I performed here with the Brooker Shanty's and didn't eat. Everything looked perfect. There's also a large parking lot, which is handy for a quick bite or something else.

Delicious food, friendly service, excellent value, and in some places, a beautiful view. What more could you ask for? It was our first time, but it certainly won't be our last!

A great venue for groups or buses. Fast and efficient service. And yet a friendly atmosphere.

Visited as part of a snack and dinner package. First, we had delicious coffee and pie, and upon returning, we had a delicious lunch (pastry and a "uitsmijter" with a mountain view). Both were superb. The service was also attentive, friendly, and humorous. In short, highly recommended.

Thanks to the Smart Market gift card, we ended up at Bergzicht. We were pleasantly surprised. The lunch was delicious, the staff extremely hospitable, and the atmosphere was cozy. You get more than enough. We'll definitely be back. It's highly recommended!

We bought a gnome route ticket through Smartmarket. This included an ice cream beforehand and a pancake or poffertjes (mini pancakes) with a route afterward. When you think of a gnome route, you think of small children. This was almost impossible for young children. Even for a 5-year-old, it was impossible with the number of nettles and rough paths. When I pointed out that the route wasn't suitable for small children, there was no response. The pancakes were like cardboard, and we had ordered a waffle. Neither the pancake nor the waffle were fresh. There were four staff members walking around, only two of whom took orders and came to you. They were very friendly, though. I saw the other two constantly setting tables and didn't engage with visitors.

We had a birthday party for 12 people, and the menu choices had already been submitted in advance. A minor adjustment: one cancellation due to illness. The waiters weren't assigned to our table, so sometimes not everyone was asked for drinks, and the next time, the waiter brought the wrong drink. The starter wasn't served consecutively, and I thought mine, carpatio, wasn't really worth the price. The main course, the dish that wasn't supposed to be served, was served first... But we had reported it. (To whom, again!) This meant another dish had to be quickly prepared, as they had stopped at 11 dishes. Meanwhile, several waiters asked for drink suggestions, but this wasn't coordinated. Finally, dessert arrived. Again, waiter one took our requests, and waiter two delivered them. Let's start with two "dame noir"... once, twice... nobody? NO, nobody at the table had ordered this... Shame on us. And if you say, the whole restaurant was full... Not at all. No, in my experience, the price-quality ratio is completely out of whack. Expensive, little, and nothing special about the taste or quality that would justify this establishment's good name. They did, however, make an effort to put the birthday boy in the spotlight with appropriate decorations, a fire fountain with dessert, and a small gift! Then, a few days later, you get a response to this review, and the person who commented goes to great lengths to make excuses that it wasn't their fault and that, as the guest of the celebrant, I don't really know what I'm talking about. Very professional... Conclusion: it's truly an overrated, overpriced establishment for the quality, service, and flexibility they offer.

Stopped by late one night, but they still managed to cook a delicious Schitzel ! The young man that greeted me (not sure of his name) is probably the best waiter I’ve ever met in Europe. I recommend this place.

Ordered a stew. A total of 6 pieces of meat! Why are you counting the pieces? Because they dare to charge €9.50 for 1 liter of water! We mentioned that the flavor was good, but that 6 pieces of meat was a very meager amount. The response we got was that it's supposed to be a stew. And you're paying €20 for that. Disgraceful, this is ripping off your customers.

There were 2 large groups, which meant you had to wait a little longer for your food. But the food and the service made up for it. Week 34 We went for dinner, pork tenderloin satay for 2 people. I ordered a chicken burger and a schnitzel with pepper sauce. The burger was tasty, but I didn’t enjoy the schnitzel. The restaurant only offered pork schnitzel, not chicken. Additionally, the sauce wasn’t to my liking. However, the atmosphere and service were great, and the staff were very nice and friendly.

Vandaag vanwege de goede recensies daar gegeten. Er werd een warme groente bij het gerecht geserveerd. Een echte vieze misser. Dan de schnitzel met jagersaus. Deze gefrituurde schnitzel was minstens 2x gefrituurd. Zò hard dat hij zo goed als niet te snijden was. Omdat we uitgenodigd waren voor het eten heb ik geen bezwaar gemaakt. Dat zou een blamage voor de gever zijn geweest. De rest van het eten was heeel goed. Bijna onbegrijpelijk dat er twee echte missers waren! Jammer...

Zijn hier gister gaan eten. Werden vriendelijk begroet, het was heel erg rustig op een zaterdag. Eten was echt verrukkelijk! Ik had een zalm en mijn man een potje zuurvlees. Het was zo ontzettend lekker! Ik gun deze mensen echt meer drukte!! Wij komen zeker nog eens langs

Vijlen is een klein dorpje bij Vaals. Het kent een aparte stijl dat past in het landschap.

Bin jeden Sonntag da...meine bevorzugte Fahrradroute....es ist ein tolle Lokation...man fühlt sich dort einfach wohl.....alle sind sehr freundlich und kompetent...Kuchen wie auch die Speisen sind bisher alle Top....und das Beste ist natürlich Tongerlo vom Fass...herrlich...sehr zu empfehlen,wenn man sich mal für eine kurze Zeit wohlfühlen möchte....und mit dem Fahrrad in 30 min von Aachen da....

sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, was schnell bedient hat und oft nachgefragt hat, ob alles in Ordnung sei und ob man noch was trinken möchte. Essen war nett angerichtet und lecker. wir fanden es sehr nett dort.

Bergzicht Vijlen heeft een grote Historie en is een waar begrip binnen Vijlen en omstreken. Deze locatie heeft de bezoeker veel te bieden. Er is een café, een restaurant, een zaal en een groot terras. Het café is voor een lekkere borrelhap, pilsje, koffie of frisdrank. Het Restaurant heeft lekkere gerechten op de menukaart. De zaal biedt genoeg plek voor grote groepen mensen en het grote terras is een mooie plek om op een warme dag onder de grote parasols plaats te nemen.

Aan t begin was alles top.. het eten was sowieso geweldig. Maar service was ver te zoeken. Kwam denk ik doordat er te weinig personeel was. Mijn tip. Zorg ervoor dat als je weinig personeel hebt dat je niet alle tafels vol gooit

Onvriendelijke eigenaren, personeel is niet in staat om bij drukte de klanten te bedienen. 4 mensen achter de bar en 20 minuten in de rij moeten staan voor ‘n drankje.

Waren zum Midsummer Blues Festival dort. Gut organisiert, leckeres Essen, die Bedienung hatte viel zu tun, war aber freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We hebben hier 's middags geluncht bij een bezoek aan Vaals. Een geluk dat we na onze wandeling door de bossen deze plaats toevallig passeerde We aten er een (glutenvrij) broodje met zalm, En een broodje crispy chicken op het gezellig terras. Supper lekkere, goed gevulde broodjes, mooi geserveerd, Het personeel is er vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wat ons betreft een aanrader. Wij komen hier zeker nog terug bij een nieuw bezoekje aan Vaals.

Leuke gelegenheid met vriendelijke mensen. Lekker eten en best betaalbaar. Wij waren er met de auto club.

Mooi exclusief restaurant, mooie ligging, klasse personeel, sjieke bediening, laat het dan duurder uitvallen, maar dan heb je ook wat, ga zo door......

Ruime keuze aan gerechten. Niet alles was lekker. (Te zout/te flauw etc.) +Ruime parkeerplaats.

De tafel werd pas schoongemaakt toen we reeds aan tafel zaten. Eten niet bijzonder.

Super geregeld en georganiseerd! Aangegeven dat wij met ongeveer 45 personen aanwezig zouden zijn voor koffie en vlaai en dat was geen enkel probleem! Eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en belde zelfs op woensdag nog even op, om te controleren of alles nog doorging en het aantal personen! Zeer prettige ervaring en onze groep heeft genoten van de vlaai!

Paasbrunch gehad met familie. Al vaker hier geweest. Eten en drinken top verzorgd en erg lekker. Correcte en vriendelijke bediening.

Dit is één van onze voorkeur restaurants. Leuke gezellige sfeer en inrichting, net en vriendelijk personeel, het eten is altijd lekker.

Denke essen ist auch gut das Restaurant war gut besucht, schöne Aussicht übers heuvel Land.

Hier heerlijk gegeten met 9 personen (7 volwassenen, 2 kids). Supervriendelijke bediening (toevallig allemaal aardige jongemannen, vond ik wel een grappige constatering 😁). Heerlijk eten en ook mooi én tegelijk opgediend. Veel van alles: normaal moet je nog vragen voor wat extra's, dan krijg je vaak 2 mini-kommetjes frites met zoveel man, nu in overvloed. Gezellig en sfeervol restaurant. In één woord perfect en wij komen zeker terug! 👍🏻🍽️🍻

Het eten in bergzicht is fantastisch. We hadden de zalm en stoofpotje zuurvlees. Ontzettend lekker en smaakvol. Heerlijk met sla, friet en groenten. Aan alles is gedacht. Sausjes zitten er standaard bij en je mag zelfs extra groenten bij bestellen. Alles is vers en bijzonder goed op smaak. Heerlijke streekwijnen en ook alcoholvrij bier. Echte Limburgse gastvrijheid en gezelligheid. De bediening is vriendelijk, attent en snel. Zeer lekker en gezellig gegeten voor een goede prijs. Hier gaan we zeker vaker komen!!!! Hartelijk dank voor de fijne avond.
