We had a tomahawk steak with sides, and it was truly excellent. The staff prepared it right in front of us, and we were even able to finish cooking it ourselves using the hot stone. The service was outstanding and consistently friendly. And in the end, even the price was more than fair.

We had the Wagyu burger and the ribeye steak. The food was excellent and never had a better mojito in my life. The waitress were very kind and polite and took her time to explain everything. Can totally recommend!

Great steaks and very friendly service. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere fits the overall concept very well. Unfortunately, the potato wedges were quite dry and not very good, and the sauces could definitely be improved. Overall, still a nice place — especially if you’re here mainly for the steaks.

I discovered this place almost by accident, and I'd say it was a pleasant surprise. Excellent quality food, especially the mushroom soup. The serving of some of the meats on a hot griddle was also interesting, accompanied by clear and helpful explanations from the waitresses. Very friendly and helpful staff, and overall a very positive experience.

We had a wonderful evening at Day's StoneGrill 1870. We received a warm welcome and fantastic service, even in German. We ordered various dishes such as lamb chops, tenderline steak, ribs, and ribeye with a variety of sides, and everything was absolutely delicious. The meat was of excellent quality. We highly recommend this restaurant. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. To top it all off, I was served a "Happy Birthday" and a fountain pen on my dessert. Thank you to the team, we'll be back! 🫶🏻

We arrived at the restaurant, and the unpleasant situation began right away. The waitress took our order, asked if we wanted a large or small limoncello spritz, joked about it being Saturday, and ultimately brought us a large 7UP, which we hadn't ordered. The food arrived quickly, but without the sauce we'd ordered. The ribs were warm on the sides, but completely cold inside. When she came to check, we told her about the lack of sauce and the cold ribs. The sauce didn't arrive until we'd already finished everything. I'd like to give special mention to another waiter—the Russian-speaking guy who brought the beer. He was the first to notice our situation, apologized, and went to the manager to correct his colleague's mistake. He clearly tried his best, but unfortunately, the situation didn't progress any further. The sauce was never removed from the bill. Three employees went off several times to "resolve the issue," but in reality, they did nothing: no recount, no compensation, not even a simple apology in the form of dessert. They left hungry because the cold ribs were inedible. We paid 75 euros for this experience.

If I could leave zero stars, I would Firstly, the service was horrendous. I was sitting in my seat for a good 30 minutes before someone even brought me a menu. I ordered 300 g ribeye steak when it arrived. It didn’t look like a ribeye. First of all. Second of all it was not edible at all. It was tough chewy this was not ribeye cut. Then spoke to the manager explained the situation but he was very reluctant to give us our money back instead persuaded usinto replacing it for another steak which was just as bad and horrendous Steak had a funny taste like as if it was an old steak Not sure how this restaurant got 4 out of 5 stars would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, please please please avoid at All costs

The food was presented beautifully, and the service was welcoming. Afterwards, we each received a complimentary drink. In short, a successful evening!

We ordered mixed grill for two people. Side dishes such as fries, potatoes, vegetables, sauce, etc. are ordered separately. The concept is that you get the pieces of meat and fry them yourself on a griddle. The meat tasted good and the service was nice, but the table was very small, and the plate you put the meat on after it was fried was also very small. It was therefore very difficult to eat the food after the meat was fried, with little space on both the table and the plate. There was quite a bit of sauce considering that there were two of us sharing. The side dishes we ordered tasted okay, but this was no wow experience, unfortunately.

When making a reservation, it was not clear that almost every dish would require us to cook the meat. If I go to a somewhat expensive meat restaurant, I expect the chef to prepare the beef perfectly for me. The meat itself was soft, but not spectacular. I would not revisit this place.

The food is excellent and the meat is really tasty, and the atmosphere is pleasant. So why only one star? We were a group of eight people. As French people, we were given a "special group card"—or rather, a "pigeon card," as they say over there—with a supposedly advantageous menu for €55, with no real choice. After protesting, we finally got the classic menu... but the waiter then tried to impose supplements on us. It's a shame, because the meat is good, but if you don't want to get ripped off, you'd better move on! One last thing: the waiter selects the tips when you pay without asking your opinion.

Had a lovely meal. The steak came so you cooked it yourself on hot plates which was good fun and it was good quality steak. The burgers were nice as well. The overall service was amazing with our waiter Laveros serving us well. Only lost a point as was quite warm and stuffy! But overall was an excellent place to eat out!

I’m a bit of a steak snob and this Amsterdam steakhouse exceeded my expectations. They serve the steaks on a hot stone so you can finish cooking exactly to your taste — a fun touch that actually improves the meal. The beef was perfectly seasoned, tender and full of flavor; each cut tasted premium. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and highly recommended for anyone who loves a proper steak.

I find the concept very interesting. However, every time I’ve been here, I’ve only gotten the ribs myself, which comes already cooked of course, and they are excellent. So are the sides, and the sauces. The atmosphere is also very cozy.

Delicious steaks. The tenderloin was phenomenal, and cooking it on the hot rock adds a fun element to the experience. All the food was wonderful. Service was superb. Prices are incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend.

The restaurant offers very pleasant seating, friendly service, and delicious food. A super interesting concept that you have to try. Overall, I have to say that cooking on the stone only partially convinced me. It was a good experience, but the difference in taste compared to a grilled/fried steak didn't blow me away. Nevertheless, the selection and quality were top-notch, so I definitely recommend it!

Good food, delicious steaks, unfortunately a few points deducted for the ambience and the service, as we were asked to take the 3 course menu first although we had reserved for the menu and then the burgers were unfortunately not on the same level as the steaks

We had to make reservations a couple days in advance because they were booked the night we wanted to go so we made sure to secure a table for a Saturday night of eight people. We sat outside and they handed us the menus. They weren’t the same menus that we saw online. Apparently, they tried to get us to buy a group meal with the cost per person with choices of starters and entrées. We asked for the regular menus, which is what we ordered off of. What we weren’t aware of when choosing this restaurant is that you cook the entrée at your own table on a very hot stone. A few people had the tiger prawns, shrimp that they cooked for 30 seconds on each side and other couples had steaks which require required a few more minutes on each side to cook to your liking. The good part about this is it kept your steak hot for every single bite. Sides are extra and the steaks come with one sauce. Although I was looking forward to the old fashion they showed on the menu, when we got there, they said they didn’t have old-fashioned. I was going to order a bourbon, but then I noticed they had no bourbon either. We sat out front on the patio under an umbrella, which was a nice ambience to be at, but unfortunately, everybody had to use their phone, flashlight to look at the menu and even a couple furthest away from the building had to use it while they were dining cause they couldn’t see their food. it wasn’t just us other tables that arrived how to use their phone to read the menu as well. They can certainly use some lighting underneath the umbrella to alleviate this problem. It was a great concept and we really enjoyed our time there. I would highly recommend going there if you’re in town looking for a good steakhouse.

I don’t know what was better—the taste of the T-bone or the experience of cooking it yourself. It was absolutely delicious. The only thing we didn’t like were the ribs—they were very dry and definitely not cooked properly. But anyway, we’ll definitely go back there for the T-bone.

Stone grill experience. Cooking your own meat to the level of your own doneness. They were willing to allow us to choose ala carte instead of taking the course meal so we can have a choice of food to eat. Can change the wedges to more salad instead. For ala carte, sauces are charged individually.
