Traiteur le Gone in Wijk 28 Centrum

Knusse zaak met vitrine voor de verkoop en enkele tafeltjes. Hier serveert men de authentieke keuken van Lyon. Geen liflafjes maar lekker bourgondisch. We werden vrolijk ontvangen door de Franse gastheer. Uit de verleidelijke kaart kozen we voor onze lunch verse oesters, een charcuterie portie en een salade met huisgemaakte eendenlever. Alles top! Goede Sancerre erbij. Als dessert nog een tartelette citroen meringue, zalig. Er is ook een plat du jour. Uitstekende attente bediening door de chef en z’n collega. Alle tafeltjes waren bezet, reserveren is aanbevolen.

This is my favourite place in The Netherlands for a long, lazy lunch of fantastic, tasty food and (always too much) great wine… the atmosphere is wonderful, the staff amazing, the service fantastic… and the food is just top notch. In The Hague a visit to Le Gone is a must, and make sure to keep your agenda free as you will surely end up staying longer than planned. I adore this place

Perfect for an authentic French lunch. Food was great, service was great, everything was great. Would recommend. We had the escargots, and the special of the day that came with a seasonal salad beforehand. The house wine was paired greatly and after that a small desert. Will return!

I've been lucky enough to have lunch here a few times without a reservation. The atmosphere is relaxed and very French, so wonderful that you simply lose track of time. Next time I will definitely make a reservation to be completely pampered by the “patron” again.

This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is amazing, you will have a proper French lunch. They offer daily menu on top of the salads they have in the carte. It is impossible to drop by this shop and not get some nice rillete, baguette or tarte au citron.

Great French food and amicable service that will lift your mood! We had a little French holiday moment out of the blue complete with wine and perfect baguettes.

Nice little French restaurant with polite attent service , I had a Foie Gras salad and nice dry white wine , for France lovers a must visit . I recommend 👌 very much.

Magnificent, for the first time in my life I am returning from the Netherlands before satisfying my appetite!!!! I had lunch there two days in a row, the sweetbreads and the kidneys were delicious... I highly recommend.

Used to come here a lot. On a Saturday morning picked up a baguette that had a small area of not fully cooked dough, raspberry pastry was very cold on the inside, meant to me it was frozen. Foie gras was more than twice as expensive as where I get it next to statenkwartier and liked the texture and taste less. Overall very dissappointing for exorbitant prices.

What a great place! French staff, also in the kitchen and what can they cook here! Everything that makes French cuisine so famous is here: delicious charcuterie, fantastic wines, delicate sauces and complex preparation. Super nice and enthusiastic owner by the way. We had the Lyonnaise salad and the pike soufflé. The salad dressing is absolutely delicious. The soufflé is preceded by a small delicious salad. The soufflé, that really makes me happy. Mr. owner, you made me very happy, thank you!!

This is one of the best French Lyonnaise bistros we’ve been too and better than some we’ve tried Lyon ! The Lyonnaise Chef and owner Rodolf welcomes everyone with a big smile it feels like we are having a meal in his home. The food is true to its Lyonnaise style and taste. The beef tongue was sensational !!

Wederom genoten van twee heerlijke plats du jour van Le Gone: Aile de rail avec sauce vin blanc au capres (rogvleugel in witte wijnsaus met kappertjes) en et lapin à la sauce moutarde (konijn in mosterdsaus). Ter plekke genieten of om mee te nemen. Van harte aan te bevelen!

Quality French cuisine, lovely place and hospitable ambiance. A special place and French corner in the heart of The Hague. Street-side and inside informal French lunch with typical Lyonnais and French dishes. Owner and service very hospitable. Honest and authentic food, great ambiance, good wines, all in all a wonderful experience. And lots of traiteur goodies too much m the French shop (wine, cheese, etc)

Hier gelunched. Mooie producten en lekker. Aardige bediening, attent en goede uitleg bij de producten. Kaas plateau als lunch is echt heel erg ruim. Salade met worst was heel verrassend qua smaak.

My wife and I had lunch here, and it was de-li-cious! I called upfront earlier in the week to make a reservation and to ask/discuss the Gluten allergy for my wife. They responded very positive to it and made sure to prepare everything. The food was outstanding, and François realy lights up the atmosphere with his positivity and kindness. If you want the best French cuisine in The Netherlands: go to Le Gone. Merci François!

Mon dieu! This place is wonderful. The boss obviously loves his work. We’ve been there twice on our vacation and going back again. Don’t overthink it, just go eat! Wait, did I mention the cheese plate, or the rabbit? Had to go back a third time to sample the Calvados (smooth) and snap this pic of the boss and daughter. Our visit to The Hague was full of wonderful surprises thanks to this place!

We were in a hurry so couldnt sit down to dine in. So i got myself a baguette with foie gras. It was really tasty. Have to come back here to try out the other dishes/baguettes!

Wat een heerlijk Frans pareltje voor de lunch. Hier voor het eerst gegeten en je neemt plaats in een klein gedeelte met tafels. Daarnaast bij de ingang is de balie waar je ook maaltijden en producten kan kopen voor thuis. De heren zijn vriendelijk, attent en oog voor de tafels. Het brood en water was geen moment op. Dat zie ik helaas niet vaak meer! We kozen voor de Plat du Jour...hierbij hadden we de keuze uit parelhoen of Belgisch varken. Beide gerechten kwamen vooraf met een salade en een stukje paté. Deze was smakelijk. De hoofdgerechten waren heerlijk, smaakvol en de rode wijn maakte het af. Zeker een plek waar ik nog een keer zal terugkomen voor de lunch! Aanrader dus, maar reserveer wel want er zijn maar een beperkt aantal tafeltjes.

Promis la prochaine fois je réserve un table et je vous amène une brioche aux pralines fait maison 😉 Le saucission est super bon. L'accueil est incroyable, ça fait un bien fou surtout quand on vit aux Pays Bas 😀

I would best describe le Gone as "The editable embodiment of a beautiful French woman you fall helplessly in love with." My experience with French cuisine have been through mentors and in Toulouse. Stepping in here is a warm friendly welcome that was great comfort away the Holland weather and the food take you to another country. It is best to call ahead. I unfortunately did not but I took a sandwich, terrine, and a few other goodies. With that, each bite had me come to a realization, that I didnt just take good food with me, I took a piece of a classic French heart that I could only enjoy for these loving moments. On my journey home, I will have some longing for Traiteur le Gone. It's a beautiful unexpected gem I found in the Netherlands.

Absoluut het beste (Franse) restaurant van Den Haag je waant je hier in La France 🇫🇷 zonder te hoeven reizen en de drukte op het vliegveld. Hij maakt alles zelf. Als zelfs je tante van 92 die 20 jaar in Frankrijk heeft gewoond het hiermee eens is, dan weet je dat je goed zit, vijfsterren meer dan waard tot de volgende keer. 🌟

Le Gone is een van de beste restaurants in Den Haag. Heerlijke schotels, ook om mee naar huis te nemen, zalige wijn, ook voor thuis te kopen. Een tractatie om hier te eten. Wel reserveren.

Hier is het heeeeeel fijn lunchen! Heerlijke salades en dagschotel. Smaakvolle wijn. Lekker frans sfeertje.
