Shitty place. You're not even allowed to drink your beer outside in the fresh air compared to the stinking heat inside without the bartender storming out and throwing your beer on the street. Great service :/

We held an event for our student association at ODD last Wednesday and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was great, the owner and bartenders kept the atmosphere fun and lively and handled the karaoke machine the entire time. It was one of the least stressful events we ever had. Additionally we've been here for events before and it is always a good time. Definitely looking forward to next time!

Mediocre cafe, mediocre experience, mediocre menu

Bar staff sit with their guests while they are talking to each other and not being at one with the topic of conversation.

Unfortunately this evening I was not served properly, the staff was quite direct and could not deal with changes.

Personnel zat aan gasten omdat ze het niet leuk vonden waar de gasten hey over hadden terwijl hey niets met het personnel te maken had. Niet aan te raden.

We were here with Martin at the end of the afternoon on Friday. We had a great time and customer friendly. We will definitely come back soon when Martin is there again.

That guy with semi-long hair and a cap standing behind the bar is not quite right. Don't know what he drank or snorted, but his aggression is unhealthy.

I've been coming here for years. A fantastic brown café, friendly staff and a tasty snack. I definitely recommend Ouwe Dikke Dries! Beautifully located in the center, in the middle of District C.

I came here 22 years ago and wanted to spend an evening with my nephew (21). but was immediately refused at the door, it's a shame that such a grumpy doorman is at the door. wanted to show him the pub where I once went with his mother, but unfortunately...

Well, without a chef, no food and no bitterballen either. Then just nuts. But then the food is of course only one star. Service is fine, music too much Dutch for my liking

It is no longer the Café of 25 years ago. The nostalgic bar is still there and also has the appearance you would expect from a Café in District C in Utrecht. Where Dutch music always set the atmosphere, from Manke Nelis, Singer Without Name to Andre Hazes. Now there is a television screen where you can see Dire Straits perform and the sound of the band echoes through the Café. Then try Café Kanaalzicht on the Keulsekade in Utrecht.

The security guard sends good customers out of the business because of crony politics.

Donderdag 14 september was ik bij jullie, om 19.30 kwam ik aan Met twee vrienden. Er bleek besloten feest te zijn . Die zou om 20:00uur beginnen. Toen het uiteindelijk 20.00 uur was vroegen wij mogen wij nog een biertje en kunnen we afrekenen . Het laatste biertje kon er niet meer vanaf, terwijl het nog helemaal niet druk was er waren pas 10 mensen de besloten feest aangekomen. We werden eigenlijk gewoon weggestuurd, ik vind het echt geen reclame. Ik , mijn blinde vriend en m’n neefje werden eigenlijk op straat gegooid. Schande !

Totaal geen sfeer en aandacht, was vroeger echt wel anders.

Afstuderen feestje kon hier gehouden worden. Aardige mensen via telefoon/ mail en in de kroeg op de avond zelf. Blij dat alles bespreekbaar was.

Café puntje puntje (Hillegom) maar dan in Utrecht. Foute feestmuziek en plakkende vloeren, maken toch een goede avond een echt feestje. Helaas wel echt slechte wijn.

Hier kun je nog een normaal gesprek voeren. Gezellige barman en leuke mensen ontmoet.

Very Dutch kroeg with all prons and cons. If you want a boeren atmosphere right place to go, simple food, simple public. For anything beyond beer+fries student type of experience better to avoid.

We hebben heerlijk geluncht bij dikke dries. Goed belegd en groot pistoletje. Gezellig buiten gezeten en met Martin gekletst. Een aanrader!

Super genoten van een heerlijke lunch. Vriendelijk personeel. Gezellig eetcafe met leuke muziek.

Donkerbruin eetcafé wat er helaas niet zo aantrekkelijk uit ziet om in Cornatijd te eten. Kok stond voor de deur te roken; zag er binnen donker en bedompen uit. We hebben de reservering daarom laten lopen…

Super gezellig eetcafé met leuke gezellige eigenaar heerlijke groenten soep en broodje tonijn gegeten aanrader!

Gouden locatie voor een goede borrel, in een mooi echt Utregs café!

Dit was echt ons café na een middagje Utrecht met vrienden. Maar helaas afgelopen vrijdag was er totaal geen sfeer. De dame achter de bar zat aan een tafeltje we denken bij haar vriendinnen. Daar was je overigens wel erg druk mee buiten het eten om. We hebben een drankje gepakt en meteen zijn we vertrokken! De kok stond buiten te roken (die stank trok de kroeg in). Nee we miste echt Martin!

Gereserveerd voor 20 man, echter bij aankomst stonden we voor een dichte kroeg, na contact met de eigenaar bleek dat men even vergeten was door te geven dat men op vakantie was…

Altijd gezellig met onze Martin

Gezellig oud bruincafe, gastvrije ontvangst, attente bediening en gezellige herkenbare muziek. Met socialdeal een twee gangen lunch gegeten. Niks op aan te merken, lekkere tomatensoep, salade carpaccio en een hamburger. Niks meer aan doen, zeker de moeite waard om te proberen. Dank.

Gezellig cafe nabij het Vredenburg waar je gewoon lekker even aan de bar kunt zitten of hangen na wat je wenst. Uiteraard zijn er ook een paar tafeltjes waar je aan kunt zitten en de barman Martin is gewoon een leuke vent die klaar staat! Niet gegeten wel een bitterbal garnituur prima in orde!

Via social deal een 2 gangen lunch voor 7,50 geboekt. Maar geen aanrader. De ober was aardig. Duurde lang voordat we het eten kregen. Een soep vd dag (tomaten soep was erg zuur) maaltijdsalade kip was ook niet zoals op kaart stond. Ipv gerookte kip was het met hard gebakken stukjes kip (zelfs met zwarte stukjes) zonder brood . Uitsmijter Utrecht werd lauw geserveerd. Bediening was ok Geen aanrader dus!
