Our first night In Amsterdam having arrived from a week in Naxos Greece - we were looking for some traditional Aussie Steaks ! This place was just around the corner from our Hotel and central to The Red Light District - steaks were tender tasty and plentiful The waiter was very friendly We were a group of 3 and for once we all ordered separately I had a 300 gm rib eye M-R cooked to perfection with the Argentinian ChimChurri and a baked potato! We shared a veggie plate as well. It was so good - My wife had the Chicken fajitas and whilst not exactly traditional Mexican they were absolutely delicious and again plentiful - We enjoyed a carafe of the house red which turned out to be a very nice soft wine to drink If you like a steak there’s plenty of them to chose from and options for non meat eaters Nice environment and comfortable We loved it

We ate a few dishes at this restaurant, located on a side street near Amsterdam's central station. The flavors were decent, and the service was good, and the prices were average for the area. It's a clean place where you can sit on the street and enjoy your meal. It's a good choice.

The burger gives you the real taste of the burger (the burger without any additions). The steak is less than the normal type. The order was the first type.

I’ve read good reviews but the reality is different.. very expensive place for poor quality food… and the service cost me too much.. more than 10€ tip… centrum is full of other restaurants with better food…. Adios

Super (sometimes overly) friendly service. The food is OK. 4 stars is perfectly justified. There's nothing wrong with the food, but it's not particularly outstanding either. For two birthdays, we received a tiramisu as a surprise. The tiramisu itself was heavy but still delicious. However, the whipped cream was very flat and flavorless. We also ordered coffee, which was unfortunately also very bland. The main course was much better. Kudos to the atmosphere and interior, though.

We found visible mold on the sauce packets served to us — as seen in the attached photo. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety standards at this place.

The food was good, and the staff were friendly. However, we found mold inside the cup used to put ketchup. Although the staff explained that someone else had opened the ketchup and put it there, it still made the experience unpleasant.

Homely atmosphere with very friendly staff, always smiling. I had the tagliatelle all argentalia and it was amazing. Fresh, rich and flavourful sauce with fresh pasta and some good steak. Steak was a little bit on the chewier side but still good. Definitely worth a visit!

We visited this restaurant shortly after arriving in Amsterdam, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our first day in the city. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The waiter who greeted us was incredibly friendly, full of energy, and very chatty in the best way — he made us feel right at home straight away. Despite being a group of five, we were seated immediately without any hassle, which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered a mix of dishes including burgers, pizza, and pasta. The burger was especially outstanding — without a doubt, the best burger any of us had during our stay in Amsterdam. It was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pizza and pasta dishes were also delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. Everything arrived at the table quickly and was served hot, which added to the overall positive experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to unwind after a long day of travel. For a central location like this, we were expecting prices to be quite high, but we were pleasantly surprised — the meal was very reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes we received. Another small but important detail: the bathroom was exceptionally clean and tidy, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Amsterdam. Highly recommended for both the food and the friendly service!
