Busy place. Upstairs is always closed.

Disgusting food, you can just taste that it's full of junk ingredients. Doesn't taste like a hamburger at all anymore, just like the fries don't taste like potatoes.

Very slow, staff not always friendly. Especially in the drive-thru

Food incomplete, salad past its expiration date. People smoking on the terrace without staff intervening. Food is slammed onto the table by uninterested staff.

What a terrible McDonald's. Mediocre food and terrible service. You go through the drive-thru, order a 5-piece cheeseburger, and a spicy cheeseburger is rung up. Because this isn't the first time they haven't understood me since the employees aren't proficient in Dutch or English, I went inside and spoke to a manager. Even he had trouble understanding my standard Dutch. While I was standing there waiting for my correct order, several customers had to go back because their order was also wrong for the same reason!

Unfortunately, we stood in the McDonald's drive-thru for 15 minutes and no one came to take our order. We left hungry again, thank you.

We went there specifically because, according to Google, gluten-free rolls are available. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It is mentioned on their own website, but unfortunately, we relied on Google. Otherwise okay, but not great.

Had a good meal. It took quite a while, but at McDonald's you're just happy if everything is simply placed on the tray and straws and napkins are provided. The table was clean, as were the chairs and floor. Ample parking and tables. The staff was friendly.

No more Mac for me. Last time everyone was sick and we thought it might just be a stomach bug; this time it's exactly the same. Maybe it's time the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority took a look? In any case, it's been remarkably quiet and empty lately, and now I understand why... P.S. Check your order when you drive off, because it is never complete 😬

A large space where you can sit, both indoors and outdoors. The food tasted great and the service was friendly. Someone walking past our table even asked if we were enjoying our meal; they never do that back home in the Randstad (we are here on vacation).

Neat, friendly staff. It's just a shame that so many ice cubes go into the chocolate ice cream shake. It's actually undrinkable. You also don't have to wait long for your order.

Mc Drive including strawberry milkshake, mini chicken wrap, and 6 chicken nuggets. I find the paper straw in my milkshake downright disgusting. That is why I always have thick and thin plastic straws with me in the car as standard. The girl didn't speak Dutch But she was friendly 👍🏼

Very ‘busy’ tonight, according to the staff, at least. There was one staff member who was making things hectic. All orders came through, but were taken off the screen within a few minutes. Until 5 people hadn't received their orders. Staff members ridiculed another staff member for not being able to do their job. The manager stood by and watched. He also refused to speak to guests. He told the staff they just had to sort it out. He walked away when 5 people stood at the counter asking where their order was. Unprofessional, if you ask me.

Unfriendly staff... apparently it's hard to smile.

Fast service and the food was well prepared

Ordered via the kiosk, still hadn't received anything after 10 minutes. The receipt and table sugar were there. The entire order hadn't gone through. Then had to wait another 10 minutes for a cappuccino and McMuffin. Very bad.

Tasty burgers, but the place wasn't clean, even though it wasn't really busy and there was plenty of staff present.

Just had a Big Mac to warm up a bit. After a fun evening with the Bokkerijders, where it had gotten a bit chilly.

No gluten-free buns, even though that's standard practice in the Netherlands! A real disappointment. The branch manager should really think about inclusion…

Just ordered a burger... Came home and there was simply no burger on the bun. Things often go wrong here. Either something gets forgotten or the burger is just thrown together. Bacon undercooked, soggy fries (that's why I never order them here). This is a bad McDonald's. World of difference compared to other franchises.

I’ve gone to pick up food via the drive-thru a few times recently… The friendliness I used to expect from McDonald’s has truly disappeared completely. The employees you speak to here at the drive-thru are so negative and grumpy. Very annoying.

The food is really tasty, I really give the food a 10/10, and the service was very good and my food was ready quickly.

Horrible drive-through personal. One lady keeps screaming impatiently, asking for the Order. Contacted the owner about her already, but nothing has changed.

Big Arch is big, but pretty bland. The staff is friendly, but the place isn't very clean. The tables aren't wiped down, so they're often sticky and greasy from previous customers, and there's food and spilled drinks all over the floor.

Busy, but the staff are fast. Many cleaners present, so I can't complain.

Chaotically overcrowded. Staff hopelessly overwhelmed. Trash on tables and floor. The outdoor area was overrun with pigeons. Trash cans overflowing and trash on the ground. For those prices, you can find decent restaurants in Maastricht.

There were far too many pigeons and there weren't even any sauces.

Way too long waiting times, even when it wasn't busy. I ordered 2 burgers, but only got 1.

Fewer choices than in France, great plastic cups, but this McDonald's doesn't yet have plastic fry cones. That's a start. No recycling, which is surprising for the Netherlands. We arrived with our dog and after asking, pets were allowed. The employee even brought her a bowl of water. Very kind. Nice atmosphere. Spacious.

The atmosphere is lacking because there is no coziness; everything is sleek and soulless, and the upstairs is closed 9 out of 10 times.

I hadn't been there for a number of years after this branch was closed by order of the food authority. Yesterday, I decided to give it another try around 9 p.m. I went through the drive-in, and everything seemed to be working fine, because people in front of me were still receiving their orders through the window, but apparently the drive-in was suddenly 'broken'? The intercom, cash register, and card machine were still working, but everyone still had to come inside to order. Fortunately, the pizzeria in Amby was still open too!

Something is very often missing from the order at this branch. The toilet is always filthy and the tables greasy. Even if you go early, there is no one inside, and no one is in the drive-thru, you still have to wait 15 minutes at a hold point. It could all be better.

McDonald’s Geusselt the only place where you order a filet o fish and get a McKroket with fish sauce.

The cleaning could (must) be better; there is enough staff, but the tables and trays are full and dirty🤮 the youngsters working there couldn't care less, customers just want to sit at a clean table.

Came here with my partner, we ordered and forgot to buy a bottle of water, she went up to the counter asking for tap water (never had an issue with that anywhere), the employee rudly refused to serve her the tap water, and asked her why, she simply replied with I wanted to paracetamol and still refused. Moreover, food took a while to come, there was dirt in my cola, and our whole order was wrong, went up again to the counter asking them to fix it, and they managed to fix the cola but not my order. They got the order wrong twice, and was rudely treated... Took 30 minutes to get my order correct. Worst McDonald's in Maastricht.

I was refused tap water even though they are legally required to serve it if asked. I’ve never had this issue at any other mcdonald’s. Employee was incredibly rude, asked me what the water is for, and said he would only give me an empty cup. They also got my order wrong twice and it took ages to actually get it.

My boyfriend and I both ordered a cheeseburger at McDonald's, but I received my cheeseburger while my boyfriend didn't. The manager claimed they had given us both a cheeseburger and even said, "Don't play games with me," but my boyfriend never received his cheeseburger and didn't get his money back. One of the worst drive trough experiences I've had so far at the McDonald's. Apparently it's too difficult to deliver a little bit of of service.

Went to McDonald's again with the grandchildren, but the ice cream afterwards is a real joke. As is usually the case, actually. And the cone not even half-filled and not like in your photo, like you actually get everywhere, for €3.15 is highly rude.

Whenever we visited this place, it was always very nice and the service good. But lately at the drive-througj, theres a lady who has been acting very rude multiple times now. E.g not saying hello, rushing through order (not letting you speak)... this made the experience very upsetting.

We had to wait a long time for our food, almost half an hour. Then the fries were cold, and the drinks arrived a bit late. The staff wandered around at their leisure. We wouldn't go back.

If you can't make just one Big Tasty burger and one McCrispy burger, it's time for a new job. Maybe hoeing in landscaping is an option? 🤣

Delicious food when the order is complete

The Netherlands' problem is the lack of public restrooms, or a lack thereof. For motorists/travelers who are on the road early in the morning or late at night, the only restaurants available are breakfast restaurants, such as McDonald's Maastricht, for a cup of coffee and a quick visit to the restroom.

After eating this McDonald's, I suffered from intestinal and stomach problems and very poor service after reporting stomach and intestinal complaints, they do not take you seriously

Positive experience! First time seeing a McDonald's that's actually clean. The tables, chairs, and floor were tidy, and even the restroom smelled wonderfully fresh. You don't see that very often. Kudos to the team!

Well… McDonald’s. It is what it is. You generally know what you’re getting, but this location still disappoints. For a menu around €12, you expect a bit more these days, especially when a “large” order of fries no longer feels large and is gone in no time. Since the last time I was here, the interior has changed. Personally, I don’t think unfinished OBS boards give a good vibe to a restaurant at all. It looks like they’re still in the middle of renovations, even though they’re not. That doesn’t do much for the dining experience. We were here around midnight on a Saturday. It was even more strange that the doors were already locked, preventing new guests from entering. Several people still came to the door and had to turn around. That’s just not right: both the sign on the premises and Google clearly state that they’re open until 2:00 AM on Saturdays. You can’t close the place at midnight then. Even more strange: upon leaving, we had to exit through a small back entrance. That felt messy and illogical. The food itself didn't help either. The fries were far too salty—really too much—the sauce on the McCrispy was very sour, and the lettuce was limp and sad. Not fresh, not tasty. McDonald's has a certain nostalgia value, but objectively, it's simply not worth the money. Much more could have been done here. I've definitely visited better McDonald's restaurants.

Top location, not too crowded, good food, good service

I wanted to order Crispy Sensation, but it was sold out, so I ordered a crispy chicken. I thought I'd enjoy it at home, but on my second bite, I found a hair in my mouth. Not very tasty. I reported it through the website, but haven't gotten a response. It probably wasn't bad enough. I don't know if I'll order anything there again. I've never had any problems at other locations.

Mediocre service Long wait times, mediocre staff But okay, that's the experience, but then we get to the food That was really bad, as it was cold. And then you have to deal with the staff again. They don't offer any solutions. The hygiene was also not great.

DELICIOUS breakfast, worth repeating.

I placed an order today, and when I got home, the milkshake was missing. This is the umpteenth time something has been missing from my order. Normally I check before leaving, but since I was in a hurry, I couldn't. I immediately regret it, of course. The store is also impossible to reach by phone. You already pay a lot for McDonald's products, and then part of the order is missing! It's ridiculous. I'd be better off driving to the McDonald's in Geleen. That way, I'd have my complete order, and it would cost me less overall, even if I drove further.

Edible, that's all. Looking at the pictures on the menu makes it look good, but the reality is different. I had to search for the pickle on the cheeseburger. The fries were lukewarm and pale. It did arrive quickly, though.

Got the breakfast, little expensive but really good!

The staff are trying their best, but there was no structure. A lot went wrong, orders were issued incorrectly, and our order wasn't even processed at all. It only got made after asking twice. It also got very busy.

Sucks. In all the stores I’ve been to, whenever a delivery rider needs a bit of water, everyone is always happy to give some. This is the first place that told me, ‘If you want water, you have to buy it,’ even though I was there to pick up an order from them. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. The manager’s behavior was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Honestly, her attitude was so lacking in basic compassion that she could have been the kind of person who handed vinegar to Jesus on the cross when He asked for water. The staff are incredibly friendly and service-oriented. It's nice to see some older people working there instead of just young people. You really notice that throughout the entire staff.

We arrived at 17:20, super busy, so we waited a bit for our food. We had order 53 and 54. €30 approximately. There were 16 orders on the board, but that is the maximum there were more. We waited about 20 minutes, but it was okay, I had waited longer. I got a hamburger instead of a Mac wrap, so I exchanged it. The lady who helped me grabbed the box and pushed the Mac wrap into my hands, she didn't even look at me. What a bummer I think. I should have kept the hamburger because it was warm, the Mac wrap lukewarm. Back at my place my daughter misses the gravy, I go back and say that I miss the gravy. She asks (branch manager?) who helped me, so I point to the lady with the bale of day. She says to her, that gentleman misses his gravy. Then the lady with the bale of day grabs a bottle of gravy with a visible and audible sigh and gives it to me. Okay I can eat and find out that my wrap is lukewarm. Must have been sitting too long. My fries, oops they are cold, brr almost hurts my teeth. The kids' fries are also cold. But the sweet potato fries (separate order 54) were crispy and warm. So the 4 of us shared them. In the meantime even busier, lines almost outside (all from the pool?) no courage to complain at the cash register about the cold food. The salad was tasty my wife said, well that should be cold... Staff clearly lack motivation, also with cleaning. Trash can full and floor and tables were sticky. update 7-7-2025: went to the drive through. Coke without ice still had ice in it and literally all the sauces were not included. thanks!

This McDonalds is a lot cleaner than the one in Gronsveld and the people are a lot more friendly. Going here from now on. 😅

Very bad experience and very bad service, staff can’t communicate and always they make mistakes

Today, to celebrate my birthday, I had a delicious meal at McDonald's! Besides the birthday deal in the app, I got a McFlurry and a little later, a brownie with a balloon! The staff sang and came to congratulate me. It was truly so sweet and very special. Thank you for making this day even more beautiful. ♥️✨

No complaints about the burgers. But this afternoon I got ice cream: I had a sundae, my daughter a pistachio McFlurry (€2.95 and €4.15). However, they were only a quarter to half full. My sundae was gone in two bites – I've never had so little ice cream before; even my spoon looked disappointed. Definitely not going back!

Multiple mistakes; order errors, dirty tables everywhere, filthy floor, incredibly cold inside, and the restrooms were so filthy we didn't dare use them! Poo, vomit, toilet brushes on the floor, tampons on the floor—it was so disgusting!

Last night I went to get a Mac & Flurry for €4.30, only to be given a small ice cream base. When I approached an employee, he showed me some kind of line on the container. What a waste of money to pay for a small ice cream base. You won't see me again. I've heard this from several people. Such a shame!

I went to the McDrive, where I had to repeat my order eight times because the man at the payphone didn't speak a word of Dutch. It took the car in front of me 10 minutes to place my order. I only wanted nine chicken nuggets with two mustard sauces. It literally took the man five minutes to correctly guess what I wanted.

Far too greasy fish burgers and fries. Much greasier than in Belgian restaurants. Spent the whole night on the toilet. Very uncomfortable sauce packets, where you don't know where to put the contents. At least in Belgian restaurants, you get sauce pots to dip your fries in. No table service, unless something wasn't ready when you ordered it. The atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant are minimalist and cold. A large restaurant with a terrace, so plenty of room to sit. There's also ample parking across the street. There's also a separate charge for plastic waste, specifically for the packaging of the sauces. As if 0.85 cents wasn't expensive enough for a tablespoon of mayonnaise. You can get half a jar for that at Albert Heijn. So, a very bad experience at this McDonald's in Maastricht.

Excellent and fast help at the mcdrive

Well... the food... we've come to expect from McDonald's and Burger King that it doesn't look like the menu photo. The restaurant isn't clean, the tables aren't clean, and the restrooms aren't clean. Just cross the border to Lanaken/Maasmechelen and go to McDonald's or Burger King. It's a completely different experience; the price and quality are truly bizarre.

Depressing place. Taking a McDrive order takes excruciatingly long, and preparing it takes even longer. It took a total of 25 minutes, and even then, it's still incomplete; you still have to go inside. The burgers are thrown together and pressed into the paper without looking. It's as if the staff is absorbing the atmosphere of the place—sad and depressing.

Doesn’t have all menus like double fish. Service is poor they forget to put your cola. The prices are expensive comparing to Belgium and France.

45 mins from order, items missing from kids meals and fries like rocks (had to be exchanged) … Ronald would be very disappointed

Thinking you can grab a quick bite at 1:15 AM because everything else is closed? You'll end up waiting 15 minutes for your order. Only good if absolutely nothing else is open and you have a few teenagers to feed.
