preparing my order.

Great place. Centrally located. We had a delicious meal here.

Busy, chaotic. Took quite a while before I had my order. Got my order in a bag, because there were no more trays (while the trays were stacked high at the garbage bins). A compliment to the young lady who brought around the menus; she remained calm and smiled kindly! Compliments to her!

Waiting almost always in this McDonalds, whether it is busy or not. Simple order takes 15 minutes on average. Very inefficient way of working.

Friendly staff and delicious freshly made burgers.

djallas give one spicy nugget with the chicken 9 instead of normal nugget, amang also thinks let's throw the pickle on it that had to come off. 5 stars for the atmosphere by mn kees van der spek vid in the drive, did not come through mcdo do not confuse but they get the 5 star rating for atmosphere without asking just like that damn pickle! 💯 sorry for the unappetizing sweep of sweet and sour sauce in the vid too.

Ladies at the mcdrive more concerned with talking to each other and cracking jokes in a foreign language, than serving customers. Very unprofessional.

Be prepared to wait for long times. Often the staff also forgets your order unless you go and remind them which I have done after 20 mins.

I come for my money no sauce for my burger my sauce for my chicken nuggets no sauce and my fries want my money back

Bad as usual. Even my kids get it now. Hard working people for minimum wage, sad to see, especially as I am in a similar situation myself. Have fed myself like a pig and getting ready to generate a perfect "Dutch oven" for my wife.

Had to wait 45 minutes for our food. There was rubbish everywhere that wasn't picked up. Plenty of staff in the kitchen, a few who were just staring into space. So many customers inside who were all waiting for a very long time. They didn't keep up with the announcement board, which caused everything to go wrong. Receipts didn't come out of the order column. So we had to remember the number. We had number 04. It turned out to be 2904. All numbers were announced verbally, you could hardly understand them. Terrible McDonalds!

I had complete breakfast that means 1 egg mcmuffin And 1 cup of coffee For 5.75! The egg mcmuffin has become smaller. Thought it was too expensive.

Lots of young kids who don't clean up their mess. Upstairs was closed so my son couldn't go to the playground, which is a shame.

Picked up 2 Mac menus, when you get home there is the fries sauce but no fries 🍟. So I called because you pay enough anyway, especially if it is incomplete. I was supposed to be called back in 14 days, I provided all the details, but heard nothing more. And we have already had this 3 times until the order is not complete, but no more 4th time, you understand that. I'm not easily angry and don't quickly write a review, but now I am.

They can honestly NEVER get your order right. There is always something missing or you get a completely different product. They are also super grumpy at the drive in 9/10 times. First help 5 others on the left side and then help them on the right. It's true that I like maccie but please improve your service!

This McDonald's is peak, a Maccas lovers dream. Three stories of absolute fun and chaos. They even have an amazing children's playground. Thought the terrace is rarely open. (Sadly) as it often happens, they mess up your order and forget items. As such it is recommended to compare your receipt with the items you recive instead of throwing it out right away. Overall highly recommended Maccas attraction in Maastricht, the best out of all locations here.

This was very bad. Went tonight for take away. On our way we found out that the burgers were cold. The 20 nuggets were 15 and the Mc wrap was a vegetarian mess that was therefore not eaten at all. Never experienced this before. That was a real waste of time waiting for the food and also of money.

Ordering was simple. And yet they forget half of it. Of course, if you're already far away on the highway, you'll find out. Ordered 3 times and 3 times they forgot something, but of course the payment was made.

got the wrong order. they replaced my mozzarella sticks with chicken nuggets (which usually wouldnt be that much of an issue but I dont eat meat) though after a phone call with Farhaji he solved the issue very nicely and offered to give me double mozzarella sticks instead to compensate for the previous mistake. love you Farhaji.

There is no soap to wash your hands and the toilet is very dirty! And the table is dirty! The staff doesn't respond!

A fast food restaurant with very friendly staff in the morning, mainly younger staff in the evening. But it often happens that your order is not completely correct. These types of mistakes also sometimes occur at the drive-thru. It is therefore always important to check your order carefully!!! By the way, they always solve it quickly and correctly.

The mcdrive, no words for it! Lines from front to back, waiting too long, the person behind the headset taking the orders, DRAMA! 1 screen to another screen, interrupted during my order. they don't know what they are doing at all!! It's not happening. Report an allergy and still get TOMATOES ON THE BURGER when you get home!! what a shame.

I waited more than an hour and fifteen minutes for the simplest order. Just do your job, I worked there for 3 years myself, it's not that difficult, just fix your crew and your manager, you nerds, if you call this work, better resign and please put someone on window 1, idiots, who makes your floor plan? That person has to really to head office or another course, but have a nice day nerds.

Go to the MC before the football match. Ordered an hour before the start. It's busy and waiting a little longer is understandable. But after 45 minutes nothing and many others with me. The queue for a refund was longer than there were people who wanted to order... how? Now I remember why I always go to Lanaken or Gronsveld.

What I always wonder about McDonalds is the following: suppose these employees had to work in a real restaurant. Then you as an owner would quickly be in despair and the business could close permanently. These employees already make mistakes and forget things while working with the simplest menu in the world. A 4-year-old child knows the entire map by heart, and yet things go wrong... I order (drive): - 2 Quarter Pounders - 1 McKrokette - 2 medium fries with 2 fries sauce - 20 nuggets with 1 sweet and sour sauce and 2 mustard sauce And what do I get? - 2 Quarter Pounders - 1 Fish burger - 2 medium fries without fries sauce - 20 nuggets with 3 sweet and sour sauce How do you manage to give someone a fish burger instead of a McKroket? And how do you forget fries sauce? Do those packers always eat their fries dry, without sauce? I seriously wonder about this and would like to talk to the manager or supervisor to understand how this can happen. I just can't believe this is possible. There are screens everywhere with orders and all the details, and yet things go wrong. How-is-this-possible! Order cost more than €30 VAT.
