Bad experience, be careful on the bill they try to charge you more than you ordered. It’s really expensive for what it is, you cook yourself they don’t do anything so I don’t get why that. The meat is not even good honestly it’s not worth it + the waiters are unpleasant. Pass your way really

you are not going just to eat there, you will have to buckle up and emerge yourself in this culinary experience. Your stake will ne served on a hot stone plate for you to cook to your liking. on top you can enjoy good selection of wine , all served by experienced lady :) thank you for great service and hospitality

Argentinian sirloin and rib eye on hot stones. The meat is pretty sticky, and not juicy.

We took a simple fillet, so I can't judge the rest (there were very fine and expensive meats) What we got wasn't bad, a very simple thing, for what it cost maybe it wasn't worth it, but it was still good Absurdly good fries

Very tasty and hot, thanks to the hot stone. The vegetables were a little burnt in places; It was replaced immediately when a complaint was made. The ambience is cool factory style. Everything very clean.

Wir haben dort sehr gut Steak gegessen. Es gibt mehrere Cuts zur Auswahl. Unsere Steaks wurden auf einem heißen Stein serviert und mussten von uns selbst auf die gewünschte Stufe gegart werden. Die Beilagen waren auch sehr gut. Als Nachspeise gab es eine Waffel mit Eis und Nutella. Das Service war auch sehr nett und aufmerksam. Ein gelungener Abend!

Grilling your own steak on a hot stone is fun, but does not produce the best results. I would only recommend this place if you feel like going as an activity, rather than to have dinner.

This place is amazing! From the atmosphere to the food, I could not fault anything. Magda greeted us and was a fabulous hostess but all the staff were very friendly and attentive. I had the steak which I cooked on the stone following Magda’s instructions. BEST STEAK I’VE EVER EATEN! We managed to squeeze in desserts too which were delicious. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. It’s not just the food, it’s the whole experience.

The meat here is really good value for money, portions are huge and it’s cooked to what doneness you enjoy. Service is also really nice, staff were very helpful at the table. Had a good time eating here.

8 people went in suspicious and not sure if the price is worth the event. But 8 men went out, strengthened by the high quality meat and smiling all night long.

I had the Wagyu Burger XL. Super tender meat. The best burger I've ever had. Fries were medium but the truffle mayo complemented them perfectly. I would give the burger a 4.8 stars. A little bit of toppings, but top meat.

We visited this great restaurant for the third time last weekend and we will definitely book a table here again on our next short trip to Amsterdam. From the friendly welcome to the attentive service to the excellent food, we enjoyed every minute there! We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The carpaccio is the worst I have ever ordered and seemed to have been in the freezer because of the texture of the meat, same with the “grilled” vegetables that obviously were not fresh nor grilled. We were not given a bar menu/wine cart upon arrival and the wine was mid. The servers were fighting among themselves and one of them were very rude. The steak was great, the rest I would stay away from.

I visited twice during my trip. It was nice to be able to cook it yourself on a hot stone like Fukuoka hamburger. The glass of wine was also delicious. It was nice that they treated me kindly and explained things well.

This restaurant was fantastic. We arrived early and seated. The staff was attentive and very welcoming. This concept of restaurant is pretty unique to us. The steak comes and you cook it on a lava rock for 2-3 minutes after they slice it whole. The sides were good and the soup had flavor in every spoonful. Definitely will return on our next Amsterdam visit. If you live there, great place for romantic and fun evening.

Ahhhmazing!! From the beginning to the end. Our 14vyear old son really enjoyed the experience of cooking his very own steak for the first time. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. It was our first time at a stone restaurant. They explained it to us and we felt very comfortable cooking our own steaks after. 100% recommend!

Excellent food and service. Very knowledgeable staff regarding gluten free options, cooking requirements and coeliac disease. My son enjoyed a fabulous tenderloin and potato wedges, followed by vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce….all gluten free. Would definitely return as he thoroughly enjoyed his meal.

Overhyped Tourist Trap When we first walked into Day’s Stone Grill (16/2/2025), the male host was unfriendly and unwelcoming. After being crammed in between two other tables, another gem of the waitstaff came to present the menus. For a restaurant who claims they value customer service, this waitress was extremely snarky and mumbled her way through the menu. As someone who has been to Amsterdam numerous times, this was easily the rudest waitress I’ve ever had and the most unpleasant and unwelcoming atmosphere I’ve been in. All of the items on the menu aren’t cheap which would not be an issue for a high quality steakhouse, the problem was the quality did not match. In addition, none of the menu items included a side, so you were already paying €50+ on a steak in an addition to an €8 mediocre salad. After ordering well before the two tables crammed right next to us, the food came out relatively quickly. The problem was that that first batch of food delivered to our table was not ours. It happened to be the table next to us that ordered well after. After that, food was delivered once again to our table. It felt like they were pranking us but again, they delivered the wrong food to the wrong table. This order went to the other table right next to us meaning that we were the first to order by over 10 minutes, and the last to receive our food. Once our food finally came, they delivered one angus burger with no bacon and another angus burger with no egg. Problem was we never asked for them to take off the bacon, the only modification we made was no egg on either burger. Our waitress reluctantly took it back and returned minutes later with the exact same burger with no bacon and now no egg. To make matters worse, besides being crushed in between two tables, the table next to us had a birthday. At a normal restaurant, it would normally consist of the waitstaff singing or a complimentary cake being brought out. At Day’s StoneGrill, they do things a little differently. They paused the music and then played happy birthday extremely loud not once but five straight times. When I say loud, I mean concert volume loud. The guy was clearly not having it and the host should’ve stopped. After that, they payed their bill and tried to quietly leave but the host blasted happy birthday extremely loud once again as they began to run out of the restaurant. We also listened to the same pop jazz remixes numerous times. We heard the same elevator music version of “Dreams” three times in our hour and a half there. Apart from that, the burgers were lackluster and the steak was just okay. This place felt like an overpriced tourist trap with fake, inflated reviews of their appalling hospitality and mediocre atmosphere. I would strongly urge nobody to go there, especially not visitors to the city.

Delicious food with a good selection of meats cut. The way they “cook” the meat is so cool. They bring a hot stone to the table and you choose how you want your meat cooked. Side dishes were also delicious. Our server was lovely and helpful. All the staff were very nice. The tiramisu was so good and I can still taste it when I think about it. The service was fast and food came exactly as we ordered. Strongly recommended it!

Steak and lamb was not only fresh, good quality and delicious but also served in a served in an original way, on a hot plate. Each piece of meat is grilled in front of you. The staff gives you instructions in a factual and understandable way. Music is playing in the background, it is warm, pleasant and very tasty. I highly recommend this place and the food.👍💝

Went for a girl’s night dinner with my best friend. Service was amazing, the burger was incredible. Delicious meat, incredible bun. The starters were delicious. We ordered the carpaccio and bread, limoncello on the house. Couldn’t have imagined a better night. Honestly, hands down the best burger I’ve ever had in Amsterdam, cherry on top with a delicious cheesecake for dessert!

Excellent steakhouse with a wide choice of excellent meat! I chose the ribs and I can only say that they were cooked to the top! My partner had a very filling and juicy burger! :) You can see that they work with quality meat, the limoncello at the end was very welcome! Highly recommended for a nice relaxing dinner and excellent meat!
