Love this place, been a few times. Couldn't tell you why. It's a little bit off the beaten track. It has a really warm, friendly, reassuring, lively atmosphere.

If I could give it 10 I would have given it 10, a big thank you to Helen and her colleague who were lovely and super welcoming + helpful to us, knowing that it was our first day and first time in Amsterdam we were completely disoriented! I recommend it 1000%, the place exudes a good atmosphere!

Nice pub with good, danceable music! Good beer selection and pleasant atmosphere! It stays open until late, so it's an ideal choice for late drinks.

Second most beautiful place in Amsterdam. Nice bartenders (especially Che), good music, too bad the Flugel is gone (my own fault). And the dish of the day may be vegetarian someday, then I'll come back on Wednesday.

Great bar for a night out! Only caveat is that the ladies toilet is a bit difficult to get to on a busy night, I feel like the sign by the time I shuffle through the crowd. All-in-all though, great

The staff was really nice, lots of conversation, good location, not too many people 👍 the prices were reasonable and you can smoke if you want to if you feel it's necessary.

Cozy brown Amsterdam cafe where people still speak Dutch. The cafe has a large bar, seating areas and terrace in front of the door. In addition to beer, 70 different bottles and taps, stronger drinks and cocktails, you can also get snacks

This is one of my favourite bars in Amsterdam. The drinks were excellent. Fairly priced. The people are fantastic who run it. They made us so welcome. I would 100 percent recommend a visit 👌.

Maybe best bar in Amsterdam! Small but the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Local drafts and large variety of drinks. Went in for a one drink, left long after three, just because I didn't want to leave this lovely place.

Would give 10 stars out of 5 if I could! The friendliest, warmest, most helpful and fun crew. Very grateful that they found our lost items and went above and beyond to reunite us. And did I mention how fun they are? Best experience.

Such a fun and unique bar right by Centraal Station. The atmosphere is incredible, with insane and eclectic interior decor that makes you feel at home in this bustling dive. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they really made the night special for everyone. The music is fun, they have 5 beers on draft and many more in the bottle. For such a small space they truly offer a great range of drinks and shots. Really lovely night - definitely recommend.

Happened to walk past this absolute GEM the other day and decided to sit outside to enjoy a drink and it made our entire trip (that was already a 10/10) 10x better!!!!! Helen, her husband and brother in law kept us laughing like old friends & provided the best hospitality! The outside has great seats with comfy cushions, partly shaded. The inside was next level - great atmosphere & vibes. Very clean & can’t rave enough about the staff and just overall experience we had.

Its a very cool bar with very kind people and very great bartenders! I think it is a must seen in Amsterdam!

We just wanted to come here for a beer and it was 3 hours… when the bartender told us it would be closed the next day we were very sad Had the cheapest beer in the whole city here And if you ask which beers are available you get very generous sample beers ;) We'd love to come back :)

You could immediately feel the atmosphere of the regular guests, which is very good, but it was too busy at the time we arrived.

Fabulous place, staff are so friendly and helpful. When it comes to 'Oh, which beer should I try'. You can sample the lot, and they have some wicked local beers.

The most fun I had during our Amsterdam stay. We came around midnight, or maybe past midnight, on a Saturday night. It looked quiet on the outside, like a small chilled pub, so we said 'let's have a drink and head somewhere else'. When we entered, we realized we were wrong. The place is small but it was packed, with music and people dancing and having a blast. We stayed until almost closing time. Service was friendly and vibes were amazing, it was full of locals and we danced to classic pop tunes and to some Dutch songs we never heard off. Super fun.

Empty when we entered (2pm) staff very friendly and lots of local draft beer. Stopped on the way to our coach home so only stayed for 1 drink. Will definitely return if I go back to Amsterdam

The place is like no other , they stay open for a bit longer than other places . the staff are always happy to help, and the ambience is very good.

What a gem. A friend of a friend is local and she said she would meet us here last Sunday night. What a recommendation. Really cool authentic Dutch bar. Some of the locals told me that "I found Amsterdam in Amsterdam, and I was privileged to be where tourists don't normally go."

Avevo bisogno di andare in bagno e mi sono fermato .. ho preso una birra per consumare .. posti fuori tutto esaurito e gira tanta bella gente .. all’interno un pub davvero particolare con tutto quello che desideri da bere .. molte birre alla spina .. è super alcolici .. vicino ad un canale .. bagno separato dalle donne .. e locale davvero particolare !! Birra 5,50 accettano carte e contanti ..

Deze bar is altijd leuk, gezellig en de bediening is zonder twijfel is van het hoogte niveau vindbaarheid in onze mooie hoofdstad. Een heerlijke ambiance van studenten, locale mensen en touristen. Een G&T kaart waar je U tegen zegt en ook ontzettend veel lekkere bieden en whiskeys. Zeker een aanrader na 10 uur savonds.
