Really good meat and excellent service. A special mention to Maria, who was super kind and made us feel completely at home. The restaurant itself is beautiful, honestly one of the nicest places I’ve been to. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

We had a delicious meal, and the meat was tender and cooked medium, as requested. Ivan helped us very well and provided a clear explanation regarding the meat and the halal options. Unfortunately, the seating was a bit awkward and not very comfortable due to the combination of sofa, table, and chair. The sofa, table, and chairs did not seem well coordinated, making the seating feel somewhat uncomfortable.

My first time there and I loved it. The steak was perfectly prepared. Ivan took great care of us. I’ll be back.

Ivan at Mr Steaks was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. The service was excellent from start to finish, and he made the whole experience even better. Definitely ask for Ivan if you’re coming in we’d happily come back because of him.

Ivan was phenomenal. We never waited for anything and instantly felt comfortable. The food was also as good as everyone says it is!

My personal impression was that the food was just about enough to make me somewhat happy (btw.: had to go for a snack thereafter). We were a group of 25 and the owner denied single payments and on top of that they charged us 10% Service fees. We paid with complaints and usually I would have not complaint, if it would have been all satisfied.

We were there with a group of 28 people and the service was inadequate. Despite pre-ordering, the drinks took a very long time and the portion sizes of all the food were on the small side. In the end, they weren't able to bill everyone, and two people from our group had to pay the bill. This is unacceptable for a restaurant like this, especially considering the standards of modern service.

Service was great. Food not so much. Aged T-Bone was cooked too much and chewy.

Mr Meat was a pleasant surprise especially after traveling for over 15hrs! The Lokum filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly and just what I needed after such a long day. The fries were a nice addition and the aioli was delicious. All of the staff was lovely from the host to the servers I encountered and being solo I decided to sit at the bar; Ivan was incredibly informative and friendly giving great suggestions and very patient with my many questions. Even though my visit is only 4 days there’s a good chance I’ll be back!

Mr. Meat Steakhouse in Amsterdam absolutely convinced me and my experience was very positive in all respects. Atmosphere and environment: The restaurant feels very pleasant and airy thanks to the abundance of daylight. The tasteful decoration and simple dining create a relaxed atmosphere. A big plus is the open kitchen, you can see right into it, which feels very transparent and trustworthy. Food and selection: The menu is wonderfully mixed. You will find classic steaks here, but also popular dry-aged pieces, which I appreciate because not everyone is looking for a mature taste. The steaks themselves were prepared exactly according to my requirements, they were perfectly fresh, had a pleasant grilled undertone and no unwanted aftertaste or acidity. Service: The service was not only fast, but also very attentive. I highly recommend this steakhouse to anyone who wants to enjoy honest and perfectly prepared meat in Amsterdam!

Perfected the steak grill.. pro level. We ordered multiple cuts of steaks and they were all made exactly how it should. Very welcoming host too, we came in as group of 8 people with no reservation, he managed to get us a table for 1 hour only before the next group came in. Prepared food quick, we eat and we left happy. My advise, this is a must visit in Amsterdam, but make sure you reserve first.

I thought everything looked good, but the prices and the food were quite different. They only asked once if everything was okay, and that was it. The burger was bland and unappetizing, without any garnish or anything. Some burgers at McDonald's or Burger King look better.

I'm not the type to do reviews but this place 100% deserves it. My brother's and I ordered the tomahawk, the lab chops, grilled shrimp, and a few other things. Everything...and I cant stress this enough..... EVERYTHING was delicious. The lamb chops were the star of the show but anything you get will be delicious. I can't recommend this place enough.

Ordered ribeye, medium-well done. Food was prepared pretty fast and was delicious. A wide drink selection was availible. Music was pretty load and with a lot of people talking all around it was hard to talk/hear. Restaurant was crowded so i would suggest booking in advance.

Great location, friendly and service-oriented staff. We were spontaneously given a table for two without a prior reservation. The medium-rare steaks were a culinary delight. We were able to watch the food being prepared in the open kitchen. Many thanks to the excellent chefs!

Amazing restaurant. Came here to celebrate daughter’s graduation. Was impressed with the ambience and service from the get go. there was just a happy vibe about the place. Food was so good, the steak was cooked perfectly. The service was lacking, especially a young man ‘Joao’. Super friendly and lovely, but he got the first order wrong, he didn’t bring the bill when asked and then just disappeared once he eventually gave us the bill after me asking 3 times. I think maybe he had too many tables to look after! Other than that, wonderful evening

Great location. Main courses are really top notch, just as I've heard from acquaintances. It's just a shame that they only serve fries and no mashed potatoes or regular potatoes. I will definitely be back here.

It was so amazing to discover such a fantastic place in Amsterdam! Everything about Mr. Meat House was completely perfect—the atmosphere was great, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. I sat at the bar and really enjoyed watching them craft cocktails right in front of me. I had the onion soup and the T-bone steak, and both were absolutely delicious. If I ever visit Amsterdam again, coming back here is a absolute must!

We have been to this place twice during our short holiday in Amsterdam. I highly recommend it. We ate excellent meat and were looked after, indeed pampered, by Antonio, the head waiter. He made us feel at home and gave us good advice on the various cuts of meat. The ribs and lamb were sublime. Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo, but I have a good memory of it. Everything was excellent.

It was the best steak in all of Amsterdam!

5 stars because the food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and attentive to intolerances. We were on a family vacation with a daughter who has celiac disease and an egg allergy, and the entire service was tailored to her specific needs. I highly recommend it if you're coming to Amsterdam!

The meats were cooked to a high standard and tasted excellent. It's a must-try place, you won't regret it. Go hungry, order your favorite type of meat and enjoy the flavor!

Stopped in here just after we arrived (No reservation). Luckily they had room. Would have loved to have one of the dry-aged steaks but we weren't hungry enough to justify it. Had the house burger and was not disappointed. Nice place, fair prices and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Food was great! We were served by Maria, which contributed to us having an amazing time here. Also having shots with the waiters made our evening. The only thing that could be better was the music that was kinda low in volume which caused us to hear the music kind of on the background instead of vibing to it more.

In short; An absolute top-notch place! We were a little on the late side, but despite the crowds, that wasn't a problem at all. Super friendly staff. The menu is well put together and the food was on the table lightning fast. The meat is perfectly prepared, exactly what you expect. The atmosphere is casual, but you can feel the quality in everything. From the heavy knives and forks to the drinks, it just works. No unnecessary fuss, just rock-solid organization. Had a wonderful experience at Mr Meat Steakhouse. The manager was attentive and accommodating. We ordered the ribeye, New York strip, and T‑bone — all excellent, with the ribeye standing out for its flavour and tenderness.If you’re craving quality steak, this is a great choice. Reservations are recommended.

On Friday, I visited this restaurant for the second time. The first time was decent. Then the question is always whether it is a coincidence, so you want to give a restaurant a second chance to see if they are capable of delivering quality. The answer is: No! Based on tonight, I do not have the feeling that they are capable of delivering good quality and service. In fact, it was downright bad! The steak tartare was mediocre; it actually had flavor. The bread they served beforehand and with the tartare was rock-hard and stale. For a restaurant like this with such prices, you really should expect fresh bread. That seems like the bare minimum! I would not recommend anyone order that steak tartare. A waste of money! Then came the main course. When ordering, I chose a T-bone steak, cooked medium-rare. When the main course was served, and after a few pieces, it was clear that the steak was not cooked correctly. I then pointed this out to the waitress, who looked at a cut piece of the meat and said that it was indeed medium-rare. She went to double-check with her colleague. He came to take a look too. And he defended the kitchen, claiming it was medium-rare. Then he started a discussion with me about it, to Google a picture of medium-rare on his phone. He picked out a photo that naturally matched the picture nicely to convince me. Even though it was clearly visible that the photo and the meat on the plate did not match. The meat was more medium-well than medium-rare. He also refused to offer a new steak, because he felt he was right. Which is totally ridiculous! The worst way to treat your guests, and essentially you are saying: your feedback doesn't matter! It gets even more interesting! At that point, I decided to eat it reluctantly. Of course, you don't pass up a €52 steak. It certainly wasn't tasty, because I don't eat my steak medium-well. The way a steak is cooked is a determining factor in the taste of the meat. Then the waitress came to clear the table and offered her apologies. She said sorry several times. She admitted that the steak was mostly medium-well. Her male colleague had admitted that to her. To which she offered her apologies. You are left speechless. While that colleague was insisting to me that it was medium-rare, he tells his colleague that it actually was medium/well. So they are trying to fool guests by making money this way. Truly pathetic! Bad service, they don't take guests' feedback seriously! They admit behind your back that you are right, but you don't get a new steak, even though the cook ruined the steak. Just to be clear, this place advises guests not to eat steaks well-done, but they themselves have no knowledge of how a steak is cooked. I had hoped this was a good steakhouse, but I was clearly mistaken; poor quality and poor service! And they are pricey, yet unable to deliver good quality and service. Unbelievably bad!

We booked here because our first choice was actually closed (strange for a Saturday in Amsterdam). I was a little sceptical, the name of the restaurant wasn’t exactly selling this as a top-end steakhouse 🤣, but the reviews certainly were. The dining area is nice, and I think the place used to be an old bank and they’ve kept some of the features which is cool. The restaurant was full, but the atmosphere was a little subdued. However the staff were very attentive and polite - I couldn’t fault them. The steak was excellent, great quality meat and cooked perfectly which you’d expect but not always the case! The sides were ok, nothing mind blowing, but the meat really hit the spot. I would certainly recommend here to anyone who enjoys a well cooked steak and a nice bottle of red. Cheers.

Overall, it was a lovely and wonderful experience. We had the mushroom appetizer, which was very delicious and I highly recommend it. The steaks were lokum and tenderloin, each one more delicious than the other. A beautiful restaurant and well worth a visit.

We dined in Mr Meat as a family of 5 whilst on Holiday in Amsterdam and it was absolutely wonderful. 3 of us ordered Ribeye steaks all asking for them to be done in different ways and when they were brought to us they were exactly how we asked which is a sign of a quality restaurant. 2 others orders the boneless chicken and again said it was perfectly cooked. This is honestly one of the best restaurants I have ate in and you will not be disappointed with your meal.

Mr Meat has one of the best ribeye steaks I have ever eaten. It comes so flavorful. They use no sauces to cook the steaks. I also highly recommend the fried okra. It is really unusual and flavorful
