Mr Meat Steakhouse in Haarlemmerbuurt

We had a great experience. This is a turkish steakhouse, so it combines a good selection of cuts and some nice touch from turkish cousin. We enjoyed exceptional service from the staff and special. Antonio was amazing:))

Food on itself oke, but taste is quite mellow. Neither the steak tartare nor the grilled meat did have a lot of taste. Bread with a very small cup of tapenade made from powder is a new experience and not close to what you expect in a restaurant. The real disappointment however was that quite some items on the food & beverage menu were not available. No special beers, hardly any mocktails and also no T-bone steak. When we left the restaurant we however passed a meat display full with dry aged t-bones and porterhouse steaks…. Very strange. This place is a tourist trap.

We chose it for dinner. The meat was cooked perfectly, we also loved the noodles 😍😍 Also, the cocktails are very nice, I definitely recommend them 🥰 Also, your tables for 2 people are too small, your plates that come with candles, salt and pepper are too big :) You need to change either the plates or the tables, the waiter was confused about how to fit the plates :)

Nous ne comprenons pas les éloges faites à ce restaurant: l’entrée de bœuf chaud avec cheddar : baigne dans l’huile et n’a aucun goût ni aucun intérêt. Frites congelées (alors que la cuisine a les bras croisés) viandes bonnes mais cassant pas 3 pattes à un canard non plus !! Burger sans salade et service mitigé. Sûrement meilleur ailleurs.

Delicious steak, chic atmosphere, but long waiting time. Mr. Meat impresses with its modern design and very good food. The staff is professional and friendly. However, the wait of over an hour for the food marred the experience considerably. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.

What a fabulous evening . Deniz and his staff were fab and food was soooo good. An all round perfect choice with great food and lovely ambience Deffo would go again,we were with a large group and service was perfect.

The Steak was excellent. Well seasoned and perfectly cooked, the grilled veggies were also very good. Service was very friendly. All in one a very nice restaurant. Would definitely come again. Only the wobbly and small table was a bit annoying. We went for dinner and it was very loud in the restaurant.

Pedimos un filete de shato 400 g 70 , vino bien cocido del medio de pedido , envió de vuelta a la cocina para que el mismo filete saliera cortado en trozos diminutos y aún más seco ! ! mi comida de socios llegó 10 minutos más tarde que la mía Servicio lento demasiado ocupado charlando entre sí para limpiar la mesa y gatos callejeros en el restruante. In the Netherlands this steak restaurant is worth its weight in gold... What a delicious steak! Crispy fries, no overly fancy plates, just top quality meat.

Everything was excellent, especially the kindness of the manager and Antonio who made it easier for us and welcomed us even though everything was booked and they arranged a table for us and had a divine dinner, very well cooked meat, soft and melting in your mouth!!! Excellent price for quality, very quick and always smiling, very generous dishes... before dinner while waiting we drank an aperitif made at the top, very good price... I recommend it

Mr. Meat. What a great tent. Words are inadequate for what we have experienced here. Reception at a phenomenal table. Fantastic service by Dennis, our host. And what an incredibly hot piece of meat. I would say, come with an empty stomach and be pampered.

To be honest, I never expected much of this place but ever since we discovered it, we come back regularly. The meat is absolutely amazing, especially Lokum and Heaven on Earth (hemel op aarde). You never tasted such tender meat! The dessert - katmer - is one of the best I ever had. Staff also always friendly.

You know what people who love meat expect from a meat restaurant. And that's what you get here. Needless to say, one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. See you soon.

Burger was nice but quite expensive for what it was. Once the table had ordered, the waiter offered an upgrade on the fries to parmesan fries without informing us of the price - €4 for some parmesan is outrageous and should be prefaced as an up-sell. The waiter then got our order wrong but offered to correct it free of charge.

Fabulous food,cooked to perfection. Service was just right, attentive but not overwhelming.

In addition to the meat being amazing, it is also very successful in salads.

Their meat is very delicious but expensive. The meat comes with french fries and boiled spinach. It's not nice to be constantly asked "Do you want dessert or do you want anything else" in a place where you pay 100€ (which is high even for Amsterdam). Just wait, be patient, let the food reach our stomachs and maybe we can order it. There was constant questioning and we couldn't exchange two words. Additionally, the tables are very close together, I'm glad I didn't go on a crowded day. I don't think I will come again.

This really is a great place if you love your meat Steaks are cooked perfectly and high quality. You pay a premium, but when you see the food, you understand why I would say the only downfall is the sides. Well, there is a lack of choice of side dishes.Chips are nice, but maybe add a jacket potato or some green beans. They do serve some spinach side as well, but to be honest, I found this boring and bland Oh, lastly.. Service is great. Friendly efficient staff. Well done

Excellent, super good and very good service

We came here for dinner last night, it was fantastic. The warm smoked beef platter is especially delicious. We also had the cheese board, onion soup, truffle fries, and the Ayva. We also got both deserts - the cheesecake and the Katmer, both also excellent. They also have a wonderful cocktails menu.

Nice place located in the alleys of Amsterdam. The service was excellent, considering that we had dinner around 10:15 pm, so at the end of the evening, the waiters were polite. The meat and its cooking was excellent.

We stopped quickly for a snack. Great fries and we had a wonderful Turkish dessert: Katmer - don't miss it!! ...and the ladies/ personel are lovely!!

A wonderful place with excellent meat! The Ribeye was the best I’ve had in a long time. My girlfriend surprised me by taking me here for my birthday, and the staff made it extra special with a small fireworks display as a surprise. 10/10 – highly recommend!

Very good restaurant, very pleasant service. The restaurant is chic and pleasant. The open kitchen is an excellent idea allowing us to be able to see the dishes being prepared.

Came back yet again to this place.. This place is a must go to if you like steak/meat.. The staff are great and the food is off the chart.. I recommend the rib eye.. Seriously., this place is tasty as F...!!! Thanks again guys for a lovely dinner..

Not the best taste of meat - on my opinion average, so for those who looking for tasty meat , you will get disappointed. But not expensive in Amsterdam, so this is reason of popularity)

A very well run restaurant with Antonio at the front and Marcia very attentive and reading her customers well. I had the most amazing and memorable dinner experience at Mr Meat. The onion soup was heavenly, perfectly tasted. It was topped with cheese melting onto a small slice of bread. The lamb loins were tenderly cooked and sprinkled with oregano. It's a pity I was too full to try the dessert as the portions were big 😍! I'll be back, the next time I visit Amsterdam!

The meats are extraordinary and perfectly cooked! Accompanied by fries and spinach. Attentive and fast service, in French, English and Dutch. Only downside: the fairly loud ambient noise accompanied by loud but inaudible music... Quite expensive prices €€€ but the quality is there. Recommended for meat lovers (there are even “matured” meats in the fridge)!

Nice restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. Staff was very friendly, even received personal attention from the manager. It looked very hygienic everywhere. Food was very tasty, especially meats are recommended. New York Strip Steak was delicious!

They don't use actual charcoals for bbq steak Juat a gas grill, which isn't the same flavour as smoked steak. 100% steak should be bbq on charcoals only to give it distinct flavour. Gas powered bbq is not a professional chefs cooking method Went there, asked them the question, and went back ,waste of time travelling there.

The steaks are fantastic but it was a bit cold when sitting near the window.

Went there yesterday for the third or fourth time in 2 years.Unfortunatly the rib eyes we ordered where to hard and not juicy.the quality of the meat was disappointing.For 300 gr a 40 euro plate .Hope this was just a bad luck situation...

Good food. Delicious meat and properly cooked. I would suggest the restaurant to have Tabasco or any other chili sauce for meat. Cocktails was a disaster. Was very bad. Delicious crunchy fries. This whole basket is portion for one. The service was friendly. Ambience was nice too although staff was a bit too loud.

Ok, so I’ll admit that I’m not a big steak fan but the steaks in Mr Meat were superb. Really tender and tasty. Great service, great wine selection and the cheesecake was pretty good too!

Speechless, the staff were very friendly and smiles all around. The porterhouse steak was mind blowing just how flavourful it was, the lamb was also so nice. The place was just perfect, even the prices were acceptable too. Local or foreign, this place will make you feel like a King or Queen.

A truly wonderful experience, I loved the atmosphere and I can clearly say that it was the best meat I ate in Amsterdam. The service was very good with cheerful and respectful servants. If you are looking for a restaurant to have a wonderful evening

The staff members were kind and the place is really cozy. The burgers we ordered were very disappointing however. The patties seemed heavily processed and had a strange texture. Perhaps other dishes are good, given the place has good reviews, but I definitely do not recommend the burgers.

The steaks are plentiful and delicious. I was so full that I couldn't eat it all haha.

Amazing food. Great cocktails. Very spacious unlike other Amsterdam restaurants. The space used to be an ABN Amro branch, so you see the safe when you go down for the toilets.

Excellent Steakhouse located in Haarleemmerstraat near the central station. We ordered some excellent Oyster mushrooms, followed by burgers and Lokum fillets. The meat was very tasty and the waitress who served us was very kind, also considering the fact that we had not booked she immediately found us a table. Nice and informal atmosphere, excellent wine too. Recommended for a quiet dinner if you are in Amsterdam

The food is overall great. It is soft and has no unpleasant steak smell or taste. The taste of butter is not strong and the salt balances out the taste. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The spare ribs didn't have much sauce and were well prepared with salt and meat. It's better than eating it with sauce. Unfortunately, the wine list was smaller than expected, and the fries weren't very tasty. Because the portions are large, it seems cheaper than Korean steakhouses.

Solid portions of meat, good drinks, great service (friendly and helpful), nice atmosphere.

The location is ideal, on the edge of the center, and the interior has a nice atmosphere. Perfect for a date with your loved one. After much hesitation, we opted for the chef's signature, 'Heaven on Earth' and 'Lokum'. Absolutely no regrets! The meat was very tender and tasty, but not filling. The portions are on the small side, but that's common these days. We also tried the dessert 'Gözleme'. I wouldn't recommend this one; it's not special.

As soon as you enter, the warmth of the place greets you with the smiling face of the staff, the taste of the food is amazing and the portions are satisfying, you can be sure that you will leave satisfied, and if you are a fan of Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ, there is a surprise waiting for you there, let me tell you 😉

The onion soup was spicy and delicious, the chicken juicy and perfectly cooked. All the employees are friendly, the service is great, the flavors are delicious. I highly recommend it for a nice meal.

Ate here for the first time and I had the entrecote and the steak. It was wonderfully tender!! Really great! Only the trio of ice cream was hard. A bit of a shame for the full experience, but I will still come back!
