Overall decent experience with some clear room for improvement. Beer selection is decent and the bar has a good atmosphere, but there is a varied experience with staff: Sometimes, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but we have also had experiences where staff was completely drunk or unwilling to assist. Decent bar, but would recommend trying other venues.

Amazing service!!! We forgot a small item half a year ago (without realising) and the owner recognised us and gave it back to us first thing we enter. Talk about good service. Furthermore the special beers are bomb, try the stouts!

Fantastic beer list with some excellent IPAs. Some outdoor seating and plenty of seating inside. They will order food for you from the spot across the street and I must say the wings were the best I’ve had in Europe. Friendly bartender. Reasonable prices.

We spent a few hours sampling several local beers each. There was a great selection! Really enjoyed the suggestions and expertise from the bartender (Yorick). The cheese was also very good! Very friendly, nice pub and the perfect way to end our holiday.

We didn’t know what a delightful time we were in for. The beer selection is huge as I’m always looking for a new and tasty brew. But Alex, behind the bar, made the difference. He was a great conversationalist, making us feel like we were drinking at home with friends.

Time for a proper review….. C&D is the best beer bar in Amsterdam. 40 taps that rotate so frequently I often find myself staring at the tap list as if it were a TV. The guys are great with all customers welcoming locals and visitors warmly and guiding them through the beer choice. Music is as eclectic and as diverse as the beer selection.

Amazing place, and friendly service

If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Craft n Draft yet then you’re in for a treat! My work brings me to Amsterdam every couple of months and I usually do the MoreBeer Tour, ending at this gem. In my experience (and the most important thing is that) they always have something amazing on tap. The prices are very reasonable and Alex and Merk are true gentleman. Knowledgeable about their offerings and great at entertaining the customers too. The perfect place to end a nice day in Amsterdam and an extra t-shirt in case it’s winter! Cheers Lads!

A lovely local neighborhood bar with a wide selection of national and international beers on tap. While the 5-star reviews may refer to the food, I see them as 5 stars for the beer and the impressive variety they offer. The two handsome lads behind the bar, are more than happy to recommend the perfect brew based on your taste. If you enjoy beer and a good atmosphere, definitely check this place out!

Yet another favourite in Amsterdam – Craft & Draft totally won me over. Popped in on a Friday, loved it, and found myself back again on Sunday. Even as a non-beer drinker, I really enjoyed exploring their selection – tried a few and was genuinely impressed. If you are a beer lover, this place must be a dream. What truly made it special though was the staff – so friendly, warm, and welcoming. Golden people, honestly. I ended up chatting with lovely locals and fellow visitors, swapping tips and stories over a pint. A proper feel-good place I’ll always return to.

I really like this place, I love their beers and I go every time I'm around Overtoom. But there is something that I don't like and I need to write something about it. There are two barmans there, one is slim, very nice and professional, good prepared about beers and always smiling. The other guy instead, looks just a bit racist, it looks like he doesn't like south European people. He was making stupid jokes about the origin of some clients, judging their way to use credit card, saying irritating phrases like "pay Italian way", "pay Spanish way", "pay greek way". I'd like to say something this barman, please don't act like that, is not nice. Some people heard already my experience and they decided to don't go anymore.

First time visiting yesterday, such a nice place! Came for one beer and stayed for 5. The bartender was incredibly friendly and gave me recommendations based on the beers. Definitely recommended!

We came for a drink as an aperitif but we were overwhelmed by the choice of tap beers. The bartender was very friendly in helping us make a good choice, including some tasting glasses. Very cool place to discover new flavors. The bartender was also a hero because he brought our son's hat when we were eating in the restaurant next door. Thanks again!

(Sept 2016) For mine only topped by Arendsnest in the beer list quality stakes. 40 taps built in with about 35 running during my visit. Space is cozy and modern with a sharp edge. Well worth the hike from the city centre and a good chance to see life go past in the (slightly) outer suburbs. Pricing in line with other venues. Very quite on a Monday afternoon.

Wonderful craft beer bar. We did the MoreBeer self guided tour and ended our tour here (and got our free shirt). We had a wonderful time hanging out with Alex and learning about the bar and tasting delicious beers. We didn't try the food as was full, but the list looked good! Definitely recommend stopping by!

Needed an afternoon beer so I found myself here. Turned out to be a great idea because after I told the bartender of my beer preference I was presented with a drink that instantly hit the spot. They have a huge selection and it would be a shame to not give a couple more things a shot. Loved it, good authentic beer, reasonably priced, great service and good vibes.

Really nice bar with a huge selection of local & international beers on the tap. No big brands, just small breweries offering their beers in this place. The barman was super funny and was a joy to talk to. We tried some of their white and blond beers which were all great. Definitely a bar I want to return to in the future.

A brewery with atmosphere. They have very good beers of their own and it is part of a Beer tour with this bar being the last stop. If you visit the 4 bars on the tour in 1 day at Craft & Draft they give you a t-shirt!

Very disappointing place. First of all - the hygiene. The bartender keeps the sink full of water and dips in it glasses after pouring beer into them to remove any beer on the outside of the glass. Good. However, he used the same sink with water to clean glasses inside before pouring water into them! Same water for hundreds of glasses!!!!! Second, the place does not accept cash which makes it difficult or even impossible for many people to pay. Beer tasted ok, however clealry overpriced. Wide selection of beers.

I found this place accidentally and my God what a find! Existence of such place, in a touristical city such as Amsterdam, is a gem. But what makes this bar special is actually Alex. We really enjoyed our stop at Craft & Draft. We did the Morebeer tour and ended up here late in the evening to claim our free tee-shirt. The bar was pretty empty as it is far out from the hustle and bustle. The beer selection is great, just as it is at all of the other Morebeer stops. The bar tender was super friendly, chill and was playing great music. We even got to make friends with his dog. I will wear my t-shirt with pride.

One of the best beer bars, if you like a lot of different beers. Or maybe you just like one type, then they still have 2 or 3 variants. I had a dark stout tasting like chocolate milk the last time. But they have sour, they have lager, they have IPA, they have to many taps to count. They have bar snacks, but next door have restaurants if someone wants/needs to wait for you 🙏

Awesome bar with 40+ beers. Staff are all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff are true Amsterdammers and super knowledgeable about beer but even the city. You can chat and hang there for hours. It’s a must stop when living or visiting the city.

If you’re an American, don’t come here. They cater to locals and don’t actually like people who aren’t locals/Dutch
