Spectacular food, with top hot stone for cooking, excellent quality

We are two Italians who came to Amsterdam on holiday. At this wonderful restaurant, we found excellent service, a wonderful welcome, and fantastic staff. The meat was excellent. A must try.

We ate at this grill and we all ended up in the bathroom. Food poisoning. Run from this place. I hope the health department inspects this disgusting place.

Fab evening dinner, best steak we’ve had!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This place is amazing , so understated, yet truly one of the best. The Côte de Boeuf was cooked perfectly and incredible value for money. Most of the menu is halal. And the restaurant is very clean. The bread and wine were delicious, and the staff kindly treated us to limoncello and ice cream for my husband’s birthday, which was such a lovely touch. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, and we’ll definitely be back as soon as we’re in Amsterdam again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great steak meal. Thank you!

I came here twice during a week's vacation in Amsterdam. I was immediately greeted by Andrea and Andrea, two Italians, and I immediately felt at home. Other than that, the food was truly excellent. I tried the ribs, mixed grill, Argentine steak, and burgers, and they were truly delicious. The place is casual and very welcoming. And the prices are fair considering the quality of the products.

Excellent service – the steak was superb – served on a stone and grilled to perfection by the customer – a fantastic experience and meal – definitely come and try it – paired with a Malpeč from Mendoza/Argentina – we will certainly be back. Thank you for the delightful evening.

The food was delicious; I've rarely had such a good cowslaw, and the T-bone steak was fabulous. If I ever come back to Amsterdam, I'd love to come here again.

I will give a small 4. We had the brisket and a burger. I have read many of the reviews praising the quality of meat but I am sorry to say I tasted both courses and found them plain. The brisket lacked taste and the burger had a very dominant sauce/dressing which was the only thing I could taste, my wife was a bit more satisfied. The service and location were fine.

Absolutely delicious! The meat is of excellent quality. Serving it on hot stone slabs and preparing it yourself at the table is a real highlight. The service is very friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful. You immediately feel at ease.

We recently dined at Daystone Grill 1870 with a group of eight and requested water, but unfortunately, only three glasses were provided. To make matters worse, a server accidentally spilled a drink on my wife's legs and sandals, waiter failing to apologize or clean up the mess. This experience left us extremely disappointed with the service.

This place is nice for diner : the food is tasty, the waiters arw welcoming and outdoor atmosphere is fun. I recommend that restaurant.

Very rude service. Spill the drink to my friend without apology. Weird thing only allow 3 glasses of water per our table of eight despite each of us already ordered drink. But other table of 2 could have the same number glasses of water. We should split to 4 tables instead lol. One of Waiter is so inexperienced and shuffle the hot stone without making us aware of the 300 degree hot stone to grill the steak. Steak quality is good but all the stars were gone because of this.

Wanted to grab an early dinner and we're glad we found this place. Atomosphere was/is very comfortable and relaxing. Fine selection of food and drink. Background music was very Chill Jazz of commonly recognizable tunes. We had Salmon and Texas Roadhouse combination for Entrees and Ice Cream for Dessert. Nice to have a Heineken on Tap! Our hostess (Patrica) was wonderful and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend this establishment.

Easily the top 1 burger I've eaten, could not recommend enough! Some people may find the grilling inside a bit harsh for breathing but for me it was no problem, a/c really helped with that. I ordered the Wagyu XL burger and we split the fries with my SO.

I was initially served a sirloin steak instead of the filet I ordered, but the mistake was rectified quickly and charmingly, and we were even treated to a complimentary iced latte. The partially cooked steaks are served on a hot stone, allowing you to finish cooking them to your liking at the table. We would definitely go back.

Excellent service, really tasty food i took a brisket burger with fries, the berger was perfectly cooked and the fries crispy, with a nice cold bear perfect mutch 100% recommend.

I went here for an evening with my friends and we had a really good meal, the staff were super welcoming and the service excellent. I had half a roast chicken, which was really good quality and worth stopping by for dinner!

We had a tomahawk steak with sides, and it was truly excellent. The staff prepared it right in front of us, and we were even able to finish cooking it ourselves using the hot stone. The service was outstanding and consistently friendly. And in the end, even the price was more than fair.

We had the Wagyu burger and the ribeye steak. The food was excellent and never had a better mojito in my life. The waitress were very kind and polite and took her time to explain everything. Can totally recommend!

Unfortunately, the potato wedges were quite dry and not very good, and the sauces could definitely be improved. Overall, still a nice place — especially if you’re here mainly for the steaks.

I discovered this place almost by accident, and I'd say it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent quality food, especially the mushroom soup. The serving of some of the meats on a hot griddle was also interesting, accompanied by clear and helpful explanations from the waitresses. Very friendly and helpful staff, and overall a very positive experience.

We had a wonderful evening at Day's StoneGrill 1870. We received a warm welcome and fantastic service, even in German. We ordered various dishes such as lamb chops, tenderline steak, ribs, and ribeye with a variety of sides, and everything was absolutely delicious. The meat was of excellent quality. We highly recommend this restaurant. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. To top it all off, I was served a "Happy Birthday" and a fountain pen on my dessert. Thank you to the team, we'll be back! 🫶🏻
