⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A 10! Delicious food and exceptional service. The gentleman who served us was fantastic, very kind and attentive. We ate really well and felt very welcome. It's an authentic place, not at all touristy, where you can tell that the people from the area go there. One of those places you discover and that is worth recommending wholeheartedly. Highly, highly recommended! A 10 for food, service and authenticity.

I went to eat at a restaurant near my hotel in Amsterdam. The owner is from Egypt. He talked a lot. He is a history teacher. He is really knowledgeable. If Mongolians come here, tell them you are Mongolian and eat the delicious food and have a chat. He is a very friendly person.

We came because of the great reviews on Google and it was a pleasant surprise. We were served by Mr. Boris! Our lunch was impeccable, quality meat, cooked to perfection, incredible price for the standard of food. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere! We loved it! And I definitely recommend it!!

Fantastic food I had a small mixed grill and grilled vegetables. Each meat was very tender and tasty as were the veg. Boris was a very attentive and kind server. I came at a very quiet time of day, 3:30. Would 100% recommend!

The service (by the owner?) was terrible. He rolled eyes on each request showing discomfort, it almost felt like we should please him. The food was mediocre at the best.

Just keep on walking...you can do much better. I would like to try the restaurant that is shown in the good reviews, but this is not it. Bad smell as soon as you go inside. Meat was off, fries were stale, wine was off. Dining area not clean. Nothing good to say, one star is to many for this place. Run away!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!! We order food , the stake was okey but , the guy who served as ( it may be the owner ) was so rude . I dropped a fork on the floor and my husband went inside to get a new one . The guy just wipe the fork that was on the floor and give it back . My husband said that he needs a new one and he just moan something in a different language and give back to him the one that just wiped . We didn’t want to ruin the night and we decide to use the one that we have left and not to make a scene . The waiter come back outside and start asking why are we not using the fork. We tried to explain the situation but he would just not understand and keep pushing us . At some point he even asked us where we are from as this matter ? Little bit racist . We paid 70 euro to be harrased by this man . Would not recommend de this place . Also he made everybody to come inside to pay , but for us he came outside with the machine to make sure that we paid .

Shocking service, terrible food, and an incredibly aggressive owner. Avoid! ​My wife and I had the misfortune of dining here and it was easily the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. ​Before walking in, we asked some people sitting outside if the food was good. They said it was "okay." Unbeknownst to us, the owner was standing right there. He walked over, seated us, and said in a deadpan, aggressive tone: "If you have to ask, you can go elsewhere." I waited for a laugh or a smile to show he was joking. It never came. We should have walked out right then. ​I ordered the steak mixed skewers, and my wife ordered the Ribeye. My meal arrived cold and wasn’t even what I had ordered. My wife’s Ribeye was an absolute joke—it was easily 80% pure fat and gristle, completely inedible. See the below photo. ​When we raised the issue, the owner (who made a point of letting us know he is Egyptian fpr some reason) decided to give my wife a patronizing "lesson" on steaks to prove her wrong. ​Given his unbelievable attitude, I flatly refused to pay for my wife's inedible meal. He immediately lost his temper, threatened to call the police, and told me to "inappropriately leave" The families at the two tables next to us were watching the entire meltdown in absolute disbelief and told the owner he's unreasonable and not professional. ​In the end, I put down cash to pay for half the bill and walked out. On the way out, he yelled that we were no longer welcome back—as if we’d ever dream of setting foot in this place again. ​Do yourself a massive favor and steer completely clear of this place.

What a wonderful experience at this restaurant on Kerkstraat. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and we really enjoyed our dinner. Don't believe the Google reviews; the owner gives a discount for a 5-star review. Paid €40 per steak, they recommend medium: at that point, you should basically walk away anyway. The mayonnaise was old and dark yellow. The steak was so tough that the plate spun around on the table while cutting it.

The place is located in one of the side streets. From the outside it looks like an ordinary restaurant in the area. There is no garden, but by far the best steak I have had in Amsterdam. On our Amsterdam trip, we stopped at Grillhouse Nader in the afternoon. My wife ordered a steak, and I ordered a burger. The waiter, an older gentleman, was attentive and friendly, and we mainly spoke English. This made it easy to communicate. We didn't have to wait very long. My wife's steak wasn't quite cooked through, but it was still okay. My burger, on the other hand, was very good. The portions were generous, and we certainly left satisfied. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself seemed rather dark and dated, but otherwise, everything was fine.

The elderly gentleman who served us was incredibly kind and friendly. The steak was delicious, and the fries were a little soggy but still perfectly cooked. Great value for money!

Fantastic little place, tucked away from the busy streets. We decided to go there on a whim, because we liked the quiet atmosphere, and it was a great choice. The steaks were cooked as requested, which was perfect, the sides were plenty, and the service was irreproachable. Definitely a place to come back to again!

Nader steakhouse is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. We ordered steak and side dishes including rice, fries, mushroom and salad. The steak was tender juicy and delicious. The owner is caring, friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit this restaurant again.

The gentleman who welcomed us was very kind and tried to explain the food to us. The food was delicious. We got chicken straws and I got a very tasty chicken soup.

Good food, godd service, Boris is nailing it!

The steak wasn’t wow, and it wasnt medium rare as i requested, rather more medium. The owner or the employee was very welcoming and explaining how he moved to Netherlands. The salad though was very tasty due to the nice dressing.

The food was very well prepared and tasted great. Mr. Boris is a sweetheart and served us very well. The price is excellent, great value for money. We loved it!

A South American steakhouse located in downtown Amsterdam. It is situated near the Van Gogh Museum, so it is easily accessible, and the food is decent. However, please note that they need some time to prepare the dishes, so be sure to allow ample time when you visit.
