Awesome selection of draft beers!

Fantastic range of beers, most are in bottle/can, but still a very good draft selection. Nice bar but a bit quiet when we went in early in the day.

Had an absolute wonderful experience with James. He was able to explain all types of beers very well and was super kind. We had a great evening!! Will be coming back soon

Did not have the food so can't rate that. But the beer selection is amazing and service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Loved the vibe.

The atmosphere was good. There was a wide selection of beers. You had to get your own drinks at the bar; there was no table service, strangely enough, despite it being a small restaurant. There was an error on the bill, but it was corrected after being pointed out.

I have been coming here for years. They have amazing beers and a huge selection of them that rotate weekly. The place has a great vibe and plenty of seating and space for groups as well. Service is never great with bar staff being rude or offended if you even ask a question about their selection. It’s almost like they aren’t getting paid. Still the beer is good enough to return even if ordering is a sour experience.

If you fancy trying a craft beer bar ,this is the place. It is covered walls to ceiling with bottles and cans ,not forgetting the range of handbills on the bar.

This bar has a great atmosphere. Dipping cheese in sweet date syrup was a new experience and it was delicious. The beer was great, and the staff were very friendly and nice.

It was a relaxing space. I ordered a Brouwerij 't Ij and a Brewdog. I remember the flavor being rich. But overall, it was a fleeting memory. Looking at the coaster, I was reminded of the luxurious time I spend each day. If I could turn a hazy memory into a vivid one, perhaps I too am the bartender of my own life. What is certain is that I am the bartender whose words and attitude are about to emerge.

We found this place by accident when visiting Amsterdam and were so happy we did. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable and the selection was beyond vast. My personal favourite was a Limoncello sour that I wish I could buy at home!

Not a very big place but cozy and original, with a good atmosphere and a multitude of different beers, I think all craft. We tried the sweet cherry and the peach and they were spectacular. And with the friendliest waiter in Amsterdam! In short: if you want to try different beers at a good price in a cool place where you will be treated wonderfully, you won't be disappointed.

A lovely traditional 'brown cafe' just off Waterlooplein serving a vast selection of beers. Very chilled and quiet whilst there but I expect it will fill up and be a lively hangout in the evening and weekends. Not one for the tourists but if you want a proper taste of the "bruin cafe" atmosphere you'll be very pleased.

Great place for any beer lover. There is something for everyone as they always have at least 30 beers on tap and many more bottled beers. The only thing missing was proper food as they only serve snacks and some toast. This is a big miss as some nice and tasty fingerfood such as wings would pair well with their extensive beer menu. The place is pretty small and fills up quickly, so be mindful when going with big groups.

We had 2 beers at the place. The barman said it will be €23 (which is expensive enough but fine) and then charged 38 on the terminal, purposely not showing us the terminal. Unfortunately i didnt check as i am the first time facing this. Total scam.

Such an awesome place to have some Cool beers on tap or cans or pints, absolutely loved it, tried the Sunshine indoors(mango with saffron) beer, you gotta try it, Rick is the man, he is absolutely a great bartender & his recommendations are worth it.

These guys had an Amazing selection of beers from small breweries. Me and Mike sampled a few. We had a coffee beer at the end which was REALLY nice. My fave was the IPA.....it was gorgeous !!!

Friendly bar. Stopped by for a drink alone (work trip) and didn’t feel out of place or unwelcome…in fact felt like I’d stumbled on a local spot (vs all the crowded and noisy touristy places nearby). It was easy to get a drink - the bartender kindly made a good recommendation.

Cosy little beer cafe with a healthy selection of craft beers on tap. My mate had a milkshake ale which was seriously like a strawberry milkshake. Awesome. Sadly, while I love beer, I’m off alcohol which meant the 0,0+- were my only choice. Thankfully, they had the best zero percenter the Netherlands have to offer: van der Streek’s “playground ipa”. If you have to go soft, go an IPA - they’re supremely better than any blonde or wheat beer could claim. A pils is also good. Wished we had gone straight here after our ribs. Great for a chill and chat and several supreme beverages to round off an evening. Highly recommend.

So many good draft beers ! I love a sour and they had plenty to choose from (bonus thay they were also local) along with so many others ! Blake is the best and charged my phone when it died and made so many good local suggestions for food and things to do in the city ! I will be back !

Went to Cafe Gollum last night with my buddy. The pub initially seemed a bit raw with a bad ambiance, but bartender Rick, an energetic Italian, turned that around completely. His kindness and dedication made our visit to this bar very special. The tapping was done down to the last detail for each glass and the way he served each beer showed true craftsmanship. At one point I got completely hard from him. If I were a woman I would have taken it home. This is a cafe we ​​will definitely go to more often👍👍🤩🤩

beer from 23 local breweries, the bartenders are nice, active and friendly. Immediately upon shaking hands, they asked what kind of beer the customer likes, and based on that, the bartender started suggesting a selection. The beers were fresh and that was really noticeable in the taste. There were plenty of options for alcohol content between 3.3-9%. Their cheeseplatter was excellent and worked nicely with the new england pale ales I had. At the end, I forgot a pack of cigarettes in the bar and the waiter ran after me to bring it. The service was exceptionally good for the entire visit and apparently afterwards as well.

Place looks good. Service was a disaster. We ordered some special beers, paid at well price, but not served as it deserves. We asked for a reason and they simply said it is like it is, you don’t like it, simply go.

Great and diverse beer selection. They have a good location and a nice ambiance and atmosphere. Good service, attentive. I would recommend the stop to anyone who likes beer. There are a few other drinks as well if you are with someone who does not like beer. Overall a good stop, the large menu from beer all around Europe a d location seems to be the best features.
