We were 6 people to have breakfast, when we just arrived one of the staff greeted us and said that gonna take the orders soon but they made us wait more than 30 minutes and we just left and they even didn’t apologise but just ignored us

Very pleasantly surprised by the super friendly staff and the peaceful and enchanting setting. I was even served a dish that wasn't on the menu to accommodate a special request, and it was prepared with love and care, and presented enticingly. A big thank you for this thoughtfulness! I highly recommend it... and the prices are really affordable for all this generosity! 😍😍😍🤩

Great drinks and food, fresh, good coffee, nice staff

They are very friendly and helpful. The coffee is, in my opinion, the best in Hoofddorp. The food is genuinely delicious and fresh. The people on the terrace are always pleasant.

Wonderful and friendly staff. Good and tasty food. The portions are larger than I thought but delicious. I recommend the hazelnut latte, the loaded fries and or sweet potato fries. The café is less busy on the Sunday afternoon to early evening. Enjoy.

Completely ignored upon arrival, they told me they were closing in 45 minutes. No one said, "Have a seat," or "How can I help you?" Not even a simple greeting. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED!

No greeting, no help, and no presence. Three or four girls present who literally do nothing. They don't greet you, don't show you a seat, and don't offer a menu. I left without getting anything.

Good food for not too high prices. The atmosphere is fine but it is a bit bare and a bit boring. Otherwise nice service and a fine establishment!

No vegan option for cake or pie. Too bad, but it can happen. Putting Cortado on your menu for €3.20 and then having to pay €4.70... when I asked, it turned out that there are two types of cortado (which you don't mention on your menu) and that I (without consultation) got the large size and could pay. Furthermore, while having my coffee, I could listen to the chatting staff that was above the music. Too bad, it used to be a nice place.

When I entered I was completely ignored. Even after I made eye contact and raised my hand. There was a man and woman working but they were talking to each other and the employee was also quietly drinking her drink. There was no hello or smile. Eventually I was helped by a friendly lady. While waiting for my order I almost walked away because there was so much noise. The staff has no eye for customers and are mainly busy with each other and talking loudly to be heard above the music. Totally unprofessional. When I asked, it turned out that the man who ignored me was the manager. For me that says enough and I left it at that.

Ate his super chicken sandwich!!!! Unfortunately with fries. But that was also great. Personally one of the best sandwiches ever!!! This makes me very happy.

Very tightly packed. Far too small or there are too many tables. Very messy. The glazier at the entrance is really dirty.

I won't go back myself. The service is excellent, but everything is made by hand without gloves. Hands dirty? Just rub them on their shirt. It is either warmed up or comes from the supermarket. Not worth the money for me. The only good thing was the coffee.

Paid about 14 euros for our lunch sandwich with lettuce and avocado. 1 slice of bread!! Pulled beef sandwich same amount.1hamburger sandwich! Furthermore, there was nothing on the plate, no nice decoration. Staff shouting at each other as they walked through the store towards the terrace, two male staff members behind the counter who did not say boo or yuck and also looked unfriendly. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food while it was completely empty inside and the terrace was two-thirds occupied. While we almost went cross-eyed from hunger and the atmosphere among the three of us was quite depressed, a staff member stood behind the counter quietly eating a container of yoghurt (or something similar). spoon. Smoothies were delicious and the sandwiches also tasted good, but we were still hungry afterwards. What a disgrace for that money 😩

The food at Frenkie is made with love and passion and this can certainly be tasted. We come here several times a week and the quality is always good! Super nice staff who definitely make you feel welcome. This will certainly remain our regular lunch spot in Hoofddorp.

Popped in for a coffee during a cold and damp Sunday morning whilst shopping in the town. Had a delightful Latte. My partner had the decaf latte (NB not all cafes cater for decaf in this area). To compliment the coffee we enjoyed a delicious carrot cake. The savouries looked good too. All at reasonable prices. Really friendly and attentive staff and overall a spacious, clean and pleasing place to relax and take a breather between the shopping.

We had a delicious lunch here. I really liked the shrimp croquettes on bread in combination with the avocado, tomatoes and arugula. The girls at the counter work quickly and are friendly. There were three of us and a spot was created for us because it was quite busy. It is true that the toilet can only be reached via a steep staircase. Some dishes are quite pricey, but there are also toasted sandwiches that are slightly cheaper on the menu.

Great food and ambiance! We tried avocado and burrata smash for lunch and both of them tasted delicious. Sitting outside on a sunny day is definitely recommended, but inside is also nice & cozy. Service is not the fastest, but staff is very friendly. Would definetely come back to try other things in the menu.

Restaurant met leuk en gezellig personeel, mooie- en zeer goede kwaliteit van gerechten, hadden Zalm en Spice kip genomen en gaan zeker nog terug komen , dit is voor herhaling vatbaar.

It looks nice and clean, but if you have difficulty walking, it is better not to go here. The toilet is downstairs with a very steep staircase. I only have 2 sandwiches here, 1 tea and a coke cost more than 20 euros, I think it's very expensive there.

Lovely gem of a cafe! The smoked salmon salad was delicious and filling, and the chai latte heavenly. Staff was friendly with quick service. A must visit when in Hoofddorp 🙂

Nice staff, but a regular coffee for €4.70 is ridiculously expensive for this location (village).

We stopped here for a cappucino and were not disappointed. The coffee was high quality and at par with some of the best coffee shops in Amsterdam. Did not try the food but it looked quite good.

All I can say is AMAZING! Now my daily spot to get a coffee. Ordered food from the new menu today and it was delicious! Very nice friendly employees, nothing but praise!

Very nice location for a good coffee and a good snack. Many healthy options as well and the staff are always smiling and polite. Shop is also clean and always seem to have a nice atmosphere

This cafe is a gem! They serve nice coffee in a cozy atmosphere with warm staff. The cakes look absolutely delicious, and the service is wonderful. Highly recommended for a delightful treat!

My favorite place in Hoofddorp and surrounding areas. Feels like coming home. The food is nice. Meat, vegetarian, fish, fried, vegan or a super salad. They have everything! Seriously the best coffee in town! Tasty pastries and a nice team. Can't wait for summer, wine on the terrace and drinks! 🥰🤩

What a super nice place. Relaxed atmosphere and the sandwiches that come out of the kitchen are made with so much love. You can taste that. Full of sandwiches with delicious flavors. I had the salmon on a slice of bread.

My daughter (13) and I came for lunch. We were just ignored. I indicated that I wanted to order and was still looked at by 2 employees. A man and a woman. My daughter and I had already been sitting for 10 minutes and after indicating that we wanted to order, the lady started doing everything such as emptying the dishwasher. Arranging plates and her colleague just looked at us knowing we were waiting and we ended up walking away out of anger. SCANDALOUS!

We went during opening hours for breakfast on a Saturday but they did not have anything but coffee and sad looking desserts. But I appreciated the staff saying up front that there was no food.

Goede ervaring. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding tussen het eten was niet altijd even goed. De prijs is best hoog voor de hoeveelheid. Er is tevens veel keuze.

Good place at the corner, plenty of spaces to chill out in the sun, cheery and bright. Service is a bit slow but staff is friendly and food is awesome! Burrata sandwich is perfection!

If you want to have nice coffee, this is the place

Gunstig gelegen op het Marktplein in Hoofddorp, naast de parkeerplaats en aan de rand van het winkelcentrum. Men heeft zoveel mogelijk zitplaatsen in het restaurant willen maken en dat is gelukt. Je zit nog net niet op elkaars lip. Als je eigen gesprek voor even stilvalt, dan moet je automatisch naar de personen naast je luisteren, ook al praten zij nog zo zacht. Tafeltjes waren niet echt schoon. Kruimeltjes waren niet netjes. Bediening is vlot en vriendelijk. De lunch is goed. Kwaliteit goed. We hadden drie verschillende producten en allen waren goed. Geen uitschieters, maar gewoon lekker. De prijzen zijn echter behoorlijk in verhouding tot de kwaliteit en kwantiteit. Een hoop groen (sla, tomaat enz) op de broodjes en de borden zorgt ervoor dat het hele volle broden betreft. Schijn bedriegt. Frenkie is een ontbijt, lunch en borrel restaurant. Geen diner. De toiletten waren redelijk schoon.
