Terrible place, I will never come back here. Went here for dinner with 3 friends. Burgers are pink and don't taste like anything. When we started to say something about it, lies were told and we were only angry. Never come here.

Best steak we’ve ever had! 100% the friendliest service and very authentic. We came here mid way through our visit to Amsterdam and it was so good we came twice! - wishing we had found this place at the start of our visit. If you’re thinking about going, do it, you will only miss out if you don’t. Polite staff and wonderful atmosphere.

Really nice place. We tried the “côte de boeuf” and it was delicious!! The staff was very kind and especially the Greek waitress who served us. She seemed very professional at her job

We had New Year’s Eve dinner here with our family of five (3 children/teens) and it was absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, the service was unbeatable, and the food was outstanding. Cooking our steaks at the table was so fun. Highly recommend this place!

Quick service good prices , very nice and helpful staff . Top quality meat and sides, all the food was very taste . All cooks in front of you, on hot rocks , smells awesome. Will go back , with my partner for sure.

This place is deceiving on the outside. The inside is so warm and inviting and the food is impeccable! Cooking it yourself was such a fun experience. Not pictured we also got the bread and caprese salad which was delicious and a bottle of Merlot!

We were registered as a larger group. On site we were told that we were only allowed to order menus. From 55 EUR upwards... This wasn't discussed before... After much discussion, we were allowed to order steak or fish from the menu. Unfortunately we were denied anything else. No burger, no trifles. Very sad that you treat guests like this and don't inform them beforehand... With 24 people you can't spontaneously find an alternative in the city. Ambiance otherwise ok. Service was very sloppy when we asked about various things.

There are better places. The staff was very friendly. The ambience wasn't particularly special. We had burgers and expected more from a restaurant that mainly serves meat. The patties seemed more like ready-made meat and were not homemade. Other stores can do more.

Absolutely top! Burgers very good, but we would always recommend the steak! Had the Portahouse and it was an 11/10! We come back 🤝🏼😁📈 The service was also absolutely great! The steak was cut perfectly and the lady was very attentive and helpful.

Really nice place Good wine with good meat. Unfortunately I found the 400g portion of meat too light once on the plate.

Business dinner; great food. There were four of us and we asked the waiter for help choosing. Got nice option; 3 stones with 3 different types of meat. Due to its size, meat had already been prepared in the kitchen, baked on the stones on the table. Worked great. Good meat quality, side dishes too. My clothes could go to the dry cleaners; smelled great but BBQ :). Recommended!

The steak and the tiramisu was brilliant but the wait staff were quite off with me. I was dining on my own and they were ignoring me and being very abrupt when it came to giving me my food. I had to go and find somebody to order the tiramisu because every server was avoiding eye contact with me. Then when i paid in exact cash they seemed offended. I always to tip 20% no matter where I am but the overall attitude made me feel very isolated.

Day’s StoneGrill 1870 is one of the best steakhouses in Amsterdam, offering a fantastic variety of steak options, burgers, and a great selection of wines and alcohol. The customer service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was inviting, especially at night when the city comes alive. All my clothes were with oil stains after the meal. I paid a very expensive price in my opinion and the least they could do is to give each diner apron so their nice clothes won’t be stained. Steak was mid although I know how to grill them.

I don’t quite understand the Google Reviews of this place. The reviews would have you believe this is a Michelin star steak house. Having now been myself, the reality, it’s just a very average tourist spot. Key downsides were that my T bone steak was chewy, and it was missing the fillet side?! The salad was a bit sad and all the sauces just tasted quite vinegary. Tbh the hot stove thing is just all a bit naff. However, the staff were really friendly and enthusiastic and the service was very good. I would not return.

Good food, just a pity that you are required to get the group card, which means there is less choice.

Great store with very friendly and professional staff. Due to the size of the restaurant and the crowds, it is advisable to reserve in advance. At the beginning you will receive a short explanation from the staff about the process. You then have the opportunity to choose from a variety of premium meats on the menu. After ordering, a hot stone is brought to your table. The waitress places the raw meat on it. Afterwards you are responsible and can fry the steak according to your own wishes, depending on the degree of doneness. You can get all the information you need from the very friendly staff, who are always available to answer questions; a quick show of hands is enough.
