Absolutely delicious lunch at Caffè Macchiato! The smoked salmon sandwich was fresh, generous, and full of flavor, paired perfectly with a crisp side salad. A great spot for everything from a simple cup of coffee (also available to go) to a hearty breakfast or a delicious lunch. It’s also a great spot to get some work done for an hour or so, naturally with a cup of coffee or lunch on the side. Friendly staff, great service, a cozy atmosphere, and outlets to charge your devices. This morning, I worked there on my laptop for about 3 hours (while there were still seats available for others). I enjoyed delicious coffee and a great lunch at a reasonable price. There’s short-term parking in front of the café and a parking garage nearby.

We were passing through and stayed at a hotel nearby. The food was delicious, the atmosphere lovely, and the service perfect. Despite the heat, it was very pleasantly cool inside. Highly recommended.

There are two areas one for cafe and one for dining. (1) the place looks lovely, the decor is fantastic, and makes for good photos (2) definitely some miscommunication with both staff members, I definitely think the language was a barrier (speaking English). (3) We went twice and it was pretty slow, no one was really there, however the service was slow and a few errors were made. They did apologize... but it just took a while for correction to be made. (4) The food itself was fine, and the drinks were okay too.

We went here for brunch and had a great experience. We ordered a panini of cheese and ham and a sandwich of mozarella, cheese and pesto. Food was really delicious and coffee as well. There is the possibility to order gluten free bread for the sandwiches. Very close to the station and the staff were really friendly as well. I recommend!

We did end up having a nice meal. But after sitting for at least 10 minutes, no one came to serve us. So we went to the cafe next door, which actually belongs to them as well. We wanted to eat yogurt, but they didn't serve it there. And there, we were misinformed about the opening hours of Cafe Machiato. So it all started off a bit wrong, but in the end, we did get tasty yogurt and coffee.

For an exclusive business event for women, I chose Caffè Macchiato, and that was absolutely the right choice. The food was meticulously prepared. From refined sushi to flavorful, fresh sandwiches, everything was spot on. The sushi really stood out for me; I have rarely eaten anything so fresh and flavorful. What makes this place special is that you can tell attention has gone into every detail. Not only in the dishes, but also in the presentation and the service. It felt well-cared for, warm, and professional, exactly what you want when organizing an event. A venue where quality and experience come together. I will definitely be back.

I was there at 7 ish in the evening and the staff told me «  the kitchen is closed « though it says they close at 8pm in the navigator

We were hoping to enjoy a nice, slightly later breakfast, but our expectations were not met at all. The place was nearly empty, yet it still took almost an hour for us to receive a simple avo toast with egg (very dry). The “breakfast complete” did not match the description or pictures— instead of scrambled eggs we received one sad fried egg, and there was no jam, no hummus, and the whole portion was far below what you would expect after waiting an hour. No one apologised for the long wait or acknowledged the delay. It honestly felt like we were interrupting the staff.

I was here tonight and ordered a rosé wine. It was a white wine. So I went to the counter and asked for my rose. They told me I had a rose. The guy asked the waitress which bottle she had used. She showed the full and closed rose bottle and then he said to me, yes I saw her use that bottle. Does not make sense. So I got stuck with the white wine. When the bill arrived, they had charged me for a Pinot Grigio which is a white wine. I am really disappointed, this is just bad customer service.

As an Italian I can say this is a great espresso and cappuccino. The service is fast and the quality is top -- the "Olivia Wilde" girl that served me had always a smile in her face! Very recommended

The food was good, but the level of service was absolutely bad and the waiter was extremely arrogant.

We were there before lunch (12:00), which meant we couldn't order sandwiches from the lunch menu yet. Luckily, the staff was flexible, and we were able to order a sandwich before noon :) Delicious coffee and very friendly staff.

The food was delicious! We especially enjoyed the sushi, salmon, and beef tataki. I went there with family and friends. Easy parking, friendly staff, nicely decorated restaurant, clean restrooms. Everything was perfect. All in all, a great evening.

My experience was not the best, I always take a look on the Google photos first to see what I want to eat. This time I was disappointed because my plate was not looking like in the photo. My gambas were overcooked and swimming in lots of oil. The pictures I will attach to my review are the one I ordered and the one I looked in the Google photos. Right away, the service was great 👍

Ik snap niets van de eerdere beoordelingen die niet positief zijn. Mijn man en ik komen hier al een paar jaar zeer regelmatig. Koffie , lunch en sinds een jaar na de uitbreiding van het cafe, overheerlijke verse diners. Ook regelmatig werk relaties meegenomen en iedereen is altijd even enthousiast. De eigenaar kennen we nu al zo lang en we hebben een zeer leuke vriendschappelijke band gekregen. Ook naar andere klanten toe zie ik iedereen die er werkt zeer attent zijn, naar de gasten. Het is een echte aanwinst in Hoofddorp qua kwaliteit van het eten, vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid!

UNRELIABLE OWNER! After having made a reservation 5 weeks in advance through a voucher offer from this restaurant for my birthday, the reservation was canceled by this restaurant a week before the reservation date without giving a reason and without an option for another date. These dates were all closed in the reservation system. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT: reservations made mean nothing for them. Response to the 'owner's response' We all think it is a shame and sad that you are out to destroy entrepreneurs. Making a factual representation is not to 'destroy' entrepreneurs but to warn other customers. As a guest in possession of a voucher, I was only able to make one reservation 5 weeks in advance. That reservation was canceled twice by the owner without giving any reason, after I rebooked after the first cancellation. My paid voucher was not respected. I no longer feel the need to make a reservation with such an 'entrepreneur'.

Delicious food, great and fast service and a huge gin & tonic. Relax outside on the terrace. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back. Tip: The prawn salad with grilled prawns was delicious!

Unfortunately the most expensive and poor quality ice matcha I have ever ordered. A mega cup full of ice, lots of milk and a little bit of matcha powder, which was quickly and lumpily added with a spoon. €6 euros.

The food was tasty, we didn't get any further than a croissant and coffee, because we didn't dare have a sandwich. It's a shame that they don't do anything about hygiene, which is actually number one in a good, beautiful restaurant. Ladies have long nails and make sandwiches without gloves which is absolutely gross. Most bacteria are located under the nails, especially long nails. People who are ill with a low immune system can become ill very quickly, it is a pity that this is not taken into account. Furthermore, it is a good tent, but hygiene is lacking. My apologies for having to report this

We just had an amazing evening there, The waiter and the chef is so lovely, the sushi is to die for excellent and we highly recommend this place. Happy hour on Thursday and Friday, also nice drinks. We've been guests of Caffe Macchiato (the sandwich shop next door) for a while now and love their quality. So when one of our colleagues had a rather special birthday coming up, we wanted to celebrate with a nice lunch at the newly opened Grand Caffe Macchiato. Spoke to Selim before the lunch about what we had in mind and his approach was very welcome. Warm personality, practical suggestions and quick but complete in his email correspondence. Had a selection of poké bowls, salads and sandwiches, great taste! AND ... they can make most of it glutenfree which was very pleasant for the 1 celiac we have within the team. To top it all off: Selim had ordered a wonderful (chocolate) cake for the birthday girl which we enjoyed later that afternoon back in the office. And ... important for a (business) lunch, we were back within the hour. Thanks for all your help and hospitality! Highly recommended

What is a good morning without a great coffee?

Very relaxed atmosphere to eat. Service was great, food was an explosion of taste in every bite. The owner's son Mr. Kayla was great, went through the menu with took his time and explained everything. Strongly recommend this place, food super tasteful and made to order.

The coffee is delicious. I ordered a takeout ham and cheese omelette and it was disappointing to say the least especially for the price. It looked like someone threw an egg over the bread and that was it. No sides or condiments. Service could be better.

Cozy location (and take away is also possible), very friendly service, quite extensive choice of all kinds of tasty food. Recommended! I think they will expand soon... a visit is definitely worth it :-)

Tasty sandwiches but oh how the coffee is not good. Advice: hire a real barista who loves coffee. Now I got a coffee that was burnt (in the machine too long before water passed through it) and milk that was way too far. Very unfortunate because it is a potential tent!

Leuke en sfeervolle koffiezaak, met verschillende broodjes, panini en smoothie te verkrijgen.

Es war OK - Personal aber eher unaufmerksam. Getränke müssen selber geholt werden. Auch wenn man vor Ort konsumiert Getränke im Plastikbecher bzw. Pappbecher - das muss nicht sein.

A small cozy coffee, breakfast and lunch bar, clean, fresh products and friendly personnel. Offers a ice variety of food and drinks. The croissants are freshly baked and smell delicious. Parking is limited and since most surrounded buildings are offices with private parking, this can be challenging. However we were lucky enough to find a new a parking spot in front of the bar.
