This afternoon we enjoyed a four-course lunch at Calla's. It was a fantastic experience. From the amuse-bouches, five in total, we enjoyed refined flavors and beautiful combinations. They also paid attention to the regional produce, and the fish was given a beautiful platform to shine. Besides the food, the wine was also very good and paired well with the meal. Recommended? Absolutely, for those who enjoy Michelin-starred restaurants. (I didn't take any pictures because you simply have to experience it yourself, but the food was also a work of art.)

Calla's has once again managed to win us over! This restaurant offers a beautiful combination of a refined menu that makes your taste buds celebrate and excellent service. The staff is not only friendly and attentive, but also demonstrates genuine expertise. Yesterday we enjoyed a delicious four-course lunch, preceded by surprising amuses-bouches that set the tone for what was to come. The lunch was beautifully concluded with a refined tea service, complete with delectable petit fours that perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. Calla's remains a restaurant that is well worth the visit - a place where you are guaranteed to have a memorable meal!

Last Friday my son and I had a wonderful meal at Calla's. I've been coming here for almost 20 years. But it's been a while. What they put on the table is better again. The service is also spot on. We'll be happy to come back! Well done

What a gem in The Hague. In Rotterdam we are richly endowed with high-end restaurants. Calla's is the only one in The Hague with a Michelin star. So the people of The Hague still have a job to do. What a recommendation. Reception very hospitable, food delicious, ambiance fantastic. Of course I pay attention to the flowers. They are fantastic there. Mobach vases very beautiful and colleague "Regina" changes the silk flowers with the seasons, just like I do. Very beautiful and what a lovely customer. Nothing to add. Every dish in our lunch was 10/10 Both meat and fish, fantastic. Creative flavor combinations, regional products, herbs from our own garden....... great. Wines top. But also reception and attention 10/10. A second star would be very well deserved. Bianca and Ronald, what a fantastic concept you have. A beautiful restaurant where we will often return and will certainly recommend to everyone. That second star is coming. For sure. Ps don't forget to enjoy the Mobach beauty.

Everything was great - food, service and atmosphere. Just visited 2stars- Michelin restaurant with uncomparably lower service and atmosphere. Calla's would be your choice if you want to have it perfect.

Enjoy a wonderful evening at the 'chef's table'. Beautiful view of the kitchen where the brigade prepares fantastic dishes that are presented at the table by the chef himself. Every dish, from the appetizers to the dessert, is not only a feast for the eyes but also extremely tasty. In addition to these dishes, delicious wines are served that complement the dishes beautifully. These are also accompanied by an explanation, in this case by the sommelier. As far as we are concerned, it is definitely recommended and we wish the 'brigade' good luck in achieving the ⭐⭐ status. As far as we are concerned, you deserve it!

What a fantastic culinary experience at Calla's! I chose the prestige menu and each dish was a work of art refined, flavorful and perfectly balanced. It was also nice to hear that locally produced ingredients are used. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service professional. I absolutely recommend Calla's and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Awesome! For me and my family it was the first time at a star restaurant and we certainly understand why Calla's has this star! Everything was perfect from the service to the food, everything was thought of and my parents had a wonderful evening with very tasty dishes and appropriate wines. The staff was super friendly and the chefs were clear in explaining the different dishes but also super friendly. We had booked a chef table for the birthdays and it certainly felt like we were included in the process. I will definitely come back and think they should definitely receive the 2nd star!

Good things first, professional staff and nice setting. However the food left much to be desired for. Mostly bland food, no play on texture, and forget about something new. Even the presentation was sometimes off; the cold cod shaped into what a flower?! We were here a few years ago too and I remember a good food experience. Unfortunately today it is a wonder why they still have a star.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED!! We had a great lunch at Calla's. The service was great and so was the menu. Price performance is definitely the same here! The wine recommendation was also good and the dessert wine deserves special mention. I have already been to the 2 star restaurant and this restaurant can not only compete in terms of food, but also in terms of service, which was better.

It is a very lovely michelin restaurant. The food is amazing, the service is superb and the atmosphere is absolutely delightful! The restaurant used to be a house, so when you walk in, you feel at home, just with a very big kitchen for a house of that size. Good choice of wines and cognac. They have an amazing selection of tea's, not just a list but a case with different selections of teas, which you can smell and choose. Definitely deserves a Michelin star.

Fois gras should never be on the menu again. Remove it for “just a moment”? Then you didn't understand!

Back at Calla's to taste their fall menu. We chose the Prestige menu and we all agreed that it was fantastic again! Of course there was a nice glass of champagne, the rosé, there were delicious amuses and triandises and this time we also had cheese in between. A nice selection of Dutch cheeses, very tasty!

Bij aankomst al een gastvrij onthaal. We begonnen met 4 fantastische amuses. Daarna volgden de gangen in rustig tempo, begeleid met de passende wijnen. Zowel het eten als de wijnen werden deskundig toegelicht. Eten is van hoog niveau, superieure kwaliteit, de creativiteit spatte van je bord af. Feilloos, vlekkeloos Geen een tekortkominkje te bespeuren . Kortom volop genoten van de lunch. Zeer aan te bevelen en het omreizen zeker de moeite waard. We komen graag terug!

Was taken here for my birthday. Had a fantastic set menu with wine arrangement. The restaurant is relaxed and chic, modern design with excellent staff. The food was exquisite! I'm not usually a dessert loving person, but the blueberry dish was absolutely amazing. And the first amuse potato bite, wow, packed with so much flavour. The wine pairings were great, really added to the flavour of the food. I can really, highly recommend this restaurant, top class 👌

We dine here couple of months ago for our 6th wedding anniversary. The food were amazing and delicious, we booked the chef table and were able to watch them work their magic through food. Service was exceptional, great wine pairing, we enjoy everything that restaurant calla's has to offer.

Celebrated my 50th birthday here with the lunch menu and had a truly excellent meal. Very hospitable reception. Tasty wines. It is not without reason that it is the only restaurant in The Hague with a star. Thanks for a great experience!

We enjoyed a delightful family dinner that surpassed our already high expectations. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience were exceptional. We all chose the prestige menu, which had seven delicious, meticulously prepared and served dishes. This was one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Geweldige ervaring! Stijlvol restaurant met een geweldige keuken. Keuze uit 4 of 7 gangen, evt aan te vullen met kaas. Een duidelijke eigen signature waarbij met producten uit eigen tuin wordt gewerkt. Hele goede vriendelijke bediening. Wijn-arrangement, zowel met als zonder alcohol, is ook bijzonder smaakvol. Bij binnenkomst neem je de trap naar boven, daar is een prettige ruimte met tafels voldoende ver uit elkaar zodat je privacy hebt. De avond vliegt hier voorbij.

Beautiful restaurant in a special place. The lunch was very tasty and so nice that a lot of it comes from our own garden and the taste is really delicious.

Suprema y soberbia es como mi esposa y yo calificaríamos esta experiencia. Cenamos solos en la mesa de los chefs y tuvimos una noche verdaderamente memorable. Tuvimos cursos fantásticos y nos encantaron las explicaciones de cada plato y cómo se preparó. Y el vino y los maridajes de burbujas fueron excepcionalmente elegidos.

After our last visit to Calla's we had planned not to stay away too long. So yesterday we sat down to taste their spring/summer menu. We chose the seven-course prestige menu with a small adjustment for me because I don't like melon. As befits this time of year, everything was a lot lighter and fresher than last time. But it was fantastic 😍 And not only the food but also the service is of exceptional class. Yes, of course you expect good service at a star restaurant, but there are also gradations and at Calla's you will be taken very good care of 🥰 Of course we had a nice glass of champagne, rosé from @champagnejlassalle, because there is always something to celebrate 😉 There were delicious amuses, seven delicious courses and perhaps an extra dessert 😎 And to finish off, there was coffee and friandises. Everything fits together very nicely. Nothing that stands out. But if I had to pick a favorite dish of the evening it would be the asparagus with lobster, Jamon Iberico Bellota, grapefruit and smoked butter sauce. Oh, and that dessert of rhubarb with rose, meringue and white chocolate of course, divine 🙈😍 Thank you again Calla's for a very nice evening!

Vriendelijke bediening. De gerechten volgen elkaar goed op (geen wachttijden). Mooi en kunstig geserveerd. Lekker maar geen woh-effect. de smaakpapillen worden te weinig gestreeld. Nadeel is ook de zeer steile trap die je moet opklimmen. Er zijn betere sterrenrestaurants.

Wat een geweldige restaurant! Vriendelijke ontvangst, mooi ingericht met prettige afstand tussen de tafels. Bij t aperitief heerlijke en prachtige amuses. We kozen 4 gangen lunchmenu met bijpassende wijnen. Elk gerecht was bijzonder, zowel qua presentatie als qua smaak. De wijnen erbij waren prima. Er heerst een relaxte sfeer, er kon ook een gezellig praatje gemaakt worden: wij houden daarvan. Prijs/kwaliteit kloppend. Aanrader dus!

Our evening here was one of best dining occasions we've experienced. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and tables well spaced. Service was professional but not at all stuffy. We chose the prestige menu and can honestly say there wasn't a single course we didn't enjoy. The accompanying bread was wonderful and so light, you didn't overfill yourself - something it's so easy to do! The quantities were spot on, meaning we were satisfied but not too full at the end of the evening. What a talented chef! The restaurant was very quiet on the Wednesday night we visited which was a little surprising, given its quality. This does mean it's quite easy to book a table mid-week at short notice. We were staying in Delft and chose this restaurant as we couldn't find anything comparable in that city for a "treat" meal. It was easy to get to: a ten minute walk to Delft train station from our accommodation, a short journey with a very frequent train service and then a twenty minute walk the other end (or you could use the tram.) If you are in the area and looking for a special meal, we would thoroughly recommend Restaurant Calla's. Absolutely brilliant!

I actually want to give 3.5 stars. It was really good food, but all in all we were not blown away. The service was of an insufficient level, in fact there was only one top person who had to keep things running. I know better restaurants in this category in DH.

A superb birthday evening. An honor to the kitchen. Delicious, delicate, tasty dishes. We are French and love gastronomy. We found everything we love: - Impeccable and warm service. - an open kitchen, a pleasure to see the brigade working - a chef who even comes to serve his dishes - exquisite recipes for the greatest pleasure of our eyes and taste buds - the chef was able to make me like what I don't usually like: raw fish. - discovery of unknown flavors A big thank you to the whole team.

Everything perfect. To be honest, the food was great (we had the Prestige menu, 7 courses, 140 euros - absolutely fair price!!), the wine arrangement was absolutely on point and at 84 euros (6 - really suitable - wines and 1 x brilliant beer with the oysters) really inexpensive. The service impressed with competence and unfeigned friendliness and attentiveness and the dishes were great. Oysters with beer as a pairing? Yes, that hit the nail on the head, super tasty! Saddle of hare, cooked to perfection and still tasting like game, with various variations of beetroot. Vegetables like Jerusalem artichokes with tonka beans, really great. We both come from that upscale gastronomy and that was once again proof that a 1-star restaurant can be absolutely great. It was a successful evening all around. Many thanks to the Callas team. We had a really great and memorable evening at Calla's a few weeks ago. From entering the restaurant to saying goodbye, it was a completely successful experience. Even when eating, every course was a new taste surprise, which was both visually impressive and always an astonishing but perfectly coordinated combination of ingredients for us. The service was always attentive, unobtrusive and charming. We can recommend it without reservation.

Welcoming reception, warm atmosphere, very friendly/helpful employees. In addition, very tasty dishes that were occasionally served on your plate as true works of art, accompanied by delicious wines that were extensively introduced. It is not cheap, but the quality is so good that it is really worth the money. We have been here before and will definitely come back and I can recommend it to everyone.

I had a delightful dinner with my friend for her birthday, and the fine dining experience was superb. I have a food intolerance and the food was incredibly tailored to me, despite me missing the first reservation. The beer they had was excellent, and the time went by very quickly. Highly recommend, at-least once, if living in the Hague.

My wife and I visited Netherlands in April 2023. Calla’s was the best Michelin starred restaurant that we experienced in this trip. Both their food (including the desserts) and service were excellent. We will return if we visit Den Haag again.

lunch of nine yummy surprises, each of which tailored to the plethora of dietary restrictions/preferences we had. the juicy porcini and diversity of both sweet & pastry treats translated the chef's versatility well. overall a pretty neat choice for special occasions. :)

We did not make any reservations but were lucky to have a table. The service was on point. We had the lunch menu and non alcohol sparkling and it was really good. The price is highly reasonable for the quality. Would highly recommend!

Wat een feestje om hier te eten. Mijn man en ik werden zeer vriendelijk onthaald een dikke dubbele 10 voor het personeel. Van de gastvrouw tot de jongens van de hotelschool wat een passie en professionaliteit proef je hier. Onze dank voor deze mooie beleving. Dan het eten, heerlijk heerlijk heerlijk. Mijn man had het Allure menu plus nog een kaasplankje,voor het dessert, trouwens heerlijke superkazen uit Nederland en het dessert zeer jammie. Ik had alles vegetarisch gevraagd. En nog nooit zo top vegetarisch gegeten met heerlijke pure smaken en fantasie met mooie producten waar ik overal uitleg over kreeg. Het Allure menu van mijn man was ook een applaus waard. Gesmuld. We highly recommend getting the Chef's table if you have any interest in the food. The special attention, explanation and care was second to none.
