I had an amazing coffee and carrot cake experience at this cozy spot tucked in the heart of busy Amsterdam. The Greek girl who served us was incredibly kind and accommodating, making the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend!

The chai was good but the chocolate muffin was undercooked. I also got a brownie and was overall disappointed by the quality, especially with the high rating.

We had freshly made caramel waffles and mini pancakes they were gorgeous and the staff were very friendly

We ordered the Nutella poffertjes, they were prepared on site, piping hot and very good, I recommend them.

We had a carrot cake, an apple tart, and two vanilla cappuccinos. It was delicious, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was lovely 🥰

Be careful, they'll rip you off with the sauce: €5 for a little chocolate and another €5 for pistachio sauce. They don't even list prices. Add it all up and you're left with €33.

We enjoyed the hot drinks and desserts here several times during our vacation. The place is minimalist but well-kept; the food and drinks are good, and it's the perfect spot for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

One of my favorite cafes in Amsterdam. The prices are reasonable, there's always a table available, and it's open until 22:00. The coffee is good, and the staff is very friendly.

Modern, stylish shop. The carrot cake is great. So are the cupcakes. But the two girls serving there are doing a terrible job. The petite, dark-haired one seems to be constantly on Tinder, judging by the way she's flailing her plastic nails at the screen. The blonde one also seems to be in another world. She watched, fascinated, as fruit flies buzzed around in the blender. She seems completely unfocused. We ordered two cappuccinos, got one. We ordered a cupcake, paid, and then were told: "We're out." Huh? The offer: "You can choose others" (there were only three left to choose from, none of which suited our taste). My companion looked at me; he didn't like any of the options. The server said: "If you don't want any of them, you'll get your money back," which was fine. We ended up choosing something else. I found the explanation totally bizarre. When we came in, the shop was sparsely populated, and there were still six cupcakes of our chosen flavor. No one before or after us had ordered. When I asked how they could be sold out if there were still several on display, they said those were for presentation purposes and the ones they were selling were... different...? Huh? Oh well. So it would be €15 for two small cappuccinos and one carrot cake. A slice of carrot cake costs almost €7.40? The cake and coffee were delicious, but the young staff unfortunately weren't very good.

They have a great flat white, the atmosphere is really chill and nice , recommend!

No loud noise or banging machines, just calm background music. It's really relaxing. I could almost study there, haha. The coffee is nice and strong, and the foam is perfect. The chairs are a bit rickety, but comfortable. The staff is relaxed and they don't rush the atmosphere.

The coffee was very good, and the pastries too. A cappuccino and a slice of cake cost around €11 per person. The atmosphere is quiet. It's a typical café, small and cozy.

The waffle was good, and the coffee too. The smoothie I ordered was the one they serve in Spain, so that was fine. The prices are reasonable for the city. But perhaps as a suggestion, a more varied menu wouldn't hurt. I ordered the waffle because I didn't know they had sandwiches, and I just saw in a review that they do.

All the pastries looked like they'd just come out of the oven—no trace of reheated ingredients. The aroma alone was enough to make your mouth water. The croissant was light and buttery, perfectly baked, and the coffee was nice and strong. Everything arrived quickly and with a smile. The atmosphere in the shop was warm and quiet, with wooden tables and soft music. The staff was quick and friendly, and everything looked well-presented. It was the kind of place where you could easily linger a little too long over a second cup of coffee.

The place was really nice and had a great atmosphere, but unfortunately the service was very poor. The staff seemed quite young — which isn’t a problem in itself — but they didn’t appear to take their work seriously, making customers feel uncomfortable and unattended. We ordered six black coffees, and all of them were very watery, which completely affected the taste. The toilet was also dirty and didn’t feel sanitary. It’s a shame, because the café is very aesthetic and well located.

This matcha was the worst I had in Amsterdam so far. The color was the same as kots… I have no words for it. The taste though… even worse. 0/10 would not recommend.

We just had 2 hot chocolates, 1 cheesecake, and a cookie. Really good, friendly and fast staff. We totally recommend it!

Just a great coffee place in the centre of Amsterdam. Coffee tastes good, the place is calm, very dirty toilet… but even though it might be not realistic to keep the toilets clean, they provide the toilet with a disinfectant. Good amount of milk alternatives for those who don’t drink lactose.

Very nice and quiet place to settle down for a bit and rest. The blueberry muffin (recommended by the barista) was very good, not too sweet and light. The coffee was nice too and the vibes were immaculate. Good stop along the way for a coffee break away from the craziness of the city.

Tried the apple cake and americano. Coffee was pretty good but the cake was better. Ample seating and suitable for doing some light work on a laptop as some of the other patrons were.

I did not like this place - the atmosphere was dry/soulless/you name it. Most of the cakes were gone at the time - just displayed at the counter. There was only one person working and despite her best efforts most tables were not cleaned and the wait was long.

It has sweets and coffee. It has indoor seating. It's clean and tidy. I only gave one star because when I entered to ask for something, the employee at the cashier ignored me. I called her and she ignored me and went to clean the tables!! Of course, I left and didn't take anything. Whoever doesn't respect customers doesn't deserve a visit 👎🏻

Coffee and Cake is a true little sanctuary in the middle of all the late-night chaos. Tucked away in the busy nightlife, it’s the perfect spot when you just need a moment to breathe. They close at 10pm, but the lady working was so kind and welcoming — she let us stay until 9:55 without any pressure. I left out of courtesy, but honestly, the service was amazing. The decor is beautiful, calm, and inviting — it really stands out from the hectic energy outside. I had a matcha that was rich in flavour and exactly what I needed. Such a lovely place — almost feels unfair it has to deal with all that nightlife right outside 😂. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

The coffee was great. Unfortunately the apple pie was watery and the apples were a bit chewy. I tried the lemon cake and it was pretty good, only missing a touch more lemon taste to it.

The chai latte was not at all nice and was utterly sweet. The barista also seemed to be generally pissed off and very unfriendly. Additionally, I found a piece of hair in my chai and not surprised since the chai powder container was kept on the platform between the barista and the customer. The restroom was out of paper towel.

It was a great experience to taste the delicious latte with oat milk.

It’s so hard to find good coffee in Amsterdam. This place is hidden gem. Not only the coffee is great, but people are so kind and willing to help!

I used to come here all the time after university the desserts were so delicious 🤤

The coffee was actually okay, but unfortunately the experience was ruined by the staff’s attitude. The woman working there looked visibly unhappy and responded to my coffee question with a dismissive, cold and aggressive tone. Even though the café was empty, her strange behavior made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. It’s disappointing when a product is overshadowed by very poor customer service.

I really like this place, but the posted opening times are incorrect. It says you open at 8 AM, but on several occasions, I’ve waited outside until 8:15 and the doors were still closed. Please consider updating the listed hours or ensuring the doors open on time. Thank you!
