That's the most disgusting place I ve been. In my life. I went out to smoke and when I tried to get back in they wouldn't let me in. I had my jacket inside and I couldn't take it, they bully me told me to call the police. DO NOT GO THERE. I REPEAT DO NOT GO THERE

Good security, the guy behind the bar called "Daan" is always a good person to have a nice chat with. Nice events, but don't go barging with a big group of people. The place is not too big, but it has a very nice hip-hop atmosphere and music.

Amazing vibes, the staff is super friendly, always cool hip hop music playing. The night I went there was a dj playing live, incredible set, danced all night. Also the owner is a really nice guy! I think this is my new fav bar in Ámsterdam.

Update of update! Many many years later lol!! 1996 kwam ik voor het eerst in de duivel. Weet je wat het is, dezelfde mensen die toen de hele vibe maakten maken het nu nog steeds. Ik hou met heel mijn hart van de duivel en ookal ga ik vrijwel nooit meer uit, als ik uit ga is het naar de Duivel 🥰🥰 Update... Many years later it's still the best place ever!!! Het leukste cafe van Amsterdam! Update... Ik weet niet hoeveel jaqr geleden ik dit heb gepost maar het is nog steeds mijn number 1️⃣ spot! I ❤️ duivel

Fun little place to grab a late night beer and relax

This used to be the Hip-Hop bar in Amsterdam. There's a lot of history in this place. The owners have changed but the vibe is the same. Love it.

Liked this bar, it's open until 2-3 a.m. during the week days which is quite unique to me.

I came here on holiday, they play good music but there was no atmosphere, it was very small and the drinks were a tad overpriced.

Irma gaf aan dat dit hét hiphop café van Amsterdam is, wij tijdens ADE dus hier nog bij "de Duivel" belandt, Croky de neef van Irma was er wel en ik had ook nog een cd van Ludson [foto] gekocht; ik verachtte 'Das EFX', 'FU Schnickens', 'NWA' etcetera. Het was wel gezellig maar waarschijnlijk vanwege ADE werd er weinig hiphop gedraaid?!? We gaan het ná ADE nog een keer proberen...

First time going clubbing in Amsterdam and would highly recommend if your looking for a good hip-hop vibe.
