There's a strong smell of marijuana... In the Netherlands, it's legal, so you'll smell it on the streets. But the fact that it's being used inside the establishment is a different matter. Something needs to be done; the smell isn't coming from outside because it's being used inside, the smell was very strong. And when I mentioned this to the employee, he said, "I'm a waiter, not the owner, and this is an establishment that serves alcohol." He probably uses it too; that's not a valid defense. In Germany, for example, this substance is legal, sold in vending machines, and you'll smell it on certain streets and avenues. But I didn't smell it in any restaurant in Germany. We went to the Netherlands for a day trip, visited many businesses, and only smelled this odor there. Don't come with your family; it's not suitable.

Excellent local bar we found by chance while walking through Amsterdam. Friendly staff and lots of excellent beers to choose from. I wish it was in my neighborhood back home!

Lovely traditional pub. Nice terrace. Wide selection of beers. Plus a delicious Van Wees. Plus Zuidam Corenwijn.

Great bar just behind Waterlooplein, for locals with locals but if I were a tourist I would definitely go here, as this bar hits different and not only has a great selection of draft beers on tap but also a lovely host and little terrace in the front. Some of the lower ratings for this bar are very old and outdated.

Incredible bar with such a cool bartender. Nice Dutch beers on tap, intriguing art and decorations on the walls. Really great place to have a drink and relax. Will definitely be back.

Small but very cosy pub. Superb service from the bartender, both in selecting excellent beers for us but also for the good soccer talk!

Perfect for a drink in the evening. Really nice and chill location with a cool flair and absolutely the best staff! There was however no food served besides some nuts.

Het weekend Amsterdam hier afgesloten. Wat een fijn cafe met veel lokale gasten. Een lekker goed getapt biertje Ook nog eens fijne prijzen tov prijzen in het centrum van Amsterdam. We komen nog eens terug

Mooi Cafe in een historisch pand met een prettig terras. De uitbaters zijn geweldige mensen en altijd vriendelijk!

Fijn café waar ze verschillende heerlijke bieren hebben, een interieur van een echte bruine kroeg maar bovenal hart voor al hun klanten.

Geweldige plek, met altijd de lekkerste biertjes die met liefde zijn getapt!

Een waanzinnige plek die helemaal als thuis voelt. Inge en Henk zijn het dynamische duo van deze eeuw. Stamkroeg 'til I die

Dit is een fijn, vrij verborgen dranklokaal met een grootse sfeer. Uitbater Inge is een toppertje en soms heb je het geluk Sjoerd van Ramshorst achter de toog aan te treffen, de licht lispelende sportpresentator van de NOS. Prima kroeg kortom!

Geweldige ervaring fantastische avond gehad met de eigenaar Henkie kelner gezellige gozer. Goede barkeeper weet de mensen te vermaken.

Klein buurtcafe. Veel studenten van naastgelegen Filmacademie. Leuke uitbaters , Echt Amsterdams.

Inge geeft altijd een super service!
